1 Now it came about in the fourth year of Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, that this word came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,

1 Y ACONTECIO en el cuarto año de Joacim hijo de Josías, rey de Judá, que fué esta palabra á Jeremías, de Jehová, diciendo:
1 Im vierten Jahr Jojakims, des Sohnes Josias, des Königs in Juda, geschah dies Wort zu Jeremia vom HERRN und sprach:
2 Take a book and put down in it all the words I have said to you against Israel and against Judah and against all the nations, from the day when my word came to you in the days of Josiah till this day.
2 Prends un livre, et tu y écriras toutes les paroles que je t'ai dites sur Israël et sur Juda, et sur toutes les nations, depuis le jour où je t'ai parlé, au temps de Josias, jusqu'à ce jour.
2 “Tóg thusa scrolla agus scríobh ann na briathra uile dár labhair mise leat i dtaobh Iarúsailéim agus Iúdá agus an uile chine ón lá ar labhair mé i dtús leat go dtí inniu.
2 Tómate un rollo de libro, y escribe en él todas las palabras que te he hablado contra Israel y contra Judá, y contra todas las gentes, desde el día que comencé á hablarte, desde los días de Josías hasta hoy.
2 Nimm ein Buch und schreibe darein alle Reden, die ich zu dir geredet habe über Israel, über Juda und alle Völker von der Zeit an, da ich zu dir geredet habe, nämlich von der Zeit Josias an bis auf diesen Tag;
3 It may be that the people of Judah, hearing of all the evil which it is my purpose to do to them, will be turned, every man from his evil ways; so that they may have my forgiveness for their evil-doing and their sin.
3 Quand la maison de Juda entendra tout le mal que je pense lui faire, peut-être reviendront-il chacun de leur mauvaise voie; alors je pardonnerai leur iniquité et leur péché.
3 Nuair a chluinfidh teach Iosrael an uile olc atá ar intinn agam a dhéanamh dóibh, b'fhéidir go bhfillfidh gach uile dhuine óna drochshlí, agus ansin mhaithfinnse a n‑éigeart agus a bpeaca dóibh.”
3 Quizá oirá la casa de Judá todo el mal que yo pienso hacerles, para avolverse cada uno de su mal camino, y yo perdonaré su maldad y su pecado.
3 ob vielleicht die vom Hause Juda, wo sie hören all das Unglück, das ich ihnen gedenke zu tun, sich bekehren wollten, ein jeglicher von seinem bösen Wesen, damit ich ihnen ihre Missetat und Sünde vergeben könnte.
4 Then Jeremiah sent for Baruch, the son of Neriah; and Baruch took down from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the Lord which he had said to him, writing them in a book.
4 Jérémie appela Baruc, fils de Nérija; et Baruc écrivit dans un livre, sous la dictée de Jérémie, toutes les paroles que l'Éternel avait dites à Jérémie.
4 Chuir Irimia fios ar Bharúch mac Néiria, agus scríobh Barúch, ó bhéal Irimia, gach briathar a labhair an Tiarna leis.
4 Y llamó Jeremías á Baruch hijo de Nerías, y escribió Baruch de boca de Jeremías, en un rollo de libro, todas las palabras que Jehová le había hablado.
4 Da rief Jeremia Baruch, den Sohn Nerias. Derselbe Baruch schrieb in ein Buch aus dem Munde Jeremia's alle Reden des HERRN, die er zu ihm geredet hatte.
5 And Jeremiah gave orders to Baruch, saying, I am shut up, and am not able to go into the house of the Lord:
5 Puis Jérémie donna cet ordre à Baruc: Je suis retenu, et je ne peux pas aller à la maison de l'Éternel.
5 D'ordaigh Irimia ansin do Bharúch: “Ó táimse i bpríosún anseo ní féidir liom dul go Teampall an Tiarna;
5 Después mandó Jeremías á Baruch, diciendo: Yo estoy preso, no puedo entrar en la casa de Jehova:
5 Und Jeremia gebot Baruch und sprach: Ich bin gefangen, daß ich nicht kann in des HERRN Haus gehen.
6 So you are to go, reading there from the book, which you have taken down from my mouth, the words of the Lord, in the hearing of the people in the Lord's house, on a day when they go without food, and in the hearing of all the men of Judah who have come out from their towns.
6 Tu iras toi-même, et tu liras dans le livre que tu as écrit sous ma dictée les paroles de l'Éternel, aux oreilles du peuple, dans la maison de l'Éternel, le jour du jeûne; tu les liras aussi aux oreilles de tous ceux de Juda qui seront venus de leurs villes.
6 ar an ábhar sin imigh thusa agus léigh as an scrolla a scríobh tú ó mo bhéalsa, briathra uile an Tiarna in éisteacht an phobail i dTeampall an Tiarna lá an troscaidh; léigh freisin iad in éisteacht mhuintir Iúdá uile a thagann as na bailte.
6 Entra tú pues, y lee de este rollo que escribiste de mi boca, las palabras de Jehová en oídos del pueblo, en la casa de Jehová, el día del ayuno; y las leerás también en oídos de todo Judá que vienen de sus ciudades.
6 Du aber gehe hinein und lies das Buch, darein du des HERRN Reden aus meinem Munde geschrieben hast, vor dem Volk im Hause des HERRN am Fasttage, und sollst sie auch lesen vor den Ohren des ganzen Juda, die aus ihren Städten hereinkommen;
7 It may be that their prayer for grace will go up to the Lord, and that every man will be turned from his evil ways: for great is the wrath and the passion made clear by the Lord against this people.
7 Peut-être l'Éternel écoutera-t-il leurs supplications, et reviendront ils chacun de leur mauvaise voie; car grande est la colère, la fureur dont l'Éternel a menacé ce peuple.
7 B'fhéidir go gcuirfeadh siad a n‑urnaithe i bhfianaise an Tiarna agus go bhfillfeadh gach aon díobh óna dhrochshlí, óir is mór é an díomá agus an fhearg a léirigh an Tiarna in aghaidh an phobail seo.”
7 Quizá caerá oración de ellos en la presencia de Jehová, y tornaráse cada uno de su mal camino; porque grande es el furor y la ira que ha expresado Jehová contra este pueblo.
7 ob sie vielleicht sich mit Beten vor dem HERRN demütigen wollen und sich bekehren, ein jeglicher von seinem bösen Wesen; denn der Zorn und Grimm ist groß, davon der HERR wider dies Volk geredet hat.
8 And Baruch, the son of Neriah, did as Jeremiah the prophet gave him orders to do, reading from the book the words of the Lord in the Lord's house.
8 Baruc, fils de Nérija, fit tout ce que lui avait ordonné Jérémie, le prophète, et lut dans le livre les paroles de l'Éternel, dans la maison de l'Éternel.
8 Rinne Barúch mac Néiria mar a d'ordaigh Irimia fáidh dó, briathra uile an Tiarna a léamh as an scrolla i dTeampall an Tiarna.
8 Y Baruch hijo de Nerías hizo conforme á todas las cosas que le mandó Jeremías profeta, leyendo en el libro las palabras de Jehová en la casa de Jehová.
8 Und Baruch, der Sohn Nerias, tat alles, wie ihm der Prophet Jeremia befohlen hatte, daß er die Reden des HERRN aus dem Buche läse im Hause des HERRN.
9 Now it came about in the fifth year of Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, in the ninth month, that it was given out publicly that all the people in Jerusalem, and all the people who came from the towns of Judah to Jerusalem, were to keep from food before the Lord.
9 La cinquième année de Jojakim, fils de Josias, roi de Juda, le neuvième mois, on publia un jeûne devant l'Éternel pour tout le peuple de Jérusalem et pour tout le peuple venu des villes de Juda à Jérusalem.
9 Tharla sa chúigiú bliain de Iahóiácaím mac Ióisíá, rí Iúdá, sa naoú mí gur fógraíodh troscadh i bhfianaise an Tiarna don phobal uile in Iarúsailéim agus don phobal uile a thiocfadh go Iarúsailéim ó bhailte Iúdá.
9 Y aconteció en el año quinto de Joacim hijo de Josías, rey de Judá, en el mes noveno, que promulgaron ayuno en la presencia de Jehová, á todo el pueblo de Jerusalem, y á todo el pueblo que venía de las ciudades de Judá á Jerusalem.
9 Es begab sich aber im fünften Jahr Jojakims, des Sohnes Josias, des Königs Juda's, im neunten Monat, daß man ein Fasten verkündigte vor dem HERRN allem Volk zu Jerusalem und allem Volk, das aus den Städten Juda's gen Jerusalem kommt.
10 Then Baruch gave a public reading of the words of Jeremiah from the book, in the house of the Lord, in the room of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the higher square, as one goes in by the new doorway of the Lord's house, in the hearing of all the people.
10 Et Baruc lut dans le livre les paroles de Jérémie, aux oreilles de tout le peuple, dans la maison de l'Éternel, dans la chambre de Guemaria, fils de Schaphan, le secrétaire, dans le parvis supérieur, à l'entrée de la porte neuve de la maison de l'Éternel.
10 Léigh sé briathra Irimia as an scrolla; tharla seo i seomra Ghamairiá mhic Sheáfán, rúnaí, sa chúirt ab airde ag dul an Geata Nua isteach i dTeampall an Tiarna, in éisteacht an phobail uile.
10 Y Baruch leyó en el libro las palabras de Jeremías en la casa de Jehová, en la cámara de Gemarías hijo de Saphán escriba, en el atrio de arriba, á la entrada de la puerta nueva de la casa de Jehová, en oídos del pueblo.
10 Und Baruch las aus dem Buche die Reden Jeremia's im Hause des HERRN, in der Kapelle Gemarjas, des Sohnes Saphans, des Kanzlers, im obern Vorhof, vor dem neuen Tor am Hause des HERRN, vor dem ganzen Volk.
11 And Micaiah, the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, after hearing all the words of the Lord from the book,
11 Michée, fils de Guemaria, fils de Schaphan, ayant entendu toutes les paroles de l'Éternel contenues dans le livre,
11 Nuair a chuala Miocáia mac Ghamairiá, mac Sheáfán, briathra uile an Tiarna as an scrolla,
11 Y Michêas hijo de Gemarías, hijo de Saphán, habiendo oído del libro todas las palabras de Jehová,
11 Da nun Michaja, der Sohn Gemarjas, des Sohnes Saphans, alle Reden des HERRN gehört hatte aus dem Buche,
12 Went down to the king's house, to the scribe's room: and all the rulers were seated there, Elishama the scribe and Delaiah, the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan, the son of Achbor, and Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah, the son of Hananiah, and all the rulers.
12 descendit à la maison du roi, dans la chambre du secrétaire, où étaient assis tous les chefs, Élischama, le secrétaire, Delaja, fils de Schemaeja, Elnathan, fils de d'Acbor, Guemaria, fils de Schaphan, Sédécias, fils de Hanania, et tous les autres chefs.

12 Descendió á la casa del rey, á la cámara del secretario, y he aquí que todos los príncipes estaban allí sentados, á saber: Elisama secretario, y Delaías hijo de Semeías, y Elnathán hijo de Achbor, y Gemarías hijo de Saphán, y Sedechîas hijo de Ananías, y todos los príncipes.
12 ging er hinab in des Königs Haus, in die Kanzlei. Und siehe, daselbst saßen alle Fürsten: Elisama, der Kanzler, Delaja, der Sohn Semajas, Elnathan, der Sohn Achbors, Gemarja, der Sohn Saphans, und Zedekia, der Sohn Hananjas, samt allen Fürsten.
13 Then Micaiah gave them an account of all the words which had come to his ears when Baruch was reading the book to the people.
13 Et Michée leur rapporta toutes les paroles qu'il avait entendues, lorsque Baruc lisait dans le livre, aux oreilles du peuple.
13 D'inis Miocáia dóibh na briathra uile dár chuala sé nuair a léigh Barúch an scrolla in éisteacht an phobail.
13 Y contóles Michêas todas las palabras que había oído leyendo Baruch en el libro en oídos del pueblo.
13 Und Michaja zeigte ihnen an alle Reden, die er gehört hatte, da Baruch las aus dem Buche vor den Ohren des Volks.
14 So all the rulers sent Jehudi, the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, to Baruch, saying, Take in your hand the book from which you have been reading to the people and come. So Baruch, the son of Neriah, took the book in his hand and came down to them.
14 Alors tous les chefs envoyèrent vers Baruc Jehudi, fils de Nethania, fils de Schélémia, fils de Cuschi, pour lui dire: Prends en main le livre dans lequel tu as lu, aux oreilles du peuple, et viens! Baruc, fils de Nérija, prit en main le livre, et se rendit auprès d'eux.
14 D'aontaigh na feidhmeannaigh ansin Iahúidí mac Natainiá agus Sealaimiá mac Chúisi a chur go Barúch á rá: “Tar, agus beir leat an scrolla a léigh tú in éisteacht an phobail.” Thóg Barúch mac Néiria an scrolla mar sin agus tháinig chucu.
14 Entonces enviaron todos los príncipes á Jehudí hijo de Nethanías, hijo de Selemías, hijo de Chusi, para que dijese á Baruch: Toma el rollo en que leíste á oídos del pueblo, y ven. Y Baruch, hijo de Nerías, tomó el rollo en su mano, y vino á ellos.
14 Da sandten alle Fürsten Judi, den Sohn Nethanjas, des Sohnes Selemjas, des Sohnes Chusis, nach Baruch und ließen ihm sagen: Nimm das Buch daraus du vor dem Volk gelesen hast, mit dir und komme! Und Baruch, der Sohn Nerias, nahm das Buch mit sich und kam zu ihnen.
15 Then they said to him, Be seated now, and give us a reading from it. So Baruch did so, reading it to them.
15 Ils lui dirent: Assieds-toi, et lis-le à nos oreilles. Et Baruc lut à leurs oreilles.
15 “Suigh síos,” ar siad, “agus léigh amach dúinne é.” Léigh Barúch é mar sin dóibh.

16 Now it came about that, after hearing all the words, they said to one another in fear, We will certainly give the king an account of all these words.
16 Lorsqu'ils eurent entendu toutes les paroles, ils se regardèrent avec effroi les uns les autres, et ils dirent à Baruc: Nous rapporterons au roi toutes ces paroles.
16 Nuair a chuala siad na briathra uile tháinig scanradh ar gach fear acu agus ar siad: “Go deimhin ní mór dúinn na briathra seo uile a insint don rí.”
16 Y fué que, como oyeron todas aquellas palabras, cada uno se volvió espantado á su compañero, y dijeron á Baruch: Sin duda contaremos al rey todas estas palabras.
16 Und da sie alle die Reden hörten, entsetzten sie sich einer gegen den andern und sprachen zu Baruch: Wir wollen alle diese Reden dem König anzeigen.
17 And questioning Baruch, they said, Say now, how did you put all these words down in writing from his mouth?
17 Ils posèrent encore à Baruc cette question: Dis-nous comment tu as écrit toutes ces paroles sous sa dictée.
17 D'fhiafraigh siad ansin de Bharúch: “Inis dúinn,” ar siad, “conas a scríobh tú na briathra seo uile.”
17 Preguntaron luego á Baruch, diciendo: Cuéntanos ahora cómo escribiste de boca de Jeremías todas estas palabras.
17 Und sie fragten Baruch: Sage uns, wie hast du alle diese Reden aus seinem Munde geschrieben?
18 Then Baruch, answering, said, He said all these things to me by word of mouth, and I put them down with ink in the book.
18 Baruc leur répondit: Il m'a dicté de sa bouche toutes ces paroles, et je les ai écrites dans ce livre avec de l'encre.
18 “Dheachtaigh Irimia dom iad lena bhéal,” d'fhreagair Barúch, “agus scríobh mise le dúch iad sa scrolla seo.”
18 Y Baruch les dijo: El me dictaba de su boca todas estas palabras, y yo escribía con tinta en el libro.
18 Baruch sprach zu ihnen: Er sagte vor mir alle diese Reden aus seinem Munde, und ich schrieb sie mit Tinte ins Buch.
19 Then the rulers said to Baruch, Go and put yourself in a safe place, you and Jeremiah, and let no man have knowledge of where you are.
19 Les chefs dirent à Baruc: Va, cache-toi, ainsi que Jérémie, et que personne ne sache où vous êtes.
19 Ansin dúirt na feidhmeannaigh le Barúch: “Imigh, téigh i bhfolach, thusa agus Irimia; agus ná bíodh a fhios ag aon duine cén áit a mbeidh sibh.”
19 Entonces dijeron los príncipes á Baruch: Ve, y escóndete tú y Jeremías, y nadie sepa dónde estáis.
19 Da sprachen die Fürsten zu Baruch: Gehe hin und verbirg dich mit Jeremia, daß niemand wisse, wo ihr seid.
20 Then they went into the open square to the king; but the book they put away in the room of Elishama the scribe; and they gave the king an account of all the words.
20 Ils allèrent ensuite vers le roi dans la cour, laissant le livre dans la chambre d'Élischama, le secrétaire, et ils en rapportèrent toutes les paroles aux oreilles du roi.
20 Leis sin amach leo go dtí an rí i gcúirt an pháláis tar éis an scrolla a chur i dtaisce i seomra Eilíseámá an rúnaí. Agus d'inis siad an scéal go léir don rí.
20 Y entraron al rey al atrio, habiendo depositado el rollo en la cámara de Elisama secretario; y contaron en los oídos del rey todas estas palabras.
20 Sie aber gingen hin zum König in den Vorhof und ließen das Buch behalten in der Kammer Elisamas, des Kanzlers, und sagten vor dem König an alle diese Reden.
21 So the king sent Jehudi to get the book, and he took it from the room of Elishama the scribe. And Jehudi gave a reading of it in the hearing of the king and all the rulers who were by the king's side.
21 Le roi envoya Jehudi pour prendre le livre, Jehudi le prit dans la chambre d'Élischama, le secrétaire, et il le lut aux oreilles du roi et aux oreilles de tous les chefs qui étaient auprès du roi.
21 Chuir an rí Iahúidí faoi dhéin an scrolla agus rug seisean leis é as seomra Eilíseámá an rúnaí, agus léigh amach don rí é agus do na feidhmeannaigh uile agus iad ina seasamh timpeall an rí.
21 Y envió el rey á Jehudí á que tomase el rollo, el cual lo tomó de la cámara de Elisama secretario, y leyó en él Jehudí en oídos del rey, y en oídos de todos los príncipes que junto al rey estaban.
21 Da sandte der König den Judi, das Buch zu holen. Der nahm es aus der Kammer Elisamas, des Kanzlers. Und Judi las vor dem König und allen Fürsten, die bei dem König standen.
22 Now the king was seated in the winter house, and a fire was burning in the fireplace in front of him.
22 Le roi était assis dans la maison d'hiver, -c'était au neuvième mois, -et un brasier était allumé devant lui.

23 And it came about that whenever Jehudi, in his reading, had got through three or four divisions, the king, cutting them with his penknife, put them into the fire, till all the book was burned up in the fire which was burning in the fireplace.
23 Lorsque Jehudi eut lu trois ou quatre feuilles, le roi coupa le livre avec le canif du secrétaire, et le jeta dans le feu du brasier, où il fut entièrement consumé.
23 Ní raibh uair dá mbíodh a trí nó a cheathair de cholúin léite ag Iahúidí nach ngearradh an rí iad le scian scríobhaí agus go gcaitheadh isteach sa tine ar an teallach iad nó gur dódh an scrolla ar fad sa tine ar an teallach.
23 Y fué que, como Jehudí hubo leído tres ó cuatro planas, rasgólo con un cuchillo de escribanía, y echólo en el fuego que había en el brasero, hasta que todo el rollo se consumió sobre el fuego que en el brasero había.
23 Wenn aber Judi drei oder vier Blatt gelesen hatte, zerschnitt er es mit einem Schreibmesser und warf es ins Feuer, das im Kaminherde war, bis das Buch ganz verbrannte im Feuer,
24 But they had no fear and gave no signs of grief, not the king or any of his servants, after hearing all these words.
24 Le roi et tous ses serviteurs, qui entendirent toutes ces paroles, ne furent point effrayés et ne déchirèrent point leurs vêtements.
24 Thairis sin, ní raibh eagla orthu, níor réab siad a n‑éadaí, an rí ná aon duine dá mhuintir dár chuala na briathra seo uile.
24 Y no tuvieron temor, ni rasgaron sus vestidos, el rey y todos sus siervos que oyeron todas estas palabras.
24 und niemand entsetzte sich noch zerriß seine Kleider, weder der König noch seine Knechte, so doch alle diese Reden gehört hatten,
25 And Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah had made a strong request to the king not to let the book be burned, but he would not give ear to them.
25 Elnathan, Delaja et Guemaria, avaient fait des instances auprès du roi pour qu'il ne brûlât pas le livre; mais il ne les écouta pas.
25 D'iarr Ealnátán agus Daláiá agus Gamairiá ar an rí gan an scrolla a dhó, ach má iarr, ní eisteodh sé leo.
25 Y aunque Elnathán y Delaías y Gemarías rogaron al rey que no quemase aquel rollo, no los quiso oir:
25 und wiewohl Elnathan, Delaja und Gemarja den König baten, er wolle das Buch nicht verbrennen, gehorchte er ihnen doch nicht.
26 And the king gave orders to Jerahmeel, the king's son, and Seraiah, the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah, the son of Abdeel, to take Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet: but the Lord kept them safe.
26 Le roi ordonna à Jerachmeel, fils du roi, à Seraja, fils d'Azriel, et à Schélémia, fils d'Abdeel, de saisir Baruc, le secrétaire, et Jérémie, le prophète. Mais l'Éternel les cacha.
26 D'ordaigh an rí don phrionsa Iaramael agus do Sharáiá mac Aisriéil agus do Shealaimiá mac Aibdeal, Barúch an scríobhaí agus an fáidh Irimia a ghabháil. Ach d'fholaigh an Tiarna iad.
26 Antes mandó el rey á Jerameel hijo de Amelech, y á Seraías hijo de Azriel, y á Selemías hijo de Abdeel, que prendiesen á Baruch el escribiente y á Jeremías profeta; mas Jehová los escondió.
26 Dazu gebot noch der König Jerahmeel, dem Königssohn, und Seraja, dem Sohn Asriels, und Selemja, dem Sohn Abdeels, sie sollten Baruch, den Schreiber, und Jeremia, den Propheten, greifen. Aber der HERR hatte sie verborgen.
27 Then after the book, in which Baruch had put down the words of Jeremiah, had been burned by the king, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,
27 La parole de l'Éternel fut adressée à Jérémie, en ces mots, après que le roi eut brûlé le livre contenant les paroles que Baruc avait écrites sous la dictée de Jérémie:
27 Ansin tháinig briathar an Tiarna go Irimia, tar éis don rí an scrolla a dhó agus na briathra a scríobh Barúch as béal Irimia:
27 Y fué palabra de Jehová á Jeremías, después que el rey quemó el rollo, las palabras que Baruch había escrito de boca de Jeremías, diciendo:
27 Da geschah des HERRN Wort zu Jeremia, nachdem der König das Buch und die Reden, so Baruch geschrieben aus dem Munde Jeremia's, verbrannt hatte, und sprach:
28 Take another book and put down in it all the words which were in the first book, which Jehoiakim, king of Judah, put into the fire.
28 Prends de nouveau un autre livre, et tu y écriras toutes les paroles qui étaient dans le premier livre qu'a brûlé Jojakim, roi de Juda.
28 “Glac chugat scrolla eile agus scríobh síos na briathra uile úd a bhí sa chéad scrolla a dhóigh Iahóiácaím rí Iúdá.
28 Vuelve á tomar otro rollo, y escribe en él todas las palabras primeras, que estaban en el primer rollo que quemó Joacim, el rey de Judá.
28 Nimm dir wiederum ein anderes Buch und schreib alle vorigen Reden darein, die im ersten Buche standen, welches Jojakim, der König Juda's, verbrannt hat,
29 And about Jehoiakim, king of Judah, you are to say, This is what the Lord has said: You have put this book into the fire, saying, Why have you put in it that the king of Babylon will certainly come, causing the destruction of this land and putting an end to every man and beast in it?
29 Et sur Jojakim, roi de Juda, tu diras: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Tu as brûlé ce livre, en disant: Pourquoi y as-tu écrit ces paroles: Le roi de Babylone viendra, il détruira ce pays, et il en fera disparaître les hommes et les bêtes?
29 Agus maidir le Iahóiácaím rí Iúdá, abair: ‘Is mar seo a deir an Tiarna: Dhóigh tú an scrolla seo, á rá: Cad chuige ar scríobh tú: Tiocfaidh rí na Bablóine go deimhin agus bánóidh sé an tír seo agus ní fhágfaidh duine ná ainmhí beo inti?
29 Y dirás á Joacim rey de Judá: Así ha dicho Jehová: Tú quemaste este rollo, diciendo: ¿Por qué escribiste en él, diciendo: De cierto, vendrá el rey de Babilonia, y destruirá esta tierra, y hará que no queden en ella hombres ni animales?
29 und sage von Jojakim, dem König Juda's: So spricht der HERR: Du hast dies Buch verbrannt und gesagt: Warum hast du darein geschrieben, daß der König von Babel werde kommen und dies Land verderben und machen, daß weder Leute noch Vieh darin mehr sein werden?
30 For this reason the Lord has said of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, He will have no son to take his place on the seat of David: his dead body will be put out to undergo the heat of the day and the cold of the night.
30 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel sur Jojakim, roi de Juda: Aucun des siens ne sera assis sur le trône de David, et son cadavre sera exposé à la chaleur pendant le jour et au froid pendant la nuit.
30 Mar sin, is mar seo a deir an Tiarna i dtaobh Iahóiácaím rí Iúdá: Ní bheidh duine ar bith aige le suí ar chathaoir ríoga Dháiví; agus teilgfear a chorp marbh amach chun an teaspaigh sa lá agus chun an tseaca san oíche.
30 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová, en orden á Joacim rey de Judá: No tendrá quien se siente sobre el trono de David; y su cuerpo será echado al calor del día y al hielo de la noche.
30 Darum spricht der HERR von Jojakim, dem König Juda's: Es soll keiner von den Seinen auf dem Stuhl Davids sitzen, und sein Leichnam soll hingeworfen des Tages in der Hitze und des Nachts im Frost liegen;
31 And I will send punishment on him and on his seed and on his servants for their evil-doing; I will send on them and on the people of Jerusalem and the men of Judah, all the evil which I said against them, but they did not give ear.
31 Je le châtierai, lui, sa postérité, et ses serviteurs, à cause de leur iniquité, et je ferai venir sur eux, sur les habitants de Jérusalem et sur les hommes de Juda tous les malheurs dont je les ai menacés, sans qu'ils aient voulu m'écouter.
31 Smachtóidh mise é féin agus a oidhrí agus a sheirbhísigh i ndíol a n‑éigeart; orthusan, ar chathróirí Iarúsailéim agus ar mhuintir Iúdá, tabharfaidh mé na hoilc uile a d'fhógair mé ina n‑aghaidh, bíodh agus nár éist siad.’ ”
31 Y visitaré sobre él, y sobre su simiente, y sobre sus siervos, su maldad; y traeré sobre ellos, y sobre los moradores de Jerusalem, y sobre los varones de Judá, todo el mal que les he dicho y no escucharon.
31 und ich will ihn und seinen Samen und seine Knechte heimsuchen um ihrer Missetat willen; und ich will über sie und über die Bürger zu Jerusalem und über die in Juda kommen lassen all das Unglück, davon ich ihnen geredet habe, und sie gehorchten doch nicht.
32 Then Jeremiah took another book, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah, who put down in it, from the mouth of Jeremiah, all the words of the book which had been burned in the fire by Jehoiakim, king of Judah: and in addition a number of other words of the same sort.
32 Jérémie prit un autre livre, et le donna à Baruc, fils de Nérija, le secrétaire. Baruc y écrivit, sous la dictée de Jérémie, toutes les paroles du livre qu'avait brûlé au feu Jojakim, roi de Juda. Beaucoup d'autres paroles semblables y furent encore ajoutées.
