1 Now the Apostles and the brothers who were in Judaea had news that the word of God had been given to the Gentiles.
1 Les apôtres et les frères qui étaient dans la Judée apprirent que les païens avaient aussi reçu la parole de Dieu.

2 And when Peter came to Jerusalem, those who kept the rule of circumcision had an argument with him,

3 Saying, You went to men without circumcision, and took food with them.
3 en disant: Tu es entré chez des incirconcis, et tu as mangé avec eux.

4 But Peter gave them an account of it all in order, saying to them,

5 Il dit: J'étais dans la ville de Joppé, et, pendant que je priais, je tombai en extase et j'eus une vision: un objet, semblable à une grande nappe attachée par les quatre coins, descendait du ciel et vint jusqu'à moi.

5 Estaba yo en la ciudad de Joppe orando, y vi en rapto de entendimiento una visión: un vaso, como un gran lienzo, que descendía, que por los cuatro cabos era abajado del cielo, y venía hasta mí.
5 Ich war in der Stadt Joppe im Gebete und war entzückt und sah ein Gesicht, nämlich ein Gefäß herniederfahren, wie ein großes leinenes Tuch mit vier Zipfeln, und niedergelassen vom Himmel, das kam bis zu mir.
6 And looking on it with attention I saw in it all sorts of beasts and birds.
6 Les regards fixés sur cette nappe, j'examinai, et je vis les quadrupèdes de la terre, les bêtes sauvages, les reptiles, et les oiseaux du ciel.

7 And a voice came to my ears saying, Come, Peter; take them for food.
7 Et j'entendis une voix qui me disait: Lève-toi, Pierre, tue et mange.

7 Y oí una voz que me decía: Levántate, Pedro, mata y come.
7 Ich hörte aber eine Stimme, die sprach zu mir: Stehe auf, Petrus, schlachte und iß!
8 But I said, No, Lord; for nothing common or unclean has ever come into my mouth.
8 Mais je dis: Non, Seigneur, car jamais rien de souillé ni d'impur n'est entré dans ma bouche.

9 But the voice, coming a second time from heaven, said, What God has made clean, do not you make common.
9 Et pour la seconde fois la voix se fit entendre du ciel: Ce que Dieu a déclaré pur, ne le regarde pas comme souillé.

10 And this was done three times, and they were all taken up again into heaven.

11 And at that minute, three men, sent from Caesarea, came to the house where we were.
11 Et voici, aussitôt trois hommes envoyés de Césarée vers moi se présentèrent devant la porte de la maison où j'étais.

12 And the Spirit gave me orders to go with them, doubting nothing. And these six brothers came with me; and we went into that man's house:

13 And he gave us an account of how he had seen the angel in his house, saying, Send to Joppa, and get Simon, named Peter, to come to you;

13 El cual nos contó cómo había visto un ángel en su casa, que se paró, y le dijo: Envía á Joppe, y haz venir á un Simón que tiene por sobrenombre Pedro;
13 Und er verkündigte uns, wie er gesehen hätte einen Engel in seinem Hause stehen, der zu ihm gesprochen hätte: Sende Männer gen Joppe und laß fordern den Simon, mit dem Zunamen Petrus;
14 Who will say words to you through which you and all your family may get salvation.

15 And, while I was talking to them, the Holy Spirit came on them, as on us at first.
15 Lorsque je me fus mis à parler, le Saint Esprit descendit sur eux, comme sur nous au commencement.

16 And the words of the Lord came into my mind, how he said, The baptism of John was with water, but you will have baptism with the Holy Spirit.

16 Da dachte ich an das Wort des HERRN, als er sagte: "Johannes hat mit Wasser getauft; ihr aber sollt mit dem heiligen Geist getauft werden."
17 If then God gave them, when they had faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the same as he gave to us, who was I to go against God?
17 Or, puisque Dieu leur a accordé le même don qu'à nous qui avons cru au Seigneur Jésus Christ, pouvais-je, moi, m'opposer à Dieu?

17 Así que, si Dios les dió el mismo don también como á nosotros que hemos creído en el Señor Jesucristo, ¿quién era yo que pudiese estorbar á Dios?
17 So nun Gott ihnen die gleiche Gabe gegeben hat wie auch uns, die da glauben an den HERRN Jesus Christus: wer war ich, daß ich konnte Gott wehren?
18 And hearing these things they said nothing more, but gave glory to God, saying, Then to the Gentiles as to us has God given a change of heart, so that they may have life.
18 Après avoir entendu cela, ils se calmèrent, et ils glorifièrent Dieu, en disant: Dieu a donc accordé la repentance aussi aux païens, afin qu'ils aient la vie.
18 Nuair a chuala siad an méid sin, d'éist siad agus thug glóir do Dhia á rá: “Thug Dia, más ea, aithrí chun na beatha do na Gintlithe chomh maith.” Eaglais Aintíoch
18 Entonces, oídas estas cosas, callaron, y glorificaron á Dios, diciendo: De manera que también á los Gentiles ha dado Dios arrepentimiento para vida.
18 Da sie das hörten schwiegen sie still und lobten Gott und sprachen: So hat Gott auch den Heiden Buße gegeben zum Leben!
19 Then those who had gone away at the time of the trouble about Stephen, went as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus, preaching to the Jews only.
19 Ceux qui avaient été dispersés par la persécution survenue à l'occasion d'Étienne allèrent jusqu'en Phénicie, dans l'île de Chypre, et à Antioche, annonçant la parole seulement aux Juifs.
19 An mhuintir úd a scaipeadh ag an ngéarleanúint a tharla mar gheall ar Stiofán, ghluais siad rompu chomh fada le Féinice agus leis an gCipir agus le hAintíoch. Níor fhógair siad an briathar, áfach, ach do na Giúdaigh amháin.
19 Y los que habían sido esparcidos por causa de la tribulación que sobrevino en tiempo de Esteban, anduvieron hasta Fenicia, y Cipro, y Antioquía, no hablando á nadie la palabra, sino sólo á los Judíos.
19 Die aber zerstreut waren in der Trübsal, so sich über Stephanus erhob, gingen umher bis gen Phönizien und Zypern und Antiochien und redeten das Wort zu niemand denn allein zu den Juden.
20 But some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, when they came to Antioch, gave the good news about the Lord Jesus to the Greeks.
20 Il y eut cependant parmi eux quelques hommes de Chypre et de Cyrène, qui, étant venus à Antioche, s'adressèrent aussi aux Grecs, et leur annoncèrent la bonne nouvelle du Seigneur Jésus.
20 Ach bhí daoine áirithe orthu - Ciprigh agus Cuiréanaigh ba ea iad - agus nuair a bhain siad Aintíoch amach thosaigh siad ag caint leis na Gréagaigh chomh maith agus ag fógairt dea-scéal an Tiarna Íosa dóibh.
20 Y de ellos había unos varones Ciprios y Cirenences, los cuales como entraron en Antioquía, hablaron á los Griegos, anunciando el evangelio del Señor Jesús.
20 Es waren aber etliche unter ihnen, Männer von Zypern und Kyrene, die kamen gen Antiochien und redeten auch zu den Griechen und predigten das Evangelium vom HERRN Jesus.
21 And the power of the Lord was with them, and a great number had faith and were turned to the Lord.
21 La main du Seigneur était avec eux, et un grand nombre de personnes crurent et se convertirent au Seigneur.

22 And news of them came to the ears of the church at Jerusalem: and they sent Barnabas as far as Antioch:
22 Le bruit en parvint aux oreilles des membres de l'Église de Jérusalem, et ils envoyèrent Barnabas jusqu'à Antioche.
22 Tháinig scéala fúthu go dtí an Eaglais in Iarúsailéim agus sheol siad Barnabas go hAintíoch.
22 Y llegó la fama de estas cosas á oídos de la iglesia que estaba en Jerusalem: y enviaron á Bernabé que fuese hasta Antioquía.
22 Es kam aber diese Rede von ihnen vor die Ohren der Gemeinde zu Jerusalem; und sie sandten Barnabas, daß er hinginge bis gen Antiochien.
23 Who, when he came and saw the grace of God, was glad; and he made clear to them the need of keeping near the Lord with all the strength of their hearts:
23 Lorsqu'il fut arrivé, et qu'il eut vu la grâce de Dieu, il s'en réjouit, et il les exhorta tous à rester d'un coeur ferme attachés au Seigneur.

23 El cual, como llegó, y vió la gracia de Dios, regocijóse; y exhortó á todos á que permaneciesen en el propósito del corazón en el Señor.
23 Dieser, da er hingekommen war und sah die Gnade Gottes, ward er froh und ermahnte sie alle, daß sie mit festem Herzen an dem HERRN bleiben wollten.
24 For he was a good man and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith: and a great number were joined to the Lord.
24 Car c'était un homme de bien, plein d'Esprit Saint et de foi. Et une foule assez nombreuse se joignit au Seigneur.

24 Porque era varón bueno, y lleno de Espíritu Santo y de fe: y mucha compañía fué agregada al Señor.
24 Denn er war ein frommer Mann, voll heiligen Geistes und Glaubens. Und es ward ein großes Volk dem HERRN zugetan.
25 Then he went on to Tarsus, looking for Saul;
25 Barnabas se rendit ensuite à Tarse, pour chercher Saul;

25 Después partió Bernabé á Tarso á buscar á Saulo; y hallado, le trajo á Antioquía.

26 And when he had come across him, he took him to Antioch. And they were with the church there for a year, teaching the people; and the disciples were first given the name of Christians in Antioch.
26 et, l'ayant trouvé, il l'amena à Antioche. Pendant toute une année, ils se réunirent aux assemblées de l'Église, et ils enseignèrent beaucoup de personnes. Ce fut à Antioche que, pour la première fois, les disciples furent appelés chrétiens.

26 Y conversaron todo un año allí con la iglesia, y enseñaron á mucha gente; y los discípulos fueron llamados Cristianos primeramente en Antioquía.
26 und da er ihn fand, führte er ihn gen Antiochien. Und sie blieben bei der Gemeinde ein ganzes Jahr und lehrten viel Volks; daher die Jünger am ersten zu Antiochien Christen genannt wurden.
27 Now in those days prophets came from Jerusalem to Antioch.
27 En ce temps-là, des prophètes descendirent de Jérusalem à Antioche.

27 Y en aquellos días descendieron de Jerusalem profetas á Antioquía.
27 In diesen Tagen kamen Propheten von Jerusalem gen Antiochien.
28 And one of them, named Agabus, said publicly through the Spirit that there would be serious need of food all over the earth: which came about in the time of Claudius.
28 L'un deux, nommé Agabus, se leva, et annonça par l'Esprit qu'il y aurait une grande famine sur toute la terre. Elle arriva, en effet, sous Claude.

28 Y levantándose uno de ellos, llamado Agabo, daba á entender por Espíritu, que había de haber una grande hambre en toda la tierra habitada: la cual hubo en tiempo de Claudio.
28 Und einer unter ihnen mit Namen Agabus stand auf und deutete durch den Geist eine große Teuerung, die da kommen sollte über den ganzen Kreis der Erde; welche geschah unter dem Kaiser Klaudius.
29 And the disciples, everyone as he was able, made a decision to send help to the brothers living in Judaea:
29 Les disciples résolurent d'envoyer, chacun selon ses moyens, un secours aux frères qui habitaient la Judée.

29 Entonces los discípulos, cada uno conforme á lo que tenía, determinaron enviar subsidio á los hermanos que habitaban en Judea:
29 Aber unter den Jüngern beschloß ein jeglicher, nach dem er vermochte, zu senden eine Handreichung den Brüdern, die in Judäa wohnten;
30 Which they did, sending it to the rulers of the church by the hand of Barnabas and Saul.
30 Ils le firent parvenir aux anciens par les mains de Barnabas et de Saul.
