1 In times past the word of God came to our fathers through the prophets, in different parts and in different ways;

4 Having become by so much better than the angels, as the name which is his heritage is more noble than theirs.

4 und ist so viel besser geworden den die Engel, so viel höher der Name ist, den er von ihnen ererbt hat.
5 To which of the angels did God say at any time, You are my Son, this day I have given you being? or, I will be his Father, and he will be my Son?
5 Car auquel des anges Dieu a-t-il jamais dit: Tu es mon Fils, Je t'ai engendré aujourd'hui? Et encore: Je serai pour lui un père, et il sera pour moi un fils?
5 Óir cé acu de na haingil a ndúirt sé leis riamh: “Is tú mo Mhac, inniu a ghin mé thú”; agus arís: “Beidh mé i m'Athair aige agus beidh seisean ina Mhac agamsa”?
5 Porque ¿á cuál de los ángeles dijo Dios jamás: Mi hijo eres tú, Hoy yo te he engendrado? Y otra vez: Yo seré á él Padre, Y él me será á mí hijo?
5 Denn zu welchem Engel hat er jemals gesagt: "Du bist mein lieber Sohn, heute habe ich dich gezeugt"? und abermals: "Ich werde sein Vater sein, und er wird mein Sohn sein"?
6 And again, when he is sending his only Son into the world, he says, Let all the angels of God give him worship.
6 Et lorsqu'il introduit de nouveau dans le monde le premier-né, il dit: Que tous les anges de Dieu l'adorent!

7 And of the angels he says, Who makes his angels winds, and his servants flames of fire:
7 De plus, il dit des anges: Celui qui fait de ses anges des vents, Et de ses serviteurs une flamme de feu.

8 But of the Son he says, Your seat of power, O God, is for ever and ever; and the rod of your kingdom is a rod of righteousness.
8 Mais il a dit au Fils: Ton trône, ô Dieu est éternel; Le sceptre de ton règne est un sceptre d'équité;

8 aber von dem Sohn: "Gott, dein Stuhl währt von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit; das Zepter deines Reichs ist ein richtiges Zepter.
9 You have been a lover of righteousness and a hater of evil; and so God, your God, has put the oil of joy on your head more than on the heads of those who are with you.
9 Tu as aimé la justice, et tu as haï l'iniquité; C'est pourquoi, ô Dieu, ton Dieu t'a oint D'une huile de joie au-dessus de tes égaux.

9 Has amado la justicia, y aborrecido la maldad; Por lo cual te ungió Dios, el Dios tuyo, Con óleo de alegría más que á tus compañeros.
9 Du hast geliebt die Gerechtigkeit und gehaßt die Ungerechtigkeit; darum hat dich, o Gott, gesalbt dein Gott mit dem Öl der Freuden über deine Genossen."
10 You, Lord, at the first did put the earth on its base, and the heavens are the works of your hands:

11 They will come to their end; but you are for ever; they will become old as a robe;

12 They will be rolled up like a cloth, even like a robe, and they will be changed: but you are the same and your years will have no end.

13 But of which of the angels has he said at any time, Take your seat at my right hand till I put all those who are against you under your feet?
13 Et auquel des anges a-t-il jamais dit: Assieds-toi à ma droite, jusqu'à ce que je fasse de tes ennemis ton marchepied?

13 Pues, ¿á cuál de los ángeles dijo jamás: Siéntate á mi diestra, Hasta que ponga á tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies?
13 Zu welchem Engel aber hat er jemals gesagt: "Setze dich zu meiner Rechten, bis ich lege deine Feinde zum Schemel deiner Füße"?
14 Are they not all helping spirits, who are sent out as servants to those whose heritage will be salvation?
14 Ne sont-ils pas tous des esprits au service de Dieu, envoyés pour exercer un ministère en faveur de ceux qui doivent hériter du salut?
