1 A word of the Lord: The Lord has come to the land of Hadrach, and Damascus is his resting-place: for the towns of Aram are the Lord's,

1 CARGA de la palabra de Jehová contra tierra de Hadrach, y de Damasco su reposo: porque á Jehová están vueltos los ojos de los hombres, y de todas las tribus de Israel.
1 Dies ist die Last, davon der HERR redet über das Land Hadrach und die sich niederläßt auf Damaskus (denn der HERR schaut auf die Menschen und auf alle Stämme Israels);
2 As well as Hamath, which is by its limit, and Tyre and Zidon, because they are very wise.
2 Elle s'arrête aussi sur Hamath, à la frontière de Damas, Sur Tyr et Sidon, malgré toute leur sagesse.

2 Y también Hamath tendrá término en ella; Tiro y Sidón, aunque muy sabia sea.

7 Und ich will ihr Blut von ihrem Munde tun und ihre Greuel von ihren Zähnen, daß sie auch sollen unserm Gott übrigbleiben, daß sie werden wie Fürsten in Juda und Ekron wie die Jebusiter.
8 And I will put my forces in position round my house, so that there may be no coming and going: and no cruel master will again go through them: for now I have seen his trouble.

9 Be full of joy, O daughter of Zion; give a glad cry, O daughter of Jerusalem: see, your king comes to you: he is upright and has overcome; gentle and seated on an ass, on a young ass.
9 Sois transportée d'allégresse, fille de Sion! Pousse des cris de joie, fille de Jérusalem! Voici, ton roi vient à toi; Il est juste et victorieux, Il est humble et monté sur un âne, Sur un âne, le petit d'une ânesse.

10 Je détruirai les chars d'Éphraïm, Et les chevaux de Jérusalem; Et les arcs de guerre seront anéantis. Il annoncera la paix aux nations, Et il dominera d'une mer à l'autre, Depuis le fleuve jusqu'aux extrémités de la terre.

11 And as for you, because of the blood of your agreement, I have sent out your prisoners from the deep hole in which there is no water.
11 Et pour toi, à cause de ton alliance scellée par le sang, Je retirerai tes captifs de la fosse où il n'y a pas d'eau.

13 For I have made Judah a bow bent for my use, I have made Ephraim the arrows of the bow; I will make your sons, O Zion, take up arms against your sons, O Greece, and will make you like the sword of a man of war.
13 Car je bande Juda comme un arc, Je m'arme d'Éphraïm comme d'un arc, Et je soulèverai tes enfants, ô Sion, Contre tes enfants, ô Javan! Je te rendrai pareille à l'épée d'un vaillant homme.

14 And the Lord will be seen over them, and his arrow will go out like the thunder-flame: and the Lord God, sounding the war-horn, will go in the storm-winds of the South.

15 The Lord of armies will be a cover for them; and they will overcome, crushing under foot the armed men; they will take their blood for drink like wine: they will be full like the sides of the altar.
15 L'Éternel des armées les protégera; Ils dévoreront, ils vaincront les pierres de la fronde; Ils boiront, ils seront bruyants comme pris de vin; Ils seront pleins comme une coupe, Comme les coins de l'autel.

15 Jehová de los ejércitos los amparará, y ellos devorarán, y sujetarán á las piedras de la honda, y beberán y harán estrépido como tomados del vino; y se llenarán como cuenco, ó como los lados del altar.
15 Der HERR Zebaoth wird sie schützen, daß sie um sich fressen und unter sich treten die Schleudersteine, daß sie trinken und lärmen wie vom Wein und voll werden wie das Becken und wie die Ecken des Altars.
16 And the Lord their God will be their saviour in that day, giving them food like the flock of his people: for they will be like the jewels of a crown shining over his land.
16 L'Éternel, leur Dieu, les sauvera en ce jour-là, Comme le troupeau de son peuple; Car ils sont les pierres d'un diadème, Qui brilleront dans son pays.

16 Y los salvará en aquel día Jehová su Dios como á rebaño de su pueblo: porque serán engrandecidos en su tierra como piedras de corona.
16 Und der HERR, ihr Gott, wird ihnen zu der Zeit helfen als der Herde seines Volks; denn wie edle Steine werden sie in seinem Lande glänzen.
17 For how good it is and how beautiful! grain will make the young men strong and new wine the virgins.
17 Oh! quelle prospérité pour eux! quelle beauté! Le froment fera croître les jeunes hommes, Et le moût les jeunes filles.
