1 The words of Amos, who was among the herdsmen of Tekoa; what he saw about Israel in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam, the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earth-shock.
1 Paroles d'Amos, l'un des bergers de Tekoa, visions qu'il eut sur Israël, au temps d'Ozias, roi de Juda, et au temps de Jéroboam, fils de Joas, roi d'Israël, deux ans avant le tremblement de terre.
1 Briathra Amós, aoire de chuid Theacóá. Fís a bhí aige faoi Iosrael i laethanta Uiziá, rí Iúdá, agus i laethanta Iarobám mac Ióáis, rí Iosrael, dhá bhliain roimh an gcrith talún.
1 LAS palabras de Amós, que fué entre los pastores de Tecoa, las cuales vió acerca de Israel en días de Uzzía rey de Judá, y en días de Jeroboam hijo de Joas rey de Israel, dos años antes del terremoto.
1 Dies ist's, was Amos, der unter den Hirten zu Thekoa war, gesehen hat über Israel zur Zeit Usias, des Königs in Juda, und Jerobeams, des Sohnes Joas, des Königs Israels, zwei Jahre vor dem Erdbeben.
2 And he said, The Lord will give a lion's cry from Zion, his voice will be sounding from Jerusalem; and the fields of the keepers of sheep will become dry, and the top of Carmel will be wasted away.
2 Il dit: De Sion l'Éternel rugit, De Jérusalem il fait entendre sa voix. Les pâturages des bergers sont dans le deuil, Et le sommet du Carmel est desséché.
2 Agus dúirt sé: Tá an Tiarna ag búiríl ó Shíón, ag labhairt os ard ó Iarúsailéim. Tá féarach na n‑aoirí ruadhóite, agus mullach Chairmeil ag feo. Breithiúnas ar Iosrael agus a Chomharsana An Damaisc agus na Feorainn
2 Y dijo: Jehová bramará desde Sión, y dará su voz desde Jerusalem; y las estancias de los pastores se enlutarán, y secaráse la cumbre del Carmelo.
2 Und er sprach: Der HERR wird aus Zion brüllen und seine Stimme aus Jerusalem hören lassen, daß die Auen der Hirten jämmerlich stehen werden und der Karmel oben verdorren wird.
3 These are the words of the Lord: For three crimes of Damascus, and for four, I will not let its fate be changed; because they have been crushing Gilead with iron grain-crushing instruments.
3 Ainsi parle l'Éternel: A cause de trois crimes de Damas, Même de quatre, je ne révoque pas mon arrêt, Parce qu'ils ont foulé Galaad sous des traîneaux de fer.
3 Mar seo a deir an Tiarna: In éiric thrí pheaca na Damaisce, in éiric a ceithre pheaca, ní rachaidh mé siar ar mo dhaorbhreith. De bhrí gur lasc siad Gileád le súiste iarainn,
3 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Damasco, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque trillaron á Galaad con trillos de hierro.
3 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen der Damasker will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie Gilead mit eisernen Zacken gedroschen haben;
4 And I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, burning up the great houses of Ben-hadad.
4 J'enverrai le feu dans la maison de Hazaël, Et il dévorera les palais de Ben Hadad.
4 teilgfidh mé tine síos ar theach Hazáéil, a dhófaidh caisleáin Bhein Hadad;
4 Y meteré fuego en la casa de Hazael, y consumirá los palacios de Ben-hadad.
4 sondern ich will ein Feuer schicken in das Haus Hasaels, das soll die Paläste Benhadads verzehren.
5 And I will have the locks of the door of Damascus broken, and him who is seated in power cut off from the valley of Aven, and him in whose hand is the rod from the house of Eden; and the people of Aram will go away as prisoners into Kir, says the Lord.
5 Je briserai les verrous de Damas, J'exterminerai de Bikath Aven les habitants, Et de Beth Éden celui qui tient le sceptre; Et le peuple de Syrie sera mené captif à Kir, dit l'Éternel.
5 brisfidh mé barraí gheata na Damaisce agus dítheoidh mé áitritheoirí Ghleann Áivin agus rialtóir Bhéit Eidin; agus rachaidh muintir na Síre ar deoraíocht go Cír, a deir an Tiarna.
5 Y quebraré la barra de Damasco, y talaré los moradores de Bicath-aven, y los gobernadores de Beth-eden: y el pueblo de Aram será trasportado á Chîr, dice Jehová.
5 Und ich will die Riegel zu Damaskus zerbrechen und die Einwohner auf dem Felde Aven samt dem, der das Zepter hält, aus dem Lusthause ausrotten, daß das Volk in Syrien soll gen Kir weggeführt werden, spricht der HERR.
6 These are the words of the Lord: For three crimes of Gaza, and for four, I will not let its fate be changed; because they took all the people away prisoners, to give them up to Edom.
6 Ainsi parle l'Éternel: A cause de trois crimes de Gaza, Même de quatre, je ne révoque pas mon arrêt, Parce qu'ils ont fait une foule de captifs pour les livrer à Édom.
6 Mar seo a deir an Tiarna: In éiric thrí pheaca Ghazá, In éiric a cheithre pheaca, ní rachaidh mé siar ar an bpionós. De bhrí gur dhíbir siad cine iomlán mar bhránna go hEadóm,
6 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Gaza, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque llevó cautiva toda la cautividad, para entregarlos á Edom.
6 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevels willen Gazas will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie die Gefangenen alle weggeführt und an Edom überantwortet haben;
7 And I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, burning up its great houses:
7 J'enverrai le feu dans les murs de Gaza, Et il en dévorera les palais.
7 teilgfidh mé tine síos ar bhalla Ghazá a dhófaidh a páláis;
7 Y meteré fuego en el muro de Gaza, y quemará sus palacios.
7 sondern ich will ein Feuer in die Mauern zu Gaza schicken, das soll ihre Paläste verzehren.
8 Him who is seated in power I will have cut off from Ashdod, and him in whose hand is the rod from Ashkelon; and my hand will be turned against Ekron, and the rest of the Philistines will come to destruction, says the Lord God.
8 J'exterminerai d'Asdod les habitants, Et d'Askalon celui qui tient le sceptre; Je tournerai ma main contre Ékron, Et le reste des Philistins périra, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
8 díbreoidh mé áitritheoirí Aisdeod agus rialtóir Aiscileon; agus iompóidh mé mo lámh in aghaidh Eacrón agus bascfar an Filistíneach deireanach, a deir an Tiarna Dia.
8 Y talaré los moradores de Azoto, y los gobernadores de Ascalón: y tornaré mi mano sobre Ecrón, y las reliquias de los Palestinos perecerán, ha dicho el Señor Jehová.
8 Und ich will die Einwohner aus Asdod und den, der das Zepter hält, aus Askalon ausrotten und meine Hand wider Ekron kehren, daß umkommen soll, was von den Philistern noch übrig ist, spricht der HERR HERR.
9 These are the words of the Lord: For three crimes of Tyre, and for four, I will not let its fate be changed; because they gave up all the people prisoners to Edom, without giving a thought to the brothers' agreement between them.
9 Ainsi parle l'Éternel: A cause de trois crimes de Tyr, Même de quatre, je ne révoque pas mon arrêt, Parce qu'ils ont livré à Édom une foule de captifs, Sans se souvenir de l'alliance fraternelle.
9 Mar seo a deir an Tiarna: In éiric thrí pheaca na Tuíre, in éiric a ceithre pheaca, ní rachaidh mé siar ar mo dhaorbhreith. De bhrí gur dhíbir siad cine iomlán mar bhránna go hEadóm agus nár chuimhin leo conradh na mbráithre,
9 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Tiro, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque entregaron la cautividad entera á Edom, y no se acordaron del concierto de hermanos.
9 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen der Stadt Tyrus will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie die Gefangenen alle an Edom überantwortet haben und nicht gedacht an den Bund der Brüder;
10 And I will send a fire on the wall of Tyre, burning up its great houses.
10 J'enverrai le feu dans les murs de Tyr, Et il en dévorera les palais.
10 teilgfidh mé tine síos ar bhalla na Tuíre a dhófaidh go talamh a páláis.
10 Y meteré fuego en el muro de Tiro, y consumirá sus palacios.
10 sondern ich will ein Feuer in die Mauern zu Tyrus schicken, das soll ihre Paläste verzehren.
11 These are the words of the Lord: For three crimes of Edom, and for four, I will not let its fate be changed; because his sword was turned against his brother, without pity, and his wrath was burning at all times, and he was angry for ever.
11 Ainsi parle l'Éternel: A cause de trois crimes d'Édom, Même de quatre, je ne révoque pas mon arrêt, Parce qu'il a poursuivi ses frères avec l'épée, En étouffant sa compassion, Parce que sa colère déchire toujours, Et qu'il garde éternellement sa fureur.
11 Mar seo a deir an Tiarna: In éiric thrí pheaca Eadóm, in éiric a cheithre pheaca, ní rachaidh mé siar ar mo dhaorbhreith. De bhrí gur chiap sé a dheartháir leis an gclaíomh agus gur rad uaidh gach uile thrua, go mbíodh sé i gcónaí confach agus gur chothaigh ann féin de shíor an fhearg,
11 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Edom, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque persiguió á cuchillo á su hermano, y rompió sus conmiseraciones; y con su furor le ha robado siempre, y ha perpetuamente guardado el enojo.
11 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen Edoms will ich sein nicht schonen, darum daß er seinen Bruder mit dem Schwert verfolgt hat und daß er alles Erbarmen von sich getan und immer wütet in seinem Zorn und seinem Grimm ewig hält;
12 And I will send a fire on Teman, burning up the great houses of Bozrah.
12 J'enverrai le feu dans Théman, Et il dévorera les palais de Botsra.
12 teilgfidh mé tine síos ar Théamán a dhófaidh go talamh páláis Bhozrá.
12 Y meteré fuego en Temán, y consumirá los palacios de Bosra.
12 sondern ich will ein Feuer schicken gen Theman, das soll die Paläste zu Bozra verzehren.
13 These are the words of the Lord: For three crimes of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not let its fate be changed; because in Gilead they had women with child cut open, so that they might make wider the limits of their land.
13 Ainsi parle l'Éternel: A cause de trois crimes des enfants d'Ammon, Même de quatre, je ne révoque pas mon arrêt, Parce qu'ils ont fendu le ventre des femmes enceintes de Galaad, Afin d'agrandir leur territoire.
13 Mar seo a deir an Tiarna: In éiric thrí pheaca chlann Amón, in éiric a gceithre pheaca, ní rachaidh mé siar ar mo dhaorbhreith. De bhrí gur scoilt siad mná Ghileád a bhí ag iompar clainne ionas go leathnóidís a gcríocha féin,
13 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de los hijos de Ammón, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque abrieron las preñadas de Galaad, para ensanchar su término.
13 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen der Kinder Ammon will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie die Schwangeren in Gilead zerrissen haben, damit sie ihre Grenze weiter machten;
14 And I will make a fire in the wall of Rabbah, burning up its great houses, with loud cries in the days of war, with a storm in the day of the great wind:
14 J'allumerai le feu dans les murs de Rabba, Et il en dévorera les palais, Au milieu des cris de guerre au jour du combat, Au milieu de l'ouragan au jour de la tempête;
14 lasfaidh mé tine i mballa Rabá agus dófaidh sí a páláis le gáir lá an chatha, le stoirm lá na doininne;
14 Y encenderé fuego en el muro de Rabba, y consumirá sus palacios con estruendo en día de batalla, con tempestad en día tempestuoso:
14 sondern ich will ein Feuer anzünden in den Mauern Rabbas, das soll ihre Paläste verzehren, wenn man rufen wird zur Zeit des Streits und wenn das Wetter kommen wird zur Zeit des Sturms.
15 And their king will be made prisoner, he and his captains together, says the Lord.
15 Et leur roi s'en ira en captivité, Lui, et ses chefs avec lui, dit l'Éternel.
