1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,

1 Dies ist das Wort, das zu Jeremia geschah vom HERRN, und sprach:
2 Give ear to the words of this agreement, and say to the men of Judah and to the people of Jerusalem,
2 Écoutez les paroles de cette alliance, Et parlez aux hommes de Juda et aux habitants de Jérusalem!
2 “Labhair le fir Iúdá agus le háitritheoirí Iarúsailéim.
2 Oid las palabras de este pacto, y hablad á todo varón de Judá, y á todo morador de Jerusalem.
2 Höret die Worte dieses Bundes, daß ihr sie denen in Juda und den Bürgern zu Jerusalem saget.
3 The Lord, the God of Israel, has said, Let that man be cursed who does not give ear to the words of this agreement,
3 Dis-leur: Ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël: Maudit soit l'homme qui n'écoute point les paroles de cette alliance,
3 Abair leo: Is mar seo a deir an Tiarna Dia Iosrael: Gura mallaithe an té nach n‑éisteann briathra an chonartha seo
3 Y les dirás tú: Así dijo Jehová Dios de Israel: Maldito el varón que no obedeciere las palabras de este pacto,
3 Und sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Verflucht sei, wer nicht gehorcht den Worten dieses Bundes,
4 To the order which I gave your fathers on the day when I took them out of the land of Egypt, out of the oven of iron, saying, Give ear to my voice, and do all the orders I have given you: so you will be my people, and I will be your God:
4 Que j'ai prescrite à vos pères, Le jour où je les ai fait sortir du pays d'Égypte, De la fournaise de fer, en disant: Écoutez ma voix, et faites tout ce que je vous ordonnerai; Alors vous serez mon peuple, Je serai votre Dieu,
4 a d'ordaigh mé do bhur n‑aithreacha nuair a thug mé ón bhfoirnéis iarainn iad, as críoch na hÉigipte. Umhlaígí do mo ghlóir, dúirt mise leo, déanaigí an uile ní a ordóidh mise daoibh, is ansin a bheidh sibhse in bhur bpobal agamsa agus beidh mise i mo Dhia agaibh,
4 El cual mandé á vuestros padres el día que los saqué de la tierra de Egipto, del horno de hierro, diciéndoles: Oid mi voz, y ejecutad aquéllas, conforme á todo lo que os mando, y me seréis por pueblo, y yo seré á vosotros por Dios;
4 den ich euren Vätern gebot des Tages, da ich sie aus Ägyptenland führte, aus einem eisernen Ofen, und sprach: Gehorchet meiner Stimme und tut, wie ich euch geboten habe, so sollt ihr mein Volk sein, und ich will euer Gott sein,
5 So that I may give effect to the oath which I made to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey as at this day. And I said in answer, So be it, O Lord.
5 Et j'accomplirai le serment que j'ai fait à vos pères, De leur donner un pays où coulent le lait et le miel, Comme vous le voyez aujourd'hui. -Et je répondis: Amen, Éternel!
5 le go gcomhlíonfar an mionn a thug mé do bhur n‑aithreacha, fearann a thabhairt dóibh le mil agus le bainne ina slaoda - mar atá sé inniu.” D'freagair mise: “Déanfaidh mé sin, a Thiarna.”
5 Para que confirme el juramento que hice á vuestros padres, que les daría la tierra que corre leche y miel, como este día. Y respondí, y dije: Amén, oh Jehová.
5 auf daß ich den Eid halten möge, den ich euren Vätern geschworen habe, ihnen zu geben ein Land, darin Milch und Honig fließt, wie es denn heutigestages steht. Ich antwortete und sprach: HERR, ja, es sei also!
6 And the Lord said to me, Give out these words in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Give ear to the words of this agreement and do them.
6 L'Éternel me dit: Publie toutes ces paroles dans les villes de Juda Et dans les rues de Jérusalem, en disant: Écoutez les paroles de cette alliance, Et mettez-les en pratique!
6 Ansin dúirt an Tiarna liomsa: “Fógair é seo uile i mbailte Iúdá agus i sráideanna Iarúsailéim: Éistigí briathra an chonartha seo agus déanaigí iad.
6 Y Jehová me dijo: Pregona todas estas palabras en las ciudades de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalem, diciendo: Oid las palabras de este pacto, y ponedlas por obra.
6 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Predige alle diese Worte in den Städten Juda's und auf allen Gassen zu Jerusalem und sprich: Höret die Worte dieses Bundes und tut darnach!
7 For I gave certain witness to your fathers on the day when I took them up out of the land of Egypt, and even to this day, getting up early and witnessing and saying, Give ear to my voice.
7 Car j'ai averti vos pères, Depuis le jour où je les ai fait monter du pays d'Égypte Jusqu'à ce jour, Je les ai avertis tous les matins, en disant: Écoutez ma voix!
7 Mar an lá a thug mé bhur n‑aithreacha aníos as críoch na hÉigipte, thug mise rabhadh dóibh go dúthrachtach, agus níor scoir mé den rabhadh go dtí inniu: Umhlaigí dom ghlóir.
7 Porque con eficacia protesté a vuestros padres el día que los hice subir de la tierra de Egipto hasta el día de hoy, madrugando y protestando, diciendo: Oid mi voz.
7 Denn ich habe euren Vätern gezeugt von dem Tage an, da ich sie aus Ägyptenland führte, bis auf den heutigen Tag und zeugte stets und sprach: Gehorchet meiner Stimme!
8 But they gave no attention and did not give ear, but they went on, every man in the pride of his evil heart: so I sent on them all the curses in this agreement, which I gave them orders to keep, but they did not.
8 Mais ils n'ont pas écouté, ils n'ont pas prêté l'oreille, Ils ont suivi chacun les penchants de leur mauvais coeur; Alors j'ai accompli sur eux toutes les paroles de cette alliance, Que je leur avais ordonné d'observer et qu'ils n'ont point observée.
8 Ach níor umhlaigh siad, níor thug dom cluas; shiúil gach aon díobh i gcomhairle a dhrochchroí féin. Ar an ábhar sin chomhlíon mé ina gcoinne briathra uile an chonartha seo a d'ordaigh mé dóibh a dhéanamh, ach nach ndearna siad.”
8 Mas no oyeron, ni inclinaron su oído, antes se fueron cada uno tras la imaginación de su corazón malvado: por tanto, traeré sobre ellos todas las palabras de este pacto, el cual mandé que cumpliesen, y no lo cumplieron.
8 Aber sie gehorchten nicht, neigten auch ihre Ohren nicht; sondern ein jeglicher ging nach seines bösen Herzens Gedünken. Darum habe ich auch über sie kommen lassen alle Worte dieses Bundes, den ich geboten habe zu tun, und nach dem sie doch nicht getan haben.
9 And the Lord said to me, There is an evil design at work among the men of Judah and the people of Jerusalem.
9 L'Éternel me dit: Il y a une conjuration entre les hommes de Juda Et les habitants de Jérusalem.
9 Dúirt an Tiarna liomsa: “Is follas go bhfuil feall i measc fir Iúdá agus i measc áitritheoirí Iarúsailéim.
9 Y díjome Jehová: Conjuración se ha hallado en los varones de Judá, y en los moradores de Jerusalem.
9 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Ich weiß wohl, wie sie in Juda und zu Jerusalem sich rotten.
10 They are turned back to the sins of their fathers, who would not give ear to my words; they have gone after other gods and become their servants: the people of Israel and the people of Judah have not kept the agreement which I made with their fathers.
10 Ils sont retournés aux iniquités de leurs premiers pères, Qui ont refusé d'écouter mes paroles, Et ils sont allés après d'autres dieux, pour les servir. La maison d'Israël et la maison de Juda ont violé mon alliance, Que j'avais faite avec leurs pères.
10 Tá siad iompaithe ar ais ar chionta a n‑aithreacha rompu, a dhiúltaigh mo bhriathra a éisteacht; tá siad seo freisin ag dul i ndiaidh déithe eile agus ag fónamh dóibh. Tá an conradh a rinne mé lena n‑aithreacha briste ag teach Iosrael agus ag teach Iúdá.
10 Hanse vuelto á las maldades de sus primeros padres, los cuales no quisieron escuchar mis palabras, antes se fueron tras dioses ajenos para servirles; la casa de Israel y la casa de Judá invalidaron mi pacto, el cual había yo concertado con sus padres.
10 Sie kehren sich eben zu den Sünden ihrer Väter, die vormals waren, welche auch nicht gehorchen wollten meinen Worten und folgten auch andern Göttern nach und dienten ihnen. Also hat das Haus Israel und das Haus Juda meinen Bund gebrochen, den ich mit ihren Vätern gemacht habe.
11 So the Lord has said, I will send evil on them, which they will not be able to get away from; and they will send up a cry for help to me, but I will not give ear to them.
11 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel: Voici, je vais faire venir sur eux des malheurs Dont ils ne pourront se délivrer. Ils crieront vers moi, Et je ne les écouterai pas.
11 Ar an ábhar sin - is mar seo a deir an Tiarna - tabharfaidh mé olc anois orthu nach mbeidh aon dul as acu; má ghlaonn siad orm ní éistfidh mé leo.
11 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo traigo sobre ellos mal del que no podrán salir; y clamarán á mi, y no los oiré.
11 Darum siehe, spricht der HERR, ich will ein Unglück über sie gehen lassen, dem sie nicht sollen entgehen können; und wenn sie zu mir Schreien, will ich sie nicht hören.
12 Then the towns of Judah and the people of Jerusalem will go crying for help to the gods to whom they have been burning perfumes: but they will give them no salvation in the time of their trouble.
12 Les villes de Juda et les habitants de Jérusalem Iront invoquer les dieux auxquels ils offrent de l'encens, Mais ils ne les sauveront pas au temps de leur malheur.
12 Imíodh bailte Iúdá agus áitritheoirí Iarúsailéim agus éimhidís ar na déithe dá loscann siad túis, ach ní cabhair iad siúd in aon chor dóibh in am a n‑anó.
12 E irán las ciudades de Judá y los moradores de Jerusalem, y clamarán á los dioses á quienes queman ellos inciensos, los cuales no los podrán salvar en el tiempo de su mal.
12 So laß denn die Städte Juda's und die Bürger zu Jerusalem hingehen und zu ihren Göttern schreien, denen sie geräuchert haben; aber sie werden ihnen nicht helfen in ihrer Not.
13 For the number of your gods is as the number of your towns, O Judah; and for every street in Jerusalem you have put up altars to the Baal for burning perfumes to the Baal.
13 Car tu as autant de dieux que de villes, ô Juda! Et autant Jérusalem a de rues, Autant vous avez dressé d'autels aux idoles, D'autels pour offrir de l'encens à Baal...
13 Óir ní lia bailte agat, a Iúdá, ná déithe, ní lia sráideanna ag Iarúsailéim ná altóirí túis ag Bál.
13 Porque según el número de tus ciudades fueron tus dioses, oh Judá; y según el número de tus calles, oh Jerusalem, pusisteis los altares de ignominia, altares para ofrecer sahumerios á Baal.
13 Denn so manche Stadt, so manche Götter hast du, Juda; und so manche Gassen zu Jerusalem sind, so manchen Schandaltar habt ihr aufgerichtet, dem Baal zu räuchern.
14 And as for you, make no prayers for this people, send up no cry or prayer for them: for I will not give ear to their cry in the time of their trouble.
14 Et toi, n'intercède pas en faveur de ce peuple, N'élève pour eux ni supplications ni prières; Car je ne les écouterai pas, Quand ils m'invoqueront à cause de leur malheur.
14 “Agus thusa, ná guighse ar son na ndaoine seo, ná tóg achainí ná urnaí ar a son; mar ní éistfidh mé leat in am a n‑anó.
14 Tú pues, no ores por este pueblo, ni levantes por ellos clamor ni oración; porque yo no oiré el día que en su aflicción á mí clamaren.
14 So bitte du nun nicht für dieses Volk und tue kein Flehen noch Gebet für sie; denn ich will sie nicht hören, wenn sie zu mir schreien in ihrer Not.
15 About Judah. What have you to do in my house? is it your thought that oaths and holy flesh will get you out of your trouble? will you make yourself safe in this way?
15 Que ferait mon bien-aimé dans ma maison? Il s'y commet une foule de crimes. La chair sacrée disparaîtra devant toi. Quand tu fais le mal, c'est alors que tu triomphes!
15 Céard tá á dhéanamh ag mo ghrá i mo theachsa? Tá cur i gcéill ar siúl aici! An bhféadann móideanna agus feoil choisricthe do chiontacht a chur díot? An é go ndéanfaidh mise glan thú dá bharr?
15 ¿Qué tiene mi amado en mi casa, habiendo hecho abominaciones muchas? Y las carnes santas pasarán de sobre tí, porque en tu maldad te gloriaste.
15 Was haben meine Freunde in meinem Haus zu schaffen? Sie treiben alle Schalkheit und meinen, das heilige Fleisch soll es von ihnen nehmen; und wenn sie übeltun, sind sie guter Dinge darüber.
16 You had been named by the Lord, A branching olive-tree, fair with beautiful fruit: with the noise of a great rushing he has put it on fire and its branches are broken.
16 Olivier verdoyant, remarquable par la beauté de son fruit, Tel est le nom que t'avait donné l'Éternel; Au bruit d'un grand fracas, il l'embrase par le feu, Et ses rameaux sont brisés.
16 Crann ola breá géagach, daingean, a thug an Tiarna d'ainm ort. Faoi ghreadadh gaoithe móire cuireann sé tine lena dhuilliúr; tá a chraobhacha ar lasadh.
16 Oliva verde, hermosa en fruto y en parecer, llamó Jehová tu nombre. A la voz de gran palabra hizo encender fuego sobre ella, y quebraron sus ramas.
16 Der HERR nannte dich einen grünen, schönen, fruchtbaren Ölbaum; aber nun hat er mit einem Mordgeschrei ein Feuer um ihn lassen anzünden, daß seine Äste verderben müssen.
17 For the Lord of armies, by whom you were planted, has given his decision for evil against you, because of the evil which the people of Israel and the people of Judah have done, In moving me to wrath by offering perfumes to the Baal.
17 L'Éternel des armées, qui t'a planté, Appelle sur toi le malheur, A cause de la méchanceté de la maison d'Israël et de la maison de Juda, Qui ont agi pour m'irriter, en offrant de l'encens à Baal.
17 “Agus d'fhógair Tiarna na Slua, a chuir i dtalamh thusa, olc i d'aghaidh mar gheall ar choir theach Iosrael agus theach Iúdá do mo ghríosú chun feirge, as túis a loscadh do Bhál.” Géarleanúint ar Irimia ina Bhaile Dúchais
17 Pues Jehová de los ejércitos, que te plantó, ha pronunciado mal contra ti, á causa de la maldad de la casa de Israel y de la casa de Judá, que hicieron á sí mismos, provocándome á ira con incensar á Baal.
17 Denn der HERR Zebaoth, der dich gepflanzt hat, hat dir ein Unglück gedroht um der Bosheit willen des Hauses Israel und des Hauses Juda, welche sie treiben, daß sie mich erzürnen mit ihrem Räuchern, das sie dem Baal tun.
18 And the Lord gave me knowledge of it and I saw it: then you made clear to me their doings.
18 L'Éternel m'en a informé, et je l'ai su; Alors tu m'as fait voir leurs oeuvres.
18 D'fhoilsigh an Tiarna domsa é; cuireadh fainic orm. A Thiarna is í sin an uair ar chuir tú a gcomhcheilg ar mo shúile dom.
18 Y Jehová me lo hizo saber, y conocílo: entonces me hiciste ver sus obras.
18 Der HERR hat mir's offenbart, daß ich's weiß, und zeigte mir ihr Vornehmen,
19 But I was like a gentle lamb taken to be put to death; I had no thought that they were designing evil against me, saying, Come and let us make trouble his food, cutting him off from the land of the living, so that there may be no more memory of his name.
19 J'étais comme un agneau familier qu'on mène à la boucherie, Et j'ignorais les mauvais desseins qu'ils méditaient contre moi: Détruisons l'arbre avec son fruit! Retranchons-le de la terre des vivants, Et qu'on ne se souvienne plus de son nom! -
1911 Ach bhí mise mar a bheadh uan mín ann a sheoltar chun a mharaithe, agus mé ar neamheolas na ceilge a bhí á cumadh acu i m'aghaidh, á rá: “Scriosaimis an crann lena thorthaí, gearraimis amach é as tír na mbeo, ionas nach mbeidh cuimhne ar a ainm go deo.”
19 Y yo como cordero inocente que llevan á degollar, pues no entendía que maquinaban contra mí designios, diciendo: Destruyamos el árbol con su fruto, y cortémoslo de la tierra de los vivientes, y no haya más memoria de su nombre.
19 nämlich, daß sie mich wie ein armes Schaf zur Schlachtbank führen wollen. Denn ich wußte nicht, daß sie wider mich beratschlagt hatten und gesagt: Laßt uns den Baum mit seinen Früchten verderben und ihn aus dem Lande der Lebendigen ausrotten, daß seines Namen nimmermehr gedacht werde.
20 But, O Lord of armies, judging in righteousness, testing the thoughts and the heart, let me see your punishment come on them: for I have put my cause before you.
20 Mais l'Éternel des armées est un juste juge, Qui sonde les reins et les coeurs. Je verrai ta vengeance s'exercer contre eux, Car c'est à toi que je confie ma cause.
20 Ach, a Thiarna na Slua, is tú an breitheamh cóir, is tú a scrúdaíonn na háranna agus an croí; feicimse do dhíoltas orthu, mar is i do lámha a chuir mé mo chúis.
20 Mas, oh Jehová de los ejércitos, que juzgas justicia, que sondas los riñones y el corazón, vea yo tu venganza de ellos: porque á ti he descubierto mi causa.
20 Aber du, HERR Zebaoth, du gerechter Richter, der du Nieren und Herzen prüfst, laß mich deine Rache über sie sehen; denn ich habe dir meine Sache befohlen.
21 So this is what the Lord of armies has said about the men of Anathoth who have made designs against your life, saying, You are not to be a prophet in the name of the Lord, or death will overtake you by our hands:
21 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel contre les gens d'Anathoth, Qui en veulent à ta vie, et qui disent: Ne prophétise pas au nom de l'Éternel, Ou tu mourras de notre main!
21 Is mar seo a labhair an Tiarna in éadan mhuintir Anatót a iarrann mo bhás agus a bhagair orm: “Ná tairngir in ainm an Tiarna, nó éagfaidh tú faoinár lámha.”
21 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová de los varones de Anathoth, que buscan tu alma, diciendo: No profetices en nombre de Jehová, y no morirás á nuestras manos:
21 Darum spricht der HERR also wider die Männer zu Anathoth, die dir nach deinem Leben stehen und sprechen: Weissage uns nicht im Namen des HERRN, willst du anders nicht von unsern Händen sterben!
22 So the Lord of armies has said, See, I will send punishment on them: the young men will be put to the sword; their sons and their daughters will come to death through need of food:
22 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Voici, je vais les châtier; Les jeunes hommes mourront par l'épée, Leurs fils et leurs filles mourront par la famine.
22 “Is mar seo a smachtóidh mise iad,” a deir Tiarna na Slua, “titfidh a n‑ógánaigh leis an gclaíomh, éagfaidh a mic agus a n‑iníonacha le gorta.
22 Así pues ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: He aquí que yo los visito; los mancebos morirán á cuchillo; sus hijos y sus hijas morirán de hambre;
22 darum spricht der HERR Zebaoth also: Siehe, ich will sie heimsuchen; ihre junge Mannschaft soll mit dem Schwert getötet werden, und ihre Söhne und Töchter sollen Hungers sterben, daß nichts von ihnen übrigbleibe;
23 Not one of them will keep his life, for I will send evil on the men of Anathoth in the year of their punishment.
23 Aucun d'eux n'échappera; Car je ferai venir le malheur sur les gens d'Anathoth, L'année où je les châtierai.
