1 They say, If a man puts away his wife and she goes from him and becomes another man's, will he go back to her again? will not that land have been made unclean? but though you have been acting like a loose woman with a number of lovers, will you now come back to me? says the Lord.
1 Il dit: Lorsqu'un homme répudie sa femme, Qu'elle le quitte et devient la femme d'un autre, Cet homme retourne-t-il encore vers elle? Le pays même ne serait-il pas souillé? Et toi, tu t'es prostituée à de nombreux amants, Et tu reviendrais à moi! dit l'Éternel.
1 Tháinig briathar an Tiarna chugam á rá: “Má scarann fear lena bhean agus go n‑imíonn sí uaidh agus go mbíonn sí ag fear eile, an bhféadann sí filleadh air arís? Nár truaillíodh an giodán talún sin go mór? Agus tusa a rinne striapach díot féin leis an oiread sin leannán, an bhfillfeása orm? - is é an Tiarna a labhraíonn.
1 DICEN: Si alguno dejare su mujer, y yéndose ésta de él se juntare á otro hombre, ¿volverá á ella más? ¿no será tal tierra del todo amancillada? Tú pues has fornicado con muchos amigos; mas vuélvete á mí, dijo Jehová.
1 Und er spricht: Wenn sich ein Mann von seinem Weibe scheidet, und sie zieht von ihm und nimmt einen andern Mann, darf er sie auch wieder annehmen? Ist's nicht also, daß das Land verunreinigt würde? Du aber hast mit vielen Buhlen gehurt; doch komm wieder zu mir; spricht der HERR.
2 Let your eyes be lifted up to the open hilltops, and see; where have you not been taken by your lovers? You have been seated waiting for them by the wayside like an Arabian in the waste land; you have made the land unclean with your loose ways and your evil-doing.
2 Lève tes yeux vers les hauteurs, et regarde! Où ne t'es-tu pas prostituée! Tu te tenais sur les chemins, comme l'Arabe dans le désert, Et tu as souillé le pays par tes prostitutions et par ta méchanceté.
2 Tóg do shúile chuig na harda loma agus féach! An bhfuil áit ar bith nár luíodh leat? Shuigh tú sna bealaí rompu ar nós Arabaigh san fhásach. Tá an talamh truaillithe ag do striapachas agus do chionta.
2 Alza tus ojos á los altos, y ve en qué lugar no te hayas publicado: para ellos te sentabas en los caminos, como Arabe en el desierto; y con tus fornicaciones y con tu malicia has contaminado la tierra.
2 Hebe deine Augen auf zu den Höhen und siehe, wie du allenthalben Hurerei treibst. An den Straßen sitzest du und lauerst auf sie wie ein Araber in der Wüste und verunreinigst das Land mit deiner Hurerei und Bosheit.
3 So the showers have been kept back, and there has been no spring rain; still your brow is the brow of a loose woman, you will not let yourself be shamed.
3 Aussi les pluies ont-elles été retenues, Et la pluie du printemps a-t-elle manqué; Mais tu as eu le front d'une femme prostituée, Tu n'as pas voulu avoir honte.
3 Sin é an fáth ar coinníodh siar na ceathanna, agus nach raibh fearthainn an earraigh ann. Agus choinnigh tú go dána ort d'aghaidh striapaí, b'fhada uait lasadh agus náire.
3 Por esta causa las aguas han sido detenidas, y faltó la lluvia de la tarde; y has tenido frente de mala mujer, ni quisiste tener vergüenza.
3 Darum muß auch der Frühregen ausbleiben und kein Spätregen kommen. Du hast eine Hurenstirn, du willst dich nicht mehr schämen
4 Will you not, from this time, make your prayer to me, crying, My father, you are the friend of my early years?

8 And though she saw that, because Israel, turning away from me, had been untrue to me, I had put her away and given her a statement in writing ending the relation between us, still Judah, her false sister, had no fear, but went and did the same.
8 Quoique j'eusse répudié l'infidèle Israël à cause de tous ses adultères, et que je lui eusse donné sa lettre de divorce, j'ai vu que la perfide Juda, sa soeur, n'a point eu de crainte, et qu'elle est allée se prostituer pareillement.

8 Que yo lo había visto; que por todas estas causas en las cuales fornicó la rebelde Israel, yo la había despedido, y dádole la carta de su repudio; y no tuvo temor la rebelde Judá su hermana, sino que también fué ella y fornicó.
8 wie ich der Abtrünnigen Israel Ehebruch gestraft und sie verlassen und ihr einen Scheidebrief gegeben habe: dennoch fürchtet sich ihre Schwester, die verstockte Juda, nicht, sondern geht hin und treibt auch Hurerei.
9 So that through all her loose behaviour the land became unclean, and she was untrue, giving herself to stones and trees.
9 Par sa criante impudicité Israël a souillé le pays, elle a commis un adultère avec la pierre et le bois.
9 Bhí a striapachas chomh mínáireach sin gur thruailligh sí an talamh as a dheireadh; rinne adhaltranas le clocha agus le smutáin adhmaid.
9 Y sucedió que por la liviandad de su fornicación la tierra fué contaminada, y adulteró con la piedra y con el leño.
9 Und von dem Geschrei ihrer Hurerei ist das Land verunreinigt; denn sie treibt Ehebruch mit Stein und Holz.
10 But for all this, her false sister Judah has not come back to me with all her heart, but with deceit, says the Lord.
10 Malgré tout cela, la perfide Juda, sa soeur, n'est pas revenue à moi de tout son coeur; c'est avec fausseté qu'elle l'a fait, dit l'Éternel.
10 Níos measa ná seo uile: níor fhill a deirfiúr fhealltach Iúdá orm ó chroí ach go bréagach - is é an Tiarna a labhraíonn.”
10 Y con todo esto, la rebelde su hermana Judá no se tornó á mí de todo su corazón, sino mentirosamente, dice Jehová.
10 Und in diesem allem bekehrt sich die verstockte Juda, ihre Schwester, nicht zu mir von ganzem Herzen, sondern heuchelt also, spricht der HERR.
11 And the Lord said to me, Israel in her turning away is seen to be more upright than false Judah.
11 L'Éternel me dit: L'infidèle Israël paraît innocente En comparaison de la perfide Juda.

12 Go, and give out these words to the north, and say, Come back, O Israel, though you have been turned away from me, says the Lord; my face will not be against you in wrath: for I am full of mercy, says the Lord, I will not be angry for ever.
12 Va, crie ces paroles vers le septentrion, et dis: Reviens, infidèle Israël! dit l'Éternel. Je ne jetterai pas sur vous un regard sévère; Car je suis miséricordieux, dit l'Éternel, Je ne garde pas ma colère à toujours.

12 Ve, y clama estas palabras hacia el aquilón, y di: Vuélvete, oh rebelde Israel, dice Jehová; no haré caer mi ira sobre vosotros: porque misericordioso soy yo, dice Jehová, no guardaré para siempre el enojo.
12 Gehe hin und rufe diese Worte gegen die Mitternacht und sprich: Kehre wieder, du abtrünnige Israel, spricht der HERR, so will ich mein Antlitz nicht gegen euch verstellen. Denn ich bin barmherzig, spricht der HERR, und ich will nicht ewiglich zürnen.
13 Only be conscious of your sin, the evil you have done against the Lord your God; you have gone with strange men under every branching tree, giving no attention to my voice, says the Lord.
13 Reconnais seulement ton iniquité, Reconnais que tu as été infidèle à l'Éternel, ton Dieu, Que tu as dirigé çà et là tes pas vers les dieux étrangers, Sous tout arbre vert, Et que tu n'as pas écouté ma voix, dit l'Éternel.

13 Conoce empero tu maldad, porque contra Jehová tu Dios has prevaricado, y tus caminos has derramado á los extraños debajo de todo árbol umbroso, y no oiste mi voz, dice Jehová.
13 Allein erkenne deine Missetat, daß du wider den HERRN, deinen Gott, gesündigt hast und bist hin und wieder gelaufen zu den fremden Göttern unter allen grünen Bäumen und habt meiner Stimme nicht gehorcht, spricht der HERR.
14 Come back, O children who are turned away, says the Lord; for I am a husband to you, and I will take you, one from a town and two from a family, and will make you come to Zion;

15 And I will give you keepers, pleasing to my heart, who will give you your food with knowledge and wisdom.
15 Je vous donnerai des bergers selon mon coeur, Et ils vous paîtront avec intelligence et avec sagesse.

15 Y os daré pastores según mi corazón, que os apacienten de ciencia y de inteligencia.
15 und will euch Hirten geben nach meinem Herzen, die euch weiden sollen mit Lehre und Weisheit.
16 And it will come about, when your numbers are increased in the land, in those days, says the Lord, that they will no longer say, The ark of the agreement of the Lord: it will not come into their minds, they will not have any memory of it, or be conscious of the loss of it, and it will not be made again.
16 Lorsque vous aurez multiplié et fructifié dans le pays, En ces jours-là, dit l'Éternel, On ne parlera plus de l'arche de l'alliance de l'Éternel; Elle ne viendra plus à la pensée; On ne se la rappellera plus, on ne s'apercevra plus de son absence, Et l'on n'en fera point une autre.
16 Agus nuair a líonfar agus a mhéadófar sibh sa tír, ansin - an Tiarna a labhraíonn - ní déarfaidh aon duine arís go deo: ‘Áirc chonradh an Tiarna’, ná ní bheidh smaoineamh uirthi ná cuimhne, ní bheidh caitheamh ina diaidh ná ní dhéanfar arís í.
16 Y acontecerá, que cuando os multiplicareis y creciereis en la tierra, en aquellos días, dice Jehová, no se dirá más: Arca del pacto de Jehová; ni vendrá al pensamiento, ni se acordarán de ella, ni la visitarán, ni se hará más.
16 Und es soll geschehen, wenn ihr gewachsen seid und euer viel geworden sind im Lande, so soll man, spricht der HERR, zur selben Zeit nicht mehr sagen von der Bundeslade des HERRN, auch ihrer nicht mehr gedenken noch davon predigen noch nach ihr fragen, und sie wird nicht wieder gemacht werden;
17 At that time Jerusalem will be named the seat of the Lord's kingdom; and all the nations will come together to it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: and no longer will their steps be guided by the purposes of their evil hearts.
17 En ce temps-là, on appellera Jérusalem le trône de l'Éternel; Toutes les nations s'assembleront à Jérusalem, au nom de l'Éternel, Et elles ne suivront plus les penchants de leur mauvais coeur.
17 Nuair a thiocfaidh an t‑am sin gairfear de Iarúsailéim: ‘Ríchathaoir an Tiarna’; cruinneoidh na ciníocha uile chuici in ainm an Tiarna, agus ní shiúlfaidh siad níos mó de réir spreagadh a ndroch-chroí féin.
17 En aquel tiempo llamarán á Jerusalem Trono de Jehová, y todas las gentes se congregarán á ella en el nombre de Jehová en Jerusalem: ni andarán más tras la dureza de su corazón malvado.
17 sondern zur selben Zeit wird man Jerusalem heißen "Des HERRN Thron", und es werden sich dahin sammeln alle Heiden um des Namens des HERRN willen zu Jerusalem und werden nicht mehr wandeln nach den Gedanken ihres bösen Herzens.
18 In those days the family of Judah will go with the family of Israel, and they will come together out of the land of the north into the land which I gave for a heritage to your fathers.
18 En ces jours, La maison de Juda marchera avec la maison d'Israël; Elles viendront ensemble du pays du septentrion Au pays dont j'ai donné la possession à vos pères.

18 En aquellos tiempos irán de la casa de Judá á la casa de Israel, y vendrán juntamente de tierra del aquilón á la tierra que hice heredar á vuestros padres.
18 Zu der Zeit wird das Haus Juda gehen zum Hause Israel, und sie werden miteinander kommen von Mitternacht in das Land, das ich euren Vätern zum Erbe gegeben habe.
19 But I said, How am I to put you among the children, and give you a desired land, a heritage of glory among the armies of the nations? and I said, You are to say to me, My father; and not be turned away from me.
19 Je disais: Comment te mettrai-je parmi mes enfants, Et te donnerai-je un pays de délices, Un héritage, le plus bel ornement des nations? Je disais: Tu m'appelleras: Mon père! Et tu ne te détourneras pas de moi.
19 Agus bhí mé ag ceapadh: Cé mar ba mhaith liom thusa a áireamh ar mo chlann mhac, agus go dtabharfainn duit dúiche aoibhinn, an oidhreacht is deise ar na ciníocha uile. Cheap mé go dtabharfása orm: rí Athair liom, agus nach n‑imeofá go deo ó mo lorg.
19 Yo empero dije: ¿Cómo te pondré por hijos, y te daré la tierra deseable, la rica heredad de los ejércitos de las gentes? Y dije: Padre mío me llamarás, y no te apartarás de en pos de mí.
19 Und ich sagte dir zu: Wie will ich dir so viel Kinder geben und das liebe Land, das allerschönste Erbe unter den Völkern! Und ich sagte dir zu: Du wirst alsdann mich nennen "Lieber Vater!" und nicht von mir weichen.
20 Truly, as a wife is false to her husband, so have you been false to me, O Israel, says the Lord.
20 Mais, comme une femme est infidèle à son amant, Ainsi vous m'avez été infidèles, maison d'Israël, Dit l'Éternel.
20 Ach fearacht bean a imíonn go fealltach óna leannán d'fheall teach Iosrael ormsa - is é an Tiarna a labhraíonn.’ ”
20 Mas como la esposa quiebra la fe de su compañero, así prevaricasteis contra mí, oh casa de Israel, dice Jehová.
20 Aber das Haus Israel achtete mich nicht, gleichwie ein Weib ihren Buhlen nicht mehr achtet, spricht der HERR.
21 A voice is sounding on the open hilltops, the weeping and the prayers of the children of Israel; because their way is twisted, they have not kept the Lord their God in mind.
21 Une voix se fait entendre sur les lieux élevés; Ce sont les pleurs, les supplications des enfants d'Israël; Car ils ont perverti leur voie, Ils ont oublié l'Éternel, leur Dieu.

21 Voz sobre las alturas fué oída, llanto de los ruegos de los hijos de Israel; porque han torcido su camino, de Jehová su Dios se han olvidado.
21 Darum hört man ein klägliches Heulen und Weinen der Kinder Israel auf den Höhen, dafür daß sie übel getan und des HERRN, ihres Gottes, vergessen haben.
22 Come back, you children who have been turned away, and I will take away your desire for wandering. See, we have come to you, for you are the Lord our God.
22 Revenez, enfants rebelles, Je pardonnerai vos infidélités. -Nous voici, nous allons à toi, Car tu es l'Éternel, notre Dieu.
22 “Filligí, a mhaca mídhílse, leigheasfaidh mise bhur mídhílseacht.” “Táimid anseo, is ortsa atá ár dtriall, óir is tú an Tiarna ár nDia.
22 Convertíos, hijos rebeldes, sanaré vuestras rebeliones. He aquí nosotros venimos á tí; porque tú eres Jehová nuestro Dios.
22 So kehret nun wieder, ihr abtrünnigen Kinder, so will ich euch heilen von eurem Ungehorsam. Siehe wir kommen zu dir; denn du bist der HERR, unser Gott.
23 Truly, the hills, and the noise of an army on the mountains, are a false hope: truly, in the Lord our God is the salvation of Israel.
23 Oui, le bruit qui vient des collines et des montagnes n'est que mensonge; Oui, c'est en l'Éternel, notre Dieu, qu'est le salut d'Israël.

23 Ciertamente vanidad son los collados, la multitud de los montes: ciertamente en Jehová nuestro Dios está la salud de Israel.
23 Wahrlich, es ist eitel Betrug mit Hügeln und mit allen Bergen. Wahrlich, es hat Israel keine Hilfe denn am HERRN, unserm Gott.
24 But the Baal has taken all the work of our fathers from our earliest days; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.
24 Les idoles ont dévoré le produit du travail de nos pères, Dès notre jeunesse, Leurs brebis et leurs boeufs, leurs fils et leurs filles.

24 Confusión consumió el trabajo de nuestros padres desde nuestra mocedad; sus ovejas, sus vacas, sus hijos y sus hijas.
24 Und die Schande hat gefressen unsrer Väter Arbeit von unsrer Jugend auf samt ihren Schafen, Rindern, Söhnen und Töchtern.
25 Let us be stretched on the earth in our downfall, covering ourselves with our shame: for we have been sinners against the Lord our God, we and our fathers, from our earliest years even till this day: and we have not given ear to the voice of the Lord our God.
25 Nous avons notre honte pour couche, Et notre ignominie pour couverture; Car nous avons péché contre l'Éternel, notre Dieu, Nous et nos pères, dès notre jeunesse jusqu'à ce jour, Et nous n'avons pas écouté la voix de l'Éternel, notre Dieu. -
