1 How is it, that if any one of you has a cause at law against another, he takes it before a Gentile judge and not before the saints?
1 Quelqu'un de vous, lorsqu'il a un différend avec un autre, ose-t-il plaider devant les injustes, et non devant les saints?
1 Nuair a bhíonn cúis ag duine agaibh ar dhuine eile an mbíonn sé d'éadan air an scéal a chur faoi bhreith na neamhfhíréan in ionad na naomh?
1 ¿OSA alguno de vosotros, teniendo algo con otro, ir á juicio delante de los injustos, y no delante de los santos?
1 Wie darf jemand unter euch, so er einen Handel hat mit einem andern, hadern vor den Ungerechten und nicht vor den Heiligen?
2 Is it not certain that the saints will be the judges of the world? if then the world will be judged by you, are you unable to give a decision about the smallest things?
2 Ne savez-vous pas que les saints jugeront le monde? Et si c'est par vous que le monde est jugé, êtes-vous indignes de rendre les moindres jugements?
2 An é nach dtuigeann sibh gurb iad na naoimh a thabharfaidh breith ar an domhan? Agus más oraibhse atá breith a thabhairt ar an domhan, an amhlaidh nach bhfuil sibh in ann ceisteanna suaracha a réiteach?
2 ¿O no sabéis que los santos han de juzgar al mundo? Y si el mundo ha de ser juzgado por vosotros, ¿sois indignos de juzgar cosas muy pequeñas?
2 Wißt ihr nicht, daß die Heiligen die Welt richten werden? So nun die Welt von euch soll gerichtet werden, seid ihr denn nicht gut genug, geringe Sachen zu richten?
3 Is it not certain that we are to be the judges of angels? how much more then of the things of this life?
3 Ne savez-vous pas que nous jugerons les anges? Et nous ne jugerions pas, à plus forte raison, les choses de cette vie?
3 Nach bhfuil a fhios agaibh go dtabharfaimid breith ar na haingil féin gan trácht ar nithe saolta?
3 ¿O no sabéis que hemos de juzgar á los angeles? ¿cuánto más las cosas de este siglo?
3 Wisset ihr nicht, daß wir über die Engel richten werden? Wie viel mehr über die zeitlichen Güter.
4 If then there are questions to be judged in connection with the things of this life, why do you put them in the hands of those who have no position in the church?
4 Quand donc vous avez des différends pour les choses de cette vie, ce sont des gens dont l'Église ne fait aucun cas que vous prenez pour juges!
4 Dá bhrí sin má bhíonn cúrsaí saolta le réiteach agaibh, cad ab áil libh iad a chur faoi bhreithiúnas daoine nach bhfuil seasamh ar bith sa phobal Críostaí acu?
4 Por tanto, si hubiereis de tener juicios de cosas de este siglo, poned para juzgar á los que son de menor estima en la iglesia.
4 Ihr aber, wenn ihr über zeitlichen Gütern Sachen habt, so nehmt ihr die, so bei der Gemeinde verachtet sind, und setzet sie zu Richtern.
5 I say this to put you to shame. Is there not among you one wise man who may be able to give a decision between his brothers?
5 Je le dis à votre honte. Ainsi il n'y a parmi vous pas un seul homme sage qui puisse prononcer entre ses frères.
5 Mo náire sibh! An amhlaidh nach bhfuil aon duine stuama oraibh féin a d'fhéadfadh réiteach a dhéanamh idir a bhráithre,
5 Para avergonzaros lo digo. ¿Pues qué, no hay entre vosotros sabio, ni aun uno que pueda juzgar entre sus hermanos;
5 Euch zur Schande muß ich das sagen: Ist so gar kein Weiser unter euch, auch nicht einer, der da könnte richten zwischen Bruder und Bruder?
6 But a brother who has a cause at law against another takes it before Gentile judges.
6 Mais un frère plaide contre un frère, et cela devant des infidèles!
6 ach bráthair ag cur dlí ar bhráthair agus é a dhéanamh i láthair ainchreidmheach?
6 Sino que el hermano con el hermano pleitea en juicio, y esto ante los infieles?
6 sondern ein Bruder hadert mit dem andern, dazu vor den Ungläubigen.
7 More than this, it is not to your credit to have causes at law with one another at all. Why not put up with wrong? why not undergo loss?
7 C'est déjà certes un défaut chez vous que d'avoir des procès les uns avec les autres. Pourquoi ne souffrez-vous pas plutôt quelque injustice? Pourquoi ne vous laissez-vous pas plutôt dépouiller?
7 Is locht oraibh a bheith ag dul chun dlí le chéile ar chor ar bith. Cén fáth nach gcuireann sibh suas leis an éagóir? Cén fáth nach bhfulaingíonn sibh leis an bhfeall?
7 Así que, por cierto es ya una falta en vosotros que tengáis pleitos entre vosotros mismos. ¿Por qué no sufrís antes la injuria? ¿por qué no sufrís antes ser defraudados?
7 Es ist schon ein Fehl unter euch, daß ihr miteinander rechtet. Warum laßt ihr euch nicht lieber Unrecht tun? warum laßt ihr euch nicht lieber übervorteilen?
8 So far from doing this, you yourselves do wrong and take your brothers' property.
8 Mais c'est vous qui commettez l'injustice et qui dépouillez, et c'est envers des frères que vous agissez de la sorte!

8 Empero vosotros hacéis la injuria, y defraudáis, y esto á los hermanos.

9 Have you not knowledge that evil-doers will have no part in the kingdom of God? Have no false ideas about this: no one who goes after the desires of the flesh, or gives worship to images, or is untrue when married, or is less than a man, or makes a wrong use of men,
9 Ne savez-vous pas que les injustes n'hériteront point le royaume de Dieu? Ne vous y trompez pas: ni les impudiques, ni les idolâtres, ni les adultères,

9 ¿No sabéis que los injustos no poseerán el reino de Dios? No erréis, que ni los fornicarios, ni los idólatras, ni los adúlteros, ni los afeminados, ni los que se echan con varones,
9 Wisset ihr nicht, daß die Ungerechten das Reich Gottes nicht ererben werden? Lasset euch nicht verführen! Weder die Hurer noch die Abgöttischen noch die Ehebrecher noch die Weichlinge noch die Knabenschänder
10 Or is a thief, or the worse for drink, or makes use of strong language, or takes by force what is not his, will have any part in the kingdom of God.
10 ni les efféminés, ni les infâmes, ni les voleurs, ni les cupides, ni les ivrognes, ni les outrageux, ni les ravisseurs, n'hériteront le royaume de Dieu.
10 ná gadaithe ná santacháin ná meisceoirí ná cáinteoirí ná robálaithe - ní bhfaighidh siad ríocht Dé mar oidhreacht.
10 Ni los ladrones, ni los avaros, ni los borrachos, ni los maldicientes, ni los robadores, heredarán el reino de Dios.
10 noch die Diebe noch die Geizigen noch die Trunkenbolde noch die Lästerer noch die Räuber werden das Reich Gottes ererben.
11 And such were some of you; but you have been washed, you have been made holy, you have been given righteousness in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
11 Et c'est là ce que vous étiez, quelques-uns de vous. Mais vous avez été lavés, mais vous avez été sanctifiés, mais vous avez été justifiés au nom du Seigneur Jésus Christ, et par l'Esprit de notre Dieu.

11 Y esto erais algunos: mas ya sois lavados, mas ya sois santificados, mas ya sois justificados en el nombre del Señor Jesús, y por el Espíritu de nuestro Dios.
11 Und solche sind euer etliche gewesen; aber ihr seid abgewaschen, ihr seid geheiligt, ihr seid gerecht geworden durch den Namen des HERRN Jesu und durch den Geist unsers Gottes.
12 I am free to do all things; but not all things are wise. I am free to do all things; but I will not let myself come under the power of any.

13 Food is for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will put an end to them together. But the body is not for the desires of the flesh, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body:
13 Les aliments sont pour le ventre, et le ventre pour les aliments; et Dieu détruira l'un comme les autres. Mais le corps n'est pas pour l'impudicité. Il est pour le Seigneur, et le Seigneur pour le corps.

13 Las viandas para el vientre, y el vientre para las viandas; empero y á él y á ellas deshará Dios. Mas el cuerpo no es para la fornicación, sino para el Señor; y el Señor para el cuerpo:
13 Die Speise dem Bauche und der Bauch der Speise; aber Gott wird diesen und jene zunichte machen. Der Leib aber nicht der Hurerei, sondern dem HERRN, und der HERR dem Leibe.
14 And God who made the Lord Jesus come back from the dead will do the same for us by his power.
14 Et Dieu, qui a ressuscité le Seigneur, nous ressuscitera aussi par sa puissance.
14 Mar ní amháin gur thóg Dia an Tiarna ó mhairbh ach tógfaidh sé sinne ó mhairbh lena chumhacht chomh maith.
14 Y Dios que levantó al Señor, también á nosotros nos levantará con su poder.
14 Gott aber hat den HERRN auferweckt und wird uns auch auferwecken durch seine Kraft.
15 Do you not see that your bodies are part of the body of Christ? how then may I take what is a part of the body of Christ and make it a part of the body of a loose woman? such a thing may not be.
15 Ne savez-vous pas que vos corps sont des membres de Christ? Prendrai-je donc les membres de Christ, pour en faire les membres d'une prostituée?
15 Nach bhfuil a fhios agaibh gur baill bheatha de Chríost bhur gcoirp? Más ea, an bhfuilim chun baill bheatha Chríost a thógáil agus baill bheatha mheirdrí a dhéanamh díobh? Nár lige Dia sin!
15 ¿No sabéis que vuestros cuerpos son miembros de Cristo? ¿Quitaré pues los miembros de Cristo, y los haré miembros de una ramera? Lejos sea.
15 Wisset ihr nicht, daß eure Leiber Christi Glieder sind? Sollte ich nun die Glieder Christi nehmen und Hurenglieder daraus machen? Das sei ferne!
16 Or do you not see that he who is joined to a loose woman is one body with her? for God has said, The two of them will become one flesh.
16 Loin de là! Ne savez-vous pas que celui qui s'attache à la prostituée est un seul corps avec elle? Car, est-il dit, les deux deviendront une seule chair.
16 Nach bhfuil a fhios agaibh an té a bhíonn go dlúth i bpáirt le meirdreach go mbíonn sé d'aon chorp léi? Mar a deir an scrioptúr: “Aon cholainn amháin a bheidh sa bheirt acu.”
16 ¿O no sabéis que el que se junta con una ramera, es hecho con ella un cuerpo? porque serán, dice, los dos en una carne.
16 Oder wisset ihr nicht, daß, wer an der Hure hangt, der ist ein Leib mit ihr? Denn "es werden", spricht er, "die zwei ein Fleisch sein."
17 But he who is united to the Lord is one spirit.
17 Mais celui qui s'attache au Seigneur est avec lui un seul esprit.
17 An té a bhíonn go dlúth i bpáirt leis an Tiarna áfach, bíonn sé d'aon spiorad leis.
17 Empero el que se junta con el Señor, un espíritu es.
17 Wer aber dem HERRN anhangt, der ist ein Geist mit ihm.
18 Keep away from the desires of the flesh. Every sin which a man does is outside of the body; but he who goes after the desires of the flesh does evil to his body.
18 Fuyez l'impudicité. Quelque autre péché qu'un homme commette, ce péché est hors du corps; mais celui qui se livre à l'impudicité pèche contre son propre corps.
18 Seachnaígí an drúis dá réir sin. Gach peaca eile dá ndéanann an duine, is lasmuigh dá chorp a bhíonn sé, ach is in aghaidh a choirp féin a pheacaíonn fear na drúise.
18 Huid la fornicación. Cualquier otro pecado que el hombre hiciere, fuera del cuerpo es; mas el que fornica, contra su propio cuerpo peca.
18 Fliehet der Hurerei! Alle Sünden, die der Mensch tut, sind außer seinem Leibe; wer aber hurt, der sündigt an seinem eigenen Leibe.
19 Or are you not conscious that your body is a house for the Holy Spirit which is in you, and which has been given to you by God? and you are not the owners of yourselves;
19 Ne savez-vous pas que votre corps est le temple du Saint Esprit qui est en vous, que vous avez reçu de Dieu, et que vous ne vous appartenez point à vous-mêmes?
19 Nach bhfuil a fhios agaibh gur teampall bhur gcorp ag an Spiorad Naomh atá istigh ionaibh mar bhronn Dia oraibh é? Ní libh féin sibh
19 ¿O ignoráis que vuestro cuerpo es templo del Espíritu Santo, el cual está en vosotros, el cual tenéis de Dios, y que no sois vuestros?
19 Oder wisset ihr nicht, daß euer Leib ein Tempel des heiligen Geistes ist, welchen ihr habt von Gott, und seid nicht euer selbst.
20 For a payment has been made for you: let God be honoured in your body.
20 Car vous avez été rachetés à un grand prix. Glorifiez donc Dieu dans votre corps et dans votre esprit, qui appartiennent à Dieu.
