1 The Lord says, Heaven is the seat of my power, and earth is the resting-place for my feet: what sort of house will you make for me, and what place will be my resting-place?
1 Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Le ciel est mon trône, Et la terre mon marchepied. Quelle maison pourriez-vous me bâtir, Et quel lieu me donneriez-vous pour demeure?

1 JEHOVA dijo así: El cielo es mi solio, y la tierra estrado de mis pies: ¿dónde está la casa que me habréis de edificar, y dónde este lugar de mi reposo?
1 So spricht der HERR: Der Himmel ist mein Stuhl und die Erde meine Fußbank; was ist's denn für ein Haus, daß ihr mir bauen wollt, oder welches ist die Stätte, da ich ruhen soll?
2 For all these things my hand has made, and they are mine, says the Lord; but to this man only will I give attention, to him who is poor and broken in spirit, fearing my word.
2 Toutes ces choses, ma main les a faites, Et toutes ont reçu l'existence, dit l'Éternel. Voici sur qui je porterai mes regards: Sur celui qui souffre et qui a l'esprit abattu, Sur celui qui craint ma parole.

2 Mi mano hizo todas estas cosas, y así todas estas cosas fueron, dice Jehová: mas á aquél miraré que es pobre y humilde de espíritu, y que tiembla á mi palabra.
2 Meine Hand hat alles gemacht, was da ist, spricht der HERR. Ich sehe aber an den Elenden und der zerbrochenen Geistes ist und der sich fürchtet vor meinem Wort.
3 He who puts an ox to death puts a man to death; he who makes an offering of a lamb puts a dog to death; he who makes a meal offering makes an offering of pig's blood; he who makes an offering of perfumes for a sign gives worship to an image: as they have gone after their desires, and their soul takes pleasure in their disgusting things;
3 Celui qui immole un boeuf est comme celui qui tuerait un homme, Celui qui sacrifie un agneau est comme celui qui romprait la nuque à un chien, Celui qui présente une offrande est comme celui qui répandrait du sang de porc, Celui qui brûle de l'encens est comme celui qui adorerait des idoles; Tous ceux-là se complaisent dans leurs voies, Et leur âme trouve du plaisir dans leurs abominations.
3 An té a íobraíonn mart, agus a leagann duine mar an gcéanna, a mharaíonn uan agus a thachtann madadh, a ofrálann arbhar, agus a thoirbhríonn fuil mhuice, a dhónn túis mar chuimhneachán, agus a thugann ómós d'íola, tá a mbealach féin roghnaithe ag a leithéidí, agus dúil a n‑anama ina gcuid gráiniúlachta.
3 El que sacrifica buey, como si matase un hombre; el que sacrifica oveja, como si degollase un perro; el que ofrece presente, como si ofreciese sangre de puerco; el que ofrece perfume, como si bendijese á un ídolo. Y pues escogieron sus caminos, y su alma amó sus abominaciones.
3 Wer einen Ochsen schlachtet, ist eben als der einen Mann erschlüge; wer ein Schaf opfert, ist als der einem Hund den Hals bräche; wer Speisopfer bringt, ist als der Saublut opfert, wer Weihrauch anzündet, ist als der das Unrecht lobt. Solches erwählen sie in ihren Wegen, und ihre Seele hat Gefallen an ihren Greueln.
4 So I will go after trouble for them, and will send on them what they are fearing: because no one made answer to my voice, or gave ear to my word; but they did what was evil in my eyes, going after that in which I took no pleasure.
4 Moi aussi, je me complairai dans leur infortune, Et je ferai venir sur eux ce qui cause leur effroi, Parce que j'ai appelé, et qu'ils n'ont point répondu, Parce que j'ai parlé, et qu'ils n'ont point écouté; Mais ils ont fait ce qui est mal à mes yeux, Et ils ont choisi ce qui me déplaît.
4 Ar an gcuma chéanna, roghnóidh mé féin amhgar dóibhsean, agus tarraingeoidh mé orthu na rudaí is mó is eagal leo. Óir ghlaoigh mé agus níor fhreagair aon duine, labhair mé agus ní raibh aon duine ag éisteacht. Rinne siad an rud a b'olc i mo shúile, agus an rud a thaitneodh liom, níorbh áil leo. 4 También yo escogeré sus escarnios, y traeré sobre ellos lo que temieron; porque llamé, y nadie respondió; hablé, y no oyeron; antes hicieron lo malo delante de mis ojos, y escogieron lo que á mí desagrada.
4 Darum will ich auch erwählen, was ihnen wehe tut; und was sie scheuen, will ich über sie kommen lassen, darum daß ich rief, und niemand antwortete, daß ich redete, und sie hörten nicht und taten, was mir übel gefiel, und erwählten, was mir nicht gefiel.
5 Give ear to the word of the Lord, you who are in fear at his word: your countrymen, hating you, and driving you out because of my name, have said, Let the Lord's glory be made clear, so that we may see your joy; but they will be put to shame.
5 Écoutez la parole de l'Éternel, Vous qui craignez sa parole. Voici ce que disent vos frères, Qui vous haïssent et vous repoussent A cause de mon nom: Que l'Éternel montre sa gloire, Et que nous voyions votre joie! -Mais ils seront confondus.
5 Éistigí le briathar an Tiarna, sibhse a bhfuil urraim agaibh dá bhriathar Bhur muintir féin gur fuath leo sibh, agus a thugann droim láimhe libh de dheasca m'ainm, deir siad: “Taispeánadh an Tiarna a ghlóir, go bhfeicimid sibh ag déanamh gairdis.” Ach is orthu féin a bheidh an náire.
5 Oid palabra de Jehová, vosotros los que tembláis á su palabra: Vuestros hermanos los que os aborrecen, y os niegan por causa de mi nombre, dijeron: Glorifíquese Jehová. Mas él se mostrará con alegría vuestra, y ellos serán confundidos.
5 Höret des HERRN Wort, die ihr euch fürchtet vor seinem Wort: Eure Brüder, die euch hassen und sondern euch ab um meines Namens willen, sprechen: "Laßt sehen, wie herrlich der HERR sei, laßt ihn erscheinen zu eurer Freude"; die sollen zu Schanden werden.
6 There is a noise of war from the town, a sound from the Temple, the voice of the Lord giving punishment to his haters.
6 Une voix éclatante sort de la ville, Une voix sort du temple. C'est la voix de l'Éternel, Qui paie à ses ennemis leur salaire.
6 An ghlóraíl agus an ghlafarnach sin sa chathair, an glór ag teacht ón Teampall, glór an Tiarna is ea é agus é ag baint sásaimh as a naimhde.
6 Voz de alboroto de la ciudad, voz del templo, voz de Jehová que da el pago á sus enemigos.
6 Man wird hören eine Stimme des Getümmels in der Stadt, eine Stimme vom Tempel, eine Stimme des HERRN, der seinen Feinden bezahlt.
7 Before her pains came, she gave birth; before her pains, she gave birth to a man-child.
7 Avant d'éprouver les douleurs, Elle a enfanté; Avant que les souffrances lui vinssent, Elle a donné naissance à un fils.
7 Bean a bhreith clainne gan tinneas agus mac a shaolú gan bheith i bpriacal!
7 Antes que estuviese de parto, parió; antes que le viniesen dolores parió hijo.
7 Sie gebiert, ehe ihr wehe wird; sie ist genesen eines Knaben, ehe denn ihre Kindsnot kommt.
8 When has such a story come to men's ears? who has seen such things? will a land come to birth in one day? will a nation be given birth in a minute? For when Zion's pains came on her, she gave birth to her children straight away.
8 Qui a jamais entendu pareille chose? Qui a jamais vu rien de semblable? Un pays peut-il naître en un jour? Une nation est-elle enfantée d'un seul coup? A peine en travail, Sion a enfanté ses fils!
8 Cé a chuala trácht ar a leithéid, cé a chonaic a leithéid riamh? An saolaítear tír in aon lá amháin, an dtugtar náisiún chun breithe d'aon uain amháin? Ach níor luaithe Síón ina luí seoil ná thug sí clann mhac ar an saol!
8 ¿Quién oyó cosa semejante? ¿quién vió cosa tal? ¿parirá la tierra en un día? ¿nacerá una nación de una vez? Pues en cuanto Sión estuvo de parto, parió sus hijos.
8 Wer hat solches je gehört? wer hat solches je gesehen? Kann auch, ehe denn ein Land die Wehen kriegt, ein Volk auf einmal geboren werden? Nun hat doch ja Zion ihre Kinder ohne Wehen geboren.
9 Will I by whom the birth was started, not make it complete? says the Lord. Will I who make children come to birth, let them be kept back? says your God.
9 Ouvrirais-je le sein maternel, Pour ne pas laisser enfanter? dit l'Éternel; Moi, qui fais naître, Empêcherais-je d'enfanter? dit ton Dieu.
9 An dtabharfaidh mé chun breithe, gan an bhreith a thabhairt chun críche? a deir an Tiarna. Mise a ghin, an ndúnfaidh mé an bhroinn? a deir do Dhia.
9 ¿Yo que hago parir, no pariré? dijo Jehová. ¿Yo que hago engendrar, seré detenido? dice el Dios tuyo.
9 Sollte ich das Kind lassen die Mutter brechen und nicht auch lassen geboren werden? spricht der HERR. Sollte ich, der gebären läßt, verschließen? spricht dein Gott.
10 Have joy with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you her lovers: take part in her joy, all you who are sorrowing for her:
10 Réjouissez-vous avec Jérusalem, Faites d'elle le sujet de votre allégresse, Vous tous qui l'aimez; Tressaillez avec elle de joie, Vous tous qui menez deuil sur elle;
10 Bíodh lúcháir ort, a Iarúsailéim, bíodh áthas oraibh, a lucht na páirte, mar gheall uirthi! Gáirigí le gairdeas mar gheall uirthi, sibh uile a raibh éide bhróin oraibh ina diaidh!
10 Alegraos con Jerusalem, y gozaos con ella, todos los que la amáis: llenaos con ella de gozo, todos los que os enlutáis por ella:
10 Freuet euch mit Jerusalem und seid fröhlich über sie, alle, die ihr sie liebhabt; freuet euch mit ihr, alle, die ihr hier über sie traurig gewesen seid!
11 So that you may take of the comfort flowing from her breasts, and be delighted with the full measure of her glory.
11 Afin que vous soyez nourris et rassasiés Du lait de ses consolations, Afin que vous savouriez avec bonheur La plénitude de sa gloire.
11 Ionas go dtálfar bhur sáith oraibh ó chíocha na sólás, ionas go mblaisfidh sibh go fonnmhar de dhiúl a glóire.
11 Para que maméis y os saciéis de los pechos de sus consolaciones; para que ordeñéis, y os deleitéis con el resplandor de su gloria.
11 Denn dafür sollt ihr saugen und satt werden von den Brüsten ihres Trostes; ihr sollt dafür saugen und euch ergötzen an der Fülle ihrer Herrlichkeit.
12 For the Lord says, See, I will make her peace like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream, and she will take her children in her arms, gently caring for them on her knees.
12 Car ainsi parle l'Éternel: Voici, je dirigerai vers elle la paix comme un fleuve, Et la gloire des nations comme un torrent débordé, Et vous serez allaités; Vous serez portés sur les bras, Et caressés sur les genoux.
12 Óir is mar seo a deir an Tiarna: Cuirfidh mé an tsíocháin uaim ag triall uirthi mar bheadh abhainn ann, agus ar nós tuile ag sceitheadh thar bruacha saibhreas na gciníocha. Beidh a leanaí cíche á n‑iompar ar an leis agus á luascadh ar ghlúine.
12 Porque así dice Jehová: He aquí que yo extiendo sobre ella paz como un río, y la gloria de las gentes como un arroyo que sale de madre; y mamaréis, y sobre el lado seréis traídos, y sobre las rodillas seréis regalados.
12 Denn also spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich breite aus den Frieden bei ihr wie einen Strom und die Herrlichkeit der Heiden wie einen ergossenen Bach; da werdet ihr saugen. Ihr sollt auf dem Arme getragen werden, und auf den Knieen wird man euch freundlich halten.
13 As to one who is comforted by his mother, so will I give you comfort: and you will be comforted in Jerusalem.
13 Comme un homme que sa mère console, Ainsi je vous consolerai; Vous serez consolés dans Jérusalem.
13 Mar a bheadh máthair ag cur páiste chun suaimhnis, mise chomh maith, tabharfaidh mé suaimhneas daoibhse. [In Iarúsailéim a gheobhaidh sibh suaimhneas.]
13 Como aquel á quien consuela su madre, así os consolaré yo á vosotros, y en Jerusalem tomaréis consuelo.
13 Ich will euch trösten, wie einen seine Mutter tröstet; ja, ihr sollt an Jerusalem ergötzt werden.
14 And you will see it and your heart will be glad, and your bones will get new strength, like young grass: and the hand of the Lord will be seen at work for his servants, and his wrath against his haters.
14 Vous le verrez, et votre coeur sera dans la joie, Et vos os reprendront de la vigueur comme l'herbe; L'Éternel manifestera sa puissance envers ses serviteurs, Mais il fera sentir sa colère à ses ennemis.
14 Ar a fheiceáil daoibh, beidh lúcháir ar bhur gcroí, agus beidh bhur gcnámha chomh húr le geamhar féir. Léireoidh an Tiarna a neart dá sheirbhísigh agus cuirfidh a naimhde aithne ar a fhearg.
14 Y veréis, y alegraráse vuestro corazón, y vuestros huesos reverdecerán como la hierba: y la mano de Jehová para con sus siervos será conocida, y se airará contra sus enemigos.
14 Ihr werdet's sehen, und euer Herz wird sich freuen, und euer Gebein soll grünen wie Gras. Da wird man erkennen die Hand des HERRN an seinen Knechten und den Zorn an seinen Feinden.
15 For the Lord is coming with fire, and his war-carriages will be like the storm-wind; to give punishment in the heat of his wrath, and his passion is like flames of fire.
15 Car voici, l'Éternel arrive dans un feu, Et ses chars sont comme un tourbillon; Il convertit sa colère en un brasier, Et ses menaces en flammes de feu.
15 Óir féach, tá an Tiarna ag teacht i gcaor thine agus a charbadra ar nós guairneán gaoithe, chun a chuid feirge a scaoileadh ina fraoch, agus a aithis in aon bharr amháin lasrach.
15 Porque he aquí que Jehová vendrá con fuego, y sus carros como torbellino, para tornar su ira en furor, y su reprensión en llama de fuego.
15 Denn siehe, der HERR wird kommen mit Feuer und seine Wagen wie ein Wetter, daß er vergelte im Grimm seines Zorns und mit Schelten in Feuerflammen.
16 For with fire and sword will the Lord come, judging all the earth, and his sword will be on all flesh: and great numbers will be put to death by him.
16 C'est par le feu que l'Éternel exerce ses jugements, C'est par son glaive qu'il châtie toute chair; Et ceux que tuera l'Éternel seront en grand nombre.
16 Mar tá an Tiarna chun breith a thabhairt le tine, chun an cine daonna a chiontú lena chlaíomh, agus marófar mórán leis an Tiarna. I gCoinne na Searmanas Págánach
16 Porque Jehová juzgará con fuego y con su espada á toda carne: y los muertos de Jehová serán multiplicados.
16 Denn der HERR wird durchs Feuer richten und durch sein Schwert alles Fleisch; und der Getöteten des HERRN wird viel sein.
17 As for those who keep themselves separate, and make themselves clean in the gardens, going after one in the middle, taking pig's flesh for food, and other disgusting things, such as the mouse: their works and their thoughts will come to an end together, says the Lord.
17 Ceux qui se sanctifient et se purifient dans les jardins, Au milieu desquels ils vont un à un, Qui mangent de la chair de porc, Des choses abominables et des souris, Tous ceux-là périront, dit l'Éternel.
17 An dream a choisreacann agus a ghlanann iad féin i ngairdíní, duine i ndiaidh an duine i bhfáinne draíochta, a itheann feoil mhuice agus luchóg agus péisteanna gránna, béarfaidh drochchríoch ar an iomlán acu, briathar an Tiarna. Aitheasc ar an Nua-aois
17 Los que se santifican y los que se purifican en los huertos, unos tras otros, los que comen carne de puerco, y abominación, y ratón; juntamente serán talados, dice Jehová.
17 Die sich heiligen und reinigen in den Gärten, einer hier, der andere da, und essen Schweinefleisch, Greuel und Mäuse, sollen weggerafft werden miteinander, spricht der HERR.
18 And I am coming to get together all nations and tongues: and they will come and will see my glory.
18 Je connais leurs oeuvres et leurs pensées. Le temps est venu de rassembler toutes les nations Et toutes les langues; Elles viendront et verront ma gloire.
18 Tá mé ag teacht chun ciníocha na n‑uile theanga a chruinniú le chéile. Tiocfaidh siad a bhreathnú ar mo ghlóir.
18 Porque yo entiendo sus obras y sus pensamientos: tiempo vendrá para juntar todas las gentes y lenguas; y vendrán, y verán mi gloria.
18 Und ich kenne ihre Werke und Gedanken. Es kommt die Zeit, daß ich sammle alle Heiden und Zungen, daß sie kommen und sehen meine Herrlichkeit.
19 And I will put a sign among them, and I will send those who are still living to the nations, to Tarshish, Put, and Lud, Meshech and Rosh, Tubal and Javan, to the sea-lands far away, who have not had word of me, or seen my glory; and they will give the knowledge of my glory to the nations.
19 Je mettrai un signe parmi elles, Et j'enverrai leurs réchappés vers les nations, A Tarsis, à Pul et à Lud, qui tirent de l'arc, A Tubal et à Javan, Aux îles lointaines, Qui jamais n'ont entendu parler de moi, Et qui n'ont pas vu ma gloire; Et ils publieront ma gloire parmi les nations.
19 Tabharfaidh mé comhartha dóibh agus cuirfidh mé cuid dár tháinig slán díobh amach chuig na náisiúin: chuig Tairsís, Pút, Lúd, Móiséic, Róis, Túbal agus Iáván, i dtreo insí na farraige i gcéin nár chuala trácht orm agus nach bhfaca mo ghlóir.
19 Y pondré entre ellos señal, y enviaré de los escapados de ellos á las gentes, á Tarsis, á Pul y Lud, que disparan arco, á Tubal y á Javán, á las islas apartadas que no oyeron de mí, ni vieron mi gloria; y publicarán mi gloria entre las gentes.
19 Und ich will ein Zeichen unter sie geben und ihrer etliche, die errettet sind, senden zu den Heiden, gen Tharsis, gen Phul und Lud zu den Bogenschützen, gen Thubal und Javan und in die Ferne zu den Inseln, da man nichts von mir gehört hat und die meine Herrlichkeit nicht gesehen haben; und sollen meine Herrlichkeit unter den Heiden verkündigen.
20 And they will take your countrymen out of all the nations for an offering to the Lord, on horses, and in carriages, and in carts, and on asses, and on camels, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says the Lord, as the children of Israel take their offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord.
20 Ils amèneront tous vos frères du milieu de toutes les nations, En offrande à l'Éternel, Sur des chevaux, des chars et des litières, Sur des mulets et des dromadaires, A ma montagne sainte, A Jérusalem, dit l'Éternel, Comme les enfants d'Israël apportent leur offrande, Dans un vase pur, A la maison de l'Éternel.
20 Agus ar ais as na náisiúin uile, ina dtabhartais don Tiarna, tabharfaidh siad leo bhur muintir go léir - ar muin capaill, i gcarbaid agus ar eileatroim, ar mhiúileanna agus ar chamaill rásaíochta - go dtí mo shliabh beannaithe in Iarúsailéim, a deir an Tiarna, ar nós mar iompraíonn clann Iosrael an tabhartas i soithí glana go teampall an Tiarna.
20 Y traerán á todos vuestros hermanos de entre todas las naciones, por presente á Jehová, en caballos, en carros, en literas, y en mulos, y en camellos, á mi santo monte de Jerusalem, dice Jehová, al modo que los hijos de Israel traen el presente en vasos limpios á la casa de Jehová.
20 Und sie werden alle eure Brüder aus allen Heiden herzubringen, dem HERR zum Speisopfer, auf Rossen und Wagen, auf Sänften, auf Maultieren und Dromedaren gen Jerusalem, zu meinem heiligen Berge, spricht der HERR, gleichwie die Kinder Israel Speisopfer in reinem Gefäß bringen zum Hause des HERRN.
21 And some of them will I take for priests and Levites, says the Lord.
21 Et je prendrai aussi parmi eux Des sacrificateurs, des Lévites, dit l'Éternel.
21 Agus cuid acu, déanfaidh mé sagairt agus Léivítigh díobh dom féin, a deir an Tiarna.
21 Y tomaré también de ellos para sacerdotes y Levitas, dice Jehová.
21 Und ich will auch aus ihnen nehmen Priester und Leviten, spricht der HERR.
22 For as the new heaven and the new earth which I will make will be for ever before me, says the Lord, so will your seed and your name be for ever.
22 Car, comme les nouveaux cieux Et la nouvelle terre que je vais créer Subsisteront devant moi, dit l'Éternel, Ainsi subsisteront votre postérité et votre nom.
22 Óir na spéartha nua agus an talamh nua atá á gcruthú agam, díreach mar a bheidh siadsan buan i mo láthair, briathair an Tiarna, is amhlaidh a bheidh bhur gcine agus bhur n‑ainm buan chomh maith.
22 Porque como los cielos nuevos y la nueva tierra, que yo hago, permanecen delante de mí, dice Jehová, así permanecerá vuestra simiente y vuestro nombre.
22 Denn gleichwie der neue Himmel und die neue Erde, die ich mache, vor mir stehen, spricht der HERR, also soll auch euer Same und Name stehen.
23 And it will be, that from new moon to new moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh will come to give worship before me, says the Lord.
23 A chaque nouvelle lune et à chaque sabbat, Toute chair viendra se prosterner devant moi, dit l'Éternel.
23 Mí in aghaidh na míosa le teacht na ré nua, agus seachtain in aghaidh na seachtaine lá na sabóide, tiocfaidh an cine daonna go léir ag sléachtadh i mo láthair, a deir an Tiarna.
23 Y será que de mes en mes, y de sábado en sábado, vendrá toda carne á adorar delante de mí, dijo Jehová.
23 Und alles Fleisch wird einen Neumond nach dem andern und einen Sabbat nach dem andern kommen, anzubeten vor mir, spricht der HERR.
24 And they will go out to see the dead bodies of the men who have done evil against me: for their worm will ever be living, and their fire will never be put out, and they will be a thing of fear to all flesh.
24 Et quand on sortira, on verra Les cadavres des hommes qui se sont rebellés contre moi; Car leur ver ne mourra point, et leur feu ne s'éteindra point; Et ils seront pour toute chair un objet d'horreur.
