It is the twenty third of August in the year of two thousand and nineteen.
Nous sommes le 23 août de l’année deux mille dix-neuf.
The weather has changed again slightly in comparisson to this time yesterday.
Le temps a de nouveau légèrement changé par rapport à cette heure d’hier.
The sky is now grey and it is breezy out although I dont think it will rain.
Le ciel est maintenant gris et il y a du vent bien que je ne pense pas qu’il pleuvra.
I was out walking yesterday evening by a lake in county wicklow.
Je me promenais hier soir au bord d’un lac dans le comté de Wicklow.
It started to rain but I was prepared and had my raincoat in my backpack.
Il a commencé à pleuvoir mais j’étais prêt et j’avais mon imperméable dans mon sac à dos.
I took the coat out and put it on and continued my walk.
J’ai sorti le manteau et l’ai mis et j’ai continué ma marche.
After only maybe two minutes, the rain stopped and the sun came out.
Après seulement peut-être deux minutes, la pluie s’est arrêtée et le soleil est sorti.
As it was warm and humid, I stopped again to take my raincoat off and place it back in my bag.
Comme il faisait chaud et humide, je me suis arrêté de nouveau pour enlever mon imperméable et le remettre dans mon sac.
Five minutes later, the rain started again and I had to stop and put back on my jacket.
Cinq minutes plus tard, la pluie a recommencé et j’ai dû m’arrêter et remettre ma veste.
It didnt know if it was coming or going but I enjoyed my walk on a remote hillside in wicklow.
Il ne savait pas si cela allait ou venait, mais j’ai apprécié ma promenade sur une colline isolée à Wicklow.
The view was great.
La vue était superbe.
I reached the lakeside after about one hour and the water was nice and calm.
J’ai atteint le bord du lac après environ une heure et l’eau était belle et calme.
A fish jumped and I could hear the splash but I never got to see the fish, only the ripple it left behind.
Un poisson a sauté et j’ai pu entendre les éclaboussures mais je n’ai jamais pu voir le poisson, seulement l’ondulation qu’il a laissée derrière.
