Two to be brought before a court in a big country of cocaine.

Gardaí have charged two men in connection with the large haul of cocaine found on a cargo ship off the Cork coast last Tuesday.
Tá beirt fhear cúisithe ag na Gardaí maidir leis an lear mór cócaoin a fuarthas ar lastlong amach ó chósta Chorcaí Dé Máirt seo caite.
The men have been charged with drug importing offenses and are due to appear at Wexford District Court this afternoon.

The two were on a trawler that sailed off the Wexford coast last Sunday and were arrested after the rescue services brought them ashore.

Over 2.2 tonnes of cocaine were found on the cargo ship – the MV Matthew – after the authorities took possession of it with a strong hand.

Five men who were on board the ship were arrested and are still being questioned by Gardai.
