1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord in the tenth year of Zedekiah, king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar.
1 La parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de l'Éternel, la dixième année de Sédécias, roi de Juda. -C'était la dix-huitième année de Nebucadnetsar.
1 An briathar a tháinig go Irimia ón Tiarna sa deichiú bliain de Zidicíá rí Iúdá, arbh í an t‑ochtú bliain déag de réimeas Nabúcadnazar í.
1 PALABRA que fué á Jeremías, de Jehová el año décimo de Sedechîas rey de Judá, que fué el año décimo octavo de Nabucodonosor.
1 Dies ist das Wort, das vom HERRN geschah zu Jeremia im zehnten Jahr Zedekias, des Königs in Juda, welches ist das achtzehnte Jahr Nebukadnezars.
2 Now at that time the king of Babylon's army was round Jerusalem, shutting it in: and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the place of the armed watchmen, in the house of the king of Judah.
2 L'armée du roi de Babylone assiégeait alors Jérusalem; et Jérémie, le prophète, était enfermé dans la cour de la prison qui était dans la maison du roi de Juda.
2 San am sin bhí Iarúsailéim faoi léigear ag arm rí na Bablóine, agus cuireadh Irimia fáidh faoi ghlas i gCúirt an Gharda a bhí i bpálás rí Iúdá,
2 Y entonces el ejército del rey de Babilonia tenía cercada á Jerusalem; y el profeta Jeremías estaba preso en el patio de la cárcel que estaba en la casa del rey de Judá.
2 Dazumal belagerte das Heer des Königs zu Babel Jerusalem. Aber der Prophet Jeremia lag gefangen im Vorhof des Gefängnisses am Hause des Königs in Juda,
3 For Zedekiah, king of Judah, had had him shut up, saying, Why have you, as a prophet, been saying, The Lord has said, See, I will give this town into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he will take it;
3 Sédécias, roi de Juda, l'avait fait enfermer, et lui avait dit: Pourquoi prophétises-tu, en disant: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Voici, je livre cette ville entre les mains du roi de Babylone, et il la prendra;
3 óir is ann a chuir Zidicíá rí Iúdá i bpríosún é. “Cad chuige duit,” ar sé, “ag tairngreacht mar seo, á rá: ‘Is mar seo a deir an Tiarna: Tabharfaidh mé an chathair seo i láimh rí na Bablóine le go ngabhfaidh sé í,
3 Pues Sedechîas rey de Judá lo había preso, diciendo: ¿Por qué profetizas tú diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo entrego esta ciudad en mano del rey de Babilonia, y tomarála,
3 dahin Zedekia, der König Juda's, ihn hatte lassen verschließen und gesagt: Warum weissagst du und sprichst: So spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich gebe diese Stadt in die Hände des Königs zu Babel, und er soll sie gewinnen;
4 And Zedekiah, king of Judah, will not get away from the hands of the Chaldaeans, but will certainly be given up into the hands of the king of Babylon, and will have talk with him, mouth to mouth, and see him, eye to eye.
4 Sédécias, roi de Juda, n'échappera pas aux Chaldéens, mais il sera livré entre les mains du roi de Babylone, il lui parlera bouche à bouche, et ses yeux verront ses yeux;
4 agus ní rachaidh Zidicíá rí Iúdá as láimh na gCaildéach, ach go deimhin tabharfar i láimh rí na Bablóine é, agus labhróidh sé leis béal ar bhéal agus feicfidh sé é gnúis le gnúis.
4 Y Sedechîas rey de Judá no escapará de la mano de los Caldeos, sino que de cierto será entregado en mano del rey de Babilonia, y hablará con él boca á boca, y sus ojos verán sus ojos,
4 und Zedekia, der König Juda's, soll den Chaldäern nicht entrinnen, sondern ich will ihn dem König zu Babel in die Hände geben, daß er mündlich mit ihm reden und mit seinen Augen ihn sehen soll.
5 And he will take Zedekiah away to Babylon, where he will be till I have pity on him, says the Lord: though you are fighting with the Chaldaeans, things will not go well for you?
5 le roi de Babylone emmènera Sédécias à Babylone, où il restera jusqu'à ce que je me souvienne de lui, dit l'Éternel; si vous vous battez contre les Chaldéens, vous n'aurez point de succès.
5 Tógfaidh sé Zidicíá don Bhablóin agus fanfaidh sé ansin [go dtaga mise ar cuairt chuige - an Tiarna a labhraíonn. Má tá go dtroidfidh sibh leis na Caildéigh ní bhéarfaidh sibh bua!]’?”
5 Y hará llevar á Sedechîas á Babilonia, y allá estará hasta que yo le visite, dice Jehová: si peleareis con los Caldeos, no os sucederá bien?
5 Und er wird Zedekia gen Babel führen; da soll er auch bleiben, bis daß ich ihn heimsuche, spricht der HERR; denn ob ihr schon wider die Chaldäer streitet, soll euch doch nichts gelingen.
6 And Jeremiah said, The word of the Lord came to me, saying,
6 Jérémie dit: La parole de l'Éternel m'a été adressée, en ces mots:
6 Dúirt Irimia: “Tháinig briathar an Tiarna chugamsa á rá:
6 Y dijo Jeremías: Palabra de Jehová fué á mí, diciendo:
6 Und Jeremia sprach: Es ist des HERRN Wort geschehen zu mir und spricht:
7 See, Hanamel, the son of Shallum, your father's brother, will come to you and say, Give the price and get for yourself my property in Anathoth: for you have the right of the nearest relation.
7 Voici, Hanameel, fils de ton oncle Schallum, va venir auprès de toi pour te dire: Achète mon champ qui est à Anathoth, car tu as le droit de rachat pour l'acquérir.
7 Féach, tiocfaidh Hanamael mac Shealúm deartháir d'athar chugat agus déarfaidh: Ceannaigh duit féin mo gharraí in Anatót, óir is leat ceart a fhuascailte ar phraghas.
7 He aquí que Hanameel, hijo de Sallum tu tío, viene á ti, diciendo: Cómprame mi heredad que está en Anathoth; porque tú tienes derecho á ella para comprarla.
7 Siehe, Hanameel, der Sohn Sallums, deines Oheims, kommt zu dir und wird sagen: Kaufe du meinen Acker zu Anathoth; denn du hast das nächste Freundrecht dazu, daß du ihn kaufen sollst.
8 So Hanamel, the son of my father's brother, came to me, as the Lord had said, to the place of the armed watchmen, and said to me, Give the price and get my property which is in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin: for you have the nearest relation's right to the heritage; so get it for yourself. Then it was clear to me that this was the word of the Lord.
8 Et Hanameel, fils de mon oncle, vint auprès de moi, selon la parole de l'Éternel, dans la cour de la prison, et il me dit: Achète mon champ, qui est à Anathoth, dans le pays de Benjamin, car tu as le droit d'héritage et de rachat, achète-le! Je reconnus que c'était la parole de l'Éternel.
8 Agus faoi mar a bhí ráite ag an Tiarna tháinig Hanamael mo chol ceathrar chugamsa i gCúirt an Gharda. Dúirt liom: ‘Ceannaigh mo gharraí atá in Anatót, óir is leat ceart a oidhreachta agus a fhuascailte, ceannaigh duit féin é.’ Bhí a fhios ansin agam gurbh é sin ordú an Tiarna.
8 Y vino á mí Hanameel, hijo de mi tío, conforme á la palabra de Jehová, al patio de la cárcel, y díjome: Compra ahora mi heredad que está en Anathoth, en tierra de Benjamín, porque tuyo es el derecho de la herencia, y á ti compete la redención: cómprala para ti. Entonces conocí que era palabra de Jehová.
8 Also kam Hanameel, meines Oheims Sohn, wie der HERR gesagt hatte, zu mir in den Hof des Gefängnisses und sprach zu mir: Kaufe doch meinen Acker zu Anathoth, der im Lande Benjamin liegt; denn du hast Erbrecht dazu, und du bist der nächste; kaufe du ihn! Da merkte ich, daß es des Herrn Wort wäre,
9 So I got for a price the property in Anathoth from Hanamel, the son of my father's brother, and gave him the money, seventeen shekels of silver;
9 J'achetai de Hanameel, fils de mon oncle, le champ qui est à Anathoth, et je lui pesai l'argent, dix-sept sicles d'argent.
9 Mar sin cheannaigh mé an garraí ó mo chol ceathrar Hanamael as Anatót agus d'íoc leis an luach, seacht seicil déag airgid.
9 Y compré la heredad de Hanameel, hijo de mi tío, la cual estaba en Anathoth, y peséle el dinero: diecisiete siclos de plata.
9 und kaufte den Acker von Hanameel, meines Oheims Sohn, zu Anathoth, und wog ihm das Geld dar, siebzehn Silberlinge.
10 And I put it in writing, stamping it with my stamp, and I took witnesses and put the money into the scales.
10 J'écrivis un contrat, que je cachetai, je pris des témoins, et je pesai l'argent dans une balance.
10 Scríobh mé amach an cuntas agus shéalaigh é, ghlaoigh mé ar fhinnéithe agus thomhais an t‑airgead sa mheá.
10 Y escribí la carta, y selléla, é hice atestiguar á testigos, y pesé el dinero con balanza.
10 Und ich schrieb einen Brief und versiegelte ihn und nahm Zeugen dazu und wog das Geld dar auf einer Waage
11 So I took the paper witnessing the business, one copy rolled up and stamped, and one copy open:
11 Je pris ensuite le contrat d'acquisition, celui qui était cacheté, conformément à la loi et aux usages, et celui qui était ouvert;
11 Ansin ghlac mé scríbhinn an cheannaithe agus é séalaithe de réir an dlí mar aon lena cóip oscailte,
11 Tomé luego la carta de venta, sellada según el derecho y costumbre, y el traslado abierto.
11 und nahm zu mir den versiegelten Kaufbrief nach Recht und Gewohnheit und eine offene Abschrift
12 And I gave the paper to Baruch, the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, before the eyes of Hanamel, the son of my father's brother, and of the witnesses who had put their names to the paper, and before all the Jews who were seated in the place of the armed watchmen.
12 et je remis le contrat d'acquisition à Baruc, fils de Nérija, fils de Machséja, en présence de Hanameel, fils de mon oncle, en présence des témoins qui avaient signé le contrat d'acquisition, et en présence de tous les juifs qui se trouvaient dans la cour de la prison.
12 agus thug mé scríbhinn an cheannaithe do Bharúch mac Néiria, mac Mhásaeiá, i radharc Hanamael, mo chol ceathrar, i radharc na bhfinnéithe a shínigh an scríbhinn cheannaithe agus na nGiúdach uile a tharla a bheith i gCúirt an Gharda san am.
12 Y dí la carta de venta á Baruch hijo de Nerías, hijo de Maasías, delante de Hanameel el hijo de mi tío, y delante de los testigos que habían suscrito en la carta de venta, delante de todos los Judíos que estaban en el patio de la cárcel.
12 und gab den Kaufbrief Baruch, dem Sohn Nerias, des Sohnes Maasejas, in Gegenwart Hanameels, meines Vetters, und der Zeugen, die im Kaufbrief geschrieben standen, und aller Juden, die im Hofe des Gefängnisses saßen,
13 And I gave orders to Baruch in front of them, saying,
13 Et je donnai devant eux cet ordre à Baruc:
13 Ina láthair siúd thug mé na treoracha seo a leanas do Bharúch:
13 Y dí orden á Baruch delante de ellos, diciendo:
13 und befahl Baruch vor ihren Augen und sprach:
14 This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: Take these papers, the witness of this business, the one which is rolled up and stamped, and the one which is open; and put them in a vessel of earth so that they may be kept for a long time.
14 Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Prends ces écrits, ce contrat d'acquisition, celui qui est cacheté et celui qui est ouvert, et mets-les dans un vase de terre, afin qu'ils se conservent longtemps.
14 ‘Tóg na scríbhinní seo, an scríbhinn cheannaithe atá séalaithe mar aon lena cóip oscailte, agus cuir i soitheach cré iad, ionas go maire siad seal fada.”
14 Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Toma estas cartas, esta carta de venta, la sellada, y ésta la carta abierta, y ponlas en un vaso de barro, para que se guarden muchos días.
14 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Nimm diese Briefe, den versiegelten Kaufbrief samt dieser offenen Abschrift, und lege sie in ein irdenes Gefäß, daß sie lange bleiben mögen.
15 For the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said, There will again be trading in houses and fields and vine-gardens in this land.
15 Car ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: On achètera encore des maisons, des champs et des vignes, dans ce pays.
15 Óir is mar seo a deir Tiarna na Slua, Dia Iosrael: ‘Ceannóidh daoine garraithe agus fíniúna arís sa tír seo.’
15 Porque así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Aun se comprarán casas, y heredades, y viñas en esta tierra.
15 Denn so spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Noch soll man Häuser, Äcker und Weinberge kaufen in diesem Lande.
16 Now after I had given the paper to Baruch, the son of Neriah, I made my prayer to the Lord, saying,
16 Après que j'eus remis le contrat d'acquisition à Baruc, fils de Nérija, j'adressai cette prière à l'Éternel:
16 “Tar éis dom an scríbhinn cheannaithe a thabhairt do Bharúch mac Néiria ghuigh mé an Tiarna mar seo:
16 Y después que dí la carta de venta á Baruch hijo de Nerías, oré á Jehová, diciendo:
16 Und da ich den Kaufbrief hatte Baruch, dem Sohn Nerias, gegeben, betete ich zum HERRN und sprach:
17 Ah Lord God! see, you have made the heaven and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm, and there is nothing you are not able to do:
17 Ah! Seigneur Éternel, Voici, tu as fait les cieux et la terre Par ta grande puissance et par ton bras étendu: Rien n'est étonnant de ta part.
17 ‘Á, a Thiarna Dia, is tú a chruthaigh neamh agus talamh le do chumhacht mhór agus le do láimh sínte amach. Níl aon rud dodhéanta duitse.
17 ¡Oh Señor Jehová! he aquí que tú hiciste el cielo y la tierra con tu gran poder, y con tu brazo extendido, ni hay nada que sea difícil para ti:
17 Ach HERR HERR, siehe, du hast Himmel und Erde gemacht durch deine große Kraft und durch deinen ausgestreckten Arm, und ist kein Ding vor dir unmöglich;
18 You have mercy on thousands, and send punishment for the evil-doing of the fathers on their children after them: the great, the strong God, the Lord of armies is his name:
18 Tu fais miséricorde jusqu'à la millième génération, Et tu punis l'iniquité des pères dans le sein de leurs enfants après eux. Tu es le Dieu grand, le puissant, Dont le nom est l'Éternel des armées.
18 Taispeánann tú cineáltas do na mílte, ach cúitíonn tú éigeart na n‑aithreacha go hiomlán lena gclann ina ndiaidh. Dia mór, cumhachtach, arb é Tiarna na Slua a ainm!
18 Que haces misericordia en millares, y vuelves la maldad de los padres en el seno de sus hijos después de ellos: Dios grande, poderoso, Jehová de los ejércitos es su nombre:
18 der du wohltust vielen Tausenden und vergiltst die Missetat der Väter in den Busen ihrer Kinder nach ihnen, du großer und starker Gott; HERR Zebaoth ist dein Name;
19 Great in wisdom and strong in act: whose eyes are open on all the ways of the sons of men, giving to everyone the reward of his ways and the fruit of his doings:
19 Tu es grand en conseil et puissant en action; Tu as les yeux ouverts sur toutes les voies des enfants des hommes, Pour rendre à chacun selon ses voies, Selon le fruit de ses oeuvres.
19 Mór i gcomhairle, agus cumasach i ngníomh, a bhfuil a shúile oscailte ar bhealaí uile na ndaoine, a thabhairt do gach aon duine de réir a shlite agus torthaí a ghníomhartha!
19 Grande en consejo, y magnífico en hechos: porque tus ojos están abiertos sobre todos los caminos de los hijos de los hombres, para dar á cada uno según sus caminos, y según el fruto de sus obras:
19 groß von Rat und mächtig von Tat, und deine Augen stehen offen über alle Wege der Menschenkinder, daß du einem jeglichen gibst nach seinem Wandel und nach der Frucht seines Wesens;
20 You have done signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, and even to this day, in Israel and among other men; and have made a name for yourself as at this day;
20 Tu as fait des miracles et des prodiges dans le pays d'Égypte jusqu'à ce jour, Et en Israël et parmi les hommes, Et tu t'es fait un nom comme il l'est aujourd'hui.
20 Rinne tú comharthaí agus iontais i dtír na hÉigipte agus mar an gcéanna inniu in Iosrael agus i measc an chine dhaonna. Rinne tú an t‑ainm duit féin atá agat inniu.
20 Que pusiste señales y portentos en tierra de Egipto hasta este día, y en Israel, y entre los hombres; y te has hecho nombre cual es este día;
20 der du in Ägyptenland hast Zeichen und Wunder getan bis auf diesen Tag, an Israel und den Menschen, und hast dir einen Namen gemacht, wie er heutigestages ist;
21 And have taken your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and with wonders and with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, causing great fear;
21 Tu as fait sortir du pays d'Égypte ton peuple d'Israël, Avec des miracles et des prodiges, à main forte et à bras étendu, Et avec une grande terreur.
21 Thug tú amach do phobal as crích na hÉigipte le comharthaí agus le hiontais, le láimh láidir agus le géag sínte amach agus le huafás mór.
21 Y sacaste tu pueblo Israel de tierra de Egipto con señales y portentos, y con mano fuerte y brazo extendido, con terror grande;
21 und hast dein Volk Israel aus Ägyptenland geführt durch Zeichen und Wunder, durch deine mächtige Hand, durch ausgestrecktem Arm und durch großen Schrecken;
22 And have given them this land, which you gave your word to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;
22 Tu leur as donné ce pays, Que tu avais juré à leurs pères de leur donner, Pays où coulent le lait et le miel.
22 Ansin thug tú an fearann seo dóibh a mhionnaigh tú a thabharfá dá n‑aithreacha, fearann le bainne agus mil ina slaoda.
22 Y dísteles esta tierra, de la cual juraste á sus padres que se la darías, tierra que mana leche y miel:
22 und hast ihnen dies Land gegeben, welches du ihren Vätern geschworen hattest, daß du es ihnen geben wolltest, ein Land, darin Milch und Honig fließt:
23 And they came in and took it for their heritage, but they did not give ear to your voice, and were not ruled by your law; they have done nothing of all you gave them orders to do: so you have made all this evil come on them:
23 Ils sont venus, et ils en ont pris possession. Mais ils n'ont point obéi à ta voix, Ils n'ont point observé ta loi, Ils n'ont pas fait tout ce que tu leur avais ordonné de faire. Et c'est alors que tu as fait fondre sur eux tous ces malheurs!
23 Agus tháinig siad ann agus shealbhaigh é. Ach níor umhlaigh siad do do ghuthsa, ní mó a shiúil siad i do dhlí: ní dhearna siad aon ní den uile ní a d'ordaigh tú dóibh a dhéanamh; ar an ábhar sin thug tú faoi deara an t‑olc seo uile a theacht orthu.
23 Y entraron, y poseyéronla: mas no oyeron tu voz, ni anduvieron en tu ley; nada hicieron de lo que les mandaste hacer; por tanto has hecho venir sobre ellos todo este mal.
23 und da sie hineinkamen und es besaßen, gehorchten sie deiner Stimme nicht, wandelten auch nicht nach deinem Gesetz; und alles, was du ihnen gebotest, daß sie es tun sollten, das ließen sie; darum du auch ihnen all dies Unglück ließest widerfahren;
24 See, they have made earthworks against the town to take it; and the town is given into the hands of the Chaldaeans who are fighting against it, because of the sword and need of food and disease: and what you have said has taken place, and truly you see it.
24 Voici, les terrasses s'élèvent contre la ville et la menacent; La ville sera livrée entre les mains des Chaldéens qui l'attaquent, Vaincue par l'épée, par la famine et par la peste. Ce que tu as dit est arrivé, et tu le vois.
24 Féach, na mótaí ag teacht i ngar don chathair le haghaidh a gabhála! Tabharfaidh an claíomh, an gorta agus an phlá an chathair i láimh na gCaildéach. An rud a dúirt tú tá sé tagtha i gcrích anois, feiceann tú é.
24 He aquí que con arietes han acometido la ciudad para tomarla; y la ciudad va á ser entregada en mano de los Caldeos que pelean contra ella, á causa de la espada, y del hambre y de la pestilencia: ha pues venido á ser lo que tú dijiste, y he aquí tú lo estás viendo.
24 siehe, diese Stadt ist belagert, daß sie gewonnen und vor Schwert, Hunger und Pestilenz in der Chaldäer Hände, welche wider sie streiten, gegeben werden muß; und wie du geredet hast, so geht es, das siehest du,
25 And you have said to me, Give the money to get yourself a property, and have the business witnessed; though the town is given into the hands of the Chaldaeans.
25 Néanmoins, Seigneur Éternel, tu m'as dit: Achète un champ pour de l'argent, prends des témoins... Et la ville est livrée entre les mains des Chaldéens!
25 Ach dúirt tú féin liomsa, a Thiarna Dia: Ceannaigh an garraí ar airgead i láthair finnéithe; agus anois féin tá an chathair á tabhairt i láimh na gCaildéach.’
25 ¡Oh Señor Jehová! ¿y me has tú dicho: Cómprate la heredad por dinero, y pon testigos; bien que la ciudad sea entregada en manos de los Caldeos?
25 und du sprichst zu mir, HERR HERR: "Kaufe du einen Acker um Geld und nimm Zeugen dazu", so doch die Stadt in der Chaldäer Hände gegeben wird.
26 And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,
26 La parole de l'Éternel fut adressée à Jérémie, en ces mots:
26 Ansin tháinig briathar an Tiarna [chugamsa]:
26 Y fué palabra de Jehová á Jeremías, diciendo:
26 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu Jeremia und sprach:
27 See, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything so hard that I am unable to do it?
27 Voici, je suis l'Éternel, le Dieu de toute chair. Y a-t-il rien qui soit étonnant de ma part?
27 ‘Féach, is mise an Tiarna, Dia an uile dhuine: an bhfuil ní ar bith dodhéanta dom?’
27 He aquí que yo soy Jehová, Dios de toda carne; ¿encubriráseme á mí alguna cosa?
27 Siehe, ich, der HERR, bin ein Gott alles Fleisches; sollte mir etwas unmöglich sein?
28 So this is what the Lord has said: See, I am giving this town into the hands of the Chaldaeans and into the hands of Nebuchadrezzar, the king of Babylon, and he will take it:
28 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel: Voici, je livre cette ville entre les mains des Chaldéens, Et entre les mains de Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, Et il la prendra.
28 “Dá bhrí sin, is mar seo a deir an Tiarna: ‘Táim ag tabhairt na cathrach seo anois i láimh na gCaildéach, i láimh Nabúcadnazar rí na Bablóine, agus tógfaidh seisean í.
28 Por tanto así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí voy á entregar esta ciudad en mano de los Caldeos, y en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, y la tomará:
28 Darum spricht der HERR also: Siehe, ich gebe diese Stadt in der Chaldäer Hände und in die Hand Nebukadnezars, des Königs zu Babel; und er soll sie gewinnen.
29 And the Chaldaeans, who are fighting against this town, will come and put the town on fire, burning it together with the houses, on the roofs of which perfumes have been burned to the Baal, and drink offerings have been drained out to other gods, moving me to wrath.
29 Les Chaldéens qui attaquent cette ville vont entrer, Ils y mettront le feu, et ils la brûleront, Avec les maisons sur les toits desquelles on a offert de l'encens à Baal Et fait des libations à d'autres dieux, Afin de m'irriter.
29 Tiocfaidh na Caildéigh atá ag ionsaí na cathrach seo agus cuirfidh trí thine í; loiscfidh siad na tithe ar ofráladh ar a ndíonta túis do Bhál, mar ar doirteadh amach tabhartais dí do dhéithe eachtrannacha, do mo bhrostúsa chun feirge.
29 Y vendrán los Caldeos que combaten esta ciudad, y la pondrán á fuego, y la abrasarán, asimismo las casas sobre cuyas azoteas ofrecieron perfumes á Baal y derramaron libaciones á dioses ajenos, para provocarme á ira.
29 Und die Chaldäer, so wider diese Stadt streiten, werden hereinkommen und sie mit Feuer verbrennen samt den Häusern, wo sie auf den Dächern Baal geräuchert und andern Göttern Trankopfer geopfert haben, auf daß sie mich erzürnten.
30 For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have done nothing but evil in my eyes from their earliest years: the children of Israel have only made me angry with the work of their hands, says the Lord.
30 Car les enfants d'Israël et les enfants de Juda N'ont fait, dès leur jeunesse, que ce qui est mal à mes yeux; Les enfants d'Israël n'ont fait que m'irriter Par l'oeuvre de leurs mains, dit l'Éternel.
30 Óir is olc amháin a rinne clann Iosrael agus clann Iúdá i m'fhianaise óna n‑óige [óir bhrostaigh clann Iosrael go deimhin mé chun feirge lena ngníomhartha - is é an Tiarna a labhraíonn].
30 Porque los hijos de Israel y los hijos de Judá no han hecho sino lo malo delante de mis ojos desde su juventud: porque los hijos de Israel no han hecho más que provocarme á ira con la obra de sus manos, dice Jehová.
30 Denn die Kinder Israel und die Kinder Juda haben von ihrer Jugend auf getan, was mir übel gefällt; und die Kinder Israel haben mich erzürnt durch ihrer Hände Werk, spricht der HERR.
31 For this town has been to me a cause of wrath and of burning passion from the day of its building till this day, so that I put it away from before my face:
31 Car cette ville excite ma colère et ma fureur, Depuis le jour où l'a bâtie jusqu'à ce jour; Aussi je veux l'ôter de devant ma face,

31 Por manera que para enojo mío y para ira mía me ha sido esta ciudad, desde el día que la edificaron hasta hoy, para que la haga quitar de mi presencia;
31 Denn seitdem diese Stadt gebaut ist, bis auf diesen Tag, hat sie mich zornig gemacht, daß ich sie muß von meinem Angesicht wegtun
32 Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to make me angry, they and their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah and the people of Jerusalem.
32 A cause de tout le mal que les enfants d'Israël et les enfants de Juda Ont fait pour m'irriter, Eux, leurs rois, leurs chefs, leurs sacrificateurs et leurs prophètes, Les hommes de Juda et les habitants de Jérusalem.
32 mar gheall ar na hoilc uile a rinne clann Iosrael agus clann Iúdá do mo bhrostúsa, iad féin, a ríthe, a bprionsaí, a sagairt agus a bhfáithe, fir Iúdá agus cathróirí Iarúsailéim.
32 Por toda la maldad de los hijos de Israel y de los hijos de Judá, que han hecho para enojarme, ellos, sus reyes, sus príncipes, sus sacerdotes, y sus profetas, y los varones de Judá, y los moradores de Jerusalem.
32 um aller Bosheit willen der Kinder Israel und der Kinder Juda, die sie getan haben, daß sie mich erzürnten. Sie, ihre Könige, Fürsten, Priester und Propheten und die in Juda und Jerusalem wohnen,
33 And they have been turning their backs and not their faces to me: and though I was their teacher, getting up early and teaching them, their ears were not open to teaching.
33 Ils m'ont tourné le dos, ils ne m'ont pas regardé; On les a enseignés, on les a enseignés dès le matin; Mais ils n'ont pas écouté pour recevoir instruction.
33 D'iompaigh siad a gcúl liomsa agus ní hé a n‑aighthe; agus tar éis dom iad a theagasc go moch agus go déanach ní éistfidís ná ní raibh aird acu ar a gceacht.
33 Y volviéronme la cerviz, y no el rostro: y cuando los enseñaba, enseñaba, fbamadrugando y enseñando, no escucharon para recibir corrección:
33 haben mir den Rücken und nicht das Angesicht zugekehrt, wiewohl ich sie stets lehren ließ; aber sie wollten nicht hören noch sich bessern.
34 But they put their disgusting images into the house which is named by my name, making it unclean.

35 And they put up the high places of the Baal in the valley of the son of Hinnom, making their sons and their daughters go through the fire to Molech; which I did not give them orders to do, and it never came into my mind that they would do this disgusting thing, causing Judah to be turned out of the way.
35 Ils ont bâti des hauts lieux à Baal dans la vallée de Ben Hinnom, Pour faire passer à Moloc leurs fils et leurs filles: Ce que je ne leur avais point ordonné; Et il me n'était point venu à la pensée Qu'ils commettraient de telles horreurs Pour faire pécher Juda.
35 Thóg siad áiteanna arda Bhál i nGleann Bhein Hionnom mar a dtugann siad ar a gclann mhac agus ar a n‑iníonacha dul tríd an tine do Mhoilic - rud nár ordaigh mise riamh, ní mó a tháinig i m'intinn go ndéanfaidís coireanna gránna mar iad - a thabhairt ar Iúdá peacú.’
35 Y edificaron altares á Baal, los cuales están en el valle del hijo de Hinnom, para hacer pasar por el fuego sus hijos y sus hijas á Moloch, lo cual no les mandé, ni me vino al pensamiento que hiciesen esta abominación, para hacer pecar á Judá.
35 und haben die Höhen des Baal gebaut im Tal Ben-Hinnom, daß sie ihre Söhne und Töchter dem Moloch verbrennten, davon ich ihnen nichts befohlen habe und ist mir nie in den Sinn gekommen, daß sie solche Greuel tun sollten, damit sie Juda also zu Sünden brächten.
36 And now the Lord, the God of Israel, has said of this town, about which you say, It is given into the hands of the king of Babylon by the sword and by need of food and by disease:
36 Et maintenant, ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, Sur cette ville dont vous dites: Elle sera livrée entre les mains du roi de Babylone, Vaincue par l'épée, par la famine et par la peste:
36 “Ach anois, agus ar an ábhar céanna sin, is mar seo a deir an Tiarna, Dia Iosrael, i dtaobh na cathrach seo faoina n‑abrann tusa go dtabharfaidh an claíomh, an gorta, agus an phlá i láimh rí na Bablóine í:
36 Y con todo, ahora así dice Jehová Dios de Israel, á esta ciudad, de la cual decís vosotros, Entregada será en mano del rey de Babilonia á cuchillo, á hambre, y á pestilencia:
36 Und nun um deswillen spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels, also von dieser Stadt, davon ihr sagt, daß sie werde vor Schwert, Hunger und Pestilenz in die Hände des Königs zu Babel gegeben:
37 See, I will get them together from all the countries where I have sent them in my wrath and in the heat of my passion and in my bitter feeling; and I will let them come back into this place where they may take their rest safely.
37 Voici, je les rassemblerai de tous les pays où je les ai chassés, Dans ma colère, dans ma fureur, et dans ma grande irritation; Je les ramènerai dans ce lieu, Et je les y ferai habiter en sûreté.
37 Cruinneoidh mise iad as na tíortha uile inar dhíbir mé iad i m'fhearg, i m'fhraoch agus i mo chuthach mór. Tabharfaidh mé ar ais don áit seo iad agus tabharfaidh mé orthu cónaí go sábháilte.
37 He aquí que yo los juntaré de todas las tierras á las cuales los eché con mi furor, y con mi enojo y saña grande; y los haré tornar á este lugar, y harélos habitar seguramente,
37 Siehe, ich will sie sammeln aus allen Landen, dahin ich sie verstoße durch meinen Zorn, Grimm und große Ungnade, und will sie wiederum an diesen Ort bringen, daß sie sollen sicher wohnen.
38 And they will be my people, and I will be their God:

39 And I will give them one heart and one way, so that they may go on in the worship of me for ever, for their good and the good of their children after them:
39 Je leur donnerai un même coeur et une même voie, Afin qu'ils me craignent toujours, Pour leur bonheur et celui de leurs enfants après eux.
39 Tabharfaidh mé malairt chroí dóibh agus malairt iompair, le go mbeidh mo eaglasa orthu go brách, ar mhaithe leo féin agus lena gclann ina ndiaidh.
39 Y daréles un corazón, y un camino, para que me teman perpetuamente, para que hayan bien ellos, y sus hijos después de ellos.
39 und ich will ihnen einerlei Herz und Wesen geben, daß sie mich fürchten sollen ihr Leben lang, auf daß es ihnen und ihren Kindern nach ihnen wohl gehe;
40 And I will make an eternal agreement with them, that I will never give them up, but ever do them good; and I will put the fear of me in their hearts, so that they will not go away from me.
40 Je traiterai avec eux une alliance éternelle, Je ne me détournerai plus d'eux, Je leur ferai du bien, Et je mettrai ma crainte dans leur coeur, Afin qu'ils ne s'éloignent pas de moi.
40 Déanfaidh mé conradh síoraí leo; ní éireoidh mé as déanamh maitheasa dóibh, agus cuirfidh mé m'urraim ina gcroí, ionas nach ndealóidh siad arís uaim.
40 Y haré con ellos pacto eterno, que no tornaré atrás de hacerles bien, y pondré mi temor en el corazón de ellos, para que no se aparten de mí.
40 und will einen ewigen Bund mit ihnen machen, daß ich nicht will ablassen, ihnen Gutes zu tun; und will ihnen meine Furcht ins Herz geben, daß sie nicht von mir weichen;
41 And truly, I will take pleasure in doing them good, and all my heart and soul will be given to planting them in this land in good faith.
41 Je prendrai plaisir à leur faire du bien, Et je les planterai véritablement dans ce pays, De tout mon coeur et de toute mon âme.
41 Gairdeoidh mé mar gheall ar mhaitheas a dhéanamh dóibh, agus plandóidh mé le barr dílse iad sa dúiche seo, le mo chroí agus le m'anam go hiomlán.’
41 Y alegraréme con ellos haciéndoles bien, y los plantaré en esta tierra en verdad, de todo mi corazón y de toda mi alma.
41 und soll meine Lust sein, daß ich ihnen Gutes tue; und ich will sie in diesem Lande pflanzen treulich, von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer Seele.
42 For the Lord has said: As I have made all this great evil come on this people, so I will send on them all the good which I said about them.
42 Car ainsi parle l'Éternel: De même que j'ai fait venir sur ce peuple tous ces grands malheurs, De même je ferai venir sur eux tout le bien que je leur promets.
42 Óir is mar seo a deir an Tiarna: ‘Faoi mar a thug mé an t‑olc mór seo ar an bpobal seo, is mar sin a tabharfaidh mé orthu an uile mhaith dá ngeallaim dóibh.
42 Porque así ha dicho Jehová: Como traje sobre este pueblo todo este grande mal, así traeré sobre ellos todo el bien que acerca de ellos hablo.
42 Denn so spricht der HERR: Gleichwie ich über dies Volk habe kommen lassen all dies große Unglück, also will ich auch alles Gute über sie kommen lassen, das ich ihnen verheißen habe.
43 And there will be trading in fields in this land of which you say, It is a waste, without man or beast; it is given into the hands of the Chaldaeans.
43 On achètera des champs dans ce pays Dont vous dites: C'est un désert, sans hommes ni bêtes, Il est livré entre les mains des Chaldéens.
43 Ceannófar tailte fós sa tír seo faoina n‑abrann tusa: Is talamh bánaithe í gan duine ná beithíoch; tugadh i láimh na gCaildéach í.
43 Y poseerán heredad en esta tierra de la cual vosotros decís: Está desierta, sin hombres y sin animales; es entregada en manos de los Caldeos.
43 Und sollen noch Äcker gekauft werden in diesem Lande, davon ihr sagt, es werde wüst liegen, daß weder Leute noch Vieh darin bleiben, und es werde in der Chaldäer Hände gegeben.
44 Men will get fields for money, and put the business in writing, stamping the papers and having them witnessed, in the land of Benjamin and in the country round Jerusalem and in the towns of Judah and in the towns of the hill-country and in the towns of the lowland and in the towns of the South: for I will let their fate be changed, says the Lord.
44 On achètera des champs pour de l'argent, On écrira des contrats, on les cachètera, on prendra des témoins, Dans le pays de Benjamin et aux environs de Jérusalem, Dans les villes de Juda, dans les villes de la montagne, Dans les villes de la plaine et dans les villes du midi; Car je ramènerai leurs captifs, dit l'Éternel.
