Post-mortem examinations to be carried out on the bodies of three people in Cork.
Scrúduithe iarbháis le déanamh ar choirp triúir i gCorcaigh.
Post-mortem examinations are to be carried out today on the bodies of the three – a father and two sons – who were shot and killed on a farm near Turkey Head in Co Cork yesterday.
Tá scrúduithe iarbháis le déanamh inniu ar choirp an triúir – athair agus beirt mhac – a lámhachadh agus a maraíodh ar fheirm in aice le Ceann Tuirc i gCo Chorcaí inné.
Tadhg O’Sullivan, 59, and his two sons, Mark and Diarmuid, aged 26 and 22, were killed on the family farm in Athlolas.
Maraíodh Tadhg OSullivan, 59 bliain daois, agus a bheirt mhac, Mark agus Diarmuid, a bhí 26 agus 22, ar fheirm an teaghlaigh in Áth Solas.
Gardaí originally found the body of the youngest son, Diarmuid, in a bedroom in the family home.
Fuair na Gardaí corp an mhic is óige, Diarmuid, i seomra codlata i dteach cónaithe an teaghlaigh i dtosach.
Shortly afterwards, they found the bodies of the other two in a park 500 meters from the house.
Go gairid ina dhiaidh sin, tháinig siad ar choirp na beirte eile i bpáirc 500 méadar ón teach.
Two rifles and a shotgun were also found at the scene.
Fuarthas dhá raidhfil agus gránghunna ar an láthair chomh maith.
It is understood that the Gardaí believe that two of them were murdered and that the other committed suicide.
Tuigtear go bhfuil na Gardaí den bharúil gur dúnmharaíodh beirt acu agus gur chuir an duine eile lámh ina bhás féin.
The Gardaí are investigating an underground dispute with the will of the perpetrator.
Tá na Gardaí ag fiosrú ar aighneas faoi thalamh a fhágáil le huacht údar an oilc.
Gardaí from the Technical Bureau are once again conducting forensic examinations at the scene today.
Tá scrúduithe dlí-eolaíochta á ndéanamh ar an láthair arís inniu ag Gardaí ón mBiúró Teicniúil.
Diarmuid O’Sullivan completed an accounting course at Cork Institute of Technology in June and was due to be awarded a first class honors degree next week.
Chríochnaigh Diarmuid OSullivan cúrsa cuntasaíochta in Institiúid Teicneolaíochta Chorcaí i mí an Mheithimh agus bhí céim chéadonóracha le bronnadh air an tseachtain seo chugainn.
A spokesman from the college Dr Dan Collins said everyone in the place was deeply disturbed by the tragedy.
Dúirt urlabhraí ón gcoláiste an Dr Dan Collins go raibh gach duine san áit suaite go mór ag an tragóid.
A spokesperson from Castlemaine Athletic Association – played by Mark and Diarmuid – said they would do everything they could to help their mother Ann O’Sullivan.
Dúirt urlabhraí ó Chumann Lúthchleas Gael Chaisleán an Mhaignéaraigh – ar imir Mark agus Diarmuid dóibh – go ndéanfaidís gach arbh fhéidir leo le cuidiú lena máthair Ann OSullivan.
