1 In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
1 Le huitième mois, la seconde année de Darius, la parole de l'Éternel fut adressée à Zacharie, fils de Bérékia, fils d'Iddo, le prophète, en ces mots:
1 San ochtú mí den dara bliain de réimeas Dháire labhraíodh briathar an Tiarna leis an bhfáidh Zacairia, mac Bharaicia, mhic Ideo, mar a leanas:
1 EN el mes octavo, en el año segundo de Darío, fué palabra de Jehová á Zacarías profeta, hijo de Berechîas, hijo de Iddo, diciendo:
1 Im achten Monat des zweiten Jahres des Königs Darius geschah das Wort des HERR zu Sacharja, dem Sohn Berechjas, des Sohnes Iddos, dem Propheten, und sprach:
2 The Lord has been very angry with your fathers:
2 L'Éternel a été très irrité contre vos pères.
2 “Bhí fearg mhór ar an Tiarna le bhur n-aithreacha.
2 Enojóse Jehová con ira contra vuestros padres.
2 Der HERR ist zornig gewesen über eure Väter.
3 And you are to say to them, These are the words of the Lord of armies: Come back to me, says the Lord of armies, and I will come back to you.
3 Dis-leur donc: Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Revenez à moi, dit l'Éternel des armées, et je reviendrai à vous, dit l'Éternel des armées.
3 Dá bhrí sin abair leis an bpobal: ‘Mar seo a labhraíonn Tiarna na Slua. Filligí orm, a deir Tiarna na Slua, agus fillfidh mise oraibhse, a deir Tiarna na Slua.
3 Les dirás pues: Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Volveos á mí, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y yo me volveré á vosotros, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.
3 Und sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Kehret euch zu mir, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, so will ich mich zu euch kehren, spricht der HERR Zebaoth.
4 Be not like your fathers, to whom the voice of the earlier prophets came, saying, Be turned now from your evil ways and from your evil doings: but they did not give ear to me or take note, says the Lord.
4 Ne soyez pas comme vos pères, auxquels s'adressaient les premiers prophètes, en disant: Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Détournez-vous de vos mauvaises voies, de vos mauvaises actions! Mais ils n'écoutèrent pas, ils ne firent pas attention à moi, dit l'Éternel.
4 Ná bígí cosúil le bhur n-aithreacha ar thug na fáithe tosaigh foláireamh dóibh, á rá: Mar seo a labhraíonn Tiarna na Slua: Filligí ó bhur ndrochbhealaí agus ó bhur ndrochghníomhartha. Ach níor éist siad liom ná níor thug siad aird ar bith orm, a deir an Tiarna.
4 No seáis como vuestros padres, á los cuales dieron voces los primeros profetas, diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Volveos ahora de vuestros malos caminos, y de vuestras malas obras: y no atendieron, ni me escucharon, dice Jehová.
4 Seid nicht wie eure Väter, welchen die vorigen Propheten predigten und sprachen: So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Kehret euch von euren bösen Wegen und von eurem bösen Tun! aber sie gehorchten nicht und achteten nicht auf mich, spricht der HERR.
5 Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they go on living for ever?
5 Vos pères, où sont-ils? et les prophètes pouvaient-ils vivre éternellement?
5 Cá bhfuil bhur n-aithreacha anois? Agus na fáithe, an bhfanann siadsan beo i gcónaí?
5 Vuestros padres, ¿dónde están? y los profetas ¿han de vivir para siempre?
5 Wo sind nun eure Väter? Und die Propheten, leben sie auch noch?
6 But my words and my orders, which I gave to my servants the prophets, have they not overtaken your fathers? and turning back they said, As it was the purpose of the Lord of armies to do to us, in reward for our ways and our doings, so has he done.
6 Cependant mes paroles et les ordres que j'avais donnés à mes serviteurs, les prophètes, n'ont-ils pas atteint vos pères? Ils se sont retournés, et ils ont dit: L'Éternel des armées nous a traités comme il avait résolu de le faire selon nos voies et nos actions.
6 Ach na rabhaidh agus na reachtanna ar chuir mé a gcúram ar mo sheirbhísigh, na fáithe, nár cuireadh i gcrích ar bhur n-aithreacha iad? Dá thoradh sin rinne siad aithrí agus dúirt siad: Thug Tiarna na Slua íde orainn de dheasca ár mbealaí agus ár ngníomhartha faoi mar a bhí beartaithe aige a dhéanamh.’ ” Na hAingil agus na Capaill
6 Empero mis palabras y mis ordenanzas que mandé á mis siervos los profetas, ¿no alcanzaron á vuestros padres? Por eso se volvieron ellos y dijeron: Como Jehová de los ejércitos pensó tratarnos conforme á nuestros caminos, y conforme á nuestras obras, así lo hizo con nosotros.
6 Ist's aber nicht also, daß meine Worte und meine Rechte, die ich durch meine Knechte, die Propheten, gebot, haben eure Väter getroffen, daß sie haben müssen umkehren und sagen: Gleichwie der HERR Zebaoth vorhatte uns zu tun, wie wir gingen und taten, also hat er uns auch getan?
7 On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, the month Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
7 Le vingt-quatrième jour du onzième mois, qui est le mois de Schebat, la seconde année de Darius, la parole de l'Éternel fut adressée à Zacharie, fils de Bérékia, fils d'Iddo, le prophète, en ces mots:
7 Ar an gceathrú lá is fiche den aonú mí déag, is é sin le rá, de mhí Shabát, den dara bliain de réimeas Dháire, labhraíodh briathar an Tiarna le Zacairia, mac Bharaicia, mhic Ideo, mar a leanas:
7 A los veinticuatro del mes undécimo, que es el mes de Sebath, en el año segundo de Darío, fué palabra de Jehová á Zacarías profeta, hijo de Berechîas, hijo de Iddo, diciendo:
7 Am vierundzwanzigsten Tage des elften Monats, welcher ist der Monat Sebat, im zweiten Jahr des Königs Darius, geschah das Wort des HERRN zu Sacharja, dem Sohn Berechjas, des Sohnes Iddos dem Propheten, und sprach:
8 I saw in the night a man on a red horse, between the mountains in the valley, and at his back were horses, red, black, white, and of mixed colours.
8 Je regardai pendant la nuit, et voici, un homme était monté sur un cheval roux, et se tenait parmi des myrtes dans un lieu ombragé; il y avait derrière lui des chevaux roux, fauves, et blancs.
8 “Bhí fís agam san oíche. Is amhlaidh a chonaic mé fear ar mhuin capaill rua agus é ina sheasamh i measc na gcrann miortail a bhí sa ghleann. Taobh thiar de bhí capaill rua agus capaill dhonnrua agus capaill bhána.
8 Vi de noche, y he aquí un varón que cabalgaba sobre un caballo bermejo, el cual estaba entre los mirtos que había en la hondura; y detrás de él había caballos bermejos, overos, y blancos.
8 Ich sah bei der Nacht, und siehe, ein Mann saß auf einem roten Pferde, und er hielt unter den Myrten in der Aue, und hinter ihm waren rote, braune und weiße Pferde.
9 Then I said, O my lord, what are these? And the angel who was talking to me said to me, I will make clear to you what they are.
9 Je dis: Qui sont ces chevaux, mon seigneur? Et l'ange qui parlait avec moi me dit: Je te ferai voir qui sont ces chevaux.
9 ‘Cad iad seo, a dhuine uasail?’ arsa mise. ‘Taispeánfaidh mé duit cad iad,’ arsa an t-aingeal a bhí ag caint liom.
9 Entonces dije: ¿Qué son éstos, señor mío? Y díjome el ángel que hablaba conmigo: Yo te enseñaré qué son éstos.
9 Und ich sprach: Mein HERR, wer sind diese? Und der Engel, der mit mir redete, sprach zu mir: Ich will dir zeigen, wer diese sind.
10 And the man who was between the mountains, answering me, said, These are those whom the Lord has sent to go up and down through the earth.
10 L'homme qui se tenait parmi les myrtes prit la parole et dit: Ce sont ceux que l'Éternel a envoyés pour parcourir la terre.
10 Ansin chuir an fear a bhí ina sheasamh i measc na gcrann miortail isteach ar an gcomhrá agus dúirt: ‘Is iad seo an dream a chuir an Tiarna amach uaidh chun dul anonn agus anall tríd an domhan.’
10 Y aquel varón que estaba entre los mirtos respondió, y dijo: Estos son los que Jehová ha enviado á recorrer la tierra.
10 Und der Mann, der unter den Myrten hielt, antwortete und sprach: Diese sind es, die der HERR ausgesandt hat, die Erde zu durchziehen.
11 And the man who was between the mountains, answering, said to the angel of the Lord, We have gone up and down through the earth, and all the earth is quiet and at rest.
11 Et ils s'adressèrent à l'ange de l'Éternel, qui se tenait parmi les myrtes, et ils dirent: Nous avons parcouru la terre, et voici, toute la terre est en repos et tranquille.
11 Thug siadsan an tuairisc seo d'aingeal an Tiarna a bhí ina sheasamh i measc na gcrann miortail, á rá: ‘Táimid tar éis cuairt an domhain a thabhairt agus tá an domhan go léir faoi shuaimhneas agus faoi shíocháin.’
11 Y ellos hablaron á aquel ángel de Jehová que estaba entre los mirtos, y dijeron: Hemos recorrido la tierra, y he aquí toda la tierra está reposada y quieta.
11 Sie aber antworteten dem Engel des HERRN, der unter den Myrten hielt, und sprachen: Wir haben die Erde durchzogen, und siehe, alle Länder sitzen still.
12 Then the angel of the Lord, answering, said, O Lord of armies, how long will it be before you have mercy on Jerusalem and on the towns of Judah against which your wrath has been burning for seventy years?
12 Alors l'ange de l'Éternel prit la parole et dit: Éternel des armées, jusques à quand n'auras-tu pas compassion de Jérusalem et des villes de Juda, contre lesquelles tu es irrité depuis soixante-dix ans?
12 Dúirt aingeal an Tiarna ansin: ‘A Thiarna na Slua, cá fhad eile a bheidh tú gan trua a ghlacadh do Iarúsailéim agus do chathracha Iúdá, a bhfuil tú i bhfeirg leo le seachtó bliain anuas?’
12 Y respondió el ángel de Jehová, y dijo: Oh Jehová de los ejércitos, ¿hasta cuándo no tendrás piedad de Jerusalem, y de las ciudades de Judá, con las cuales has estado airado por espacio de setenta años?
12 Da antwortete der Engel des HERRN und sprach: HERR Zebaoth, wie lange willst du denn dich nicht erbarmen über Jerusalem und über die Städte Juda's, über welche du zornig bist gewesen diese siebzig Jahre?
13 And the Lord gave an answer in good and comforting words to the angel who was talking to me.
13 L'Éternel répondit par de bonnes paroles, par des paroles de consolation, à l'ange qui parlait avec moi.
13 D'fhreagair an Tiarna an t-aingeal a bhí ag caint liom le briathra cneasta sólásacha.
13 Y Jehová respondió buenas palabras, palabras consolatorias á aquel ángel que hablaba conmigo.
13 Und der HERR antwortete dem Engel, der mit mir redete, freundliche Worte und tröstliche Worte.
14 And the angel who was talking to me said to me, Let your voice be loud and say, These are the words of the Lord of armies: I am greatly moved about the fate of Jerusalem and of Zion.
14 Et l'ange qui parlait avec moi me dit: Crie, et dis: Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Je suis ému d'une grande jalousie pour Jérusalem et pour Sion,
14 Mar sin de dúirt an t-aingeal a bhí ag caint liom: ‘Fógair é seo: Mar seo a labhraíonn Tiarna na Slua. Tá teasghrá éadmhar agam do Iarúsailéim agus do Shíón;
14 Y díjome el ángel que hablaba conmigo: Clama diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Celé á Jerusalem y á Sión con gran celo:
14 Und der Engel, der mit mir redete, sprach zu mir: Predige und sprich: So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Ich eifere um Jerusalem und Zion mit großem Eifer
15 And I am very angry with the nations who are living untroubled: for when I was only a little angry, they made the evil worse.
15 et je suis saisi d'une grande irritation contre les nations orgueilleuses; car je n'étais que peu irrité, mais elles ont contribué au mal.
15 ach tá fearg an- mhór ar fad orm leis na náisiúin dhíomasacha; mar cé nach raibh ach fearg bheag orm, chuaigh siadsan thar fóir leis an olc a rinne siad.
15 Y con grande enojo estoy airado contra las gentes que están reposadas; porque yo estaba enojado un poco, y ellos ayudaron para el mal.
15 und bin sehr zornig über die stolzen Heiden; denn ich war nur ein wenig zornig, sie aber halfen zum Verderben.
16 So this is what the Lord has said: I have come back to Jerusalem with mercies; my house is to be put up in her, says the Lord of armies, and a line is to be stretched out over Jerusalem.
16 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel: Je reviens à Jérusalem avec compassion; ma maison y sera rebâtie, et le cordeau sera étendu sur Jérusalem.
16 Ar an ábhar sin labhraíonn an Tiarna mar seo: Tá mé tar éis filleadh ar Iarúsailéim le barr trua di. Atógfar mo Theampall inti, a deir Tiarna na Slua, agus sínfear an dorú tomhais thar Iarúsailéim.
16 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: Yo me he tornado á Jerusalem con miseraciones; en ella será edificada mi casa, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y la plomada será tendida sobre Jerusalem.
16 Darum so spricht der HERR: Ich will mich wieder zu Jerusalem kehren mit Barmherzigkeit, und mein Haus soll darin gebaut werden, spricht der HERR Zebaoth; dazu soll die Zimmerschnur in Jerusalem gezogen werde.
17 And again let your voice be loud and say, This is what the Lord of armies has said: My towns will again be overflowing with good things, and again the Lord will give comfort to Zion and take Jerusalem for himself.
17 Crie de nouveau, et dis: Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Mes villes auront encore des biens en abondance; l'Éternel consolera encore Sion, il choisira encore Jérusalem.
17 Fógair é seo freisin: Mar seo a labhraíonn Tiarna na Slua: Níor tháinig rath go fóill ar mo chathracha, ach tabharfaidh an Tiarna sólás do Shíón athuair agus déanfaidh sé rogha de Iarúsailéim aon uair amháin eile.’ ”
17 Clama aún, diciendo: Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: Aun serán ensanchadas mis ciudades por la abundancia del bien; y aun consolará Jehová á Sión, y escogerá todavía á Jerusalem.
17 Und predige weiter und sprich: So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Es soll meinen Städten wieder wohl gehen, und der HERR wird Zion wieder trösten und wird Jerusalem wieder erwählen.
18 And lifting up my eyes I saw four horns.
18 Je levai les yeux et je regardai, et voici, il y avait quatre cornes.
18 D'ardaigh mé mo shúile agus cad a chonaic mé ach ceithre adharc.
18 Después alcé mis ojos, y miré, y he aquí cuatro cuernos.
18 Und ich hob meine Augen auf und sah, und siehe, da waren vier Hörner.
19 And I said to the angel who was talking to me, What are these? And he said to me, These are the horns which have sent Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem in flight.
19 Je dis à l'ange qui parlait avec moi: Qu'est-ce que ces cornes? Et il me dit: Ce sont les cornes qui ont dispersé Juda, Israël et Jérusalem.
19 “Cad iad seo?” arsa mise leis an aingeal a bhí ag caint liom. “Is iad seo na hadharca atá tar éis Iúdá agus Iosrael agus Iarúsailéim a scaipeadh,” ar seisean liom.
19 Y dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: ¿Qué son éstos? Y respondióme: Estos son los cuernos que aventaron á Judá, á Israel, y á Jerusalem.
19 Und ich sprach zu dem Engel, der mit mir redete: Wer sind diese? Er sprach zu mir: Es sind Hörner, die Juda samt Israel und Jerusalem zerstreut haben.
20 And the Lord gave me a vision of four metal-workers.
20 L'Éternel me fit voir quatre forgerons.
20 Ansin thaispeáin an Tiarna ceathrar gaibhne dom.
20 Mostróme luego Jehová cuatro carpinteros.
20 Und der HERR zeigte mir vier Schmiede.
21 Then I said, What have these come to do? And he said, These are the horns which sent Judah in flight, and kept him from lifting up his head: but these men have come to send fear on them and to put down the nations who are lifting up their horns against the land of Judah to send it in flight.
21 Je dis: Que viennent-ils faire? Et il dit: Ce sont les cornes qui ont dispersé Juda, tellement que nul ne lève la tête; et ces forgerons sont venus pour les effrayer, et pour abattre les cornes des nations qui ont levé la corne contre le pays de Juda, afin d'en disperser les habitants.
