1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, when Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth which were under his rule, and all the peoples, were fighting against Jerusalem and all its towns, saying,
1 La parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de l'Éternel, en ces mots, lorsque Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, avec toute son armée, et tous les royaumes des pays sous sa domination, et tous les peuples, faisaient la guerre à Jérusalem et à toutes les villes qui en dépendaient:
1 An briathar a tháinig go Irimia nuair a bhí Nabúcadnazar agus a shlua uile agus ríochtaí an domhain uile faoina thiarnas agus an uile phobal ag cur cogaidh ar Iarúsailéim agus ar a bailte máguaird:
1 PALABRA que fué á Jeremías de Jehová, (cuando Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, y todo su ejército, y todos los reinos de la tierra del señorío de su mano, y todos los pueblos, peleaban contra Jerusalem, y contra todas sus ciudades,) diciendo:
1 Dies ist das Wort, das vom HERRN geschah zu Jeremia, da Nebukadnezar, der König zu Babel, samt seinem Heer und allen Königreichen auf Erden, so unter seiner Gewalt waren, und allen Völkern stritt wider Jerusalem und alle ihre Städte, und sprach:
2 The Lord, the God of Israel, has said, Go and say to Zedekiah, king of Judah, This is what the Lord has said: See, I will give this town into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he will have it burned with fire:
2 Ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël: Va, et dis à Sédécias, roi de Juda, dis-lui: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Voici, je livre cette ville entre les mains du roi de Babylone, et il la brûlera par le feu.
2 “Is mar seo a deir an Tiarna, Dia Iosrael: ‘Imigh agus labhair le Zidicíá, rí Iúdá. Inis é seo dó: Is mar seo a deir an Tiarna: Táim ag tabhairt na cathrach anois i lámha rí na Bablóine, agus dófaidh sé go talamh í.
2 Así ha dicho Jehová Dios de Israel: Ve, y habla á Sedechîas rey de Judá, y dile: Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí entregaré yo esta ciudad en mano del rey de Babilonia, y la abrasaré con fuego:
2 So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Gehe hin und sage Zedekia, dem König Juda's, und sprich zu ihm: So spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich will diese Stadt in die Hände des Königs zu Babel geben, und er soll sie mit Feuer verbrennen.
3 And you will not get away from him, but will certainly be taken and given up into his hands; and you will see the king of Babylon, eye to eye, and he will have talk with you, mouth to mouth, and you will go to Babylon.
3 Et toi, tu n'échapperas pas à ses mains, mais tu seras pris et livré entre ses mains, tes yeux verront les yeux du roi de Babylone, et il te parlera bouche à bouche, et tu iras à Babylone.
3 Agus ní imeoidh tusa uaidh ach tógfar thú go deimhin agus cuirfear ina láimh thú. Feicfidh tú rí na Bablóine gnúis le gnúis agus labharfaidh tú leis béal ar bhéal. Rachaidh tú don Bhablóin.
3 Y no escaparás tú de su mano, sino que de cierto serás preso, y en su mano serás entregado; y tus ojos verán los ojos del rey de Babilonia, y te hablará boca á boca, y en Babilonia entrarás.
3 Und du sollst seiner Hand nicht entrinnen, sondern gegriffen und in seine Hand gegeben werden, daß du ihn mit Augen sehen und mündlich mit ihm reden wirst, und gen Babel kommen.
4 But give ear to the word of the Lord, O Zedekiah, king of Judah; this is what the Lord has said about you: Death will not come to you by the sword:
4 Seulement écoute la parole de l'Éternel, Sédécias, roi de Juda! Ainsi parle l'Éternel sur toi: Tu ne mourras point par l'épée.
4 Mar sin féin éist briathar an Tiarna, a Zidicíá, a rí Iúdá, agus ní mharófar leis an gclaíomh thú;
4 Con todo eso, oye palabra de Jehová, Sedechîas rey de Judá: Así ha dicho Jehová de ti: No morirás á cuchillo;
4 Doch aber höre, Zedekia, du König Juda's, des HERRN Wort: So spricht der HERR von dir: Du sollst nicht durchs Schwert sterben,
5 You will come to your end in peace; and such burnings as they made for your fathers, the earlier kings before you, will be made for you; and they will be weeping for you and saying, Ah lord! for I have said the word, says the Lord.
5 Tu mourras en paix; et comme on a brûlé des parfums pour tes pères, les anciens rois qui t'ont précédé, ainsi on en brûlera pour toi, et l'on te pleurera, en disant: Hélas, seigneur! Car j'ai prononcé cette parole, dit l'Éternel.
5 éagfaidh tú i síocháin. Agus faoi mar a loisceadh spíosraí do d'aithreacha, na ríthe a bhí romhat in anallód, is mar sin a loiscfidh siad spíosraí duitse agus a chaoinfidh siad thú: Mo léan, a mhórgacht! Dúirt mise é - is é an Tiarna a labhraíonn.’ ”
5 En paz morirás, y conforme á las quemas de tus padres, los reyes primeros que fueron antes de ti, así quemarán por ti, y te endecharán diciendo, ¡Ay, señor!; porque yo he hablado la palabra, dice Jehová.
5 sondern du sollst im Frieden sterben. Und wie deinen Vätern, den vorigen Königen, die vor dir gewesen sind, so wird man auch dir einen Brand anzünden und dich beklagen: "Ach Herr!" denn ich habe es geredet, spricht der HERR.
6 Then Jeremiah the prophet said all these things to Zedekiah, king of Judah, in Jerusalem,
6 Jérémie, le prophète, dit toutes ces paroles à Sédécias, roi de Juda, à Jérusalem.
6 D'inis Irimia fáidh na briathra seo uile do Zidicíá rí Iúdá, in Iarúsailéim,
6 Y habló Jeremías profeta á Sedechîas rey de Judá todas estas palabras en Jerusalem.
6 Und der Prophet Jeremia redete alle diese Worte zu Zedekia, dem König Juda's, zu Jerusalem,
7 When the army of the king of Babylon was fighting against Jerusalem and against all the towns of Judah which had not been taken, against Lachish and against Azekah; for these were the last of the walled towns of Judah.
7 Et l'armée du roi de Babylone combattait contre Jérusalem et contre toutes les autres villes de Juda, contre Lakis et Azéka, car c'étaient des villes fortes qui restaient parmi les villes de Juda.
7 nuair a bhí slua rí na Bablóine ag ionsaí Iarúsailéim agus bailte Iúdá a sheas amach fós, mar atá Láicís agus Azaecá, a raibh fágtha de bhailte Iúdá gan géilleadh, mar bhí siad daingnithe. Na Sclábhaithe Fuascailte
7 Y el ejército del rey de Babilonia peleaba contra Jerusalem, y contra todas las ciudades de Judá que habían quedado, contra Lachîs, y contra Azeca; porque de las ciudades fuertes de Judá éstas habían quedado.
7 da das Heer des Königs zu Babel schon stritt wider Jerusalem und wider alle übrigen Städte Juda's, nämlich wider Lachis und Aseka; denn diese waren noch übriggeblieben von den festen Städten Juda's.
8 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, after King Zedekiah had made an agreement with all the people in Jerusalem, to give news in public that servants were to be made free;
8 La parole fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de l'Éternel, après que le roi Sédécias eut fait un pacte avec tout le peuple de Jérusalem, pour publier la liberté,
8 An briathar a tháinig go Irimia ón Tiarna tar éis don rí Zidicíá conradh a dhéanamh leis an bpobal uile in Iarúsailéim maidir le saoirse a thabhairt dá sclábhaithe:
8 Palabra que fué á Jeremías de Jehová, después que Sedechîas hizo concierto con todo el pueblo en Jerusalem, para promulgarles libertad:
8 Dies ist das Wort, so vom HERRN geschah zu Jeremia, nachdem der König Zedekia einen Bund gemacht hatte mit dem ganzen Volk zu Jerusalem, ein Freijahr auszurufen,
9 That every man was to let his Hebrew man-servant and his Hebrew servant-girl go free; so that no one might make use of a Jew, his countryman, as a servant:
9 afin que chacun renvoyât libres son esclave et sa servante, l'Hébreu et la femme de l'Hébreu, et que personne ne tînt plus dans la servitude le Juif, son frère.
9 go ligfeadh gach uile dhuine a sclabhaithe uaidh, idir fhir agus mhná, má ba Eabhraigh iad, ionas nach gcoinneodh Giúdach ar bith a dheartháir i ndaoirse.
9 Que cada uno dejase su siervo, y cada uno su sierva, hebreo y hebrea, libres; que ninguno usase de los Judíos su hermanos como de siervos.
9 daß ein jeglicher seinen Knecht und seine Magd, so Hebräer und Hebräerin wären, sollte freigeben, daß kein Jude den andern leibeigen hielte.
10 And this was done by all the rulers and the people who had taken part in the agreement, and every one let his man-servant and his servant-girl go free, not to be used as servants any longer; they did so, and let them go.
10 Tous les chefs et tout le peuple, qui étaient entrés dans le pacte, s'engagèrent à renvoyer libres chacun son esclave et sa servante, afin de ne plus les tenir dans la servitude; ils obéirent, et les renvoyèrent.
10 Na prionsaí uile agus an pobal uile a chuaigh sa chonradh go ligfeadh gach aon duine dá sclábhaithe, idir fhir agus mhná, imeacht uaidh, agus nach gcoinneodh ina sclábhaithe iad níos mó, d'aontaigh siad agus lig saor iad.
10 Y como oyeron todos los príncipes, y todo el pueblo que habían venido en el concierto de dejar cada uno su siervo y cada uno su sierva libres, que ninguno usase más de ellos como de siervos, obedecieron, y dejáronlos.
10 Da gehorchten alle Fürsten und alles Volk, die solchen Bund eingegangen waren, daß ein jeglicher sollte seinen Knecht und seine Magd freigeben und sie nicht mehr leibeigen halten, und gaben sie los.
11 But later, they took back again the servants and the servant-girls whom they had let go free, and put them again under the yoke as servants and servant-girls.
11 Mais ensuite ils changèrent d'avis; ils reprirent les esclaves et les servantes qu'ils avaient affranchis, et les forcèrent à redevenir esclaves et servantes.
11 Ina dhiaidh sin, áfach, tháinig siad ar mhalairt aigne, thóg siad ar ais na sclábhaithe, idir fhir agus mhná, agus cuireadh faoi chuing arís mar sclábhaithe iad.
11 Mas después se arrepintieron, é hicieron tornar los siervos y las siervas que habían dejado libres, y sujetáronlos por siervos y por siervas.
11 Aber darnach kehrten sie sich um und forderten die Knechte und Mägde wieder zu sich, die sie freigegeben hatten, und zwangen sie, daß sie Knechte und Mägde sein mußten.
12 For this reason the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
12 Alors la parole de l'Éternel fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de l'Éternel, en ces mots:
12 Mar sin tháinig briathar an Tiarna go Irimia:
12 Y fué palabra de Jehová á Jeremías, de parte de Jehová, diciendo:
12 Da geschah des HERRN Wort zu Jeremia vom HERRN und sprach:
13 The Lord, the God of Israel, has said, I made an agreement with your fathers on the day when I took them out of Egypt, out of the prison-house, saying,
13 Ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël: J'ai fait une alliance avec vos pères, le jour où je les ai fait sortir du pays d'Égypte, de la maison de servitude; et je leur ai dit:
13 “Is mar seo a deir an Tiarna, Dia Iosrael: ‘Rinne mé conradh le bhur n‑aithreacha nuair a thug mé amach as an Éigipt iad, as teach na daoirse; dúradh ann:
13 Así dice Jehová Dios de Israel: Yo hice pacto con vuestros padres el día que los saqué de tierra de Egipto, de casa de siervos, diciendo:
13 So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Ich habe einen Bund gemacht mit euren Vätern, da ich sie aus Ägyptenland, aus dem Diensthause, führte und sprach:
14 At the end of seven years every man is to let go his countryman who is a Hebrew, who has become yours for a price and has been your servant for six years; you are to let him go free: but your fathers gave no attention and did not give ear.
14 Au bout de sept ans, chacun de vous renverra libre son frère hébreu qui se vend à lui; il te servira six années, puis tu le renverras libre de chez toi. Mais vos pères ne m'ont point écouté, ils n'ont point prêté l'oreille.
14 I gceann seacht mbliana ligeadh gach aon duine agaibh dá dheartháir Eabhrach, a díoladh libh, imeacht; tar éis sé bliana dó ina sclábhaí agat ligfidh tú dó imeacht saor uait. Ach níor éist bhur n‑aithreacha, ní thabharfaidís aird.
14 Al cabo de siete años dejaréis cada uno á su hermano hebreo que te fuere vendido; te servirá pues seis años, y lo enviarás libre de ti: mas vuestros padres no me oyeron, ni inclinaron su oído.
14 Im siebenten Jahr soll ein jeglicher seinen Bruder, der ein Hebräer ist und sich ihm verkauft und sechs Jahre gedient hat, frei von sich lassen. Aber eure Väter gehorchten mir nicht und neigten ihre Ohren nicht.
15 And now, turning away from evil, you had done what is right in my eyes, giving a public undertaking for every man to make his neighbour free; and you had made an agreement before me in the house which is named by my name:
15 Vous, vous aviez fait aujourd'hui un retour sur vous-mêmes, vous aviez fait ce qui est droit à mes yeux, en publiant la liberté chacun pour son prochain, vous aviez fait un pacte devant moi, dans la maison sur laquelle mon nom est invoqué.
15 Anois, bhí intinn eile agaibh inniu agus rinne sibh an ceart i mo radharc, gach aon duine a fhógairt saoirse dá chomharsa; rinne sibh conradh i mo láthair sa Teampall a ghairtear i mo ainm.
15 Y vosotros os habíais hoy convertido, y hecho lo recto delante de mis ojos, anunciando cada uno libertad á su prójimo; y habíais hecho concierto en mi presencia, en la casa sobre la cual es invocado mi nombre:
15 So habt ihr euch heute bekehrt und getan, was mir wohl gefiel, daß ihr ein Freijahr ließet ausrufen, ein jeglicher seinem Nächsten; und habt darüber einen Bund gemacht vor mir im Hause, das nach meinem Namen genannt ist.
16 But again you have put shame on my name, and you have taken back, every one his man-servant and his servant-girl, whom you had sent away free, and you have put them under the yoke again to be your servants and servant-girls.
16 Mais vous êtes revenus en arrière, et vous avez profané mon nom; vous avez repris chacun les esclaves et les servantes que vous aviez affranchis, rendus à eux-mêmes, et vous les avez forcés à redevenir vos esclaves et vos servantes.
16 Agus ansin tháinig sibh ar mhalairt aigne agus thruailligh sibh m'ainm; thóg gach aon duine agaibh a sclábhaithe ar ais, idir fhir agus mhná, a bhí ligthe saor agaibh ar a dtoil féin, á dtabhairt faoi dhaoirse agaibh arís.’
16 Pero os habéis vuelto y profanado mi nombre, y habéis tornado á tomar cada uno su siervo y cada uno su sierva, que habíais dejado libres á su voluntad; y los habéis sujetado á seros siervos y siervas.
16 Aber ihr seid umgeschlagen und entheiligt meinen Namen; und ein jeglicher fordert seinen Knecht und seine Magd wieder, die ihr hattet freigegeben, daß sie selbst eigen wären, und zwingt sie nun, daß sie eure Knechte und Mägde sein müssen.
17 And so the Lord has said, You have not given ear to me and undertaken publicly, every man to let loose his countryman and his neighbour: see, I undertake to let loose against you the sword and disease and need of food; and I will send you wandering among all the kingdoms of the earth.
17 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel: Vous ne m'avez point obéi, en publiant la liberté chacun pour son frère, chacun pour son prochain. Voici, je publie contre vous, dit l'Éternel, la liberté de l'épée, de la peste et de la famine, et je vous rendrai un objet d'effroi pour tous les royaumes de la terre.
17 “Dá bhrí sin, is mar seo a deir an Tiarna: ‘Níor umhlaigh sibh domsa, gach duine saoirse a fhógairt dá dheartháir agus dá chomharsa. Tá go maith mar sin - is é an Tiarna a labhraíonn - fógraímse daoibhse saoirse chun an chlaímh, na plá agus chun an ghorta; déanfaidh mé díol uafáis díbh don uile ríocht ar domhan.
17 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: Vosotros no me habéis oído en promulgar cada uno libertad á su hermano, y cada uno á su compañero: he aquí que yo os promulgo libertad, dice Jehová, á cuchillo y á pestilencia, y á hambre; y os pondré en remoción á todos los reinos de la tierra.
17 Darum spricht der HERR also: Ihr gehorchtet mir nicht, daß ihr ein Freijahr ausriefet ein jeglicher seinem Bruder und seinem Nächsten; siehe, so rufe ich, spricht der HERR, euch ein Freijahr aus zum Schwert, zur Pestilenz, zum Hunger, und will euch in keinem Königreich auf Erden bleiben lassen.
18 And I will give the men who have gone against my agreement and have not given effect to the words of the agreement which they made before me, when the ox was cut in two and they went between the parts of it,
18 Je livrerai les hommes qui ont violé mon alliance, qui n'ont pas observé les conditions du pacte qu'ils avaient fait devant moi, en coupant un veau en deux et en passant entre ses morceaux;
18 Agus na fir seo a bhris mo chonradh agus nár chomhlíon briathar an chonartha a rinneadh i mo láthairse, díolfaidh mé leo amhail an lao a ghearr siad le go dtriallfaidís idir na coda.
18 Y entregaré á los hombres que traspasaron mi pacto, que no han llevado á efecto las palabras del pacto que celebraron en mi presencia dividiendo en dos partes el becerro y pasando por medio de ellas:
18 Und will die Leute, die meinen Bund übertreten und die Worte des Bundes, den sie vor mir gemacht haben, nicht halten, so machen wie das Kalb, das sie in zwei Stücke geteilt haben und sind zwischen den Teilen hingegangen,
19 The rulers of Judah and the rulers of Jerusalem, the unsexed servants and the priests and all the people of the land who went between the parts of the ox,
19 je livrerai les chefs de Juda et les chefs de Jérusalem, les eunuques, les sacrificateurs, et tout le peuple du pays, qui ont passé entre les morceaux du veau;
19 Maidir le prionsaí Iúdá agus Iarúsailéim, leis na coillteáin agus na sagairt, agus pobal uile na tíre a chuaigh idir coda an lao,
19 A los príncipes de Judá y á los príncipes de Jerusalem, á los eunucos y á los sacerdotes, y á todo el pueblo de la tierra, que pasaron entre las partes del becerro,
19 nämlich die Fürsten Juda's, die Fürsten Jerusalems, die Kämmerer, die Priester und das ganze Volk im Lande, so zwischen des Kalbes Stücken hingegangen sind.
20 Even these I will give up into the hands of their haters and into the hands of those who have designs against their lives: and their dead bodies will become food for the birds of heaven and the beasts of the earth.
20 je les livrerai entre les mains de leurs ennemis, entre les mains de ceux qui en veulent à leur vie, et leurs cadavres serviront de pâture aux oiseaux du ciel et aux bêtes de la terre.
20 tabharfaidh mise iadsan i láimh a namhad agus i láimh na droinge a iarrann a mbás; beidh a gcorpáin mar bhia ag éanlaith an aeir agus ag ainmhithe na talún.
20 Entregarélos en mano de sus enemigos y en mano de los que buscan su alma; y sus cuerpos muertos serán para comida de las aves del cielo, y de las bestias de la tierra.
20 Und will sie geben in ihrer Feinde Hand und derer, die ihnen nach dem Leben stehen, daß ihre Leichname sollen den Vögeln unter dem Himmel und den Tieren auf Erden zur Speise werden.
21 And Zedekiah, king of Judah, and his rulers I will give into the hands of their haters and into the hands of those who have designs against their lives, and into the hands of the king of Babylon's army which has gone away from you.
21 Je livrerai Sédécias, roi de Juda, et ses chefs, entre les mains de leurs ennemis, entre les mains de ceux qui en veulent à leur vie, entre les mains de l'armée du roi de Babylone, qui s'est éloigné de vous.
21 Maidir le Zidicíá rí Iúdá agus a phrionsaí, tabharfaidh mé iadsan freisin i láimh a namhad agus i láimh na droinge a iarrann a mbás, agus i láimh slua rí na Bablóine atá díreach tar éis tarraingt siar uaibh.
21 Y á Sedechîas rey de Judá, y á sus príncipes, entregaré en mano de sus enemigos, y en mano de los que buscan su alma, y en mano del ejército del rey de Babilonia, que se fueron de vosotros.
21 Und Zedekia, den König Juda's, und seine Fürsten will ich geben in die Hände ihrer Feinde und derer, die ihnen nach dem Leben stehen, und dem Heer des Königs zu Babel, die jetzt von euch abgezogen sind.
22 See, I will give orders, says the Lord, and make them come back to this town; and they will make war on it and take it and have it burned with fire: and I will make the towns of Judah waste and unpeopled.
22 Voici, je donnerai mes ordres, dit l'Éternel, et je les ramènerai contre cette ville; ils l'attaqueront, ils la prendront, et la brûleront par le feu. Et je ferai des villes de Juda un désert sans habitants.
