Two young women who have been missing in Galway Bay since last night have been found alive.

The two cousins, Ellen Glynn and Sara Feeney, were caught by local fishermen holding a buoy attached to a lobster pot.

The two, aged 17 and 23, went to sea on small surfboards off Forbach beach at 9.30 last night.
