1 Then certain of the responsible men of Israel came to me and took their seats before me.
1 Quelques-uns des anciens d'Israël vinrent auprès de moi et s'assirent devant moi.
1 Tháinig dream de sheanóirí Iosrael chugam ansin agus shuigh os mo chomhair.
1 Y VINIERON á mí algunos de los ancianos de Israel, y sentáronse delante de mí.
1 Und es kamen etliche von den Ältesten Israels zu mir und setzten sich vor mir.
2 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
2 Et la parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:
2 Tháinig briathar an Tiarna chugam:
2 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
2 Da geschah des HERRN Wort zu mir und sprach:
3 Son of man, these men have taken their false gods into their hearts and put before their faces the sin which is the cause of their fall: am I to give ear when they come to me for directions?
3 Fils de l'homme, ces gens-là portent leurs idoles dans leur coeur, et ils attachent les regards sur ce qui les a fait tomber dans l'iniquité. Me laisserai-je consulter par eux?
3 “A mhic an duine, tá a gcroí istigh ag an dream seo sna híola atá acu; breathnaíonn siad le taitneamh ar bhunchúis a n‑urchóide. Ar chóir dom ligean dóibh mo thuairisc a chur ar chor ar bith?
3 Hijo del hombre, estos hombres han puesto sus ídolos en su corazón, y establecido el tropiezo de su maldad delante de su rostro: ¿acaso he de ser yo verdaderamente consultado por ellos?
3 Menschenkind, diese Leute hangen mit ihrem Herzen an ihren Götzen und halten an dem Anstoß zu ihrer Missetat; sollte ich denn ihnen antworten, wenn sie mich fragen?
4 For this cause say to them, These are the words of the Lord: Every man of Israel who has taken his false god into his heart, and put before his face the sin which is the cause of his fall, and comes to the prophet; I the Lord will give him an answer by myself in agreement with the number of his false gods;
4 C'est pourquoi parle-leur, et dis-leur: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Tout homme de la maison d'Israël qui porte ses idoles dans son coeur, et qui attache les regards sur ce qui l'a fait tomber dans son iniquité, -s'il vient s'adresser au prophète, -moi, l'Éternel, je lui répondrai, malgré la multitude de ses idoles,
4 Dá bhrí sin, labhair leo; abair seo leo: ‘Seo mar a deir an Tiarna Dia: Cibé fear de mhuintir Iosrael a bhfuil a chroí istigh sna híola atá aige agus a bhreathnaíonn le taitneamh ar bhunchúis a urchóide agus a thagann ina dhiaidh sin chuig an bhfáidh, gheobhaidh sé freagra uaimse, an Tiarna, mar gheall ar iomad a íol’,
4 Háblales por tanto, y diles: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Cualquier hombre de la casa de Israel que hubiere puesto sus ídolos en su corazón, y establecido el tropiezo de su maldad delante de su rostro, y viniere al profeta, yo Jehová responderé al que viniere en la multitud de sus ídolos;
4 Darum rede mit ihnen und sage zu ihnen: So spricht der HERR HERR: Welcher Mensch vom Hause Israel mit dem Herzen an seinen Götzen hängt und hält an dem Anstoß zu seiner Missetat und kommt zum Propheten, dem will ich, der HERR, antworten, wie er verdient hat mit seiner großen Abgötterei,
5 So as to take the children of Israel in the thoughts of their hearts, because they have become strange to me through their false gods.
5 afin de saisir dans leur propre coeur ceux de la maison d'Israël qui se sont éloignés de moi avec toutes leurs idoles.
5 ionas go meallfaidh mé chugam na croíthe de mhuintir Iosrael go léir a thug cúl liom ar son a n‑íol.
5 Para tomar á la casa de Israel en su corazón, que se han apartado de mí todos ellos en sus ídolos.
5 auf daß ich das Haus Israel fasse an ihrem Herzen, darum daß sie alle von mir gewichen sind durch ihre Abgötterei.
6 For this cause say to the children of Israel, These are the words of the Lord: Come back and give up your false gods and let your faces be turned from your disgusting things.
6 C'est pourquoi dis à la maison d'Israël: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Revenez, et détournez-vous de vos idoles, détournez les regards de toutes vos abominations!
6 “Dá bhrí sin, abair le muintir Iosrael: ‘Seo mar a deir an Tiarna Dia: Déanaigí aithrí, iompaígí ó bhur n‑íola agus tréigigí bhur n‑imeachtaí gránna uile.
6 Por tanto di á la casa de Israel: Así dice el Señor Jehová: Convertíos, y volveos de vuestros ídolos, y apartad vuestro rostro de todas vuestras abominaciones.
6 Darum sollst du zum Hause Israel sagen: So spricht der HERR HERR: Kehret und wendet euch von eurer Abgötterei und wendet euer Angesicht von allen euren Greueln.
7 When any one of the men of Israel, or of those from other lands who are living in Israel, who has become strange to me, and takes his false gods into his heart, and puts before his face the sin which is the cause of his fall, comes to the prophet to get directions from me; I the Lord will give him an answer by myself:
7 Car tout homme de la maison d'Israël, ou des étrangers séjournant en Israël, qui s'est éloigné de moi, qui porte ses idoles dans son coeur, et qui attache les regards sur ce qui l'a fait tomber dans son iniquité, -s'il vient s'adresser au prophète pour me consulter par lui, -moi, l'Éternel, je lui répondrai par moi.
7 Cibé fear de mhuintir Iosrael - nó de na coimhthígh atá ag cur fúthu in Iosrael - a thugann cúl liomsa, a ghlacann chuige féin ina chroí istigh na híola atá aige, a shuíonn bunchúis a urchóide os a chomhair amach agus a thagann ina dhiaidhsean chuig fáidh ag cur mo thuairisce, freagróidh mise, an Tiarna, é de mo dheoin féin.
7 Porque cualquier hombre de la casa de Israel, y de los extranjeros que moran en Israel, que se hubiere apartado de andar en pos de mí, y hubiere puesto sus ídolos en su corazón, y establecido delante de su rostro el tropiezo de su maldad, y viniere al profeta para preguntarle por mí, yo Jehová le responderé por mí mismo:
7 Denn welcher Mensch vom Hause Israel oder welcher Fremdling, so in Israel wohnt, von mir weicht und mit seinem Herzen an seinen Götzen hängt und an dem Ärgernis seiner Abgötterei hält und zum Propheten kommt, daß er durch ihn mich frage: dem will ich, der HERR, selbst antworten;
8 And my face will be turned against that man, and I will make him a sign and a common saying, cutting him off from among my people; and you will be certain that I am the Lord.
8 Je tournerai ma face contre cet homme, je ferai de lui un signe et un sujet de sarcasme, et je l'exterminerai du milieu de mon peuple. Et vous saurez que je suis l'Éternel.
8 Diúltóidh mé don fhear sin, déanfaidh mé sampla agus solaoid de, gearrfaidh mé amach é as lár mo phobail, agus tuigfidh sibh gur mise an Tiarna.
8 Y pondré mi rostro contra aquel hombre, y le pondré por señal y por fábula, y yo lo cortaré de entre mi pueblo; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.
8 und will mein Angesicht wider ihn setzen, daß er soll wüst und zum Zeichen und Sprichwort werden, und ich will ihn aus meinem Volk ausrotten, daß ihr erfahren sollt, ich sei der HERR.
9 And if the prophet, tricked by deceit, says anything, it is I the Lord by whom he has been tricked, and I will put out my hand against him, and he will be cut off from among my people Israel.
9 Si le prophète se laisse séduire, s'il prononce une parole, c'est moi, l'Éternel, qui aurai séduit ce prophète; j'étendrai ma main contre lui, et je le détruirai du milieu de mon peuple d'Israël.
9 Má bhíonn an fáidh meallta, mise, an Tiarna, a mheall an fáidh sin; sínfidh mé amach mo lámh ina choinne agus scriosfaidh mé é as lár mo phobail, Iosrael.
9 Y el profeta, cuando fuere engañado y hablare palabra, yo Jehová engañé al tal profeta; y extenderé mi mano sobre él, y raeréle de en medio de mi pueblo de Israel.
9 Wo aber ein Prophet sich betören läßt, etwas zu reden, den habe ich, der HERR, betört, und will meine Hand über ihn ausstrecken und ihn aus meinem Volk Israel ausrotten.
10 And the punishment of their sin will be on them: the sin of the prophet will be the same as the sin of him who goes to him for directions;
10 Ils porteront ainsi la peine de leur iniquité; la peine du prophète sera comme la peine de celui qui consulte,
10 Fulaingeoidh siad pionós agus beidh an pionós céanna ann don fháidh agus don duine a chuireann tuairisc;
10 Y llevarán su maldad: como la maldad del que pregunta, así será la maldad del profeta;
10 Also sollen sie beide ihre Missetat tragen; wie die Missetat des Fragers, also soll auch sein die Missetat des Propheten,
11 So that the children of Israel may no longer go wandering away from me, or make themselves unclean with all their wrongdoing; but they will be my people, and I will be their God, says the Lord.
11 afin que la maison d'Israël ne s'égare plus loin de moi, et qu'elle ne se souille plus par toutes ses transgressions. Alors ils seront mon peuple, et je serai leur Dieu, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
11 ionas nach seachránfaidh muintir Iosrael uaim arís agus nach dtruailleoidh siad iad féin níos mó lena gcionta, ach go mbeidh siad ina bpobal agamsa agus mise i mo Dhia acusan - an Tiarna a labhraíonn.’ ” Freagracht Phearsanta
11 Para que no yerren más la casa de Israel de en pos de mí: ni más se contaminen en todas sus rebeliones, y me sean por pueblo, y yo les sea por Dios, dice el Señor Jehová.
11 auf daß das Haus Israel nicht mehr irregehe von mir und sich nicht mehr verunreinige in aller seiner Übertretung; sondern sie sollen mein Volk sein, und ich will ihr Gott sein, spricht der HERR HERR.
12 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
12 La parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:
12 Tháinig briathar an Tiarna chugam:
12 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
12 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:
13 Son of man, when a land, sinning against me, does wrong, and my hand is stretched out against it, and the support of its bread is broken, and I make it short of food, cutting off man and beast from it:
13 Fils de l'homme, lorsqu'un pays pécherait contre moi en se livrant à l'infidélité, et que j'étendrais ma main sur lui, -si je brisais pour lui le bâton du pain, si je lui envoyais la famine, si j'en exterminais les hommes et les bêtes,
13 “A mhic an duine, dá bpeacódh tír i mo choinne trí mhídhílseacht agus go sínfinn amach mo lámh ina choinne, go mbrisfinn a stór aráin agus gorta a sheoladh chuige agus gach fear agus ainmhí ann a scrios as;
13 Hijo del hombre, cuando la tierra pecare contra mí rebelándose pérfidamente, y extendiere yo mi mano sobre ella, y le quebrantare el arrimo del pan, y enviare en ella hambre, y talare de ella hombres y bestias;
13 Du Menschenkind, wenn ein Land an mir sündigt und dazu mich verschmäht, so will ich meine Hand über dasselbe ausstrecken und den Vorrat des Brotes wegnehmen und will Teuerung hineinschicken, daß ich Menschen und Vieh darin ausrotte.
14 Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, only themselves would they keep safe by their righteousness, says the Lord.
14 et qu'il y eût au milieu de lui ces trois hommes, Noé, Daniel et Job, ils sauveraient leur âme par leur justice, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
14 dá mbeadh fiú an triúr seo ann, Naoi, Dainéil agus Iób, ní thabharfaidís slán de bharr a bhfíréantachta ach a mbeatha féin amháin - an Tiarna Dia a labhraíonn.
14 Si estuvieren en medio de ella estos tres varones, Noé, Daniel, y Job, ellos por su justicia librarán su vida, dice el Señor Jehová.
14 Und wenn dann gleich die drei Männer Noah, Daniel und Hiob darin wären, so würden sie allein ihre eigene Seele erretten durch ihre Gerechtigkeit, spricht der HERR HERR.
15 Or if I send evil beasts through the land causing destruction and making it waste, so that no man may go through because of the beasts:
15 Si je faisais parcourir le pays par des bêtes féroces qui le dépeupleraient, s'il devenait un désert où personne ne passerait à cause de ces bêtes,
15 Dá scaoilfinn ainmhithe allta ar fud na tíre agus go gcreachfaidís agus go mbánóidís é ionas nach mbeadh sé intaistil mar gheall ar na hainmhithe;
15 Y si hiciere pasar malas bestias por la tierra, y la asolaren, y fuere desolada que no haya quien pase á causa de las bestias,
15 Und wenn ich böse Tiere in das Land bringen würde, die die Leute aufräumten und es verwüsteten, daß niemand darin wandeln könnte vor den Tieren,
16 Even if these three men were in it, by my life, says the Lord, they would not keep safe their sons or daughters, but only themselves, and the land would be made waste.
16 et qu'il y eût au milieu de lui ces trois hommes, je suis vivant! dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, ils ne sauveraient ni fils ni filles, eux seuls seraient sauvés, et le pays deviendrait un désert.
16 dá mbeadh fiú an triúr seo ann, dar mo bheatha - an Tiarna Dia a labhraíonn - ní thabharfaidís mac ná iníon slán ach iad féin amháin agus bhánófaí an talamh.
16 Y estos tres varones estuvieren en medio de ella, vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, ni á sus hijos ni á sus hijas librarán; ellos solos serán libres, y la tierra será asolada.
16 und diese drei Männer wären auch darin: so wahr ich lebe, spricht der HERR HERR, sie würden weder Söhne noch Töchter erretten, sondern allein sich selbst, und das Land müßte öde werden.
17 Or if I send a sword against that land, and say, Sword, go through the land, cutting off from it man and beast:
17 Ou si j'amenais l'épée contre ce pays, si je disais: Que l'épée parcoure le pays! si j'en exterminais les hommes et les bêtes,
17 Nó dá dtabharfainn claíomh ar an tír sin agus a rá: Téadh an claíomh tríd an tír, agus go scriosfainn gach fear agus ainmhí amach as;
17 O si yo trajere espada sobre la tierra, y dijere: Espada, pasa por la tierra; é hiciere talar de ella hombres y bestias,
17 Oder ob ich das Schwert kommen ließe über das Land und spräche: Schwert, fahre durch das Land! und würde also Menschen und Vieh ausrotten,
18 Even if these three men were in it, by my life, says the Lord, they would not keep safe their sons or daughters, but only themselves.
18 et qu'il y eût au milieu de lui ces trois hommes, je suis vivant! dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, ils ne sauveraient ni fils ni filles, mais eux seuls seraient sauvés.
18 dá mbeadh fiú an triúr seo ann, ní thabharfaidís mac ná iníon slán ach iad féin amháin, dar mo bheo - is é an Tiarna a labhraíonn.
18 Y estos tres varones estuvieren en medio de ella, vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, no librarán sus hijos ni sus hijas; ellos solos serán libres.
18 und die drei Männer wären darin: so wahr ich lebe, spricht der HERR HERR, sie würden weder Söhne noch Töchter erretten, sondern sie allein würden errettet sein.
19 Or if I send disease into that land, letting loose my wrath on it in blood, cutting off from it man and beast:
19 Ou si j'envoyais la peste dans ce pays, si je répandais contre lui ma fureur par la mortalité, pour en exterminer les hommes et les bêtes,
19 Nó dá seolfainn plá chun na tíre sin agus m'fhearg a ídiú ann le fuil ionas go scriosfaí gach fear agus ainmhí ann;
19 O si pestilencia enviare sobre esa tierra, y derramare mi ira sobre ella en sangre, para talar de ella hombres y bestias,
19 Oder so ich Pestilenz in das Land schicken und meinen Grimm über dasselbe ausschütten würde mit Blutvergießen, also daß ich Menschen und Vieh ausrottete,
20 Even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, by my life, says the Lord, they would not keep son or daughter safe; only themselves would they keep safe through their righteousness.
20 et qu'il y eût au milieu de lui Noé, Daniel et Job, je suis vivant! dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, ils ne sauveraient ni fils ni filles, mais ils sauveraient leur âme par leur justice.
20 dá mbeadh fiú Naoi, Dainéil agus Iób ann, dar mo bheatha - an Tiarna Dia a labhraíonn - ní thabharfaidís slán de bharr a bhfíréantachta ach a mbeatha féin amháin.
20 Y estuvieren en medio de ella Noé, Daniel, y Job, vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, no librarán hijo ni hija; ellos por su justicia librarán su vida.
20 und Noah, Daniel und Hiob wären darin: so wahr ich lebe, spricht der HERR HERR, würden sie weder Söhne noch Töchter, sondern allein ihre eigene Seele durch ihre Gerechtigkeit erretten.
21 For this is what the Lord has said: How much more when I send my four bitter punishments on Jerusalem, the sword and need of food and evil beasts and disease, cutting off from it man and beast?
21 Oui, ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Quoique j'envoie contre Jérusalem mes quatre châtiments terribles, l'épée, la famine, les bêtes féroces et la peste, pour en exterminer les hommes et les bêtes,
21 “Seo mar a deir an Tiarna: Nach mó fós a tharlóidh nuair a ghearrfaidh mé mo cheithre phionós nimhneacha ar Iarúsailéim - an claíomh, an gorta, ainmhithe allta agus an phlá - ionas go scriosfar ann gach fear agus ainmhí!
21 Por lo cual así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¿Cuánto más, si mis cuatro malos juicios, espada, y hambre, y mala bestia, y pestilencia, enviare contra Jerusalem, para talar de ella hombres y bestias?
21 Denn so spricht der HERR HERR: So ich meine vier bösen Strafen, als Schwert, Hunger, böse Tiere und Pestilenz, über Jerusalem schicken werde, daß ich darin ausrotte Menschen und Vieh,
22 But truly, there will still be a small band who will be safe, even sons and daughters: and they will come out to you, and you will see their ways and their doings: and you will be comforted about the evil which I have sent on Jerusalem, even about everything I have sent on it.
22 il y aura néanmoins un reste qui échappera, qui en sortira, des fils et des filles. Voici, ils arriveront auprès de vous; vous verrez leur conduite et leurs actions, et vous vous consolerez du malheur que je fais venir sur Jérusalem, de tout ce que je fais venir sur elle.
22 Ach má fhágtar aon duine ann le bhur mic agus bhur n‑iníonacha a tharrtháil; nuair a thiocfaidh siad chugaibh agus nuair a fheicfidh sibh a n‑iompar agus a ngníomhartha, gheobhaidh sibh sólás cúitimh as an olc a thug mé ar Iarúsailéim, as ar tharraing mé anuas uirthi.
22 Sin embargo, he aquí quedarán en ella algunos residuos, hijos é hijas, que serán llevados fuera: he aquí que ellos entrarán á vosotros, y veréis su camino y sus hechos; y tomaréis consolación del mal que hice venir sobre Jerusalem, de todas las cosas que traje sobre ella.
22 siehe, so sollen etliche übrige darin davonkommen, die herausgebracht werden, Söhne und Töchter, und zu euch herkommen, daß ihr sehen werdet ihr Wesen und Tun und euch trösten über dem Unglück, das ich über Jerusalem habe kommen lassen samt allem andern, was ich über sie habe kommen lassen.
23 They will give you comfort when you see their ways and their doings: and you will be certain that not for nothing have I done all the things I have done in it, says the Lord.
23 Ils vous consoleront, quand vous verrez leur conduite et leurs actions; et vous reconnaîtrez que ce n'est pas sans raison que je fais tout ce que je lui fais, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
