1 So you have no reason, whoever you are, for judging: for in judging another you are judging yourself, for you do the same things.
1 O homme, qui que tu sois, toi qui juges, tu es donc inexcusable; car, en jugeant les autres, tu te condamnes toi-même, puisque toi qui juges, tu fais les mêmes choses.
1 Ar an ábhar sin níl aon leithscéal agatsa, a dhuine, is cuma cé tú, má thugann tú breith ar dhaoine eile, mar ag tabhairt breithe ar an bhfear thall duit, is tú féin atá do do dhaoradh agat, de bhrí go ndéanann tú féin, an breitheamh, na nithe céanna.
1 POR lo cual eres inexcusable, oh hombre, cuaquiera que juzgas: porque en lo que juzgas á otro, te condenas á ti mismo; porque lo mismo haces, tú que juzgas.
1 Darum, o Mensch, kannst du dich nicht entschuldigen, wer du auch bist, der da richtet. Denn worin du einen andern richtest, verdammst du dich selbst; sintemal du eben dasselbe tust, was du richtest.
2 And we are conscious that God is a true judge against those who do such things.
2 Nous savons, en effet, que le jugement de Dieu contre ceux qui commettent de telles choses est selon la vérité.
2 An breithiúnas, áfach, a thugann Dia ar dhaoine a dhéanann a leithéidí sin, tá a fhios againn go mbíonn sé de réir na fírinne.
2 Mas sabemos que el juicio de Dios es según verdad contra los que hacen tales cosas.
2 Denn wir wissen, daß Gottes Urteil ist recht über die, so solches tun.
3 But you who are judging another for doing what you do yourself, are you hoping that God's decision will not take effect against you?
3 Et penses-tu, ô homme, qui juges ceux qui commettent de telles choses, et qui les fais, que tu échapperas au jugement de Dieu?
3 Ach tusa, a dhuine, a bhíonn ag tabhairt breithe ar na daoine a dhéanann na nithe sin, an é a mheasann tú go n‑éalóidh tú ó bhreithiúnas Dé agus tú féin á ndéanamh chomh maith leo?
3 ¿Y piensas esto, oh hombre, que juzgas á los que hacen tales cosas, y haces las mismas, que tú escaparás del juicio de Dios.?
3 Denkst du aber, o Mensch, der du richtest die, die solches tun, und tust auch dasselbe, daß du dem Urteil Gottes entrinnen werdest?
4 Or is it nothing to you that God had pity on you, waiting and putting up with you for so long, not seeing that in his pity God's desire is to give you a change of heart?
4 Ou méprises-tu les richesses de sa bonté, de sa patience et de sa longanimité, ne reconnaissant pas que la bonté de Dieu te pousse à la repentance?
4 Nó an amhlaidh is beag ort saibhreas a chineáltais agus a fhoighne agus a fhadfhulaingthe? Nach bhfuil a fhios agat gur do do bhrostú chun aithrí atá cineáltas Dé?
4 ¿O menosprecias las riquezas de su benignidad, y fhfifhfi ignorando que su benignidad te guía á arrepentimiento?
4 Oder verachtest du den Reichtum seiner Güte, Geduld und Langmütigkeit? Weißt du nicht, daß dich Gottes Güte zur Buße leitet?
5 But by your hard and unchanged heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of the revelation of God's judging in righteousness;
5 Mais, par ton endurcissement et par ton coeur impénitent, tu t'amasses un trésor de colère pour le jour de la colère et de la manifestation du juste jugement de Dieu,
5 Ach de dheasca do chroí chrua neamhaithrigh tá tú ag taisceadh feirge duit féin le haghaidh lae úd na feirge nuair a fhoilseofar ceartbhreithiúnas Dé,
5 Mas por tu dureza, y por tu corazón no arrepentido, atesoras para ti mismo ira para el día de la ira y de la manifestación del justo juicio de Dios;
5 Du aber nach deinem verstockten und unbußfertigen Herzen häufest dir selbst den Zorn auf den Tag des Zornes und der Offenbarung des gerechten Gerichtes Gottes,
6 Who will give to every man his right reward:
6 qui rendra à chacun selon ses oeuvres;
6 a chúiteoidh le cách de réir a ghníomhartha.
6 El cual pagará á cada uno conforme á sus obras:
6 welcher geben wird einem jeglichen nach seinen Werken:
7 To those who go on with good works in the hope of glory and honour and salvation from death, he will give eternal life:
7 réservant la vie éternelle à ceux qui, par la persévérance à bien faire, cherchent l'honneur, la gloire et l'immortalité;
7 An mhuintir a mbíonn lorg acu ar ghlóir agus onóir agus marthanacht trí shíorleanúint den dea-obair, tabharfaidh sé dóibh beatha shíoraí;
7 A los que perseverando en bien hacer, buscan gloria y honra e inmortalidad, la vida eterna.
7 Preis und Ehre und unvergängliches Wesen denen, die mit Geduld in guten Werken trachten nach dem ewigen Leben;
8 But to those who, from a love of competition, are not guided by what is true, will come the heat of his wrath,
8 mais l'irritation et la colère à ceux qui, par esprit de dispute, sont rebelles à la vérité et obéissent à l'injustice.

9 Trouble and sorrow on all whose works are evil, to the Jew first and then to the Greek;
9 Tribulation et angoisse sur toute âme d'homme qui fait le mal, sur le Juif premièrement, puis sur le Grec!
9 Is ea, beidh ainnise agus anacair ar gach daonnaí a dhéanann an t‑olc, ar an nGiúdach ar dtús agus ar an nGréagach chomh maith.
9 Tribulación y angustia sobre toda persona humana que obra lo malo, el Judío primeramente, y también el Griego.
9 Trübsal und Angst über alle Seelen der Menschen, die da Böses tun, vornehmlich der Juden und auch der Griechen;
10 But glory and honour and peace to all whose works are good, to the Jew first and then to the Greek:
10 Gloire, honneur et paix pour quiconque fait le bien, pour le Juif premièrement, puis pour le Grec!
10 Ach glóir agus onóir agus síocháin a bheidh ag cách a dhéanann an mhaith, ag an nGiúdach ar dtús agus ag an nGréagach chomh maith,
10 Mas gloria y honra y paz á cualquiera que obra el bien, al Judío primeramente, y también al Griego.
10 Preis aber und Ehre und Friede allen denen, die da Gutes tun, vornehmlich den Juden und auch den Griechen.
11 For one man is not different from another before God.
11 Car devant Dieu il n'y a point d'acception de personnes.
11 mar ní thaobhaíonn Dia le daoine seachas a chéile.
11 Porque no hay acepción de personas para con Dios.
11 Denn es ist kein Ansehen der Person vor Gott.
12 All those who have done wrong without the law will get destruction without the law: and those who have done wrong under the law will have their punishment by the law;
12 Tous ceux qui ont péché sans la loi périront aussi sans la loi, et tous ceux qui ont péché avec la loi seront jugés par la loi.
12 Gach duine dá ndearna peaca gan bheith faoi réir an dlí caillfear é gan an dlí a chur san áireamh. Ach aon duine dá ndearna peaca agus é faoi réir an dlí, is de réir an dlí a thabharfar breith air.
12 Porque todos lo que sin ley pecaron, sin ley también perecerán; y todos los que en la ley pecaron, por la ley serán juzgados:
12 Welche ohne Gesetz gesündigt haben, die werden auch ohne Gesetz verloren werden; und welche unter dem Gesetz gesündigt haben, die werden durchs Gesetz verurteilt werden
13 For it is not the hearers of the law who will be judged as having righteousness before God, but only the doers:
13 Ce ne sont pas, en effet, ceux qui écoutent la loi qui sont justes devant Dieu, mais ce sont ceux qui la mettent en pratique qui seront justifiés.
13 Mar ní hiad na daoine a chloiseann an dlí atá fíréanta i bhfianaise Dé; ach lucht an dlí a choimeád a fhíréanófar.
13 Porque no los oidores de la ley son justos para con Dios, mas los hacedores de la ley serán justificados.
13 (sintemal vor Gott nicht, die das Gesetz hören, gerecht sind, sondern die das Gesetz tun, werden gerecht sein.
14 For when the Gentiles without the law have a natural desire to do the things in the law, they are a law to themselves;
14 Quand les païens, qui n'ont point la loi, font naturellement ce que prescrit la loi, ils sont, eux qui n'ont point la loi, une loi pour eux-mêmes;
14 Gintlithe nach bhfuil an dlí acu, gach uair dá gcomhlíonann siad forálacha an dlí ó nádúr is dlí dóibh féin iad ainneoin nach bhfuil an dlí acu.
14 Porque los Gentiles que no tienen ley, naturalmente haciendo lo que es de la ley, los tales, aunque no tengan ley, ellos son ley á sí mismos:
14 Denn so die Heiden, die das Gesetz nicht haben, doch von Natur tun des Gesetzes Werk, sind dieselben, dieweil sie das Gesetz nicht haben, sich selbst ein Gesetz,
15 Because the work of the law is seen in their hearts, their sense of right and wrong giving witness to it, while their minds are at one time judging them and at another giving them approval;
15 ils montrent que l'oeuvre de la loi est écrite dans leurs coeurs, leur conscience en rendant témoignage, et leurs pensées s'accusant ou se défendant tour à tour.
15 Taispeánann siad go bhfuil éirím an dlí greanta ar an gcroí. Agus mar fhianaise bhreise acu tá a gcoinsias féin agus a gcuid plé le chéile de réir mar bhíonn siad á chiontú seo nó á chosaint siúd.
15 Mostrando la obra de la ley escrita en sus corazones, dando testimonio juntamente sus conciencias, y acusándose y también excusándose sus pensamientos unos con otros;
15 als die da beweisen, des Gesetzes Werk sei geschrieben in ihren Herzen, sintemal ihr Gewissen ihnen zeugt, dazu auch die Gedanken, die sich untereinander verklagen oder entschuldigen),
16 In the day when God will be a judge of the secrets of men, as it says in the good news of which I am a preacher, through Jesus Christ.
16 C'est ce qui paraîtra au jour où, selon mon Évangile, Dieu jugera par Jésus Christ les actions secrètes des hommes.

16 auf den Tag, da Gott das Verborgene der Menschen durch Jesus Christus richten wird laut meines Evangeliums.
17 But as for you who have the name of Jew, and are resting on the law, and take pride in God,
17 Toi qui te donnes le nom de Juif, qui te reposes sur la loi, qui te glorifies de Dieu,
17 Má thugann tusa Giúdach ort féin; agus go bhfuil do sheasamh ar an dlí; agus tú muiníneach as Dia agus fios a thola agat;
17 He aquí, tú tienes el sobrenombre de Judío, y estás reposado en la ley, y te glorías en Dios,
17 Siehe aber zu: du heißest ein Jude und verlässest dich aufs Gesetz und rühmest dich Gottes
18 And have knowledge of his desires, and are a judge of the things which are different, having the learning of the law,
18 qui connais sa volonté, qui apprécies la différence des choses, étant instruit par la loi;
18 agus, de bhrí go mbíonn tú do do theagasc ag an dlí, go n‑aithníonn tú na nithe is fiúntaí;
18 Y sabes su voluntad, y apruebas lo mejor, instruído por la ley;
18 und weißt seinen Willen; und weil du aus dem Gesetz unterrichtet bist, prüfest du, was das Beste zu tun sei,
19 In the belief that you are a guide to the blind, a light to those in the dark,
19 toi qui te flattes d'être le conducteur des aveugles, la lumière de ceux qui sont dans les ténèbres,
19 má tá tú cinnte de, mar sin, gur giolla do na daill tú agus solas don mhuintir atá sa dorchadas,
19 Y confías que eres guía de los ciegos, luz de los que están en tinieblas,
19 und vermissest dich, zu sein ein Leiter der Blinden, ein Licht derer, die in Finsternis sind,
20 A teacher of the foolish, having in the law the form of knowledge and of what is true;
20 le docteur des insensés, le maître des ignorants, parce que tu as dans la loi la règle de la science et de la vérité;
20 gur tú oide na n‑ainbhiosán agus muinteoir na naíonán mar go bhfuil corp an eolais agus na fírinne agat sa dlí -
20 Enseñador de los que no saben, maestro de niños, que tienes la forma de la ciencia y de la verdad en la ley:
20 ein Züchtiger der Törichten, ein Lehrer der Einfältigen, hast die Form, was zu wissen und recht ist, im Gesetz.
21 You who give teaching to others, do you give it to yourself? you who say that a man may not take what is not his, do you take what is not yours?
21 toi donc, qui enseignes les autres, tu ne t'enseignes pas toi-même! Toi qui prêches de ne pas dérober, tu dérobes!
21 tusa, más ea, a bhíonn ag múineadh an fhir thall, nach múinfeá thú féin? Bíonn tú ag fógairt gan goid a dhéanamh, ach an mbíonn tú féin ag goid?
21 Tú pues, que enseñas á otro, ¿no te enseñas á ti mismo? ¿Tú, que predicas que no se ha de hurtar, hurtas?
21 Nun lehrst du andere, und lehrst dich selber nicht; du predigst, man solle nicht stehlen, und du stiehlst;
22 You who say that a man may not be untrue to his wife, are you true to yours? you who are a hater of images, do you do wrong to the house of God?
22 Toi qui dis de ne pas commettre d'adultère, tu commets l'adultère! Toi qui as en abomination les idoles, tu commets des sacrilèges!
22 Bíonn tú á rá gan adhaltranas a dhéanamh, ach an ndéanann tú féin adhaltranas? Is fuath leat na híola, ach an gcreachann tú a dteampaill?
22 ¿Tú, que dices que no se ha de adulterar, adulteras? ¿Tú, que abominas los ídolos, cometes sacrilegio?
22 du sprichst man solle nicht ehebrechen, und du brichst die Ehe; dir greuelt vor den Götzen, und du raubest Gott, was sein ist;
23 You who take pride in the law, are you doing wrong to the honour of God by behaviour which is against the law?
23 Toi qui te fais une gloire de la loi, tu déshonores Dieu par la transgression de la loi!

23 ¿Tú, que te jactas de la ley, con infracción de la ley deshonras á Dios?
23 du rühmst dich des Gesetzes, und schändest Gott durch Übertretung des Gesetzes;
24 For the name of God is shamed among the Gentiles because of you, as it is said in the holy Writings.
24 Car le nom de Dieu est à cause de vous blasphémé parmi les païens, comme cela est écrit.
24 Mar de réir an scrioptúir: “Is sibhse faoi deara ainm Dé a bheith á mhaslú i measc na ngintlithe.”
24 Porque el nombre de Dios es blasfemado por causa de vosotros entre los Gentiles, como está esctrito.
24 denn "eurethalben wird Gottes Name gelästert unter den Heiden", wie geschrieben steht.
25 It is true that circumcision is of use if you keep the law, but if you go against the law it is as if you had it not.
25 La circoncision est utile, si tu mets en pratique la loi; mais si tu transgresses la loi, ta circoncision devient incirconcision.

25 Porque la circuncisión en verdad aprovecha, si guardares la ley; mas si eres rebelde á la ley, tu circuncisión es hecha incircuncisión.
25 Die Beschneidung ist wohl nütz, wenn du das Gesetz hältst; hältst du das Gesetz aber nicht, so bist du aus einem Beschnittenen schon ein Unbeschnittener geworden.
26 If those who have not circumcision keep the rules of the law, will it not be credited to them as circumcision?
26 Si donc l'incirconcis observe les ordonnances de la loi, son incirconcision ne sera-t-elle pas tenue pour circoncision?
26 Ar an taobh eile de, an fear nach bhfuil timpeallghearrtha ach a choimeádann reachtanna an dlí, nach n‑áireofar é siúd nach bhfuil timpeallghearrtha mar dhuine atá?
26 De manera que, si el incircunciso guardare las justicias de la ley, ¿no será tenida su incircuncisión por circuncisión?
26 So nun der Unbeschnittene das Gesetz hält, meinst du nicht, daß da der Unbeschnittene werde für einen Beschnittenen gerechnet?
27 And they, by their keeping of the law without circumcision, will be judges of you, by whom the law is broken though you have the letter of the law and circumcision.
27 L'incirconcis de nature, qui accomplit la loi, ne te condamnera-t-il pas, toi qui la transgresses, tout en ayant la lettre de la loi et la circoncision?
27 Go deimhin an té atá gan timpeallghearradh na colainne, má chomhlíonann sé an dlí tabharfaidh sé daorbhreith ortsa a bhíonn ag sárú an dlí d'ainneoin cód scríofa agus timpeallghearradh a bheith agat.
27 Y lo que de su natural es incircunciso, guardando perfectamente la ley, te juzgará á ti, que con la letra y con la circuncisión eres rebelde á la ley.
27 Und wird also, der von Natur unbeschnitten ist und das Gesetz vollbringt, dich richten, der du unter dem Buchstaben und der Beschneidung bist und das Gesetz übertrittst.
28 The true Jew is not one who is only so publicly, and circumcision is not that which may be seen in the flesh:
28 Le Juif, ce n'est pas celui qui en a les dehors; et la circoncision, ce n'est pas celle qui est visible dans la chair.
28 Mar ní fíorGhiúdach an té atá ina Ghiúdach ar an taobh amuigh, ná ní fíorthimpeallghearradh an marc lasmuigh ar an gcolainn.
28 Porque no es Judío el que lo es en manifiesto; ni la circuncisión es la que es en manifiesto en la carne:
28 Denn das ist nicht ein Jude, der auswendig ein Jude ist, auch ist das nicht eine Beschneidung, die auswendig am Fleisch geschieht;
29 But he is a Jew who is a secret one, whose circumcision is of the heart, in the spirit and not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.
29 Mais le Juif, c'est celui qui l'est intérieurement; et la circoncision, c'est celle du coeur, selon l'esprit et non selon la lettre. La louange de ce Juif ne vient pas des hommes, mais de Dieu.
