1 When Israel was a child he was dear to me; and I took my son out of Egypt.
1 Quand Israël était jeune, je l'aimais, Et j'appelai mon fils hors d'Égypte.

4 I made them come after me with the cords of a man, with the bands of love; I was to them as one who took the yoke from off their mouths, putting meat before them.

7 My people are given up to sinning against me; though their voice goes up on high, no one will be lifting them up.

8 Cad é mar a thabharfainn suas thú, a Eafráim! Cad é mar a thréigfinn thú, a Iosrael! Nach beag a thabharfadh orm íde Admá a imirt ort, agus tú a dhéanamh cosúil le Zabóím! Ach ní bhfaighinn ó mo chroí a dhéanamh, mar gur ghabh trua duit mé.
8 ¿Cómo tengo de dejarte, oh Ehpraim? ¿he de entregarte yo, Israel? ¿cómo podré yo hacerte como Adma, ni ponerte como á Zeboim? Mi corazón se revuelve dentro de mí, inflámanse todas mis conmiseraciones.
8 Was soll ich aus dir machen, Ephraim? Soll ich dich schützen, Israel? Soll ich nicht billig ein Adama aus dir machen und dich wie Zeboim zurichten? Aber mein Herz ist andern Sinnes, meine Barmherzigkeit ist zu brünstig,
9 I will not put into effect the heat of my wrath; I will not again send destruction on Ephraim; for I am God and not man, the Holy One among you; I will not put an end to you.
9 Je n'agirai pas selon mon ardente colère, Je renonce à détruire Éphraïm; Car je suis Dieu, et non pas un homme, Je suis le Saint au milieu de toi; Je ne viendrai pas avec colère.
9 Ní ligfidh mé amach ort mo racht feirge; ní scriosfaidh mé Eafráim go deo, óir ní duine mé ach Dia. In bhur measc is mé an Té is naofa, agus ní thiocfaidh mé chugaibh le teann feirge.

10 Ils suivront l'Éternel, qui rugira comme un lion, Car il rugira, et les enfants accourront de la mer.

10 En pos de Jehová caminarán: él bramará como león: cual león rugirá él de cierto, y los hijos se moverán azorados del occidente.
10 Alsdann wird man dem HERRN nachfolgen, und er wird brüllen wie ein Löwe; und wenn er wird brüllen, so werden erschrocken kommen die Kinder, so gegen Abend sind.
11 Shaking with fear like a bird, they will come out of Egypt, like a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will give them rest in their houses, says the Lord.
11 Ils accourront de l'Égypte, comme un oiseau, Et du pays d'Assyrie, comme une colombe. Et je les ferai habiter dans leurs maisons, dit l'Éternel.
11 Tiocfaidh siad ón Éigipt mar ealta éan, agus ó chríocha na hAsaíre mar scata colm, agus treoróidh mé abhaile iad chun a dtithe féin - an Tiarna a labhraíonn.
11 Como ave se moverán velozmente de Egipto, y de la tierra de Asiria como paloma; y pondrélos en sus casas, dice Jehová.
11 Und die in Ägypten werden auch erschrocken kommen wie die Vögel, und die im Lande Assur wie Tauben; und ich will sie in ihre Häuser setzen, spricht der HERR.
