1 And the Lord said to me, Give your love again to a woman who has a lover and is false to her husband, even as the Lord has love for the children of Israel, though they are turned to other gods and are lovers of grape-cakes.
1 L'Éternel me dit: Va encore, et aime une femme aimée d'un amant, et adultère; aime-la comme l'Éternel aime les enfants d'Israël, qui se tournent vers d'autres dieux et qui aiment les gâteaux de raisins.
1 “Imigh leat arís,” arsa an Tiarna liom, “tabhair grá do bhanadhaltrach a ghránn fear eile, faoi mar a thugann an Tiarna grá do chlann Iosrael, cé go n‑iompaíonn siad chun déithe eile agus go bhfuil dúil acu i gcístí rísíní.”
1 Y DIJOME otra vez Jehová: Ve, ama una mujer amada de su compañero, aunque adúltera, como el amor de Jehová para con los hijos de Israel; los cuales miran á dioses ajenos, y aman frascos de vino.
1 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Gehe noch einmal hin und buhle um ein buhlerisches und ehebrecherisches Weib, wie denn der HERR um die Kinder Israel buhlt, und sie sich doch zu fremden Göttern kehren und buhlen um eine Kanne Wein.
2 So I got her for myself for fifteen shekels of silver and a homer and a half of barley;
2 Je l'achetai pour quinze sicles d'argent, un homer d'orge et un léthec d'orge.
2 Cheannaigh mé dom féin í mar sin ar chúig sheicil déag airgid agus ómar go leith eorna.
2 Compréla entonces para mí por quince dineros de plata, y un homer y medio de cebada;
2 Und ich ward mit ihr eins um fünfzehn Silberlinge und anderthalb Scheffel Gerste
3 And I said to her, You are to be mine for a long space of time; you are not to be false to me, and no other man is to have you for his wife; and so will I be to you.
3 Et je lui dis: Reste longtemps pour moi, ne te livre pas à la prostitution, ne sois à aucun homme, et je serai de même envers toi.
3 Dúirt mé léi ansin: “Beidh ort lonnú liom go ciúin go ceann mórán laethanta eile gan aon striapachas a dhéanamh agus gan tú a bheith ag aon fhear eile agus gan aon chaidreamh agamsa leat ach oiread.”
3 Y díjele: Tú estarás por mía muchos días: no fornicarás, ni tomáras otro varón; ni tampoco yo vendré á ti.
3 und sprach zu ihr: Halt dich als die Meine eine lange Zeit und hure nicht und gehöre keinem andern an; denn ich will mich auch als den Deinen halten.
4 For the children of Israel will for a long time be without king and without ruler, without offerings and without pillars, and without ephod or images.
4 Car les enfants d'Israël resteront longtemps sans roi, sans chef, sans sacrifice, sans statue, sans éphod, et sans théraphim.
4 Mar ar feadh mórán laethanta fágfar clann Iosrael gan rí, gan flaith, gan íobairt, gan liagán, gan éafód, gan íola tí.
4 Porque muchos días estarán los hijos de Israel sin rey, y sin príncipe, y sin sacrificio, y sin estatua, y sin ephod, y sin teraphim.
4 Denn die Kinder Israel werden lange Zeit ohne König, ohne Fürsten, ohne Opfer, ohne Altar, ohne Leibrock und ohne Heiligtum bleiben.
5 And after that, the children of Israel will come back and go in search of the Lord their God and David their king; and they will come in fear to the Lord and to his mercies in the days to come.
5 Après cela, les enfants d'Israël reviendront; ils chercheront l'Éternel, leur Dieu, et David, leur roi; et ils tressailliront à la vue de l'Éternel et de sa bonté, dans la suite des temps.
