2 Grace to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 que la grâce et la paix vous soient données de la part de Dieu notre Père et du Seigneur Jésus Christ!

2 Gracia y paz á vosotros de Dios nuestro Padre y del Señor Jesucristo.
2 Gnade sei mit euch und Friede von Gott, unserm Vater, und dem HERRN Jesus Christus!
3 It is right for us to give praise to God at all times for you, brothers, because of the great increase of your faith, and the wealth of your love for one another;
3 Nous devons à votre sujet, frères, rendre continuellement grâces à Dieu, comme cela est juste, parce que votre foi fait de grands progrès, et que la charité de chacun de vous tous à l'égard des autres augmente de plus en plus.
3 Tá sé d'fhiacha orainn bheith ag gabháil buíochais gan stad le Dia mar gheall oraibh, a bhráithre, agus níl ann ach an ceart, mar tá bhur gcreideamh ag fás thar na bearta agus bhur ngrá dá chéile, gach duine agaibh, ag dul i méid.
3 Debemos siempre dar gracias á Dios de vosotros, hermanos, como es digno, por cuanto vuestra fe va creciendo, y la caridad de cada uno de todos vosotros abunda entre vosotros;
3 Wir sollen Gott danken allezeit um euch, liebe Brüder, wie es billig ist; denn euer Glauben wächst sehr, und die Liebe eines jeglichen unter euch allen nimmt zu gegeneinander,
4 So that we ourselves take pride in you in the churches of God for your untroubled mind and your faith in all the troubles and sorrows which you are going through;
4 Aussi nous glorifions-nous de vous dans les Églises de Dieu, à cause de votre persévérance et de votre foi au milieu de toutes vos persécutions et des tribulations que vous avez à supporter.
4 Go deimhin, bímid féin ag maíomh asaibh in eaglaisí Dé, mar gheall ar bhur seasmhacht agus ar bhur gcreideamh ainneoin a bhfuil de ghéarleanúintí agus de thrioblóidí le fulaingt againn.
4 Tanto, que nosotros mismos nos gloriamos de vosotros en las iglesias de Dios, de vuestra paciencia y en todas vuestras persecuciones y tribulaciones que sufrís:
4 also daß wir uns euer rühmen unter den Gemeinden Gottes über eure Geduld und euren Glauben in allen Verfolgungen und Trübsalen, die ihr duldet;
5 Which is a clear sign of the decision which God in his righteousness has made; to give you a part in his kingdom, for which you have undergone this pain;
5 C'est une preuve du juste jugement de Dieu, pour que vous soyez jugés dignes du royaume de Dieu, pour lequel vous souffrez.
5 Is léiriú é sin ar bhreithiúnas cothrom Dé, mar is é a thiocfaidh as go mbeidh sibhse i dteideal ríocht Dé a bhaint amach toisc sibh a bheith ag fulaingt ar a son;
5 Una demostración del justo juicio de Dios, para que seáis tenidos por dignos del reino de Dios, por el cual asimismo padecéis.
5 welches anzeigt, daß Gott recht richten wird und ihr würdig werdet zum Reich Gottes, für das ihr auch leidet;
6 For it is an act of righteousness on God's part to give trouble as their reward to those who are troubling you,
6 Car il est de la justice de Dieu de rendre l'affliction à ceux qui vous affligent,
6 agus ar an gcuma chéanna níl ann ach an ceart go ndéanfadh Dia a ndíol féin den leatrom a thabhairt dóibh siúd atá ag déanamh leatroim oraibhse
6 Porque es justo para con Dios pagar con tribulación á los que os atribulan;
6 nach dem es recht ist bei Gott, zu vergelten Trübsal denen, die euch Trübsal antun,
7 And to you who are troubled, rest with us, when the Lord Jesus comes from heaven with the angels of his power in flames of fire,
7 et de vous donner, à vous qui êtes affligés, du repos avec nous, lorsque le Seigneur Jésus apparaîtra du ciel avec les anges de sa puissance,
7 agus faoiseamh ón leatrom a thabhairt daoibhse agus dúinne araon, rud a dhéanfaidh sé nuair a nochtfaidh an Tiarna Íosa ó neamh chugainn agus a aingil chumhachtacha lena chois.
7 Y á vosotros, que sois atribulados, dar reposo con nosotros, cuando se manifestará el Señor Jesús del cielo con los ángeles de su potencia,
7 euch aber, die ihr Trübsal leidet, Ruhe mit uns, wenn nun der HERR Jesus wird offenbart werden vom Himmel samt den Engeln seiner Kraft
8 To give punishment to those who have no knowledge of God, and to those who do not give ear to the good news of our Lord Jesus:
8 au milieu d'une flamme de feu, pour punir ceux qui ne connaissent pas Dieu et ceux qui n'obéissent pas à l'Évangile de notre Seigneur Jésus.
8 Tiocfaidh sé i gcaoraíl tine ag agairt díoltais orthu siúd nach bhfuil aithne ar Dhia acu agus nach ngéilleann do dhea-scéal ár dTiarna Íosa.
8 En llama de fuego, para dar el pago á los que no conocieron á Dios, ni obedecen al evangelio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo;
8 und mit Feuerflammen, Rache zu geben über die, so Gott nicht erkennen, und über die so nicht gehorsam sind dem Evangelium unsers HERRN Jesu Christi,
9 Whose reward will be eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his strength,
9 Ils auront pour châtiment une ruine éternelle, loin de la face du Seigneur et de la gloire de sa force,
9 Gearrfar mar phionós orthu bascadh síoraí i bhfad ó ghnúis an Tiarna agus ó ghlóir a chumhachta,
9 Los cuales serán castigados de eterna perdición por la presencia del Señor, y por la gloria de su potencia,
9 welche werden Pein leiden, das ewige Verderben von dem Angesichte des HERRN und von seiner herrlichen Macht,
10 At his coming, when he will have glory in his saints, and will be a cause of wonder in all those who had faith (because our witness among you had effect) in that day.
10 lorsqu'il viendra pour être, en ce jour-là, glorifié dans ses saints et admiré dans tous ceux qui auront cru, car notre témoignage auprès de vous a été cru.

10 Cuando viniere para ser glorificado en sus santos, y á hacerse admirable en aquel día en todos los que creyeron: (por cuanto nuestro testimonio ha sido creído entre vosotros.)
10 wenn er kommen wird, daß er herrlich erscheine mit seinen Heiligen und wunderbar mit allen Gläubigen; denn unser Zeugnis an euch von diesem Tage habt ihr geglaubt.
11 For this reason, you are ever in our prayers, that you may seem to our God such as may have a part in his purpose and that by his power he will make all his good purpose, and the work of faith, complete;
11 C'est pourquoi aussi nous prions continuellement pour vous, afin que notre Dieu vous juge dignes de la vocation, et qu'il accomplisse par sa puissance tous les dessins bienveillants de sa bonté, et l'oeuvre de votre foi,
11 Sin é an fáth nach stadaimid ach ag guí oraibh le hionchas go ndéanfadh ár nDia diongbháilte ar bhur ngairm sibh agus go dtabharfadh sé chun críche go héifeachtach gach fonn maitheasa atá oraibh agus gach dea-ghníomh dá spreagann an creideamh ionaibh.
11 Por lo cual, asimismo oramos siempre por vosotros, que nuestro Dios os tenga por dignos de su vocación, e hincha de bondad todo buen intento, y toda obra de fe con potencia,
11 Und derhalben beten wir auch allezeit für euch, daß unser Gott euch würdig mache zur Berufung und erfülle alles Wohlgefallen der Güte und das Werk des Glaubens in der Kraft,
12 So that glory may be given to the name of our Lord Jesus through you, and you may have glory in him, by the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
12 pour que le nom de notre Seigneur Jésus soit glorifié en vous, et que vous soyez glorifiés en lui, selon la grâce de notre Dieu et du Seigneur Jésus Christ.
