1 PABLO, y Silvano, y Timoteo, á la iglesia de los Tesalonicenses que es en Dios Padre y en el Señor Jesucristo: Gracia y paz á vosotros de Dios nuestro Padre y del Señor Jesucristo.
1 Paulus und Silvanus und Timotheus der Gemeinde zu Thessalonich in Gott, dem Vater, und dem HERRN Jesus Christus: Gnade sei mit euch und Friede von Gott, unserm Vater, und dem HERRN Jesus Christus!
2 We give praise to God at all times for you, keeping you in memory in our prayers;
2 Nous rendons continuellement grâces à Dieu pour vous tous, faisant mention de vous dans nos prières,
2 Ní stadaimid ach ag gabháil buíochais le Dia mar gheall oraibh uile agus ag cuimhneamh oraibh gan staonadh inár n‑urnaithe.
2 Damos siempre gracias á Dios por todos vosotros, haciendo memoria de vosotros en nuestras oraciones;
2 Wir danken Gott allezeit für euch alle und gedenken euer im Gebet ohne Unterlaß
3 Having ever in mind your work of faith and acts of love and the strength of your hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father;
3 nous rappelant sans cesse l'oeuvre de votre foi, le travail de votre charité, et la fermeté de votre espérance en notre Seigneur Jésus Christ, devant Dieu notre Père.
3 Cuimhnímid i láthair Dé, ár nAthair, ar a bhríomhaireacht atá bhur gcreideamh, ar a dhícheallaí atá bhur ngrá agus ar a sheasmhacht atá bhur ndóchas as ár dTiarna Íosa Críost.
3 Sin cesar acordándonos delante del Dios y Padre nuestro de la obra de vuestra fe, y del trabajo de amor, y de la tolerancia de la esperanza del Señor nuestro Jesucristo:
3 und denken an euer Werk im Glauben und an eure Arbeit in der Liebe und an eure Geduld in der Hoffnung, welche ist unser HERR Jesus Christus, vor Gott und unserm Vater.
4 Being conscious, my brothers, dear to God, that you have been marked out by God's purpose;
4 Nous savons, frères bien-aimés de Dieu, que vous avez été élus,
4 A bhráithre, a bhfuil gnaoi Dé oraibh, tá a fhios agaibh mar a roghnaigh sé sibh;
4 Sabiendo, hermanos amados de Dios, vuestra elección:
4 Denn, liebe Brüder, von Gott geliebt, wir wissen, wie ihr auserwählt seid,
5 Because our good news came to you, not in word only, but in power, and in the Holy Spirit, so that you were completely certain of it; even as you saw what our behaviour to you was like from our love to you.
5 notre Évangile ne vous ayant pas été prêché en paroles seulement, mais avec puissance, avec l'Esprit Saint, et avec une pleine persuasion; car vous n'ignorez pas que nous nous sommes montrés ainsi parmi vous, à cause de vous.
5 mar ní le briathra béil amháin a tháinig ár ndea-scéal chugaibh ach le cumhacht agus le lándeimhniú an Spioraid Naoimh. Agus tá a fhios agaibhse mar a thugamar ár saol, fad a bhíomar in bhur measc, ar mhaithe libh.
5 Por cuanto nuestro evangelio no fué á vosotros en palabra solamente, mas también en potencia, y en Espíritu Santo, y en gran plenitud; como sabéis cuáles fuimos entre vosotros por amor de vosotros.
5 daß unser Evangelium ist bei euch gewesen nicht allein im Wort, sondern auch in der Kraft und in dem heiligen Geist und in großer Gewißheit; wie ihr denn wisset, welcherlei wir gewesen sind unter euch um euretwillen;
6 And you took us and the Lord as your example, after the word had come to you in much trouble, with joy in the Holy Spirit;
6 Et vous-mêmes, vous avez été mes imitateurs et ceux du Seigneur, en recevant la parole au milieu de beaucoup de tribulations, avec la joie du Saint Esprit,
6 Agus rinne sibhse aithris orainn agus ar an Tiarna, mar d'ainneoin gach anacra ghlac sibh leis an mbriathar uainn le lúcháir an Spioraid Naoimh,
6 Y vosotros fuisteis hechos imitadores de nosotros, y del Señor, recibiendo la palabra con mucha tribulación, con gozo del Espíritu Santo:
6 und ihr seid unsre Nachfolger geworden und des HERRN und habt das Wort aufgenommen unter vielen Trübsalen mit Freuden im heiligen Geist,
7 So that you became an example to all those who have faith in Christ in Macedonia and Achaia.
7 en sorte que vous êtes devenus un modèle pour tous les croyants de la Macédoine et de l'Achaïe.
7 sa tslí go raibh sibh mar shampla ag a bhfuil de chreidmhigh sa Mhacadóin agus in Acháia.
7 En tal manera que habéis sido ejemplo á todos los que han creído en Macedonia y en Acaya.
7 also daß ihr geworden seid ein Vorbild allen Gläubigen in Mazedonien und Achaja.
8 For not only was the word of the Lord sounding out from you in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place your faith in God is made clear; so that we have no need to say anything.
8 Non seulement, en effet, la parole du Seigneur a retenti de chez vous dans la Macédoine et dans l'Achaïe, mais votre foi en Dieu s'est fait connaître en tout lieu, de telle manière que nous n'avons pas besoin d'en parler.

8 Porque de vosotros ha sido divulgada la palabra del Señor no sólo en Macedonia y en Acaya, mas aun en todo lugar vuestra fe en Dios se ha extendido; de modo que no tenemos necesidad de hablar nada.
8 Denn von euch ist auserschollen das Wort des HERRN; nicht allein in Mazedonien und Achaja, sondern an allen Orten ist auch euer Glaube an Gott bekannt geworden, also daß uns nicht not ist, etwas zu sagen.
9 For they themselves give the news of how we came among you; and how you were turned from images to God, to the worship of a true and living God,
9 Car on raconte, à notre sujet, quel accès nous avons eu auprès de vous, et comment vous vous êtes convertis à Dieu, en abandonnant les idoles pour servir le Dieu vivant et vrai,
9 Tá na daoine féin ag cur síos ar an bhfáilte a chuir sibh romhainn agus mar a chas sibh ar Dhia ó na déithe bréige chun dul ag seirbhís don fhíorDhia beo
9 Porque ellos cuentan de nosotros cuál entrada tuvimos á vosotros; y cómo os convertisteis de los ídolos á Dios, para servir al Dios vivo y verdadero.
9 Denn sie selbst verkündigen von euch, was für einen Eingang wir zu euch gehabt haben und wie ihr bekehrt seid zu Gott von den Abgöttern, zu dienen dem lebendigen und wahren Gott
10 Waiting for his Son from heaven, who came back from the dead, even Jesus, our Saviour from the wrath to come.
10 et pour attendre des cieux son Fils, qu'il a ressuscité des morts, Jésus, qui nous délivre de la colère à venir.
