1 Come near, you nations, and give ear; take note, you peoples: let the earth and everything in it give ear; the world and all those living in it.
1 Approchez, nations, pour entendre! Peuples, soyez attentifs! Que la terre écoute, elle et ce qui la remplit, Le monde et tout ce qu'il produit!
1 Gabhaigí i leith, a chiníocha, go n‑éiste sibh; a phobala, tugaigí aire; éisteadh an talamh agus gach a bhfuil ann, an domhan cláir agus a shliocht go léir!
1 GENTES, allegaos á oir; y escuchad, pueblos. Oiga la tierra y lo que la hinche, el mundo y todo lo que él produce.
1 Kommt herzu, ihr Heiden, und höret, ihr Völker, merkt auf! Die Erde höre zu und was darinnen ist, der Weltkreis samt seinem Gewächs!
2 For the Lord is angry with all the nations, and his wrath is burning against all their armies: he has put them to the curse, he has given them to destruction.
2 Car la colère de l'Éternel va fondre sur toutes les nations, Et sa fureur sur toute leur armée: Il les voue à l'extermination, Il les livre au carnage.
2 Óir tá fearg ar an Tiarna leis na ciníocha ar fad, tá sé i bhfíoch leis an slua acu go léir; tá siad curtha faoi gheasa a millte aige, tá siad tugtha suas aige don ár.
2 Porque Jehová está airado sobre todas las gentes, é irritado sobre todo el ejército de ellas: destruirálas y entregarálas al matadero por la sangre de ellos.
2 Denn der HERR ist zornig über alle Heiden und grimmig über all ihr Heer. Er wird sie verbannen und zum Schlachten überantworten.
3 Their dead bodies will be thick on the face of the earth, and their smell will come up, and the mountains will be flowing with their blood, and all the hills will come to nothing.
3 Leurs morts sont jetés, Leurs cadavres exhalent la puanteur, Et les montagnes se fondent dans leur sang.
3 Tá a gcuid marbhán á gcartadh amach, agus boladh ag éirí óna gcoirp; tá a gcuid fola ina slaoda ar na sléibhte;
3 Y los muertos de ellas serán arrojados, y de sus cadáveres se levantará hedor; y los montes se desleirán por la sangre de ellos.
3 Und ihre Erschlagenen werden hingeworfen werden, daß der Gestank von ihren Leichnamen aufgehen wird und die Berge von ihrem Blut fließen.
4 And the heavens will be rolled together like the roll of a book: and all their army will be gone, like a dead leaf from the vine, or a dry fruit from the fig-tree.
4 Toute l'armée des cieux se dissout; Les cieux sont roulés comme un livre, Et toute leur armée tombe, Comme tombe la feuille de la vigne, Comme tombe celle du figuier.
4 tá slua na spéartha ar fad ag titim as a chéile. Tá na spéartha á gcornadh suas mar bheadh scrolla ann agus slua na reann ag feo, mar a bheadh craobhacha fíniúna ag feo, mar dhuilliúr feoite an chrann figí.
4 Y todo el ejército de los cielos se corromperá, y plegarse han los cielos como un libro: y caerá todo su ejército, como se cae la hoja de la parra, y como se cae la de la higuera.
4 Und wird alles Heer des Himmels verfaulen, und der Himmel wird zusammengerollt werden wie ein Buch, und all sein Heer wird verwelken, wie ein Blatt verwelkt am Weinstock und wie ein dürres Blatt am Feigenbaum.
5 For my sword in heaven is full of wrath: see, it is coming down on Edom, in punishment on the people of my curse.
5 Mon épée s'est enivrée dans les cieux; Voici, elle va descendre sur Édom, Sur le peuple que j'ai voué à l'extermination, pour le châtier.
5 Óir tá mo chlaíomh ar maos sna spéartha... Féach, tá sé ag tuirlingt ar Eadóm, ar an gcine atá daortha damhnaithe agam.
5 Porque en los cielos se embriagará mi espada: he aquí que descenderá sobre Edom en juicio, y sobre el pueblo de mi anatema.
5 Denn mein Schwert ist trunken im Himmel; und siehe, es wird herniederfahren auf Edom und über das verbannte Volk zur Strafe.
6 The sword of the Lord is full of blood, it is fat with the best of the meat, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the best parts of the sheep: for the Lord has a feast in Bozrah, and much cattle will be put to death in the land of Edom.
6 L'épée de l'Éternel est pleine de sang, couverte de graisse, Du sang des agneaux et des boucs, De la graisse des reins des béliers; Car il y a des victimes de l'Éternel à Botsra, Et un grand carnage dans le pays d'Édom,
6 Tá claíomh ag an Tiarna agus é sách le fuil, tá sé bealaithe le blonag, le fuil na n‑uan agus na ngabhar, le geir cheathrún na reithí. Mar tá íobairt ag an Tiarna i mBozrá agus eirleach mór aige i bhfearann Eadóm.
6 Llena está de sangre la espada de Jehová, engrasada está de grosura, de sangre de corderos y de cabritos, de grosura de riñones de carneros: porque Jehová tiene sacrificios en Bosra, y grande matanza en tierra de Edom.
6 Des HERRN Schwert ist voll Blut und dick von Fett, vom Blut der Lämmer und Böcke, von der Nieren Fett aus den Widdern; denn der HERR hält ein Schlachten zu Bozra und ein großes Würgen im Lande Edom.
7 And the strong oxen will go down to death together with the smaller cattle.
7 Les buffles tombent avec eux, Et les boeufs avec les taureaux; La terre s'abreuve de sang, Et le sol est imprégné de graisse.
7 Tá ciníocha ag titim mar a thitfeadh damhra allta, in ionad tarbh, tá pobal gaiscíoch á leagan. Tá a dtalamh siúd múchta le fuil, agus a gcréafóg á leasú le geir.
7 Y con ellos vendrán abajo unicornios, y toros con becerros; y su tierra se embriagará de sangre, y su polvo se engrasará de grosura.
7 Da werden die Einhörner samt ihnen herunter müssen und die Farren samt den gemästeten Ochsen. Denn ihr Land wird trunken werden von Blut und ihre Erde dick werden von Fett.
8 For it is the day of the Lord's punishment, when he gives payment for the wrongs done to Zion.
8 Car c'est un jour de vengeance pour l'Éternel, Une année de représailles pour la cause de Sion.
8 Óir lá díoltais ag an Tiarna atá ann agus bliain chúitimh ag curadh cosanta Shíón.
8 Porque es día de venganza de Jehová, año de retribuciones en el pleito de Sión.
8 Denn das ist der Tag der Rache des HERRN und das Jahr der Vergeltung, zu rächen Zion.
9 And its streams will be turned into boiling oil, and its dust into burning stone, and all the land will be on fire.
9 Les torrents d'Édom seront changés en poix, Et sa poussière en soufre; Et sa terre sera comme de la poix qui brûle.
9 Beidh srutháin thír Eadóm arna n‑iompú ina bpic agus a créafóg ina cloch ruibhe; tá an dúiche in aon dóiteán pice amháin.
9 Y sus arroyos se tornarán en pez, y su polvo en azufre, y su tierra en pez ardiente.
9 Da werden Edoms Bäche zu Pech werden und seine Erde zu Schwefel; ja sein Land wird zu brennendem Pech werden,
10 It will not be put out day or night; its smoke will go up for ever: it will be waste from generation to generation; no one will go through it for ever.
10 Elle ne s'éteindra ni jour ni nuit, La fumée s'en élèvera éternellement; D'âge en âge elle sera désolée, A tout jamais personne n'y passera.
10 Oíche nó lá ní théann múchadh uirthi, tá an toit ag dul suas uaithi de shíor; beidh ina fásach ó ghlúin go glúin, duine daonna ní ghabhfaidh tríthi go deo.
10 No se apagará de noche ni de día, perpetuamente subirá su humo: de generación en generación será asolada, nunca jamás pasará nadie por ella.
10 das weder Jahr noch Tag verlöschen wird, sondern ewiglich wird Rauch von ihm aufgehen; und es wird für und für wüst sein, daß niemand dadurchgehen wird in Ewigkeit;
11 But the birds of the waste land will have their place there; it will be a heritage for the bittern and the raven: and it will be measured out with line and weight as a waste land.
11 Le pélican et le hérisson la posséderont, La chouette et le corbeau l'habiteront. On y étendra le cordeau de la désolation, Et le niveau de la destruction.
11 Beidh sí ina gnáthóg ag an mbonnán buí agus ag an ngráinneog; beidh cónaí ann ag an scréachóg agus ag an bhfiach dubh; sínfidh an Tiarna dorú an éagrutha léi, agus leibhéal na foilmhe.
11 Y la poseerán el pelícano y el mochuelo, la lechuza y el cuervo morarán en ella: y extenderáse sobre ella cordel de destrucción, y niveles de asolamiento.
11 sondern Rohrdommeln und Igel werden's innehaben, Nachteulen und Raben werden daselbst wohnen. Denn er wird eine Meßschnur darüber ziehen, daß es wüst werde, und ein Richtblei, daß es öde sei,
12 The jackals will be there, and her great ones will be gone; they will say, There is no longer a kingdom there, and all her chiefs will have come to an end.
12 Il n'y aura plus de grands pour proclamer un roi, Tous ses princes seront anéantis.
12 Beidh [a n‑áit chónaithe ag na púcaí inti]; ní bheidh a cuid uaisle ar fáil níos mó, ní ghairfear ríthe inti feasta agus beidh a taoisigh go léir ina neamhní.
12 Llamarán á sus príncipes, príncipes sin reino: y todos sus grandes serán nada.
12 daß seine Herren heißen müssen Herren ohne Land und alle seine Fürsten ein Ende haben;
13 And thorns will come up in her fair houses, and waste plants in her strong towers: and foxes will make their holes there, and it will be a meeting-place for ostriches.
13 Les épines croîtront dans ses palais, Les ronces et les chardons dans ses forteresses. Ce sera la demeure des chacals, Le repaire des autruches;
13 Ina cuid pálás beidh sceacha ag fas, agus driseacha agus feochadáin ina dúnta; beidh sí ina huaimheanna ag madraí allta, mar áitreabh ag ulchabháin.
13 En sus alcázares crecerán espinas, y ortigas y cardos en sus fortalezas; y serán morada de chacales, patio para los pollos de los avestruces.
13 und werden Dornen wachsen in seinen Palästen, Nesseln und Disteln in seinen Schlössern; und es wird eine Behausung sein der Schakale und Weide für die Strauße.
14 And the beasts of the waste places will come together with the jackals, and the evil spirits will be crying to one another, even the night-spirit will come and make her resting-place there.
14 Les animaux du désert y rencontreront les chiens sauvages, Et les boucs s'y appelleront les uns les autres; Là le spectre de la nuit aura sa demeure, Et trouvera son lieu de repos;
14 Casfaidh cait allta le faolchúnna inti, agus beidh na púcaí ansin ag glaoch ar a chéile; is inti a rachaidh an chailleach oíche ar ceathrúin, ar lorg suaimhnis di féin.
14 Y las bestias monteses se encontrarán con los gatos cervales, y el peludo gritará á su compañero: la lamia también tendrá allí asiento, y hallará para sí reposo.
14 Da werden untereinander laufen Wüstentiere und wilde Hunde, und ein Feldteufel wird dem andern begegnen; der Kobold wird auch daselbst herbergen und seine Ruhe daselbst finden.
15 The arrowsnake will make her hole and put her eggs there, and get her young together under her shade: there the hawks will come together by twos.
15 Là le serpent fera son nid, déposera ses oeufs, Les couvera, et recueillera ses petits à son ombre; Là se rassembleront tous les vautours.
15 Déanfaidh an nathair a nead inti agus béarfaidh a cuid uibheacha; is inti a rachaidh sí ar gor agus a ligfidh amach a hál; is inti fós a bhaileoidh na seabhaic le chéile,
15 Allí anidará el cuclillo, conservara sus huevos, y sacará sus pollos, y juntarálos debajos de sus alas: también se ayuntarán allí buitres, cada uno con su compañera.
15 Die Natter wird auch daselbst nisten und legen, brüten und aushecken unter seinem Schatten; auch werden die Weihen daselbst zusammenkommen.
16 See what is recorded in the book of the Lord: all these will be there, not one without the other: the mouth of the Lord has given the order, and his spirit has made them come together.
16 Consultez le livre de l'Éternel, et lisez! Aucun d'eux ne fera défaut, Ni l'un ni l'autre ne manqueront; Car sa bouche l'a ordonné. C'est son esprit qui les rassemblera.
16 Cuardaigí i leabhar an Tiarna agus léigí; oiread agus ceann amháin níl in easnamh! Óir is é a bhéalsan a d'ordaigh é, agus a spioradsan a thug le chéile iad, gach aon acu agus a leathéan in éineacht leis.
16 Inquirid en el libro de Jehová, y leed si faltó alguno de ellos: ninguno faltó con su compañera; porque su boca mandó y reuniólos su mismo espíritu.
16 Suchet nun in dem Buch des HERRN und leset! es wird nicht an einem derselben fehlen; man vermißt auch nicht dies noch das. Denn er ist's, der durch meinen Mund gebeut, und sein Geist ist's, der es zusammenbringt.
17 And he has given them their heritage, and by his hand it has been measured out to them: it will be theirs for ever, their resting-place from generation to generation.
17 Il a jeté pour eux le sort, Et sa main leur a partagé cette terre au cordeau, Ils la posséderont toujours, Ils l'habiteront d'âge en âge.
