1 The word which came to Jeremiah about all the Jews who were living in the land of Egypt, in Migdol and at Tahpanhes and at Noph and in the country of Pathros, saying,
1 La parole fut adressée à Jérémie sur tous les Juifs demeurant au pays d'Égypte, demeurant à Migdol, à Tachpanès, à Noph et au pays de Pathros, en ces mots:
1 “An briathar a tháinig go Irimia le haghaidh na nGiúdach uile a chónaíonn i gcríoch na hÉigipte atá ag cur fúthu ag Migdeol, Tachpanaes, Nof agus tír Phatros.
1 PALABRA que fué á Jeremías acerca de todos los Judíos que moraban en la tierra de Egipto, que moraban en Migdol, y en Taphnes, y en Noph, y en tierra de Pathros, diciendo:
1 Dies ist das Wort, das zu Jeremia geschah an alle Juden, so in Ägyptenland wohnten, nämlich so zu Migdol, zu Thachpanhes, zu Noph und im Lande Pathros wohnten, und sprach:
2 The Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: You have seen all the evil which I have sent on Jerusalem and on all the towns of Judah; and now, this day they are waste and unpeopled;
2 Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Vous avez vu tous les malheurs que j'ai fait venir sur Jérusalem et sur toutes les villes de Juda; voici, elles ne sont plus aujourd'hui que des ruines, et il n'y a plus d'habitants,
2 “Is mar seo a deir Tiarna na Slua, Dia Iosrael: ‘Chonaic sibh an t‑anró uile a thug mise ar Iarúsailéim agus ar bhailte Iúdá; inniu tá siad ina bhfothracha gan cónaí iontu.
2 Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Vosotros habéis visto todo el mal que traje sobre Jerusalem y sobre todas las ciudades de Judá: y he aquí que ellas están el día de hoy asoladas, y ni hay en ellas morador;
2 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Ihr habt gesehen all das Übel, das ich habe kommen lassen über Jerusalem und über alle Städte in Juda; und siehe, heutigestages sind sie wüst, und wohnt niemand darin;
3 Because of the evil which they have done, moving me to wrath by burning perfumes in worship to other gods, who were not their gods or yours or the gods of their fathers.
3 à cause de la méchanceté avec laquelle ils ont agi pour m'irriter, en allant encenser et servir d'autres dieux, inconnus à eux, à vous et à vos pères.
3 Tá sin amhlaidh mar gheall ar an uile olc a rinne siad, do mo bhrostú chun feirge, mar go ndeachaigh siad a loscadh túise agus a fhónamh do dhéithe eachtrannacha nárbh aithne dóibh féin ná daoibhse, ná do bhur sinsir.
3 A causa de la maldad de ellos que cometieron para hacerme enojar, yendo á ofrecer sahumerios, honrando dioses ajenos que ellos no habían conocido, vosotros, ni vuestros padres.
3 und das um ihrer Bosheit willen, die sie taten, daß sie mich erzürnten und hingingen und räucherten und dienten andern Göttern, welche weder sie noch ihr noch eure Väter kannten.
4 And I sent all my servants the prophets to you, getting up early and sending them, saying, Do not do this disgusting thing which is hated by me.
4 Je vous ai envoyé tous mes serviteurs, les prophètes, je les ai envoyés dès le matin, pour vous dire: Ne faites pas ces abominations, que je hais.
4 Chuir mise chugaibh mo sheirbhísigh na fáithe gan scor; chuir mise iad lena rá: Ná déanaigí an ní gráiniúil seo is fuath liomsa.
4 Y envié á vosotros á todos mis siervos los profetas, madrugando y enviándolos, diciendo: No hagáis ahora esta cosa abominable que yo aborrezco.
4 Und ich sandte stets zu euch alle meine Knechte, die Propheten, und ließ euch sagen: Tut doch nicht solche Greuel, die ich hasse.
5 But they gave no attention, and their ears were not open so that they might be turned from their evil-doing and from burning perfume to other gods.
5 Mais ils n'ont pas écouté, ils n'ont pas prêté l'oreille, ils ne sont pas revenus de leur méchanceté, et ils n'ont pas cessé d'offrir de l'encens à d'autres dieux.
5 Ach ní éisteoidís, ní mó a thabharfaidís aire, agus ligean dá n‑oilc agus gan túis a loscadh a thuilleadh do dhéithe éachtrannacha.
5 Mas no oyeron ni inclinaron su oído para convertirse de su maldad, para no ofrecer sahumerios á dioses ajenos.
5 Aber sie gehorchten nicht, neigten auch ihre Ohren nicht, daß sie von ihrer Bosheit sich bekehrt und andern Göttern nicht geräuchert hätten.
6 Because of this, my passion and my wrath were let loose, burning in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are waste and unpeopled as at this day.
6 Ma colère et ma fureur se sont répandues, et ont embrasé les villes de Juda et les rues de Jérusalem, qui ne sont plus que des ruines et un désert, comme on le voit aujourd'hui.
6 Mar sin, doirteadh amach mo bhruth agus m'fhearg, agus lasadh í i mbailte Iúdá agus i sráideanna Iarúsailéim, ionas go bhfuil siad ina bhfásach bánaithe go dtí an lá inniu féin.’
6 Derramóse por tanto mi saña y mi furor, y encendióse en las ciudades de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalem, y tornáronse en soledad y en destrucción, como hoy.
6 Darum ging auch mein Zorn und Grimm an und entbrannte über die Städte Juda's und über die Gassen zu Jerusalem, daß sie zur Wüste und Öde geworden sind, wie es heutigestages steht.
7 So now, the Lord, the God of armies, the God of Israel, has said, Why are you doing this great evil against yourselves, causing every man and woman, little child and baby at the breast among you in Judah to be cut off till not one is still living;
7 Maintenant ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Pourquoi vous faites-vous à vous-mêmes un si grand mal, que de faire exterminer du milieu de Juda hommes, femmes, enfants et nourrissons, en sorte qu'il n'y ait plus de vous aucun reste?
7 Agus anois, is mar seo a labhraíonn an Tiarna, Dia na Slua, Dia Iosrael: ‘Cad chuige a dtabharfadh sibh an t‑anró céanna oraibh féin? An mian libh an uile dhuine idir fhir agus mhná, leanaí agus naíonáin a ghearradh amach as lár Iúdá, ionas nach bhfágfar fuíoll beo agaibh,
7 Ahora pues, así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: ¿Por qué hacéis tan grande mal contra vuestras almas, para ser talados varón y mujer, niño y mamante, de en medio de Judá, sin que os quede residuo alguno;
7 Nun, so spricht der HERR, der Gott Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Warum tut ihr doch so großes Übel wider euer eigen Leben, damit unter euch ausgerottet werden Mann und Weib, Kind und Säugling aus Juda und nichts von euch übrigbleibe,
8 Moving me to wrath with the work of your hands, burning perfumes to other gods in the land of Egypt, where you have gone to make a place for yourselves, so that you may become a curse and a name of shame among all the nations of the earth?
8 Pourquoi m'irritez-vous par les oeuvres de vos mains, en offrant de l'encens aux autres dieux du pays d'Égypte, où vous êtes venus pour y demeurer, afin de vous faire exterminer et d'être un objet de malédiction et d'opprobre parmi toutes les nations de la terre?
8 trí mise a bhrostú chun feirge le hoibreacha bhur lámha féin, ag loscadh túise do dhéithe eachtrannacha i dtír na hÉigipte, áit ar tháinig sibh a chónaí, do bhur mbascadh féin, le go mbeadh sibh mar mhallú agus mar cheap magaidh i measc ciníocha an domhain?
8 Haciéndome enojar con las obras de vuestras manos, ofreciendo sahumerios á dioses ajenos en la tierra de Egipto, adonde habéis entrado para morar, de suerte que os acabéis, y seáis por maldición y por oprobio á todas las gentes de la tierra?
8 und erzürnt mich so durch eurer Hände Werke und räuchert andern Göttern in Ägyptenland, dahin ihr gezogen seid, daselbst zu herbergen, auf daß ihr ausgerottet und zum Fluch und zur Schmach werdet unter allen Heiden auf Erden?
9 Have you no memory of the evil-doing of your fathers, and the evil-doing of the kings of Judah, and the evil-doing of their wives, and the evil which you yourselves have done, and the evil which your wives have done, in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
9 Avez-vous oublié les crimes de vos pères, les crimes des rois de Juda, les crimes de leurs femmes, vos crimes et les crimes de vos femmes, commis dans le pays de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem?
9 Ar lig sibh i ndearmad cionta bhur sinsear, cionta ríthe Iosrael agus cionta a bhflatha, bhur gcionta féin agus cionta bhur mban céile a rinneadh i dtír Iúdá agus i sráideanna Iarúsailéim?
9 ¿Os habéis olvidado de las maldades de vuestros padres, y de las maldades de los reyes de Judá, y de las maldades de sus mujeres, y de vuestras maldades, y de las maldades de vuestras mujeres, que hicieron en tierra de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalem?
9 Habt ihr vergessen das Unglück eurer Väter, das Unglück der Könige Juda's, das Unglück ihrer Weiber, dazu euer eigenes Unglück und eurer Weiber Unglück, das euch begegnet ist im Lande Juda und auf den Gassen zu Jerusalem?
10 Even to this day their hearts are not broken, and they have no fear, and have not gone in the way of my law or of my rules which I gave to you and to your fathers.
10 Ils ne se sont point humiliés jusqu'à ce jour, ils n'ont point eu de crainte, ils n'ont point suivi ma loi et mes commandements, que j'ai mis devant vous et devant vos pères.
10 Go dtí inniu féin níl uamhan ná aiféala orthu; níor shiúil siad i mo dhlíse ná sna reachta a chuir mé romhaibh, mar a chuir mé roimh bhur sinsir.’
10 No se han morigerado hasta el día de hoy, ni han tenido temor, ni han caminado en mi ley, ni en mis estatutos que puse delante de vosotros y delante de vuestros padres.
10 Noch sind sie bis auf diesen Tag nicht gedemütigt, fürchten sich auch nicht und wandeln nicht in meinem Gesetz und den Rechten, die ich euch und euren Vätern vorgestellt habe.
11 So this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: See, my face will be turned against you for evil, for the cutting off of all Judah;
11 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Voici, je tourne ma face contre vous pour faire du mal, et pour exterminer tout Juda.
11 “Dá bhri sin, is mar seo a deir Tiarna na Slua, Dia Iosrael: ‘Anois cuirfidh mise m'aghaidh in bhur n‑aghaidhse chun oilc, agus do dhíothú Iúdá uile.
11 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: He aquí que yo pongo mi rostro en vosotros para mal, y para destruir á todo Judá.
11 Darum spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels, also: Siehe, ich will mein Angesicht wider euch richten zum Unglück, und ganz Juda soll ausgerottet werden.
12 And I will take the last of Judah, whose minds are fixed on going into the land of Egypt and stopping there, and they will all come to their end, falling in the land of Egypt by the sword and by being short of food and by disease; death will overtake them, from the least to the greatest, death by the sword and by need of food: they will become an oath and a cause of wonder and a curse and a name of shame.
12 Je prendrai les restes de Juda qui ont tourné le visage pour aller au pays d'Égypte, afin d'y demeurer; ils seront tous consumés, ils tomberont dans le pays d'Égypte; ils seront consumés par l'épée, par la famine, depuis le plus petit jusqu'au plus grand; ils périront par l'épée et par la famine; et ils seront un sujet d'exécration, d'épouvante, de malédiction et d'opprobre.
12 Scriosfaidh mé fuíoll Iúdá a thug a n‑aighthe a dhul go tír na hÉigipte chun cónaí ansin; éagfaidh siad uile i dtír na hÉigipte; titfidh siad leis an gclaíomh nó díothófar iad leis an ngorta, ó bheag go mór éagfaidh siad leis an gclaíomh agus leis an ngorta; beidh siad ina mallú agus ina n‑uafás, ina mallacht agus ina gceap magaidh.
12 Y tomaré el resto de Judá que pusieron sus rostros para entrar en tierra de Egipto para morar allí, y en tierra de Egipto serán todos consumidos, caerán á cuchillo, serán consumidos de hambre, á cuchillo y hambre morirán desde el más pequeño hasta el mayor; y serán por juramento, y por espanto, y por maldición, y por oprobio.
12 Und ich will die übrigen aus Juda nehmen, so ihr Angesicht gerichtet haben, nach Ägyptenland zu ziehen, daß sie daselbst herbergen; es soll ein Ende mit ihnen allen werden in Ägyptenland. Durchs Schwert sollen sie fallen, und durch Hunger umkommen, beide, klein und groß; sie sollen durch Schwert und Hunger sterben und sollen ein Schwur, Wunder, Fluch und Schmach werden.
13 For I will send punishment on those who are living in the land of Egypt, as I have sent punishment on Jerusalem, by the sword and by need of food and by disease:
13 Je châtierai ceux qui demeurent au pays d'Égypte, comme j'ai châtié Jérusalem, par l'épée, par la famine et par la peste.
13 Smachtóidh mise an dream a chónaíonn i dtír na hÉigipte chomh dian céanna agus a smachtaigh mé Iarúsailéim, leis an gclaíomh, leis an ngorta agus leis an bplá.
13 Pues visitaré á los que moran en tierra de Egipto, como visité á Jerusalem, con cuchillo, y con hambre, y con pestilencia.
13 Ich will auch die Einwohner in Ägyptenland mit Schwert, Hunger und Pestilenz heimsuchen, gleichwie ich zu Jerusalem getan habe,
14 So that not one of the rest of Judah, who have gone into the land of Egypt and are living there, will get away or keep his life, to come back to the land of Judah where they are hoping to come back and be living again: for not one will come back, but only those who are able to get away.
14 Nul n'échappera, ne fuira, parmi les restes de Juda qui sont venus pour demeurer au pays d'Égypte, avec l'intention de retourner dans le pays de Juda, où ils ont le désir de retourner s'établir; car ils n'y retourneront pas, sinon quelques réchappés.
14 De fhuíoll Iúdá a chuaigh go dtí an Éigipt chun cónaí ann, ní rachaidh as agus ní mhairfidh beo aon duine chun filleadh go tír Iúdá mar a bhfuil fonn orthu cónaí aris. Ní fhillfidh aon duine díobh, ach dornán beag dídeanach.’ ”
14 Y del resto de Judá que entraron en tierra de Egipto para morar allí, no habrá quien escape, ni quien quede vivo, para volver á la tierra de Judá, por la cual suspiran ellos por volver para habitar allí: porque no volverán sino los que escaparen.
14 daß aus den übrigen Juda's keiner soll entrinnen noch übrigbleiben, die doch darum hierher gekommen sind nach Ägyptenland zur Herberge, daß sie wiederum ins Land Juda möchten, dahin sie gerne wiederkommen wollten und wohnen; aber es soll keiner wieder dahin kommen, außer, welche von hinnen fliehen.
15 Then all the men who had knowledge that their wives were burning perfumes to other gods, and all the women who were present, a great meeting, answering Jeremiah, said,
15 Tous les hommes qui savaient que leurs femmes offraient de l'encens à d'autres dieux, toutes les femmes qui se trouvaient là en grand nombre, et tout le peuple qui demeurait au pays d'Égypte, à Pathros, répondirent ainsi à Jérémie:
15 Ansin gach uile fhear dá raibh a fhios aige gur loisc a bhean chéile túis do dhéithe eachtrannacha, agus an uile bhean dár sheas ina bhfochair, comhthionól mór [mar aon leis na daoine uile a chónaíonn i bPatros, i dtír na hÉigipte], d'fhreagair siad Irimia, á rá:
15 Entonces todos los que sabían que sus mujeres habían ofrecido sahumerios á dioses ajenos, y todas las mujeres que estaban presentes, una gran concurrencia, y todo el pueblo que habitaba en tierra de Egipto, en Pathros, respondieron á Jeremías, diciendo:
15 Da antworteten dem Jeremia alle Männer, die da wohl wußten, daß ihre Weiber andern Göttern räucherten, und alle Weiber, so in großem Haufen dastanden, samt allem Volk, die in Ägyptenland wohnten und in Pathros, und sprachen:
16 As for the word which you have said to us in the name of the Lord, we will not give ear to you.
16 Nous ne t'obéirons en rien de ce que tu nous as dit au nom de l'Éternel.
16 “Níl aon rún againn éisteacht leis an bhfocal seo a labhair tú linne in ainm an Tiarna,
16 La palabra que nos has hablado en nombre de Jehová, no oímos de ti:
16 Nach dem Wort, das du im Namen des HERRN uns sagst, wollen wir dir nicht gehorchen;
17 But we will certainly do every word which has gone out of our mouths, burning perfumes to the queen of heaven and draining out drink offerings to her as we did, we and our fathers and our kings and our rulers, in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then we had food enough and did well and saw no evil.
17 Mais nous voulons agir comme l'a déclaré notre bouche, offrir de l'encens à la reine du ciel, et lui faire des libations, comme nous l'avons fait, nous et nos pères, nos rois et nos chefs, dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem. Alors nous avions du pain pour nous rassasier, nous étions heureux, et nous n'éprouvions point de malheur.
17 ach leanúint orainn ag déanamh gach ar gheallamar: ag loscadh túise do Bhanríon Neimhe agus ag doirteadh íobairtí dí di, faoi mar a dhéanaimis, sinn féin agus ár n‑aithreacha, ár ríthe agus ár dtaoisigh, i mbailte Iúdá agus i sráideanna Iarúsailéim: bhí fairsinge bia againn san am sin, bhíomar go maith as, ní fhacamar aon olc.
17 Antes pondremos ciertamente por obra toda palabra que ha salido de nuestra boca, para ofrecer sahumerios á la reina del cielo, y derramándole libaciones, como hemos hecho nosotros y nuestros padres, nuestros reyes y nuestros príncipes, en las ciudades de Judá y en las plazas de Jerusalem, y fuimos hartos de pan, y estuvimos alegres, y no vimos mal alguno.
17 sondern wir wollen tun nach allem dem Wort, das aus unserem Munde geht, und wollen der Himmelskönigin räuchern und ihr Trankopfer opfern, wie wir und unsre Väter, unsre Könige und Fürsten getan haben in den Städten Juda's und auf den Gassen zu Jerusalem. Da hatten wir auch Brot genug und ging uns wohl und sahen kein Unglück.
18 But from the time when we gave up burning perfumes to the queen of heaven and draining out drink offerings to her, we have been in need of all things, and have been wasted by the sword and by need of food.
18 Et depuis que nous avons cessé d'offrir de l'encens à la reine du ciel et de lui faire des libations, nous avons manqué de tout, et nous avons été consumés par l'épée et par la famine...
18 Ach ón uair ar éiríomar as túis a loscadh do Bhanríon Neimhe agus íobairtí dí a dhoirteadh amach di, tá easpa gach ní orainn, agus maraíodh sinn leis an gclaíomh nó leis an ngorta.”
18 Mas desde que cesamos de ofrecer sahumerios á la reina del cielo, y de derramarle libaciones, nos falta todo, y á cuchillo y á hambre somos consumidos.
18 Seit der Zeit aber, daß wir haben abgelassen, der Himmelskönigin zu räuchern und Trankopfer zu opfern, haben wir allen Mangel gelitten und sind durch Schwert und Hunger umgekommen.
19 And the women said, When we were burning perfumes to the queen of heaven and draining out drink offerings to her, did we make cakes in her image and give her our drink offerings without the knowledge of our husbands?
19 D'ailleurs, lorsque nous offrons de l'encens à la reine du ciel et que nous lui faisons des libations, est-ce sans la volonté de nos maris que nous lui préparons des gâteaux pour l'honorer et que nous lui faisons des libations?
19 [Agus dúirt na mná] “Nuair a loscaimid túis do Bhanríon Neimhe agus nuair a dhoirtimid amach a híobairtí dí, an dóigh leat gur ag déanamh bairíní lena híomhá orthu agus ag doirteadh a híobairtí dí atáimid gan fhios dár bhfir chéile?”
19 Y cuando ofrecimos sahumerios á la reina del cielo, y le derramamos libaciones, ¿hicímosle nosotras tortas para tributarle culto, y le derramamos libaciones, sin nuestros maridos?
19 Auch wenn wir der Himmelskönigin räuchern und opfern, das tun wir ja nicht ohne unserer Männer Willen, daß wir ihr Kuchen backen und Trankopfer opfern, auf daß sie sich um uns bekümmere.
20 Then Jeremiah said to all the people, to the men and women and all the people who had given him that answer,
20 Jérémie dit alors à tout le peuple, aux hommes, aux femmes, à tous ceux qui lui avaient fait cette réponse:
20 Ansin dúirt Irimia leis an bpobal uile, idir fhir agus mhná, iad siúd a thug an freagra sin air:
20 Y habló Jeremías á todo el pueblo, á los hombres y á las mujeres, y á todo el vulgo que le había respondido esto, diciendo:
20 Da sprach Jeremia zum ganzen Volk, Männern und Weibern und allem Volk, die ihm so geantwortet hatten:
21 The perfumes which you have been burning in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, you and your fathers and your kings and your rulers and the people of the land, had the Lord no memory of them, and did he not keep them in mind?
21 L'Éternel ne s'est-il pas rappelé, n'a-t-il pas eu à la pensée l'encens que vous avez brûlé dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem, vous et vos pères, vos rois et vos chefs, et le peuple du pays?
21 “An túis a loisc sibh i mbailte Iúdá agus i sráideanna Iarúsailéim, sibh féin, bhur n‑aithreacha, bhur ríthe, bhur dtaoisigh, agus muintir na tíre - nár chuimhnigh an Tiarna air sin, nach é a tháinig ina intinn?
21 ¿No se ha acordado Jehová, y no ha venido á su memoria el sahumerio que ofrecisteis en las ciudades de Judá, y en las plazas de Jerusalem, vosotros y vuestros padres, vuestros reyes y vuestros príncipes, y el pueblo de la tierra?
21 Ich meine ja, der HERR habe gedacht an das Räuchern, so ihr in den Städten Juda's und auf den Gassen zu Jerusalem getrieben habt samt euren Vätern, Königen, Fürsten und allem Volk im Lande, und hat's zu Herzen genommen,
22 And the Lord was no longer able to put up with the evil of your doings and the disgusting things you did; and because of this your land has become a waste and a cause of wonder and a curse, with no one living in it, as at this day.
22 L'Éternel n'a pas pu le supporter davantage, à cause de la méchanceté de vos actions, à cause des abominations que vous avez commises; et votre pays est devenu une ruine, un désert, un objet de malédiction, comme on le voit aujourd'hui.
22 Ionas nár fhéad an Tiarna bhur míghníomhartha agus bhur ngráiniúlachtaí a iompar nib fhaide; sin é an fáth a bhfuil bhur dtír inniu ina fásach, ina huafás agus ina mallacht, gan áitritheoir.
22 Y no pudo sufrir más Jehová á causa de la maldad de vuestras obras, á causa de las abominaciones que habíais hecho: por tanto vuestra tierra fué en asolamiento, y en espanto, y en maldición, hasta no quedar morador, como hoy.
22 daß er nicht mehr leiden konnte euren bösen Wandel und die Greuel, die ihr tatet; daher auch euer Land zur Wüste, zum Wunder und zum Fluch geworden ist, daß niemand darin wohnt, wie es heutigestages steht.
23 Because you have been burning perfumes, and sinning against the Lord, and have not given ear to the voice of the Lord, or gone in the way of his law or his rules or his orders; for this reason this evil has come on you, as it is today.
23 C'est parce que vous avez brûlé de l'encens et péché contre l'Éternel, parce que vous n'avez pas écouté la voix de l'Éternel, et que vous n'avez pas observé sa loi, ses ordonnances, et ses préceptes, c'est pour cela que ces malheurs vous sont arrivés, comme on le voit aujourd'hui.
23 Mar gur loisc sibh tús, mar gur pheacaigh sibh in aghaidh an Tiarna, agus nár umhlaigh sibh do ghuth an Tiarna, nár shiúil ina dhlí, ina reachta ná ina fhianaise - sin é is cúis leis an anró atá oraibh inniu.”
23 Porque ofrecisteis sahumerios, y pecasteis contra Jehová, y no obedecisteis á la voz de Jehová, ni anduvisteis en su ley, ni en sus estatutos, ni en sus testimonios: por tanto ha venido sobre vosotros este mal, como hoy.
23 Darum, daß ihr geräuchert habt und wider den HERRN gesündigt und der Stimme des HERRN nicht gehorchtet und in seinem Gesetz, seinen Rechten und Zeugnissen nicht gewandelt habt, darum ist auch euch solches Unglück widerfahren, wie es heutigestages steht.
24 Further, Jeremiah said to all the people and all the women, Give ear to the word of the Lord, all those of Judah who are living in Egypt:
24 Jérémie dit encore à tout le peuple et à toutes les femmes: Écoutez la parole de l'Éternel, vous tous de Juda, qui êtes au pays d'Égypte!

24 Y dijo Jeremías á todo el pueblo, y á todas las mujeres: Oid palabra de Jehová, todos los de Judá que estáis en tierra de Egipto:
24 Und Jeremia sprach zu allem Volk und zu allen Weibern: Höret des HERRN Wort, alle ihr aus Juda, so in Ägyptenland sind.
25 This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: You women have said with your mouths, and with your hands you have done what you said, We will certainly give effect to the oaths we have made, to have perfumes burned to the queen of heaven and drink offerings drained out to her: then give effect to your oaths and do them.
25 Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Vous et vos femmes, vous avez déclaré de vos bouches et exécuté de vos mains ce que vous dites: Nous voulons accomplir les voeux que nous avons faits, offrir de l'encens à la reine du ciel, et lui faire des libations. Maintenant que vous avez accompli vos voeux, exécuté vos promesses,
25 Mar seo a deir Tiarna na Slua, Dia Iosrael: ‘Sibhse, a mhná an rud a gheall bhur mbéal, is ceart go gcriochnóidh bhur lámha go cinnte! Dúirt sibh: Comhlíonfaimid go deimhin na móideanna a thugamar chun túis a loscadh do Bhanríon Neimhe agus chun íobairtí dí a dhoirteadh di. Tá go maith, comhlíonaigí bhur móideanna, doirtigí bhur n‑íobairtí!
25 Así ha hablado Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, diciendo: Vosotros y vuestras mujeres proferisteis con vuestras bocas, y con vuestras manos lo ejecutasteis, diciendo: Cumpliremos efectivamente nuestros votos que hicimos, de ofrecer sahumerios á la reina del cielo y de derramarle libaciones: confirmáis á la verdad vuestros votos, y ponéis vuestros votos por obra.
25 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Ihr und eure Weiber habt mit einem Munde geredet und mit euren Händen vollbracht, was ihr sagt: Wir wollen unser Gelübde halten, die wir gelobt haben der Himmelskönigin, daß wir ihr räuchern und Trankopfer opfern. Wohlan, ihr habt eure Gelübde erfüllt und eure Gelübde gehalten.
26 And now give ear to the word of the Lord, all you of Judah who are living in the land of Egypt: Truly, I have taken an oath by my great name, says the Lord, that my name is no longer to be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, By the life of the Lord God.
26 écoutez la parole de l'Éternel, vous tous de Juda, qui demeurez au pays d'Égypte! Voici, je le jure par mon grand nom, dit l'Éternel, mon nom ne sera plus invoqué par la bouche d'aucun homme de Juda, et dans tout le pays d'Égypte aucun ne dira: Le Seigneur, l'Éternel est vivant!
26 Ach éistigí le briathar an Tiarna, sibhse a Ghiúdacha uile, a chónaíonn i dtír na hÉigipte: Tugaimse mionna faoi m'ainm mór a deir an Tiarna, nach n‑ainmneofar m'ainm níos mó i mbéal aon duine ar bith de Iúdá i gcríocha uile na hÉigipte; ní déarfaidh duine: Go maire an Tiarna Dia.
26 Por tanto, oid palabra de Jehová, todo Judá que habitáis en tierra de Egipto: He aquí he jurado por mi grande nombre, dice Jehová, que mi nombre no será más invocado en toda la tierra de Egipto por boca de ningún hombre Judío, diciendo: Vive el Señor Jehová.
26 So hört nun des HERRN Wort, ihr alle aus Juda, die ihr in Ägyptenland wohnt: Siehe, ich schwöre bei meinem großen Namen, spricht der HERR, daß mein Name nicht mehr soll durch irgend eines Menschen Mund aus Juda genannt werden in ganz Ägyptenland, der da sagt: "So wahr der HERR HERR lebt!"
27 See, I am watching over them for evil and not for good: all the men of Judah who are in the land of Egypt will be wasted by the sword and by need of food till there is an end of them.
27 Voici, je veillerai sur eux pour faire du mal et non du bien; et tous les hommes de Juda qui sont dans le pays d'Égypte seront consumés par l'épée et par la famine, jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient anéantis.
27 Féach, beidh mise ag faire os a gcionn, ní ar mhaithe leo, ach chun a n‑aimhleasa; marófar an uile fhear de Iúdá atá san Éigipt, leis an gclaíomh nó leis an ngorta, go mbeidh deireadh leo.
27 He aquí que yo velo sobre ellos para mal, y no para bien; y todos los hombres de Judá que están en tierra de Egipto, serán consumidos á cuchillo y de hambre, hasta que perezcan del todo.
27 Siehe, ich will über sie wachen zum Unglück und zu keinem Guten, daß, wer aus Juda in Ägyptenland ist, soll durch Schwert und Hunger umkommen, bis es ein Ende mit ihnen habe.
28 And those who get away safe from the sword will come back from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah, a very small number; and all the rest of Judah, who have gone into the land of Egypt and are living there, will see whose word has effect, mine or theirs.
28 Ceux, en petit nombre, qui échapperont à l'épée, retourneront du pays d'Égypte au pays de Juda. Mais tout le reste de Juda, tous ceux qui sont venus au pays d'Égypte pour y demeurer, sauront si ce sera ma parole ou la leur qui s'accomplira.
28 Mar sin féin, an uimhir bheag a rachaidh as an gclaíomh fillfidh siad ó chríocha na hÉigipte go tír Iúdá. Agus fuíoll Iúdá uile a chuaigh go tír na hÉigipte chun cónaí ann, aithneoidh siad ansin cé leis na focail a fhíorfar, liomsa nó leosan.
28 Y los que escaparen del cuchillo, volverán de tierra de Egipto á tierra de Judá, pocos hombres; sabrán pues todas las reliquias de Judá, que han entrado en Egipto á morar allí la palabra de quién ha de permanecer, si la mía, ó la suya.
28 Welche aber dem Schwert entrinnen, die werden aus Ägyptenland ins Land Juda wiederkommen müssen als ein geringer Haufe. Und also werden dann alle die übrigen aus Juda, so nach Ägyptenland gezogen waren, daß sie sich daselbst herbergten, erfahren, wessen Wort wahr sei, meines oder ihres.
29 And this will be the sign to you, says the Lord, that I will give you punishment in this place, so that you may see that my words will certainly have effect against you for evil:
29 Et voici, dit l'Éternel, un signe auquel vous connaîtrez que je vous châtierai dans ce lieu, afin que vous sachiez que mes paroles s'accompliront sur vous pour votre malheur.
29 Agus seo daoibh an comhartha - is é an Tiarna a labhraíonn - go bhfuil ar intinn agam sibh a smachtú san áit seo, le go n‑aithneodh sibh go bhfuil mo fhocail bhagartha ag seasamh go deimhin in bhur n‑aghaidh.
29 Y esto tendréis por señal, dice Jehová, de que en este lugar os visito, para que sepáis que de cierto permanecerán mis palabras para mal sobre vosotros.
29 Und zum Zeichen, spricht der HERR, daß ich euch an diesem Ort heimsuchen will, damit ihr wißt, daß mein Wort soll wahr werden über euch zum Unglück,
30 The Lord has said, See, I will give up Pharaoh Hophra, king of Egypt, into the hands of those who are fighting against him and desiring to take his life, as I gave Zedekiah, king of Judah, into the hands of Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, his hater, who had designs against his life.
30 Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Voici, je livrerai Pharaon Hophra, roi d'Égypte, entre les mains de ses ennemis, entre les mains de ceux qui en veulent à sa vie, comme j'ai livré Sédécias, roi de Juda, entre les mains de Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, son ennemi, qui en voulait à sa vie.
