1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, after Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him; for he had been put in chains, among all the prisoners of Jerusalem and Judah who were taken away prisoners to Babylon.
1 La parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de l'Éternel, après que Nebuzaradan, chef des gardes, l'eut envoyé de Rama. Quand il le fit chercher, Jérémie était lié de chaînes parmi tous les captifs de Jérusalem et de Juda qu'on emmenait à Babylone.
1 An briathar a tháinig go Irimia tar éis do Nabúzaradán, ceannaire an gharda, é a fhuascailt as Rámá; is amhlaidh a thóg seisean amach é agus é ceangailte i slabhra i measc na bpríosúnach as Iarúsailéim agus Iúdá a bhí á mbreith don Bhablóin.
1 PALABRA que fué á Jeremías de Jehová, después que Nabuzaradán capitán de la guardia le envió desde Ramá, cuando le tomó estando atado con esposas entre toda la transmigración de Jerusalem y de Judá que iban cautivos á Babilonia.
1 Dies ist das Wort, so vom HERRN geschah zu Jeremia, da ihn Nebusaradan, der Hauptmann, losließ zu Rama; denn er war mit Ketten gebunden unter allen denen, die zu Jerusalem und in Juda gefangen waren, daß man sie gen Babel wegführen sollte.
2 And the captain of the armed men took Jeremiah and said to him, The Lord your God gave word of the evil which was to come on this place:
2 Le chef des gardes envoya chercher Jérémie, et lui dit: L'Éternel, ton Dieu, a annoncé ces malheurs contre ce lieu;
2 Ansin thóg ceannaire an gharda Irimia i leataobh agus dúirt leis: “Is é an Tiarna do Dhia a d'fhógair an t‑olc ar an tír seo;
2 Tomó pues el capitán de la guardia á Jeremías, y díjole: Jehová tu Dios habló este mal contra este lugar;
2 Da nun der Hauptmann Jeremia zu sich hatte lassen holen, sprach er zu ihm: Der HERR, dein Gott, hat dies Unglück über diese Stätte geredet.
3 *** and the Lord has made it come, and has done as he said; because of your sin against the Lord in not giving ear to his voice; and that is why this thing has come on you.
3 l'Éternel a fait venir et a exécuté ce qu'il avait dit, et ces choses vous sont arrivées parce que vous avez péché contre l'Éternel et que vous n'avez pas écouté sa voix.
3 anois tá sé tugtha i gcrích aige. Rinne an Tiarna de réir a bhriathair, óir pheacaigh sibh in aghaidh an Tiarna agus níor umhlaigh dá ghuth; mar sin tháinig seo oraibh.
3 Y halo traído y hecho Jehová según que había dicho: porque pecasteis contra Jehová, y no oísteis su voz, por eso os ha venido esto.
3 und hat's auch kommen lassen und getan, wie er geredet hat; denn ihr habt gesündigt wider den HERRN und seiner Stimme nicht gehorcht; darum ist euch solches widerfahren.
4 Now see, this day I am freeing you from the chains which are on your hands. If it seems good to you to come with me to Babylon, then come, and I will keep an eye on you; but if it does not seem good to you to come with me to Babylon, then do not come: see, all the land is before you; if it seems good and right to you to go on living in the land,
4 Maintenant voici, je te délivre aujourd'hui des chaînes que tu as aux mains; si tu veux venir avec moi à Babylone, viens, j'aurai soin de toi; si cela te déplaît de venir avec moi à Babylone, ne viens pas; regarde, tout le pays est devant toi, va où il te semblera bon et convenable d'aller.
4 Féach, scaoilim thú inniu ó na slabhraí atá ar do láimh. Más maith leat teacht liom don Bhablóin, tair; tabharfaidh mise aire duit. Mura maith leat teacht liom don Bhablóin, is cuma. Féach, tá an tír uile romhat, cibé áit is maith leat dul, téirigh ann.
4 Y ahora yo te he soltado hoy de las esposas que tenías en tus manos. Si te está bien venir conmigo á Babilonia, ven, y yo miraré por ti; mas si no te está bien venir conmigo á Babilonia, déjalo: mira, toda la tierra está delante de ti; ve á donde mejor y más cómodo te pareciere ir.
4 Und nun siehe, ich habe dich heute losgemacht von den Ketten, womit deine Hände gebunden waren. Gefällt dir's, mit mir gen Babel zu ziehen, so komm du sollst mir befohlen sein; gefällt dir's aber nicht, mit mir gen Babel zu ziehen, so laß es anstehen. Siehe, da hast du das ganze Land vor dir; wo dich's gut dünkt und dir gefällt, da zieh hin.
5 Then go back to Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has made ruler over the towns of Judah, and make your living-place with him among the people; or go wherever it seems right to you to go. So the captain of the armed men gave him food and some money and let him go.
5 Et comme il tardait à répondre: Retourne, ajouta-t-il, vers Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, fils de Schaphan, que le roi de Babylone a établi sur les villes de Juda, et reste avec lui parmi le peuple; ou bien, va partout où il te conviendra d'aller. Le chef des gardes lui donna des vivres et des présents, et le congédia.
5 Féadfaidh tú, mar shampla, dul ar ais go Gadailiá mac Aichíceám, mac Sheáfán, dá ndearna rí na Bablóine rialtóir ar bhailte Iúdá, agus cónaí a dhéanamh ina fhochair i measc an phobail; nó imeacht leat go dtí do rogha áit.” Ansin thug ceannaire an gharda liúntas bia dó agus bronntanas, agus lig dó imeacht.
5 Y aun no se había él vuelto, cuando le dijo: Vuélvete á Gedalías hijo de Ahicam, hijo de Saphán, al cual el rey de Babilonia ha puesto sobre todas las ciudades de Judá, y vive con él en medio del pueblo: ó ve á donde te pareciere más cómodo de ir. Y dióle el capitán de la guardia presentes y dones, y despidióle.
5 Denn weiter hinaus wird kein Wiederkehren sein. Darum magst du umkehren zu Gedalja, dem Sohn Ahikams, des Sohnes Saphans, welchen der König zu Babel gesetzt hat über die Städte in Juda, und bei ihm unter dem Volk bleiben; oder gehe, wohin dir's wohl gefällt. Und der Hauptmann gab ihm Zehrung und Geschenke und ließ ihn gehen.
6 So Jeremiah went to Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, in Mizpah, and was living with him among the people who were still in the land.
6 Jérémie alla vers Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, à Mitspa, et il resta avec lui parmi le peuple qui était demeuré dans le pays.
6 Chuaigh Irimia ansin go Gadailiá mac Aichíceám i Miozpá agus chónaigh ina fhochair, i measc na ndaoine a fágadh fós sa tír. Gadailiá agus a Bhású
6 Fuése entonces Jeremías á Gedalías hijo de Ahicam, á Mizpa, y moró con él en medio del pueblo que había quedado en la tierra.
6 Also kam Jeremia zu Gedalja, dem Sohn Ahikams, gen Mizpa und blieb bei ihm unter dem Volk, das im Lande noch übrig war.
7 Now when it came to the ears of all the captains of the forces who were in the field, and their men, that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, ruler in the land, and had put under his care the men and women and children, all the poorest of the land, those who had not been taken away to Babylon;
7 Lorsque tous les chefs des troupes qui étaient dans les campagnes eurent appris, eux et leurs hommes, que le roi de Babylone avait établi gouverneur du pays Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, et qu'il lui avait confié les hommes, les femmes, les enfants, et ceux des pauvres du pays qu'on n'avait pas emmenés captifs à Babylone,
7 Nuair a chuala ceannairí uile na saighdiúirí a bhí fós, iad féin agus a gcuid fear, ar fud na tuaithe, go ndearna rí na Bablóine rialtóir de Ghadailiá mac Aichíceám sa tír, agus gur thug sé faoina chúram fir, mná agus leanaí, agus bochta sin na tíre nár tugadh don Bhablóin,
7 Y como oyeron todos los príncipes del ejército que estaba por el campo, ellos y sus hombres, que el rey de Babilonia había puesto á Gedalías hijo de Ahicam sobre la tierra, y que le había encomendado los hombres, y las mujeres, y los niños, y los pobres de la tierra, que no fueron trasportados á Babilonia;
7 Da nun die Hauptleute, so auf dem Felde sich hielten, samt ihren Leuten erfuhren, daß der König zu Babel hatte Gedalja, den Sohn Ahikams, über das Land gesetzt und über die Männer und Weiber, Kinder und die Geringen im Lande, welche nicht gen Babel geführt waren,
8 Then they came to Gedaliah in Mizpah, even Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan, the son of Kareah, and Seraiah, the son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah, the son of the Maacathite, they and their men.
8 ils se rendirent auprès de Guedalia à Mitspa, savoir Ismaël, fils de Nethania, Jochanan et Jonathan, fils de Karéach, Seraja, fils de Thanhumeth, les fils d'Éphaï de Nethopha, et Jezania, fils du Maacatite, eux et leurs hommes.
8 chuaigh siad go Gadailiá i Miozpá: Ísmeáéil mac Natainiá, Ióchánán mac Cháiréach, Saráiá mac Thanhumat, clann mhac Éafaí an Natófátach, Iazainiá mac an Mhácátaigh, iad féin agus a muintir.
8 Vinieron luego á Gedalías en Mizpa, es á saber, Ismael hijo de Nethanías, y Johanán y Jonathán hijos de Carea, y Seraías hijo de Tanhumeth, y los hijos de Ephi Netophatita, y Jezanías hijo de Maachâti, ellos y su hombres.
8 kamen sie zu Gedalja gen Mizpa, nämlich Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, Johanan und Jonathan, die Söhne Kareahs, und Seraja, der Sohn Thanhumeths, und die Söhne Ephais von Netopha und Jesanja, der Sohn eines Maachathiters, samt ihren Männern.
9 And Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, took an oath to them and their men, saying, Have no fear of the servants of the Chaldaeans: go on living in the land, and become the servants of the king of Babylon, and all will be well.
9 Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, fils de Schaphan, leur jura, à eux et à leurs hommes, en disant: Ne craignez pas de servir les Chaldéens; demeurez dans le pays, servez le roi de Babylone, et vous vous en trouverez bien.
9 Mhionnaigh Gadailiá mac Aichíceám, mac Sheáfán, dóibh sin agus dá muintir: “Ná bíodh eagla oraibh,” ar sé, “géilleadh do na Caildéigh; ach cónaígí sa tír agus umhlaígí do rí na Bablóine, agus rachaidh sé go maith daoibh.
9 Y juróles Gedalías hijo de Ahicam, hijo de Saphán, á ellos y á sus hombres, diciendo: No tengáis temor de servir á los Caldeos: habitad en la tierra, y servid al rey de Babilonia, y tendréis bien.
9 Und Gedalja, der Sohn Ahikams, des Sohnes Saphans, tat ihnen und ihren Männern einen Eid und sprach: Fürchtet euch nicht, daß ihr den Chaldäern untertan sein sollt; bleibt im Lande und seid dem König zu Babel untertan, so wird's euch wohl gehen.
10 As for me, I will be living in Mizpah as your representative before the Chaldaeans who come to us: but you are to get in your wine and summer fruits and oil and put them in your vessels, and make living-places for yourselves in the towns which you have taken.
10 Voici, je reste à Mitspa, pour être présent devant les Chaldéens qui viendront vers nous; et vous, faites la récolte du vin, des fruits d'été et de l'huile, mettez-les dans vos vases, et demeurez dans vos villes que vous occupez.
10 Maidir liom féin, déanfaidh mé cónaí anseo i Miozpá mar is mé a bheidh freagarthach do na Caildéigh nuair a thiocfaidh siad chugainn; ach, sibhse, cruinnígíse an barr fíniúna, torthaí samhraidh agus ola; líonaigí bhur soithí agus cuirigí fúibh sna bailte is rogha libh.”
10 Y he aquí que yo habito en Mizpa, para estar delante de los Caldeos que vendrán á nosotros; mas vosotros, coged el vino, y el pan, y el aceite, y ponedlo en vuestros almacenes, y quedaos en vuestras ciudades que habéis tomado.
10 Siehe, ich wohne hier zu Mizpa, daß ich den Chaldäern diene, die zu uns kommen; darum sammelt ein Wein und Feigen und Öl und legt's in eure Gefäße und wohnt in euren Städten, die ihr bekommen habt.
11 In the same way, when all the Jews who were in Moab and among the children of Ammon and in Edom and in all the countries, had news that the king of Babylon had let Judah keep some of its people and that he had put over them Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan;
11 Tous les Juifs qui étaient au pays de Moab, chez les Ammonites, au pays d'Édom, et dans tous les pays, apprirent que le roi de Babylone avait laissé un reste dans Juda, et qu'il leur avait donné pour gouverneur Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, fils de Schaphan.
11 Mar an gcéanna, nuair a chuala na Giúdaigh uile a bhí i Móáb agus i measc na nAmónach, agus in Eadóm, gur fhág rí na Bablóine fuíoll in Iúdá, agus gur chuir sé Gadailiá mac Aichíceám, mac Sheáfán, os a gcionn,
11 Asimismo todos los Judíos que estaban en Moab, y entre los hijos de Ammón, y en Edom, y los que estaban en todas las tierras, cuando oyeron decir como el rey de Babilonia había dejado algunos en la Judea, y que había puesto sobre ellos á Gedalías hijo de Ahicam, hijo de Saphán,
11 Auch allen Juden, so im Lande Moab und der Kinder Ammon und in Edom und in allen Ländern waren, da sie hörten, daß der König zu Babel hätte lassen etliche in Juda übrigbleiben und über sie gesetzt Gedalja, den Sohn Ahikams, des Sohnes Saphans,
12 Then all the Jews came back from all the places to which they had gone in flight, and came to the land of Judah, to Gedaliah, to Mizpah, and got in a great store of wine and summer fruit.
12 Et tous les Juifs revinrent de tous les lieux où ils étaient dispersés, ils se rendirent dans le pays de Juda vers Guedalia à Mitspa, et ils firent une abondante récolte de vin et de fruits d'été.
12 d'fhill siad uile as gach aon áit ar díbríodh iad. Ar theacht ar ais go tír Iúdá dóibh, go Gadailiá i Miozpá, chruinnigh siad stór mór fíona agus torthaí samhraidh.
12 Todos estos Judíos tornaron entonces de todas las partes adonde habían sido echados, y vinieron á tierra de Judá, á Gedalías en Mizpa; y cogieron vino y muy muchos frutos.
12 kamen sie alle wieder von allen Orten dahin sie verstoßen waren, in das Land Juda zu Gedalja gen Mizpa und sammelten ein sehr viel Wein und Sommerfrüchte.
13 Now Johanan, the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces which were in the field, came to Gedaliah in Mizpah,
13 Jochanan, fils de Karéach, et tous les chefs des troupes qui étaient dans les campagnes, vinrent auprès de Guedalia à Mitspa,
13 Ansin tháinig Ióchánán mac Cháiréach, agus ceannairí uile an tslua a bhí fós ar fan faoin tuath, go Gadailiá i Miozpá,
13 Y Johanán, hijo de Carea, y todos los príncipes de la gente de guerra que estaban en el campo, vinieron á Gedalías en Mizpa,
13 Aber Johanan, der Sohn Kareahs, samt allen Hauptleuten, so auf dem Felde sich gehalten hatten, kamen zu Gedalja gen Mizpa
14 And said to him, Has it come to your knowledge that Baalis, the king of the children of Ammon, has sent Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, to take your life? But Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, put no faith in what they said.
14 et lui dirent: Sais-tu que Baalis, roi des Ammonites, a chargé Ismaël, fils de Nethania, de t'ôter la vie? Mais Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, ne les crut point.
14 agus dúirt leis: “An bhfuil a fhios agatsa gur chuir Báilíos, rí na nAmónach, Ísmeáéil mac Natainiá do do mharú?” Ach ní chreidfeadh Gadailiá mac Aichíceám iad.
14 Y dijéronle: ¿No sabes de cierto como Baalis, rey de los hijos de Ammón, ha enviado á Ismael hijo de Nethanías, para matarte? Mas Gedalías hijo de Ahicam no los creyó.
14 und sprachen zu ihm: Weißt du auch, daß Baalis, der König der Kinder Ammon, gesandt hat Ismael, den Sohn Nethanjas, daß er dich soll erschlagen? Das wollte ihnen aber Gedalja, der Sohn Ahikams, nicht glauben.
15 Then Johanan, the son of Kareah, said to Gedaliah in Mizpah secretly, Let me now go and put Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, to death without anyone's knowledge: why let him take your life so that all the Jews who have come together to you may be sent in flight, and the rest of the men of Judah come to an end?
15 Et Jochanan, fils de Karéach, dit secrètement à Guedalia à Mitspa: Permets que j'aille tuer Ismaël, fils de Nethania. Personne ne le saura. Pourquoi t'ôterait-il la vie? pourquoi tous ceux de Juda rassemblés auprès de toi se disperseraient-ils, et le reste de Juda périrait-il?
15 Labhair Ióchánán mac Cháiréach fiú le Gadailiá i Miozpá os íseal, á rá: “Lig domsa imeacht, agus maróidh mé Ísmeáéil mac Natainiá, agus ní bheidh a fhios ag aon duine. Cad chuige a maróidh sé thusa? Agus go scaipfí chun fáin arís na Giúdaigh uile a chruinnigh chugat. Cad chuige a mbasófaí fuíoll Iúdá?”
15 Entonces Johanán hijo de Carea habló á Gedalías en secreto, en Mizpa, diciendo: Yo iré ahora, y heriré á Ismael hijo de Nethanías, y hombre no lo sabrá: ¿por qué te ha de matar, y todos los Judíos que se han recogido á ti se derramarán, y perecerá el resto de Judá?
15 Da sprach Johanan, der Sohn Kareahs, zu Gedalja heimlich zu Mizpa: Ich will hingehen und Ismael, den Sohn Nethanjas, erschlagen, daß es niemand erfahren soll. Warum soll er dich erschlagen, daß alle Juden, so zu dir versammelt sind, zerstreut werden und die noch aus Juda übriggeblieben sind, umkommen?
16 But Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, said to Johanan, the son of Kareah, You are not to do this: for what you say about Ishmael is false.
16 Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, répondit à Jochanan, fils de Karéach: Ne fais pas cela; car ce que tu dis sur Ismaël est faux.
