1 For the kingdom of heaven is like the master of a house, who went out early in the morning to get workers into his vine-garden.

2 And when he had made an agreement with the workmen for a penny a day, he sent them into his vine-garden.

3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others in the market-place doing nothing;

4 And he said to them, Go into the vine-garden with the others, and whatever is right I will give you. And they went to work.
4 Il leur dit: Allez aussi à ma vigne, et je vous donnerai ce qui sera raisonnable.

5 Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did the same.
5 Et ils y allèrent. Il sortit de nouveau vers la sixième heure et vers la neuvième, et il fit de même.

6 And about the eleventh hour he went out and saw others doing nothing; and he says to them, Why are you here all the day doing nothing?
6 Étant sorti vers la onzième heure, il en trouva d'autres qui étaient sur la place, et il leur dit: Pourquoi vous tenez-vous ici toute la journée sans rien faire?
6 Ach nuair a chuaigh sé amach timpeall an aonú huair déag, fuair sé tuilleadh acu ann agus dúirt leo: ‘Cad a d'fhág anseo ar feadh an lae sibh agus sibh díomhaoin?’
6 Y saliendo cerca de la hora undécima, halló otros que estaban ociosos; y díceles: ¿Por qué estáis aquí todo el día ociosos?
6 Um die elfte Stunde aber ging er aus und fand andere müßig stehen und sprach zu ihnen: Was steht ihr hier den ganzen Tag müßig?
7 They say to him, Because no man has given us work. He says to them, Go in with the rest, into the vine-garden.
7 Ils lui répondirent: C'est que personne ne nous a loués. Allez aussi à ma vigne, leur dit-il.

7 Sie sprachen zu ihm: Es hat uns niemand gedingt. Er sprach zu ihnen: Gehet ihr auch hin in den Weinberg, und was recht sein wird, soll euch werden.
8 And when evening came, the lord of the vine-garden said to his manager, Let the workers come, and give them their payment, from the last to the first.
8 Quand le soir fut venu, le maître de la vigne dit à son intendant: Appelle les ouvriers, et paie-leur le salaire, en allant des derniers aux premiers.
8 Nuair a bhí an tráthnóna ann, dúirt úinéir an fhíonghoirt leis an mbainisteoir: ‘Glaoigh ar na fir oibre agus tabhair dóibh a dtuarastal, siar ón dream déanach go dtí an dream is túisce a tháinig.’
8 Y cuando fué la tarde del día, el señor de la viña dijo á su mayordomo: Llama á los obreros y págales el jornal, comenzando desde los postreros hasta los primeros.
8 Da es nun Abend ward, sprach der Herr des Weinberges zu seinem Schaffner: Rufe die Arbeiter und gib ihnen den Lohn und heb an an den Letzten bis zu den Ersten.
9 And when those men came who had gone to work at the eleventh hour, they were given every man a penny.
9 Ceux de la onzième heure vinrent, et reçurent chacun un denier.
9 Nuair a tháinig muintir an aonú huair déag, fuair siad déanar an duine.
9 Y viniendo los que habían ido cerca de la hora undécima, recibieron cada uno un denario.
9 Da kamen, die um die elfte Stunde gedingt waren, und empfing ein jeglicher seinen Groschen.
10 Then those who came first had the idea that they would get more; and they, like the rest, were given a penny.
10 Les premiers vinrent ensuite, croyant recevoir davantage; mais ils reçurent aussi chacun un denier.
10 Agus shíl an chéad dream nuair a tháinig siad go bhfaighidís níos mó. Ach is déanar an duine a fuair siad sin féin.
10 Y viniendo también los primeros, pensaron que habían de recibir más; pero también ellos recibieron cada uno un denario.
10 Da aber die ersten kamen, meinten sie, sie würden mehr empfangen; und sie empfingen auch ein jeglicher seinen Groschen.
11 And when they got it, they made a protest against the master of the house,
11 En le recevant, ils murmurèrent contre le maître de la maison,

11 Und da sie den empfingen, murrten sie wider den Hausvater
12 Saying, These last have done only one hour's work, and you have made them equal to us, who have undergone the hard work of the day and the burning heat.
12 et dirent: Ces derniers n'ont travaillé qu'une heure, et tu les traites à l'égal de nous, qui avons supporté la fatigue du jour et la chaleur.
12 ‘An dream déanach seo,’ deiridís, ‘níor thug siad ach an t‑aon uair amháin, agus chuir tú ar aon dul iad féin agus sinne a d'fhulaing ualach an lae agus an brothall.’
12 Diciendo: Estos postreros sólo han trabajado una hora, y los has hecho iguales á nosotros, que hemos llevado la carga y el calor del día.
12 und sprachen: Diese haben nur eine Stunde gearbeitet, und du hast sie uns gleich gemacht, die wir des Tages Last und die Hitze getragen haben.
13 But he in answer said to one of them, Friend, I do you no wrong: did you not make an agreement with me for a penny?
13 Il répondit à l'un d'eux: Mon ami, je ne te fais pas tort; n'es-tu pas convenu avec moi d'un denier?
13 D'fhreagair sé duine acu á rá: ‘Nílim ag déanamh aon éagóra ort, a chara: nach ar dhéanar a réitigh tú liom?
13 Y él respondiendo, dijo á uno de ellos: Amigo, no te hago agravio; ¿no te concertaste conmigo por un denario?
13 Er antwortete aber und sagte zu einem unter ihnen: Mein Freund, ich tue dir nicht Unrecht. Bist du nicht mit mir eins geworden für einen Groschen?
14 Take what is yours, and go away; it is my pleasure to give to this last, even as to you.
14 Prends ce qui te revient, et va-t'en. Je veux donner à ce dernier autant qu'à toi.

17 And when Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples on one side, and said to them,

18 See, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man will be given into the hands of the chief priests and scribes; and they will give orders for him to be put to death,
18 Voici, nous montons à Jérusalem, et le Fils de l'homme sera livré aux principaux sacrificateurs et aux scribes. Ils le condamneront à mort,

19 And will give him up to the Gentiles to be made sport of and to be whipped and to be put to death on the cross: and the third day he will come back again from the dead.
19 et ils le livreront aux païens, pour qu'ils se moquent de lui, le battent de verges, et le crucifient; et le troisième jour il ressuscitera.
19 agus tabharfaidh siad ar láimh do na gintlithe é chun go ndéanfaí fonóid faoi agus go sciúrsálfaí é agus go gcéasfaí é, agus eireoidh sé an treas lá.” Achainí Mháthair Chlann Zeibidé
19 Y le entregarán á los Gentiles para que le escarnezcan, y azoten, y crucifiquen; mas al tercer día resucitará.
19 und werden ihn überantworten den Heiden, zu verspotten und zu geißeln und zu kreuzigen; und am dritten Tage wird er wieder auferstehen.
20 Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to him with her sons, giving him worship and making a request of him.
20 Alors la mère des fils de Zébédée s'approcha de Jésus avec ses fils, et se prosterna, pour lui faire une demande.

20 Da trat zu ihm die Mutter der Kinder des Zebedäus mit ihren Söhnen, fiel vor ihm nieder und bat etwas von ihm.
21 And he said to her, What is your desire? She says to him, Let my two sons be seated, the one at your right hand, and the other at your left, in your kingdom.
21 Il lui dit: Que veux-tu? Ordonne, lui dit-elle, que mes deux fils, que voici, soient assis, dans ton royaume, l'un à ta droite et l'autre à ta gauche.
21 Dúirt sé léi: “Cad ab áil leat?” “Tá,” ar sise leis, “an bheirt mhac seo agamsa, go n‑ordófá iad a bheith ina suí, duine acu ar do dheis agus an duine eile ar do chlé, i do ríocht.”
21 Y él le dijo: ¿Qué quieres? Ella le dijo: Di que se sienten estos dos hijos míos, el uno á tu mano derecha, y el otro á tu izquierda, en tu reino.
21 Und er sprach zu ihr: Was willst du? Sie sprach zu ihm: Laß diese meine zwei Söhne sitzen in deinem Reich, einen zu deiner Rechten und den andern zu deiner Linken.
22 But Jesus made answer and said, You have no idea what you are requesting. Are you able to take of the cup which I am about to take?
22 Jésus répondit: Vous ne savez ce que vous demandez. Pouvez-vous boire la coupe que je dois boire? Nous le pouvons, dirent-ils.
22 D'fhreagair Íosa: “Níl a fhios agaibh cad atá sibh a iarraidh,” ar seisean. “An bhféadann sibh an cupa a ól atá le hól agamsa?” Dúirt siad leis: “Féadaimid.”
22 Entonces Jesús respondiendo, dijo: No sabéis lo que pedís: ¿podéis beber el vaso que yo he de beber, y ser bautizados del bautismo de que yo soy bautizado? Y ellos le dicen: Podemos.
22 Aber Jesus antwortete und sprach: Ihr wisset nicht, was ihr bittet. Könnt ihr den Kelch trinken, den ich trinken werde, und euch taufen lassen mit der Taufe, mit der ich getauft werde? Sie sprachen zu ihm: Jawohl.
23 They say to him, We are able. He says to them, Truly, you will take of my cup: but to be seated at my right hand and at my left is not for me to give, but it is for those for whom my Father has made it ready.
23 Et il leur répondit: Il est vrai que vous boirez ma coupe; mais pour ce qui est d'être assis à ma droite et à ma gauche, cela ne dépend pas de moi, et ne sera donné qu'à ceux à qui mon Père l'a réservé.
23 Dúirt sé leo: “Ólfaidh sibh go deimhin as mo chupa, ach maidir le suí ar mo dheis nó ar mo chlé, ní agamsa atá é sin a thabhairt ach is dóibh siúd é dá bhfuil sé i ndán ag m'Athair.”
23 Y él les dice: A la verdad mi vaso beberéis, y del bautismo de que yo soy bautizado, seréis bautizados; mas el sentaros á mi mano derecha y á mi izquierda, no es mío dar lo, sino á aquellos para quienes está aparejado de mi Padre.
23 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Meinen Kelch sollt ihr zwar trinken, und mit der Taufe, mit der ich getauft werde, sollt ihr getauft werden; aber das sitzen zu meiner Rechten und Linken zu geben steht mir nicht zu, sondern denen es bereitet ist von meinem Vater.
24 And when it came to the ears of the ten, they were angry with the two brothers.
24 Les dix, ayant entendu cela, furent indignés contre les deux frères.

25 But Jesus said to them, You see that the rulers of the Gentiles are lords over them, and their great ones have authority over them.
25 Jésus les appela, et dit: Vous savez que les chefs des nations les tyrannisent, et que les grands les asservissent.

25 Entonces Jesús llamándolos, dijo: Sabéis que los príncipes de los Gentiles se enseñorean sobre ellos, y los que son grandes ejercen sobre ellos potestad.
25 Aber Jesus rief sie zu sich und sprach: Ihr wisset, daß die weltlichen Fürsten herrschen und die Obersten haben Gewalt.
26 Let it not be so among you: but if anyone has a desire to become great among you, let him be your servant;
26 Il n'en sera pas de même au milieu de vous. Mais quiconque veut être grand parmi vous, qu'il soit votre serviteur;

27 And whoever has a desire to be first among you, let him take the lowest place:

28 Even as the Son of man did not come to have servants, but to be a servant, and to give his life for the salvation of men.
28 C'est ainsi que le Fils de l'homme est venu, non pour être servi, mais pour servir et donner sa vie comme la rançon de plusieurs.

28 gleichwie des Menschen Sohn ist nicht gekommen, daß er sich dienen lasse, sondern daß er diene und gebe sein Leben zu einer Erlösung für viele.
29 And when they were going out from Jericho, a great number went after him.
29 Lorsqu'ils sortirent de Jéricho, une grande foule suivit Jésus.

30 And two blind men seated by the wayside, when they had the news that Jesus was going by, gave a loud cry, saying, Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us.
30 Et voici, deux aveugles, assis au bord du chemin, entendirent que Jésus passait, et crièrent: Aie pitié de nous, Seigneur, Fils de David!
30 agus bhí an bheirt dhall seo ina suí le hais an bhóthair. Nuair a chuala siad go raibh Íosa ag dul thar bráid, scread siad amach: “A Thiarna, déan trócaire orainn, a Mhic Dháiví!”
30 Y he aquí dos ciegos sentados junto al camino, como oyeron que Jesús pasaba, clamaron, diciendo: Señor, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de nosotros.
30 Und siehe, zwei Blinde saßen am Wege; und da sie hörten, daß Jesus vorüberging, schrieen sie und sprachen: Ach HERR, du Sohn Davids, erbarme dich unser!
31 And the people gave them orders to be quiet; but they went on crying even louder, Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us.
31 La foule les reprenait, pour les faire taire; mais ils crièrent plus fort: Aie pitié de nous, Seigneur, Fils de David!
31 Bhagair an slua orthu bheith ina dtost, ach is ea ba mhó a scread siad: “A Thiarna, déan trócaire orainn, a Mhic Dháiví!”
31 Y la gente les reñía para que callasen; mas ellos clamaban más, diciendo: Señor, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de nosotros.
31 Aber das Volk bedrohte sie, daß sie schweigen sollten. Aber sie schrieen viel mehr und sprachen: Ach HERR, du Sohn Davids, erbarme dich unser!
32 And Jesus, stopping, sent for them, and said, What would you have me do to you?
32 Jésus s'arrêta, les appela, et dit: Que voulez-vous que je vous fasse?
32 Stad Íosa dá shiúl, ghair sé iad agus dúirt: “Cad ab áil libh mé a dhéanamh daoibh?”
32 Y parándose Jesús, los llamó, y dijo: ¿Qué queréis que haga por vosotros?
32 Jesus aber stand still und rief sie und sprach: Was wollt ihr, daß ich euch tun soll?
33 They say to him, Lord, that our eyes may be open.
33 Ils lui dirent: Seigneur, que nos yeux s'ouvrent.
33 Dúirt siad leis: “Ár súile a oscailt dúinn, a Thiarna!”
33 Ellos le dicen: Señor, que sean abiertos nuestros ojos.
33 Sie sprachen zu ihm: HERR, daß unsere Augen aufgetan werden.
34 And Jesus, being moved with pity, put his fingers on their eyes: and straight away they were able to see, and went after him.
34 Ému de compassion, Jésus toucha leurs yeux; et aussitôt ils recouvrèrent la vue, et le suivirent.
