1 Come quietly before me, O sea-lands, and let the peoples get together their strength: let them come near; then let them say what they have to say: let us put forward our cause against one another.
1 Iles, faites silence pour m'écouter! Que les peuples raniment leur force, Qu'ils avancent, et qu'ils parlent! Approchons pour plaider ensemble.

1 ESCUCHADME, islas, y esfuércense los pueblos; alléguense, y entonces hablen: estemos juntamente á juicio.
1 Laß die Inseln vor mir schweigen und die Völker sich stärken! Laß sie herzutreten und nun reden; laßt uns miteinander rechten!
2 Who sent out from the east one who is right wherever he goes? he gives the nations into his hands, and makes him ruler over kings; he gives them as the dust to his sword, as dry stems before the wind to his bow.
2 Qui a suscité de l'orient Celui que le salut appelle à sa suite? Qui lui a livré les nations et assujetti des rois? Qui a réduit leur glaive en poussière, Et leur arc en un chaume qui s'envole?
2 “Cé a mhúscail é siúd as an Oirthear, a bhfuil an bua ag fáiltiú roimhe gach áit a dtriallann sé? Cé a thugann na ciníocha ar láimh dó agus a thugann béim síos do na ríthe os a chomhair? Déanann a chlaíomh deannach díobh agus scaipeann a bhogh iad ina gcoinleach cáite.
2 ¿Quién despertó del oriente al justo, lo llamó para que le siguiese, entregó delante de él naciones, é hízolo enseñorear de reyes; entrególos á su espada como polvo, y á su arco como hojarascas arrebatadas?
2 Wer hat den Gerechten vom Aufgange erweckt? Wer rief ihn, daß er ging? Wer gab die Heiden und Könige vor ihm dahin, daß er ihrer mächtig ward, und gab sie seinem Schwert wie Staub und seinem Bogen wie zerstreute Stoppeln,
3 He goes after them safely, not touching the road with his feet.
3 Il s'est mis à leur poursuite, il a parcouru avec bonheur Un chemin que son pied n'avait jamais foulé.

3 Siguiólos, pasó en paz por camino por donde sus pies nunca habían entrado.

4 Whose purpose and work was it? His who sent out the generations from the start. I the Lord, the first, and with the last, I am he.
4 Qui a fait et exécuté ces choses? C'est celui qui a appelé les générations dès le commencement, Moi, l'Éternel, le premier Et le même jusqu'aux derniers âges.

4 ¿Quién obró é hizo esto? ¿Quién llama las generaciones desde el principio? Yo Jehová, el primero, y yo mismo con los postreros.
4 Wer tut's und macht es und ruft alle Menschen nacheinander von Anfang her? Ich bin's, der HERR, der Erste und der Letzte.
5 The sea-lands saw it, and were in fear; the ends of the earth were shaking: they came near.
5 Les îles le voient, et sont dans la crainte, Les extrémités de la terre tremblent: Ils s'approchent, ils viennent.
5 Feiceann insí na farraige é agus gabhann eagla iad, tá an talamh ar crith ó cheann ceann; tá siad ag tarraingt orainn, tá siad i láthair.
5 Las islas vieron, y tuvieron temor, los términos de la tierra se espantaron: congregáronse, y vinieron.
5 Da das die Inseln sahen, fürchteten sie sich, und die Enden der Erde erschraken; sie nahten und kamen herzu.
6 They gave help everyone to his neighbour; and everyone said to his brother, Take heart!
6 Ils s'aident l'un l'autre, Et chacun dit à son frère: Courage!

6 Cada cual ayudó á su cercano, y á su hermano dijo: Esfuérzate.

7 So the metal-worker put heart into the gold-worker, and he who was hammering the metal smooth said kind words to the iron-worker, saying of the plate, It is ready: and he put it together with nails, so that there might be no slipping.
7 Le sculpteur encourage le fondeur; Celui qui polit au marteau encourage celui qui frappe sur l'enclume; Il dit de la soudure: Elle est bonne! Et il fixe l'idole avec des clous, pour qu'elle ne branle pas.
7 Spreagann an ceardaí an gabha óir; gríosaíonn fear an chasúir ghreanta fear buailte na hinneona. Deir sé faoin phlátáil: “Tá sé déanta go maith.” Agus daingníonn le tairní é sa chaoi nach mbogfaidh sé.] Tá Dia i bhFochair Iosrael
7 El carpintero animó al platero, y el que alisa con martillo al que batía en el yunque, diciendo: Buena está la soldadura, y afirmólo con clavos, porque no se moviese.
7 Der Zimmermann nahm den Goldschmied zu sich und machten mit dem Hammer das Blech glatt auf dem Amboß und sprachen: Das wird fein stehen! und hefteten's mit Nägeln, daß es nicht sollte wackeln.
8 But as for you, Israel, my servant, and you, Jacob, whom I have taken for myself, the seed of Abraham my friend:
8 Mais toi, Israël, mon serviteur, Jacob, que j'ai choisi, Race d'Abraham que j'ai aimé!
8 Is tusa, a Iosrael, mo ghiolla; tusa, a Iacóib, atá tofa agam, síol Abrahám, mo chara.
8 Mas tú, Israel, siervo mío eres, tú, Jacob, á quien yo escogí, simiente de Abraham mi amigo.
8 Du aber, Israel, mein Knecht, Jakob, den ich erwählt habe, du Samen Abrahams, meines Geliebten,
9 You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and sent for from its farthest parts, saying to you, You are my servant, whom I have taken for myself, and whom I have not given up:
9 Toi, que j'ai pris aux extrémités de la terre, Et que j'ai appelé d'une contrée lointaine, A qui j'ai dit: Tu es mon serviteur, Je te choisis, et ne te rejette point!

9 Porque te tomé de los extremos de la tierra, y de sus principales te llamé, y te dije: Mi siervo eres tú, te escogí, y no te deseché.
9 der ich dich gestärkt habe von der Welt Enden her und habe dich berufen von ihren Grenzen und sprach zu dir: Du sollst mein Knecht sein; denn ich erwähle dich, und verwerfe dich nicht,
10 Have no fear, for I am with you; do not be looking about in trouble, for I am your God; I will give you strength, yes, I will be your helper; yes, my true right hand will be your support.
10 Ne crains rien, car je suis avec toi; Ne promène pas des regards inquiets, car je suis ton Dieu; Je te fortifie, je viens à ton secours, Je te soutiens de ma droite triomphante.
10 Ná bíodh eagla ort, tá mise i d'fhochair; ná bíodh faitíos ort, mar is mé do Dhia. Cuirimse neart ionat agus cuidím leat, coinním suas le mo dheasláimh bhuach thú.
10 No temas, que yo soy contigo; no desmayes, que yo soy tu Dios que te esfuerzo: siempre te ayudaré, siempre te sustentaré con la diestra de mi justicia.
10 fürchte dich nicht, ich bin mit dir; weiche nicht, denn ich bin dein Gott; ich stärke dich, ich helfe dir auch, ich erhalte dich durch die rechte Hand meiner Gerechtigkeit.
11 Truly, all those who are angry with you will be made low and put to shame: those desiring to do you wrong will come to nothing and never again be seen.
11 Voici, ils seront confondus, ils seront couverts de honte, Tous ceux qui sont irrités contre toi; Ils seront réduits à rien, ils périront, Ceux qui disputent contre toi.
11 Sea, beidh náire agus ceann faoi orthu, iad siúd uile a bhí go fíochmhar i do choinne. Beidh siad mar neamhní agus rachaidh siad ar ceal, an dream a bhí ag iomaíocht leat.
11 He aquí que todos los que se airan contra ti, serán avergonzados y confundidos: serán como nada y perecerán, los que contienden contigo.
11 Siehe, sie sollen zu Spott und zu Schanden werden alle, die dir gram sind; sie sollen werden wie nichts; und die Leute, die mit dir hadern, sollen umkommen,
12 You will make search for your haters but they will not be there; those who make war against you will be as nothing and will come to destruction.
12 Tu les chercheras, et ne les trouveras plus, Ceux qui te suscitaient querelle; Ils seront réduits à rien, réduits au néant, Ceux qui te faisaient la guerre.
12 Beidh tú á lorg agus ní bheidh fáil agat orthu, na céilí comhraic seo agat; dísceofar iad, cuirfear ar neamhní iad, an dream atá ag cur catha ort.
12 Los buscarás, y no los hallarás, los que tienen contienda contigo, serán como nada, y como cosa que no es, aquellos que te hacen guerra.
12 daß du nach ihnen fragen möchtest, und wirst sie nicht finden. Die Leute, die mit dir zanken, sollen werden wie nichts; und die Leute, die wider dich streiten, sollen ein Ende haben.
13 For I, the Lord your God, have taken your right hand in mine, saying to you, Have no fear; I will be your helper.
13 Car je suis l'Éternel, ton Dieu, Qui fortifie ta droite, Qui te dis: Ne crains rien, Je viens à ton secours.

13 Porque yo Jehová soy tu Dios, que te ase de tu mano derecha, y te dice: No temas, yo te ayudé.
13 Denn ich bin der HERR, dein Gott, der deine rechte Hand stärkt und zu dir spricht: Fürchte dich nicht, ich helfe dir!
14 Have no fear, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel; I will be your helper, says the Lord, even he who takes up your cause, the Holy One of Israel.
14 Ne crains rien, vermisseau de Jacob, Faible reste d'Israël; Je viens à ton secours, dit l'Éternel, Et le Saint d'Israël est ton sauveur.
14 Ná bíodh eagla ort, a Iacóib, a chnumhóigín, a fhrídín, a Iosrael. Táimse ag teacht i gcabhair ort - briathar an Tiarna - is é Neach Naofa Iosrael d'fhuascailteoir.
14 No temas, gusano de Jacob, oh vosotros los pocos de Israel; yo te socorrí, dice Jehová, y tu Redentor el Santo de Israel.
14 So fürchte dich nicht, du Würmlein Jakob, ihr armer Haufe Israel. Ich helfe dir, spricht der HERR, und dein Erlöser ist der Heilige in Israel.
15 See, I will make you like a new grain-crushing instrument with teeth, crushing the mountains small, and making the hills like dry stems.
15 Voici, je fais de toi un traîneau aigu, tout neuf, Garni de pointes; Tu écraseras, tu broieras les montagnes, Et tu rendras les collines semblables à de la balle.

15 Siehe, ich habe dich zum scharfen, neuen Dreschwagen gemacht, der Zacken hat, daß du sollst Berge zerdreschen und zermalmen und die Hügel zu Spreu machen.
16 You will send the wind over them, and it will take them away; they will go in all directions before the storm-wind: you will have joy in the Lord, and be glad in the Holy One of Israel.
16 Tu les vanneras, et le vent les emportera, Et un tourbillon les dispersera. Mais toi, tu te réjouiras en l'Éternel, Tu mettras ta gloire dans le Saint d'Israël.
16 Cáithfidh tú iad agus tabharfaidh an ghaoth ar shiúl iad, cuirfidh an stoirm scaipeadh orthu. Maidir leat féin, beidh lúcháir ort sa Tiarna, beidh tú ag déanamh mórtais as Neach Naofa Iosrael. Éachta an Eaxodus Nua
16 Los aventarás, y los llevará el viento, y esparcirálos el torbellino. Tú empero te regocijarás en Jehová, te gloriarás en el Santo de Israel.
16 Du sollst sie zerstreuen, daß sie der Wind wegführe und der Wirbel verwehe. Du aber wirst fröhlich sein über den HERRN und wirst dich rühmen des Heiligen in Israel.
17 The poor and crushed are looking for water where no water is, and their tongue is dry for need of it: I the Lord will give ear to their prayer, I the God of Israel will not give them up.
17 Les malheureux et les indigents cherchent de l'eau, et il n'y en a point; Leur langue est desséchée par la soif. Moi, l'Éternel, je les exaucerai; Moi, le Dieu d'Israël, je ne les abandonnerai pas.
17 Tá na dearóile agus na bochtáin ag lorg uisce, agus níl sé ann. Tá an teanga spallta iontu le tart. Ach mise, an Tiarna, tabharfaidh mé éisteacht dóibh, mise, Dia Iosrael, ní thréigfidh mé iad.
17 Los afligidos y menesterosos buscan las aguas, que no hay; secóse de sed su lengua; yo Jehová los oiré, yo el Dios de Israel no los desampararé.
17 Die Elenden und Armen suchen Wasser, und ist nichts da; ihre Zunge verdorrt vor Durst. Aber ich, der HERR, will sie erhören; ich, der Gott Israels, will sie nicht verlassen.
18 I will make rivers on the dry mountain-tops, and fountains in the valleys: I will make the waste land a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.
18 Je ferai jaillir des fleuves sur les collines, Et des sources au milieu des vallées; Je changerai le désert en étang, Et la terre aride en courants d'eau;
18 Ar na dumhcha osclóidh mé aibhneacha agus fuaráin uisce i lár na ngleannta. Déanfaidh mé lochán den ghaineamhlach agus toibreacha den talamh tirim.
18 En los altos abriré ríos, y fuentes en mitad de los llanos: tornaré el desierto en estanques de aguas, y en manaderos de aguas la tierra seca.
18 Sondern ich will Wasserflüsse auf den Höhen öffnen und Brunnen mitten auf den Feldern und will die Wüste zu Wasserseen machen und das dürre Land zu Wasserquellen;
19 I will put in the waste land the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive-tree; and in the lowland will be planted the fir-tree, the plane, and the cypress together:
19 Je mettrai dans le désert le cèdre, l'acacia, Le myrte et l'olivier; Je mettrai dans les lieux stériles Le cyprès, l'orme et le buis, tous ensemble;
19 San fhásach cuirfidh mé crainn chéadrais, crainn acáise agus crainn mhiortail agus crainn olóige. Sa díthreabh cuirfidh mé an t‑aiteal, crann plána agus cufróg le hais a chéile.
19 Daré en el desierto cedros, espinos, arrayanes, y olivas; pondré en la soledad hayas, olmos, y álamos juntamente;
19 ich will in der Wüste geben Zedern, Akazien, Myrten und Kiefern; ich will dem Gefilde geben Tannen, Buchen und Buchsbaum miteinander,
20 So that they may see and be wise and give their mind to it, and that it may be clear to them all that the hand of the Lord has done this, and that the Holy One of Israel has made it.
20 Afin qu'ils voient, qu'ils sachent, Qu'ils observent et considèrent Que la main de l'Éternel a fait ces choses, Que le Saint d'Israël en est l'auteur.
20 Chun go bhfeice daoine agus go n‑aithní siad, chun go meabhraí siad agus go dtuige siad le chéile gurb í lámh an Tiarna a rinne an méid sin, gurb é Neach Naofa Iosrael a chuir i gcrích. Is é an Tiarna an t‑aon Dia amháin
20 Porque vean y conozcan, y adviertan y entiendan todos, que la mano de Jehová hace esto, y que el Santo de Israel lo crió.
20 auf daß man sehe und erkenne und merke und verstehe zumal, daß des HERRN Hand habe solches getan und der Heilige in Israel habe solches geschaffen.
21 Put forward your cause, says the Lord; let your strong argument come out, says the King of Jacob.
21 Plaidez votre cause, Dit l'Éternel; Produisez vos moyens de défense, Dit le roi de Jacob.
21 “Tugaigí bhur gcúis i láthair,” a deir an Tiarna; “déanaigí bhur bpléadáil,” a deir rí Iacóib.
21 Alegad por vuestra causa, dice Jehová: exhibid vuestros fundamentos, dice el Rey de Jacob.
21 So lasset eure Sache herkommen, spricht der HERR; bringet her, worauf ihr stehet, spricht der König in Jakob.
22 Let the future be made clear to us: give us news of the past things, so that we may give thought to them; or of the things to come, so that we may see if they are true.
22 Qu'ils les produisent, et qu'ils nous déclarent Ce qui doit arriver. Quelles sont les prédictions que jadis vous avez faites? Dites-le, pour que nous y prenions garde, Et que nous en reconnaissions l'accomplissement; Ou bien, annoncez-nous l'avenir.
22 “Tagadh siad chun tosaigh, na déithe bréige seo, agus foilsíodh siad dúinn cad tá le titim amach. Cad a thaispeáin siad dúinn san am atá thart go dtabharfaimis aird ar bith orthu? Nó an é go bhfuil sibh chun na rudaí atá le teacht a nochtadh chun go mbeidh a fhios againn an toradh a bheidh orthu.
22 Traigan, y anúnciennos lo que ha de venir: dígannos lo que ha pasado desde el principio, y pondremos nuestro corazón en ello; sepamos también su postrimería, y hacednos entender lo que ha de venir.
22 Lasset sie herzutreten und uns verkündigen, was künftig ist. Saget an, was zuvor geweissagt ist, so wollen wir mit unserm Herzen darauf achten und merken, wie es gekommen ist; oder lasset uns doch hören, was zukünftig ist!
23 Give us word of what will be after this, so that we may be certain that you are gods: yes, do good or do evil, so that we may all see it and be surprised.
23 Dites ce qui arrivera plus tard, Pour que nous sachions si vous êtes des dieux; Faites seulement quelque chose de bien ou de mal, Pour que nous le voyions et le regardions ensemble.
23 Foilsígí dúinn cad a bheidh ann amach anseo, chun go bhfeice muid an déithe sibh. Déanaigí rud éigin, olc, maith nó dona, chun go n‑airí muid agus go bhfeice muid go léir é.
23 Dadnos nuevas de lo que ha de ser después, para que sepamos que vosotros sois dioses; ó á lo menos haced bien, ó mal, para que tengamos qué contar, y juntamente nos maravillemos.
23 Verkündiget uns, was hernach kommen wird, so wollen wir merken, daß ihr Götter seid. Wohlan, tut Gutes oder Schaden, so wollen wir davon reden und miteinander schauen.
24 But you are nothing, and your work is of no value: foolish is he who takes you for his gods.
24 Voici, vous n'êtes rien, Et votre oeuvre est le néant; C'est une abomination que de se complaire en vous.
24 Ar ndóigh, ní dada sibh agus is neamhní bhur saothar, is gráiniúil an rud é dul i bpáirt libh.” Bua Chíorais sa Tairngreacht
24 He aquí que vosotros sois de nada, y vuestras obras de vanidad; abominación el que os escogió.
24 Siehe, ihr seid aus nichts, und euer Tun ist auch aus nichts; und euch wählen ist ein Greuel.
25 I have sent for one from the north, and from the dawn he has come; in my name he will get rulers together and go against them; they will be like dust, even as the wet earth is stamped on by the feet of the potter.
25 Je l'ai suscité du septentrion, et il est venu; De l'orient, il invoque mon nom; Il foule les puissants comme de la boue, Comme de l'argile que foule un potier.
25 Mhúscail mé as an Tuaisceart é agus tháinig sé, ghlaoigh mé air as an Oirthear ina ainm. Shatail sé ar mhaoir chúige mar a bheadh láib iontu, mar a dhéanfadh potaire a chuid cré a phasáil.
25 Del norte desperté uno, y vendrá; del nacimiento del sol llamará en mi nombre: y hollará príncipes como lodo, y como pisa el barro el alfarero.
25 Ich aber erwecke einen von Mitternacht, und er kommt vom Aufgang der Sonne. Er wird meinen Namen anrufen und wird über die Gewaltigen gehen wie über Lehm und wird den Ton treten wie ein Töpfer.
26 Who has given knowledge of it from the first, so that we may be certain of it? and from the start, so that we may say, His word is true? There is no one who gives news, or says anything, or who gives ear to your words.
26 Qui l'a annoncé dès le commencement, pour que nous le sachions, Et longtemps d'avance, pour que nous disions: C'est vrai? Nul ne l'a annoncé, nul ne l'a prédit, Et personne n'a entendu vos paroles.
26 Cé a d'fhoilsigh é anallód, go mbeadh a fhios againn? fadó riamh, chun go ndéarfaí: “Tá sé ceart”? Ach ní raibh duine ar bith ann a d'fhoilsigh é, duine ar bith a d'fhógair é, duine ar bith a chuala focal uait.
26 ¿Quién lo anunció desde el principio, para que sepamos; ó de tiempo atrás, y diremos: Es justo? Cierto, no hay quien anuncie, sí, no hay quien enseñe, ciertamente no hay quien oiga vuestras palabras.
26 Wer kann etwas verkündigen von Anfang? so wollen wir's vernehmen, oder weissagen zuvor? so wollen wir sagen: Du redest recht! Aber da ist kein Verkündiger, keiner, der etwas hören ließe, keiner, der von euch ein Wort hören möge.
27 I was the first to give word of it to Zion, and I gave the good news to Jerusalem.
27 C'est moi le premier qui ai dit à Sion: Les voici, les voici! Et à Jérusalem: J'envoie un messager de bonnes nouvelles!
27 Bhí sé ráite agam le Síón roimh ré: “Seo chugainn iad”; bhí teachtaire dea-scéala curtha agam chuig Iarúsailéim.
27 Yo soy el primero que he enseñado estas cosas á Sión, y á Jerusalem daré un portador de alegres nuevas.
27 Ich bin der erste, der zu Zion sagt: Siehe, da ist's! und Jerusalem gebe ich Prediger.
28 And I saw that there was no man, even no wise man among them, who might give an answer to my questions.
28 Je regarde, et il n'y a personne, Personne parmi eux qui prophétise, Et qui puisse répondre, si je l'interroge.
28 Bhí mé ag breathnú uaim agus ní raibh aon duine ann, ní raibh ceann comhairle ar bith ina measc go bhféadfainn ceist a chur air agus a thabharfadh freagra dom.
28 Miré, y no había ninguno; y pregunté de estas cosas, y ningún consejero hubo: preguntéles, y no respondieron palabra.
28 Dort aber schaue ich, aber da ist niemand; und sehe unter sie, aber da ist kein Ratgeber; ich fragte sie, aber da antworteten sie nichts.
29 Truly they are all nothing, their works are nothing and of no value: their metal images are of no more use than wind.
29 Voici, ils ne sont tous que vanité, Leurs oeuvres ne sont que néant, Leurs idoles ne sont qu'un vain souffle.
