1 Have no joy, O Israel, and do not be glad like the nations; for you have been untrue to your God; your desire has been for the loose woman's reward on every grain-floor.
1 Israël, ne te livre pas à la joie, à l'allégresse, comme les peuples, De ce que tu t'es prostitué en abandonnant l'Éternel, De ce que tu as aimé un salaire impur dans toutes les aires à blé!
1 Ná déan gairdeachas, a Iosrael, le teann lúcháire ar nós na náisiún! Óir chuaigh tú le striapachas ó do Dhia, agus ar gach urlár buailte arbhair is i dtuarastal striapachais a bhí do dhúil.
1 No te alegres, oh Israel, hasta saltar de gozo como los pueblos, pues has fornicado apartándote de tu Dios: amaste salario por todas las eras de trigo.
1 Du darfst dich nicht freuen, Israel, noch rühmen wie die Völker; denn du hurst wider deinen Gott und suchst damit Hurenlohn, daß alle Tennen voll Getreide werden.
2 The grain-floor and the place where the grapes are crushed will not give them food; there will be no new wine for them.
2 L'aire et le pressoir ne les nourriront pas, Et le moût leur fera défaut.
2 Ach ní chothóidh urlár buailte ná cantaoir iad feasta, agus rachaidh dá n‑úrfhíon.
2 La era y el lagar no los mantedrán; les fallará el mosto.
2 Darum sollen dich Tenne und Kelter nicht nähren, und der Most soll dir fehlen.
3 They will have no resting-place in the Lord's land, but Ephraim will go back to Egypt, and they will take unclean food in Assyria.
3 Ils ne resteront pas dans le pays de l'Éternel; Éphraïm retournera en Égypte, Et ils mangeront en Assyrie des aliments impurs.
3 Ní bheidh cónaí orthu níos mó i dtír an Tiarna, mar rachaidh Eafráim ar ais chun na hÉigipte agus íosfaidh siad bia neamhghlan san Asaír.
3 No quedarán en la tierra de Jehová, sino que volverá Ephraim á Egipto, y á Asiria, donde comerán vianda inmunda.
3 Sie sollen nicht bleiben im Lande des HERRN, sondern Ephraim muß wieder nach Ägypten und muß in Assyrien Unreines essen,
4 They will give no wine offering to the Lord, they will not make offerings ready for him; their bread will be like the bread of those in sorrow; all who take it will be unclean, because their bread will be only for their desire, it will not come into the house of the Lord.
4 Ils ne feront pas à l'Éternel des libations de vin: Elles ne lui seraient point agréables. Leurs sacrifices seront pour eux comme un pain de deuil; Tous ceux qui en mangeront se rendront impurs; Car leur pain ne sera que pour eux, Il n'entrera point dans la maison de l'Éternel.
4 Go brách arís ní dhoirtfidh siad fíon le hurraim don Tiarna, ná ní ofrálfaidh siad íobairtí dó. Ní bheidh acu ach mar a bheadh arán dobróin, agus an uile dhuine a íosfaidh é beidh sé neamhghlan. [Óir ní bheidh ach a gcothú féin amháin ina gcuid aráin; blúire de ní ofrálfar i dteach an Tiarna.]
4 No derramarán vino á Jehová, ni él tomará contento en sus sacrificios; como pan de enlutados le serán á ellos: todos los que comieren de él, serán inmundos. Será pues el pan de ellos para si mismos; no entrará en la casa de Jehová.
4 wo sie dem HERRN kein Trankopfer vom Wein noch etwas zu Gefallen tun können. Ihr Opfer soll sein wie der Betrübten Brot, an welchem unrein werden alle, die davon essen; denn ihr Brot müssen sie für sich selbst essen, und es soll nicht in des HERRN Haus gebracht werden.
5 What will you do on the day of worship, and on the day of the feast of the Lord?
5 Que ferez-vous aux jours solennels, Aux jours des fêtes de l'Éternel?
5 Cad a dhéanfaidh sibh ar lá an tsollúntais, ar lá fhéile an Tiarna?
5 ¿Qué haréis el día de la solemnidad, y el día de la fiesta de Jehová?
5 Was wollt ihr alsdann an den Jahrfesten und an den Feiertagen des HERRN tun?
6 For see, they are going away into Assyria; Egypt will get them together, Memphis will be their last resting-place; their fair silver vessels will be covered over with field plants, and thorns will come up in their tents.
6 Car voici, ils partent à cause de la dévastation; L'Égypte les recueillera, Moph leur donnera des sépulcres; Ce qu'ils ont de précieux, leur argent, sera la proie des ronces, Et les épines croîtront dans leurs tentes.
6 Mar, féach, teithfidh siad leo ón léirscrios; cruinneoidh an Éigipt iad, agus tabharfaidh Meimfís adhlacadh dóibh. Beidh neantóga ina n‑oidhrí ar a n‑earraí luachmhara airgid, agus glacfaidh sceacha seilbh ar a scrínte. Géarleanúint ar an bhFáidh
6 Porque, he aquí se fueron ellos á causa de la destrucción: Egipto los recogerá, Memphis los enterrará: espino poseerá por heredad lo deseable de su plata, ortiga crecerá en sus moradas.
6 Siehe, sie müssen weg vor dem Verstörer. Ägypten wird sie sammeln, und Moph wird sie begraben. Nesseln werden wachsen, da jetzt ihr liebes Götzensilber steht, und Dornen in ihren Hütten.
7 The days of punishment, the days of reward are come; Israel will be put to shame; the prophet is foolish, the man who has the spirit is off his head, because of your great sin.
7 Ils arrivent, les jours du châtiment, Ils arrivent, les jours de la rétribution: Israël va l'éprouver! Le prophète est fou, l'homme inspiré a le délire, A cause de la grandeur de tes iniquités et de tes rébellions.
7 Tá laethanta an smachtaithe ag teacht, seo chugainn laethanta an chúitimh. Go raibh a fhios sin ag Iosrael! “Amadán is ea an fáidh”, a deir siad, “is ag rámhaille a bhíonn fear an spioraid.” Cinnte, ach is de dheasca bhur n‑urchóide, agus bhur bhfuatha dom é.
7 Vinieron los días de la visitación, vinieron los días de la paga; conocerálo Israel: necio el profeta. insensato el varón de espíritu, á causa de la multitud de tu maldad, y grande odio.
7 Die Zeit der Heimsuchung ist gekommen, die Zeit der Vergeltung; des wird Israel innewerden. Die Propheten sind Narren, und die Rottengeister sind wahnsinnig um deiner großen Missetat und um der großen feindseligen Abgötterei willen.
8 There is great hate against the watchman of Ephraim, the people of my God; as for the prophet, there is a net in all his ways, and hate in the house of his God.
8 Éphraïm est une sentinelle contre mon Dieu; Le prophète... un filet d'oiseleur est sur toutes ses voies, Un ennemi dans la maison de son Dieu.
8 Tá faireoir Eafráim i bhfochair mo Dhé - is é an fáidh é. Tá líonta foghlaera leata ar a loirg uile, agus i dteach a Dhé déantar géarleanúint air.
8 Atalaya es Ephraim para con mi Dios: el profeta es lazo de cazador en todos sus caminos, odio en la casa de su Dios.
8 Die Wächter in Ephraim hielten sich vormals an meinen Gott; aber nun sind sie Propheten, die Stricke legen auf allen ihren Wegen durch die feindselige Abgötterei im Hause ihres Gottes.

9 Llegaron al profundo, corrompiéronse, como en los días de Gabaa: ahora se acordará de su iniquidad; visitará su pecado.
9 Sie verderben's zu tief wie zur Zeit Gibeas; darum wird er ihrer Missetat gedenken und ihre Sünden heimsuchen.
10 I made discovery of Israel as of grapes in the waste land; I saw your fathers as the first-fruits of the fig-tree in her early fruit time; but they came to Baal-peor, and made themselves holy to the thing of shame, and became disgusting like that to which they gave their love.
10 J'ai trouvé Israël comme des raisins dans le désert, J'ai vu vos pères comme les premiers fruits d'un figuier; Mais ils sont allés vers Baal Peor, Ils se sont consacrés à l'infâme idole, Et ils sont devenus abominables comme l'objet de leur amour.
10 Mar chaora fíniúna san fhásach, is ea a tháinig mé ar Iosrael; mar chéadtoradh an chrainn fígí [i dtús an tséasúir], is ea a leag mé súil ar bhur sinsear. Ach chomh luath agus a shroich siad Bál Peór, choisric siad iad féin don Náire, agus níor lú an t‑ábhar déistine dom iad ná na nithe dár thug siad gean.
10 Como uvas en el desierto hallé á Israel: como la fruta temprana de la higuera en su principio vi á vuestros padres. Ellos entraron á Baal-peor, y se apartaron para vergüenza, é hiciéronse abominables como aquello que amaron.
10 Ich fand Israel in der Wüste wie Trauben und sah eure Väter wie die ersten Feigen am Feigenbaum; aber hernach gingen sie zu Baal-Peor und gelobten sich dem schändlichen Abgott und wurden ja so greulich wie ihre Buhlen.
11 As for Ephraim, their glory will go in flight like a bird: there will be no birth and no one with child and no giving of life.
11 La gloire d'Éphraïm s'envolera comme un oiseau: Plus de naissance, plus de grossesse, plus de conception.
11 Tá acmhainn Eafráim ag eitilt uaithi mar éan, agus beidh sí gan bhreith, gan bhroinn, gan ghin.
11 Ephraim, cual ave volará su gloria desde el nacimiento, aun desde el vientre y desde la concepción.
11 Darum muß die Herrlichkeit Ephraims wie ein Vogel wegfliegen, daß sie weder gebären noch tragen noch schwanger werden sollen.
12 Even though their children have come to growth I will take them away, so that not a man will be there; for their evil-doing will be complete and they will be put to shame because of it.
12 S'ils élèvent leurs enfants, Je les en priverai avant qu'ils soient des hommes; Et malheur à eux, quand je les abandonnerai!
12 Go fiú má éiríonn leo a gclann a thógáil, bainfidh mise díobh iad roimh dóibh teacht in inmhe fir. Mairg dóibh go deimhin má thréigimse iad!
12 Y si llegaren á grandes sus hijos, quitarélos de entre los hombre, porque ¡ay de ellos también, cuando de ellos me apartare!
12 Und ob sie ihre Kinder gleich erzögen, will ich sie doch ohne Kinder machen, daß keine Leute mehr sein sollen. Auch weh ihnen, wenn ich von ihnen gewichen bin!
13 As I have seen a beast whose young have been taken from her, so Ephraim will give birth to children only for them to be put to death.
13 Éphraïm, aussi loin que portent mes regards du côté de Tyr, Est planté dans un lieu agréable; Mais Éphraïm mènera ses enfants vers celui qui les tuera.
13 Mar a fheictear domsa é, Tuír eile is ea Eafráim atá curtha in áit ghlas fhéarmhar ach beidh uirthi a clann a ligean uaithi le marfóir.
13 Ephraim, según veo, es semejante á Tiro, asentada en lugar delicioso: mas Ephraim sacará sus hijos al matador.
13 Ephraim, wie ich es ansehe, ist gepflanzt und hübsch wie Tyrus, muß aber nun seine Kinder herauslassen dem Totschläger.
14 O Lord, what will you give them? Give them bodies which may not give birth and breasts without milk.
14 Donne-leur, ô Éternel!... Que leur donneras-tu?... Donne-leur un sein qui avorte et des mamelles desséchées!

15 All their evil-doing is in Gilgal; there I had hate for them; because of their evil-doing I will send them out of my house; they will no longer be dear to me; all their rulers are uncontrolled.
15 Toute leur méchanceté se montre à Guilgal; C'est là que je les ai pris en aversion. A cause de la malice de leurs oeuvres, Je les chasserai de ma maison. Je ne les aimerai plus; Tous leurs chefs sont des rebelles.
15 Nochtar a n‑olcas uile i nGilgeál. Go deimhin, is ann a líon mé dá bhfuath. De dheasca a ndrochghníomhartha díbreoidh mé as mo theach iad, agus ní bheidh grá agam dóibh níos mó. Ceannaircigh is ea a bhflatha uile.
15 Toda la maldad de ellos fué en Gilgal; allí, pues, les tomé aversión: por la malicia de sus obras echarélos de mi casa; no los amaré más; todos sus príncipes son desleales.
15 Alle ihre Bosheit geschieht zu Gilgal, daselbst bin ich ihnen feind; und ich will sie auch um ihres bösen Wesens willen aus meinem Hause stoßen und ihnen nicht mehr Liebe erzeigen; denn alle Ihre Fürsten sind Abtrünnige.
16 The rod has come on Ephraim, their root is dry, let them have no fruit; even though they give birth, I will put to death the dearest fruit of their bodies.
16 Éphraïm est frappé, sa racine est devenue sèche; Ils ne porteront plus de fruit; Et s'ils ont des enfants, Je ferai périr les objets de leur tendresse.
16 Tá Eafráim sleabhctha agus a bhfréamh seargtha; ní thabharfaidh siad toradh uathu go deo arís. Fiú má éiríonn leo clann a bhreith, maróidh mise toradh muirneach a mbroinne.
16 Ephraim fué herido, secóse su cepa, no hará más fruto: aunque engendren, yo mataré lo deseable de su vientre.
16 Ephraim ist geschlagen; ihre Wurzel ist verdorrt, daß sie keine Frucht mehr bringen können. Und ob sie gebären würden, will ich doch die liebe Frucht ihres Leibes töten.
17 My God will give them up because they did not give ear to him; they will be wandering among the nations.
17 Mon Dieu les rejettera, parce qu'ils ne l'ont pas écouté, Et ils seront errants parmi les nations.
