1 O Israel, come back to the Lord your God; for your evil-doing has been the cause of your fall.
1 Israël, reviens à l'Éternel, ton Dieu, Car tu es tombé par ton iniquité.
1 Fill, a Iosrael, ar an Tiarna, do Dhia, óir baineadh tuisle asat de dheasca do chuid urchóide.
1 CONVIÉRTETE, oh Israel, á Jehová tu Dios: porque por tu pecado has caído.
1 Bekehre dich, Israel, zu dem HERR, deinem Gott; denn du bist gefallen um deiner Missetat willen.
2 Take with you words, and come back to the Lord; say to him, Let there be forgiveness for all wrongdoing, so that we may take what is good, and give in payment the fruit of our lips.
2 Apportez avec vous des paroles, Et revenez à l'Éternel. Dites-lui: Pardonne toutes les iniquités, Et reçois-nous favorablement! Nous t'offrirons, au lieu de taureaux, l'hommage de nos lèvres.
2 Bíodh riar bhur gcáis de bhriathra agaibh, agus filligí ar an Tiarna agus abraigí leis: Maith dúinn ár gcionta uile, le go bhfaighimid uait rud is fónta, i ndíol ar na briathra a chanaimid duit.
2 Tomad con vosotros palabras, y convertíos á Jehová, y decidle: Quita toda iniquidad, y acepta el bien, y daremos becerros de nuestros labios.
2 Nehmt diese Worte mit euch und bekehrt euch zum HERRN und sprecht zu ihm: Vergib uns alle Sünde und tue uns wohl; so wollen wir opfern die Farren unsrer Lippen.
3 Assyria will not be our salvation; we will not go on horses; we will not again say to the work of our hands, You are our gods; for in you there is mercy for the child who has no father.
3 L'Assyrien ne nous sauvera pas, nous ne monterons pas sur des chevaux, Et nous ne dirons plus à l'ouvrage de nos mains: Notre Dieu! Car c'est auprès de toi que l'orphelin trouve compassion.
3 Ní lorgóimid cúnamh ón Asaír, ná ní rachaimid i muinín eachra; go deo arís ní chanfaimid: “A Dhia linn” do dhéantús ár lámh; [óir is tú a ghlacann trua don dílleachta].
3 No nos librará Assur; no subiremos sobre caballos, ni nunca más diremos á la obra de nuestras manos: Dioses nuestros: porque en ti el huérfano alcanzará misericordia.
3 Assur soll uns nicht helfen; wir wollen nicht mehr auf Rossen reiten, auch nicht mehr sagen zu den Werken unsrer Hände: "Ihr seid unser Gott"; sondern laß die Waisen bei dir Gnade finden.
4 I will put right their errors; freely will my love be given to them, for my wrath is turned away from him.
4 Je réparerai leur infidélité, J'aurai pour eux un amour sincère; Car ma colère s'est détournée d'eux.
4 Leigheasfaidh mé a mídhílseacht, tabharfaidh mé grá dóibh go fonnmhar, mar ní díol feirge liom iad níos mó.
4 Yo medicinaré su rebelión, amarélos de voluntad: porque mi furor se apartó de ellos.
4 So will ich ihr Abtreten wieder heilen; gerne will ich sie lieben; denn mein Zorn soll sich von ihnen wenden.
5 I will be as the dew to Israel; he will put out flowers like a lily, and send out his roots like Lebanon.
5 Je serai comme la rosée pour Israël, Il fleurira comme le lis, Et il poussera des racines comme le Liban.
5 Silfidh mé ar Iosrael mar an drúcht. Bláthóidh sí ar nós na lile, agus cuirfidh sí uaithi a fréamhacha mar a dhéanann an stóracs.
5 Yo seré á Israel como rocío; él florecerá como lirio, y extenderá sus raíces como el Líbano.
5 Ich will Israel wie ein Tau sein, daß er soll blühen wie eine Rose, und seine Wurzeln sollen ausschlagen wie der Libanon
6 His branches will be stretched out, he will be beautiful as the olive-tree and sweet-smelling as Lebanon.
6 Ses rameaux s'étendront; Il aura la magnificence de l'olivier, Et les parfums du Liban.
6 Caithreoidh a géagáin; áilleacht na holóige agus cumhracht an stóraics a dháilfear uirthi.
6 Extenderse han sus ramos, y será su gloria como la de la oliva, y olerá como el Líbano.
6 und seine Zweige sich ausbreiten, daß er sei schön wie ein Ölbaum, und soll so guten Geruch geben wie der Libanon.
7 They will come back and have rest in his shade; their life will be made new like the grain, and they will put out flowers like the vine; his name will be like the wine of Lebanon.
7 Ils reviendront s'asseoir à son ombre, Ils redonneront la vie au froment, Et ils fleuriront comme la vigne; Ils auront la renommée du vin du Liban.
7 Lonnóidh siad faoi mo scáth arís; saothróidh siad arbhar, agus beidh fíniúna ag fás acu, a mbeidh cáil orthu mar atá ar fhíon na Liobáine.
7 Volverán, y se sentarán bajo de su sombra: serán vivificados como trigo, y florecerán como la vid: su olor, como de vino del Líbano.
7 Und sie sollen wieder unter einem Schatten sitzen; von Korn sollen sie sich nähren und blühen wie der Weinstock; sein Gedächtnis soll sein wie der Wein am Libanon.
8 As for Ephraim, what has he to do with false gods any longer? I have given an answer and I will keep watch over him; I am like a branching fir-tree, from me comes your fruit.
8 Éphraïm, qu'ai-je à faire encore avec les idoles? Je l'exaucerai, je le regarderai, Je serai pour lui comme un cyprès verdoyant. C'est de moi que tu recevras ton fruit.

8 Ephraim dirá: ¿Qué más tendré ya con los ídolos? Yo lo oiré, y miraré; yo seré á él como la haya verde: de mí será hallado tu fruto.
8 Ephraim, was sollen mir weiter die Götzen? Ich will ihn erhören und führen; ich will sein wie eine grünende Tanne; an mir soll man deine Frucht finden.
9 He who is wise will see these things; he who has good sense will have knowledge of them. For the ways of the Lord are straight, and the upright will go in them, but sinners will be falling in them.
9 Que celui qui est sage prenne garde à ces choses! Que celui qui est intelligent les comprenne! Car les voies de l'Éternel sont droites; Les justes y marcheront, Mais les rebelles y tomberont.
