1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, when King Zedekiah sent to him Pashhur, the son of Malchiah, and Zephaniah, the son of Maaseiah the priest, saying,
1 La parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de l'Éternel, lorsque le roi Sédécias lui envoya Paschhur, fils de Malkija, et Sophonie, fils de Maaséja, le sacrificateur, pour lui dire:
1 An briathar a tháinig chun Irimia ón Tiarna nuair a chuir an rí Zidicíá chuige Paischiúr mac Mhailcíá in éineacht leis an sagart Zafainiá mac Mhásaeiá, á rá:
1 PALABRA que fué á Jeremías de Jehová, cuando el rey Sedechîas envió á él á Pashur hijo de Malchîas, y á Sephanías sacerdote, hijo de Maasías, que le dijesen:
1 Dies ist das Wort, so vom HERRN geschah zu Jeremia, da der König Zedekia zu ihm sandte Pashur, den Sohn Malchias, und Zephanja, den Sohn Maasejas, den Priester, und ließ ihm sagen:
2 Will you get directions from the Lord for us; for Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, is making war against us; it may be that the Lord will do something for us like all the wonders he has done, and make him go away from us.
2 Consulte pour nous l'Éternel; car Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, nous fait la guerre; peut-être l'Éternel fera-t-il en notre faveur quelqu'un de ses miracles, afin qu'il s'éloigne de nous.
2 “Iarraimid d'achainí ort fiafraí den Tiarna ar ár son ó tharla Nabúcadnazar ag déanamh cogaidh orainn; b'fhéidir go n‑oibreodh an Tiarna a mhíorúiltí uile ar ár son agus go dtabharfadh sé ar an namhaid imeacht uainn.”
2 Pregunta ahora por nosotros á Jehová; porque Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia hace guerra contra nosotros: quizá Jehová hará con nosotros según todas sus maravillas, y aquél se irá de sobre nosotros.
2 Frage doch den HERRN für uns. Denn Nebukadnezar, der König zu Babel, streitet wider uns; daß der HERR doch mit uns tun wolle nach allen seinen Wundern, damit er von uns abzöge.
3 Then Jeremiah said to them, This is what you are to say to Zedekiah:
3 Jérémie leur répondit: Vous direz à Sédécias:

3 Y Jeremías les dijo: Diréis así á Sedechîas:
3 Jeremia sprach zu ihnen: So saget Zedekia:
4 The Lord God of Israel has said, See, I am turning back the instruments of war in your hands, with which you are fighting against the king of Babylon and the Chaldaeans, who are outside the walls and shutting you in; and I will get them together inside this town.
4 Ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël: Voici, je vais détourner les armes de guerre qui sont dans vos mains, et avec lesquelles vous combattez en dehors des murailles le roi de Babylone et les Chaldéens qui vous assiègent, et je les rassemblerai au milieu de cette ville.
4 ‘Is mar seo a deir an Tiarna, Dia Iosrael: Tógfaidh mé ar ais na hairm chogaidh atá in bhur lámha anois, lena dtroideann sibh in aghaidh rí na Bablóine agus na gCaildéach a shuíonn mórthimpeall oraibh anois taobh amuigh de na ballaí; déanfaidh mé carn díobh i lár na cathrach seo.
4 Así ha dicho Jehová Dios de Israel: He aquí yo vuelvo las armas de guerra que están en vuestras manos, y con que vosotros peleáis con el rey de Babilonia; y los Caldeos que os tienen cercados fuera de la muralla, yo los juntaré en medio de esta ciudad.
4 Das spricht der Herr, der Gott Israels: Siehe, ich will die Waffen zurückwenden, die ihr in euren Händen habt, womit ihr streitet wider den König zu Babel und wider die Chaldäer, welche euch draußen an der Mauer belagert haben; und will sie zuhauf sammeln mitten in dieser Stadt.
5 And I myself will be fighting against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even with angry feeling and passion and in great wrath.
5 Puis je combattrai contre vous, la main étendue et le bras fort, avec colère, avec fureur, avec une grande irritation.
5 Agus troidfidh mé féin in bhur n‑aghaidh le láimh sínte amach agus le rí láidir, i bhfearg, i mbuile agus i ndíbheirg mhór.
5 Y pelearé contra vosotros con mano alzada y con brazo fuerte, y con furor, y enojo, é ira grande:
5 Und ich will wider euch streiten mit ausgereckter Hand, mit starkem Arm, mit Zorn, Grimm und großer Ungnade.
6 And I will send a great disease on the people living in this town, on man and on beast, causing their death.
6 Je frapperai les habitants de cette ville, les hommes et les bêtes; ils mourront d'une peste affreuse.
6 Buailfidh mé muintir na cathrach seo, idir dhuine agus bheithíoch, le plá scanrúil: gheobhaidh siad bás.
6 Y heriré los moradores de esta ciudad; y los hombres y las bestias morirán de pestilencia grande.
6 Und ich will die Bürger dieser Stadt schlagen, die Menschen und das Vieh, daß sie sterben sollen durch eine große Pestilenz.
7 And after that, says the Lord, I will give up Zedekiah, king of Judah, and his servants and his people, even those in the town who have not come to their end from the disease and the sword and from need of food, into the hands of Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, and into the hands of their haters, and into the hands of those desiring their death: he will put them to the sword; he will not let anyone get away, he will have no pity or mercy.
7 Après cela, dit l'Éternel, je livrerai Sédécias, roi de Juda, ses serviteurs, le peuple, et ceux qui dans cette ville échapperont à la peste, à l'épée et à la famine, je les livrerai entre les mains de Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, entre les mains de leurs ennemis, entre les mains de ceux qui en veulent à leur vie; et Nebucadnetsar les frappera du tranchant de l'épée, il ne les épargnera pas, il n'aura point de pitié, point de compassion.
7 Ina dhiaidh sin - an Tiarna a labhraíonn - tabharfaidh mé Zidicíá, rí Iúdá, lena sheirbhísigh agus an méid de mhuintir na cathrach seo a fágadh ón bplá, ón gclaíomh nó ón ngorta, i láimh a namhad agus i láimh na ndaoine a iarrann a mbás; buailfidh sé iad le faobhar an chlaímh, ní choigleoidh sé iad, ní mó a bheidh trua ná trócaire aige dóibh.’
7 Y después, así dice Jehová, entregaré á Sedechîas rey de Judá, y á sus criados, y al pueblo, y á los que quedaren en la ciudad de la pestilencia, y del cuchillo, y del hambre, en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, y en mano de sus enemigos, y en mano de los que buscan sus almas; y él los herirá á filo de espada; no los perdonará, ni los recibirá á merced, ni tendrá de ellos misericordia.
7 Und darnach, spricht der HERR, will ich Zedekia, den König Juda's, samt seinen Knechten und dem Volk, das in dieser Stadt vor der Pestilenz, vor Schwert und Hunger übrigbleiben wird, geben in die Hände Nebukadnezars, des Königs zu Babel, und in die Hände ihrer Feinde, und in die Hände derer, die ihnen nach dem Leben stehen, daß er sie mit der Schärfe des Schwerts also schlage, daß kein Schonen noch Gnade noch Barmherzigkeit da sei.
8 And to this people you are to say, The Lord has said, See, I put before you the way of life and the way of death.
8 Tu diras à ce peuple: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Voici, je mets devant vous le chemin de la vie et le chemin de la mort.
8 “Agus déarfaidh tú leis an bpobal seo: ‘Is mar seo a deir an Tiarna: Cuirim romhaibh anois slí na beatha agus slí an bháis.
8 Y á este pueblo dirás: Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí pongo delante de vosotros camino de vida y camino de muerte.
8 Und sage diesem Volk: So spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich lege euch vor den Weg zum Leben und den Weg zum Tode.
9 He who keeps in this town will come to his death by the sword and through need of food and through disease; but he who goes out and gives himself up to the Chaldaeans who are shutting you in, will go on living, and will keep his life safe.
9 Celui qui restera dans cette ville mourra par l'épée, par la famine ou par la peste; mais celui qui sortira pour se rendre aux Chaldéens qui vous assiègent aura la vie sauve, et sa vie sera son butin.
9 An té an fhanfaidh sa chathair seo éagfaidh sé leis an gclaíomh, leis an ngorta nó leis an bplá; ach mairfidh an té a rachaidh amach agus a ghéillfidh do na Caildéigh atá anois ag cur léigir ar an gcathair; beidh a bheatha aige sin mar éadáil.
9 El que se quedare en esta ciudad, morirá á cuchillo, ó de hambre, ó pestilencia: mas el que saliere, y se pasare á los Caldeos que os tienen cercados, vivirá, y su vida le será por despojo.
9 Wer in dieser Stadt bleibt, der wird sterben müssen durch Schwert, Hunger und Pestilenz; wer aber sich hinausbegibt zu den Chaldäern, die euch belagern, der soll lebendig bleiben und soll sein Leben als eine Ausbeute behalten.
10 For my face is turned to this town for evil and not for good, says the Lord: it will be given into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he will have it burned with fire.
10 Car je dirige mes regards contre cette ville pour faire du mal et non du bien, dit l'Éternel; elle sera livrée entre les mains du roi de Babylone, qui la brûlera par le feu.
10 Óir tá m'aghaidhse curtha in éadan na cathrach seo chun oilc agus ní chun maitheasa - an Tiarna a labhraíonn. Tabharfar i láimh rí na Bablóine í, agus dófaidh sé go talamh í.’ ” Aitheasc do Rítheaghlach Iúdá
10 Porque mi rostro he puesto contra esta ciudad para mal, y no para bien, dice Jehová: en mano del rey de Babilonia será entregada, y quemarála á fuego.
10 Denn ich habe mein Angesicht über diese Stadt gerichtet zum Unglück und zu keinem Guten, spricht der HERR. Sie soll dem König zu Babel übergeben werden, daß er sie mit Feuer verbrenne.
11 About the family of the king of Judah. Give ear to the word of the Lord;
11 Et tu diras à la maison du roi de Juda: Écoutez la parole de l'Éternel!
11 “Le rítheaghlach Iúdá. Éistigí le briathar an Tiarna,
11 Y á la casa del rey de Judá dirás: Oid palabra de Jehová.
11 Und höret des HERRN Wort, ihr vom Hause des Königs in Juda!
12 O family of David, this is what the Lord has said: Do what is right in the morning, and make free from the hands of the cruel one him whose goods have been violently taken away, or my wrath will go out like fire, burning so that no one may put it out, because of the evil of your doings.
12 Maison de David! Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Rendez la justice dès le matin, Et délivrez l'opprimé des mains de l'oppresseur, De peur que ma colère n'éclate comme un feu, Et ne s'enflamme, sans qu'on puisse l'éteindre, A cause de la méchanceté de vos actions.
12 rí theaghlaigh Dháiví! Is mar seo a deir an Tiarna: ‘Gach maidin tabhair breith cheart, tarrthaigh an té a ndearnadh éigeart air as láimh fhear a ansmachta, nó léimfidh m'fhearg amach ar nós tine, loscfaidh sí agus ní bheidh fear a múchta le fáil.
12 Casa de David, así dijo Jehová: Juzgad de mañana juicio, y librad al oprimido de mano del opresor; porque mi ira no salga como fuego, y se encienda, y no haya quien apague, por la maldad de vuestras obras.
12 Du Haus David, so spricht der Herr: Haltet des Morgens Gericht und errettet die Beraubten aus des Frevlers Hand, auf daß mein Grimm nicht ausfahre wie ein Feuer und brenne also, das niemand löschen könne, um eures bösen Wesens willen.
13 See, I am against you, you who are living on the rock of the valley, says the Lord; you who say, Who will come down against us? or who will get into our houses?
13 Voici, j'en veux à toi, Ville assise dans la vallée, sur le rocher de la plaine, Dit l'Éternel, A vous qui dites: Qui descendra contre nous? Qui entrera dans nos demeures?
13 Is libhse a dhéanaim achrann, libhse a d'imigh chun cónaithe ag Carraig an Réitigh - an Tiarna a labhraíonn - libhse a deir: Cé bhéarfadh fogha fúinne agus a dhéanfadh a bhealach isteach inár ndaingean?
13 He aquí yo contra ti, moradora del valle de la piedra de la llanura, dice Jehová: los que decís: ¿Quién subirá contra nosotros? ¿y quién entrará en nuestras moradas?
13 Siehe, spricht der HERR, ich will an dich, die du wohnst im Grunde, auf dem Felsen der Ebene und sprichst: Wer will uns überfallen oder in unsre Feste kommen?
14 I will send punishment on you in keeping with the fruit of your doings, says the Lord: and I will put a fire in her woodlands, burning up everything round about her.
14 Je vous châtierai selon le fruit de vos oeuvres, dit l'Éternel; Je mettrai le feu à votre forêt, Et il en dévorera tous les alentours.
