1 Give ear to the word of the Lord, O children of Israel; for the Lord has a cause against the people of this land, because there is no good faith in it, and no mercy and no knowledge of God in the land.
1 Écoutez la parole de l'Éternel, enfants d'Israël! Car l'Éternel a un procès avec les habitants du pays, Parce qu'il n'y a point de vérité, point de miséricorde, Point de connaissance de Dieu dans le pays.
1 Éistigí le briathar an Tiarna, a chlann Iosrael, mar tá an Tiarna in aighneas dlí le háitritheoirí na tíre. Óir níl aon dílse ná muintearas ná aithne ar Dhia sa tír,
1 OID palabra de Jehová, hijos de Israel, porque Jehová pleitea con los moradores de la tierra; porque no hay verdad, ni misericordia, ni conocimiento de Dios en la tierra.
1 Höret, ihr Kinder Israel, des HERRN Wort! denn der HERR hat Ursache, zu schelten, die im Lande wohnen; denn es ist keine Treue, keine Liebe, keine Erkenntnis Gottes im Lande;
2 There is cursing and broken faith, violent death and attacks on property, men are untrue in married life, houses are broken into, and there is blood touching blood.
2 Il n'y a que parjures et mensonges, Assassinats, vols et adultères; On use de violence, on commet meurtre sur meurtre.
2 ach tá mallachtú agus éitheach agus feallbhású, agus goid agus adhaltranas á n‑iomadú féin sa tír, agus dúnmharuithe ag baint na sál dá chéile inti.
2 Perjurar, y mentir, y matar, y hurtar y adulterar prevalecieron, y sangres se tocaron con sangres.
2 sondern Gotteslästern, Lügen, Morden, Stehlen und Ehebrechen hat überhandgenommen und eine Blutschuld kommt nach der andern.
3 Because of this the land will be dry, and everyone living in it will be wasted away, with the beasts of the field and the birds of heaven; even the fishes of the sea will be taken away.
3 C'est pourquoi le pays sera dans le deuil, Tous ceux qui l'habitent seront languissants, Et avec eux les bêtes des champs et les oiseaux du ciel; Même les poissons de la mer disparaîtront.
3 Dá dheasca sin triomóidh an tír agus meathlóidh a gcónaíonn inti, mar aon le beithígh an mhachaire agus éanlaith an aeir; agus fiú amháin éisc na farraige féin, rachaidh siad i léig. Ciontacht na Cléire
3 Por lo cual, se enlutará la tierra, y extenuaráse todo morador de ella, con las bestias del campo, y las aves del cielo: y aun los peces de la mar fallecerán.
3 Darum wird das Land jämmerlich stehen, und allen Einwohnern wird's übel gehen; denn es werden auch die Tiere auf dem Felde und die Vögel unter dem Himmel und die Fische im Meer weggerafft werden.
4 Let no man go to law or make protests, for your people are like those who go to law with a priest.
4 Mais que nul ne conteste, que nul ne se livre aux reproches; Car ton peuple est comme ceux qui disputent avec les sacrificateurs.
4 Ach ina dhiaidh sin féin, ná cúisítear aon duine den choitiantacht, ná cuirtear iomardú air, óir is tusa, a shagairt, is mian liom a chúisiú.
4 Ciertamente hombre no contienda ni reprenda á hombre, porque tu pueblo es como los que resisten al sacerdote.
4 Doch man darf nicht schelten noch jemand strafen; denn dein Volk ist wie die, so den Priester schelten.
5 You will not be able to keep on your feet by day, and by night the prophet will be falling down with you, and I will give your mother to destruction.
5 Tu tomberas de jour, Le prophète avec toi tombera de nuit, Et je détruirai ta mère.
5 Bainfear tuisle asat i lár an lae ghil, [tuisleoidh an fáidh mar aon leat san oíche] agus dítheoidh mé do mháthair.
5 Caerás por tanto en el día, y caerá también contigo el profeta de noche; y á tu madre talaré.
5 Darum sollst du bei Tage fallen und der Prophet des Nachts neben dir fallen; also will ich deine Mutter zu Grunde richten.
6 Destruction has overtaken my people because they have no knowledge; because you have given up knowledge, I will give you up, so that you will be no priest to me, because you have not kept in mind the law of your God, I will not keep your children in my memory.
6 Mon peuple est détruit, parce qu'il lui manque la connaissance. Puisque tu as rejeté la connaissance, Je te rejetterai, et tu seras dépouillé de mon sacerdoce; Puisque tu as oublié la loi de ton Dieu, J'oublierai aussi tes enfants.
6 Cheal eolais tá mo phobal á ndíothú. Ó chaith tusa uait an t‑eolas, caithfidh mise uaim thú as mo shagartacht; agus ó lig tusa teagasc do Dhé i ndíchuimhne, ligfidh mise do chlann i ndíchuimhne chomh maith.
6 Mi pueblo fué talado, porque le faltó sabiduría. Porque tú desechaste la sabiduría, yo te echaré del sacerdocio: y pues que olvidaste la ley de tu Dios, también yo me olvidaré de tus hijos.
6 Mein Volk ist dahin, darum daß es nicht lernen will. Denn du verwirfst Gottes Wort; darum will ich dich auch verwerfen, daß du nicht mein Priester sein sollst. Du vergißt das Gesetz deines Gottes; darum will ich auch deine Kinder vergessen.
7 Even while they were increasing in number they were sinning against me; I will let their glory be changed into shame.
7 Plus ils se sont multipliés, plus ils ont péché contre moi: Je changerai leur gloire en ignominie.

7 Conforme á su grandeza así pecaron contra mí: trocaré su honra en afrenta.
7 Je mehr ihrer wird, je mehr sie wider mich sündigen; darum will ich ihre Ehre zu Schanden machen.
8 The sin of my people is like food to them; and their desire is for their wrongdoing.
8 Ils se repaissent des péchés de mon peuple, Ils sont avides de ses iniquités.

8 Comen del pecado de mi pueblo, y en su maldad levantan su alma.
8 Sie fressen die Sündopfer meines Volks und sind begierig nach ihren Sünden.
9 And the priest will be like the people; I will give them punishment for their evil ways, and the reward of their acts.
9 Il en sera du sacrificateur comme du peuple; Je le châtierai selon ses voies, Je lui rendrai selon ses oeuvres.
9 Caithfear leis an sagart mar a chaithfear leis an bpobal; óir cúiteoidh mé leo a ndrochbhéasa, agróidh mé a n‑ainghníomhartha orthu.
9 Tal será el pueblo como el sacerdote: y visitaré sobre él sus caminos, y pagaréle conforme á sus obras.
9 Darum soll es dem Volk gleich wie dem Priester gehen; denn ich will ihr Tun heimsuchen und ihnen vergelten, wie sie verdienen,
10 They will have food, but they will not be full; they will be false to me, but they will not be increased, because they no longer give thought to the Lord.
10 Ils mangeront sans se rassasier, Ils se prostitueront sans multiplier, Parce qu'ils ont abandonné l'Éternel et ses commandements.
10 Íosfaidh siad ach ní bheidh a ndóthain acu; déanfaidh siad róstriapachas ach ní mhéadófar ar a líon, mar tá siad tar éis an Tiarna a thréigean,
10 Y comerán, mas no se hartarán; fornicarán, mas no se aumentarán: porque dejaron de atender á Jehová.
10 daß sie werden essen, und nicht satt werden, Hurerei treiben und sich nicht ausbreiten, darum daß sie den HERRN verlassen haben und ihn nicht achten.
11 Loose ways and new wine take away wisdom.

12 Mon peuple consulte son bois, Et c'est son bâton qui lui parle; Car l'esprit de prostitution égare, Et ils se prostituent loin de leur Dieu.
12 Iarrann siad comhairle ar a smut adhmaid, agus is é an cuaille acu a thugann faisnéis dóibh; go deimhin, is dúil sa striapachas a chuireann ar seachrán iad, agus is de dheasca striapachais a d'éirigh siad as bheith faoina nDia féin.
12 Mi pueblo á su madero pregunta, y su palo le responde: porque espíritu de fornicaciones lo engañó, y fornicaron debajo de sus dioses.
12 Mein Volk fragt sein Holz, und sein Stab soll ihm predigen; denn der Hurerei-Geist verführt sie, daß sie wider ihren Gott Hurerei treiben.
13 They make offerings on the tops of mountains, burning perfumes in high places, under trees of every sort, because their shade is good: and so your daughters are given up to loose ways and your brides are false to their husbands.
13 Ils sacrifient sur le sommet des montagnes, Ils brûlent de l'encens sur les collines, Sous les chênes, les peupliers, les térébinthes, Dont l'ombrage est agréable. C'est pourquoi vos filles se prostituent, Et vos belles-filles sont adultères.
13 Ar mhullaí na sléibhte ofrálann siad íobairtí, agus dónn siad túis ar na beanna faoin dair agus faoin stóracs agus faoin teiribint, mar gur taitneamhach a scáth. Is dá dheasca sin a théann bhur n‑iníonacha le striapachas, agus a dhéanann mná céile bhur mac adhaltranas.
13 Sobre las cabezas de los montes sacrificaron, é incensaron sobre los collados, debajo de encinas, y álamos, y olmos que tuviesen buena sombra: por tanto, vuestras hijas fornicarán, y adulterarán vuestras nueras.
13 Oben auf den Bergen opfern sie, und auf den Hügeln räuchern sie, unter den Eichen, Linden und Buchen; denn die haben feinen Schatten. Darum werden eure Töchter auch zu Huren und eure Bräute zu Ehebrechrinnen werden.
14 I will not give punishment to your daughters or your brides for their evil behaviour; for they make themselves separate with loose women, and make offerings with those who are used for sex purposes in the worship of the gods: the people who have no wisdom will be sent away.
14 Je ne punirai pas vos filles parce qu'elles se prostituent, Ni vos belles-filles parce qu'elles sont adultères, Car eux-mêmes vont à l'écart avec des prostituées, Et sacrifient avec des femmes débauchées. Le peuple insensé court à sa perte.
14 Ach ní chúiteoidh mé a striapachas le bhur n‑iníonacha, ná a gcuid adhaltranais le mná céile bhur mac; óir déanann siad san caidreamh le striapacha ar leithligh, agus ofrálann siadsan, na sagairt, íobairtí i gcuideachta meirdreach cultais. Sa tslí sin tá pobal gan chiall ag brostú leo ar aghaidh ar bhealach a bhasctha.
14 No visitaré sobre vuestras hijas cuando fornicaren, y sobre vuestras nueras cuando adulteraren: porque ellos ofrecen con las rameras, y con las malas mujeres sacrifican: por tanto, el pueblo sin entendimiento caerá.
14 Und ich will's auch nicht wehren, wenn eure Töchter und Bräute geschändet werden, weil ihr einen andern Gottesdienst anrichtet mit den Huren und opfert mit den Bübinnen. Denn das törichte Volk will geschlagen sein.
15 Do not you, O Israel, come into error; do not you, O Judah, come to Gilgal, or go up to Beth-aven, or take an oath, By the living Lord.
15 Si tu te livres à la prostitution, ô Israël, Que Juda ne se rende pas coupable; N'allez pas à Guilgal, ne montez pas à Beth Aven, Et ne jurez pas: L'Éternel est vivant!
15 Ach seachainse an mbeifeá féin ciontach, a Iosrael! Ná himígí go dtí Gilgeál, ná gabhaigí suas chun Béit Ávan, ná mionnaigí dar an Tiarna beo.
15 Si fornicarés tú, Israel, á lo menos no peque Judá: y no entréis en Gilgal, ni subáis á Beth-aven; ni juréis, Vive Jehová.
15 Willst du, Israel, ja huren, daß sich doch nur Juda nicht auch verschulde. Geht nicht hin gen Gilgal und kommt nicht hinauf gen Beth-Aven und schwört nicht: So wahr der HERR lebt!
16 For Israel is uncontrolled, like a cow which may not be controlled; now will the Lord give them food like a lamb in a wide place.
16 Parce qu'Israël se révolte comme une génisse indomptable, Maintenant l'Éternel le fera paître Comme un agneau dans de vastes plaines.
16 Go deimhin, tá Iosrael chomh ceanndána le bodóg stailceach! Agus an amhlaidh go gcaithfidh an Tiarna iad a aoireacht anois mar uain i bhfásach féir?
16 Porque como becerra cerrera se apartó Israel: ¿apacentarálos ahora Jehová como á carneros en anchura?
16 Denn Israel läuft wie eine tolle Kuh; so wird sie auch der HERR weiden lassen wie ein Lamm in der Irre.
17 Ephraim is joined to false gods; let him be.
17 Éphraïm est attaché aux idoles: laisse-le!

17 Denn Ephraim hat sich zu den Götzen gesellt; so laß ihn hinfahren.
18 Their drink has become bitter; they are completely false; her rulers take pleasure in shame.
18 A peine ont-ils cessé de boire Qu'ils se livrent à la prostitution; Leurs chefs sont avides d'ignominie.

18 Sie haben sich in die Schwelgerei und Hurerei gegeben; ihre Herren haben Lust dazu, daß sie Schande anrichten.
19 They are folded in the skirts of the wind; they will be shamed because of their offerings.
19 Le vent les enveloppa de ses ailes, Et ils auront honte de leurs sacrifices.
