1 And there will come a rod out of the broken tree of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will give fruit.

2 And the spirit of the Lord will be resting on him, the spirit of wisdom and good sense, the spirit of wise guiding and strength, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
2 L'Esprit de l'Éternel reposera sur lui: Esprit de sagesse et d'intelligence, Esprit de conseil et de force, Esprit de connaissance et de crainte de l'Éternel.

2 auf welchem wird ruhen der Geist des HERRN, der Geist der Weisheit und des Verstandes, der Geist des Rates und der Stärke, der Geist der Erkenntnis und der Furcht des HERRN.
3 And he will not be guided in his judging by what he sees, or give decisions by the hearing of his ears:

3 Und Wohlgeruch wird ihm sein die Furcht des HERRN. Er wird nicht richten, nach dem seine Augen sehen, noch Urteil sprechen, nach dem seine Ohren hören,
4 But he will do right in the cause of the poor, and give wise decisions for those in the land who are in need; and the rod of his mouth will come down on the cruel, and with the breath of his lips he will put an end to the evil-doer.
4 Mais il jugera les pauvres avec équité, Et il prononcera avec droiture sur les malheureux de la terre; Il frappera la terre de sa parole comme d'une verge, Et du souffle de ses lèvres il fera mourir le méchant.
4 Ach déanann sé cóir agus ceart do na dealbha agus tugann breithiúnas cothrom i leith dearóile na tíre. Bata is ea a bhriathar a bhuaileann an t‑anduine, agus gaoth an fhocail uaidh, maraíonn sé an t‑urchóideach.
4 Sino que juzgará con justicia á los pobres, y argüirá con equidad por los mansos de la tierra: y herirá la tierra con la vara de su boca, y con el espíritu de sus labios matará al impío.
4 sondern wird mit Gerechtigkeit richten die Armen und rechtes Urteil sprechen den Elenden im Lande und wird mit dem Stabe seines Mundes die Erde schlagen und mit dem Odem seiner Lippen den Gottlosen töten.
5 And righteousness will be the cord of his robe, and good faith the band round his breast.
5 La justice sera la ceinture de ses flancs, Et la fidélité la ceinture de ses reins.

6 And the wolf will be living with the lamb, and the leopard will take his rest with the young goat; and the lion will take grass for food like the ox; and the young lion will go with the young ones of the herd; and a little child will be their guide.
6 Le loup habitera avec l'agneau, Et la panthère se couchera avec le chevreau; Le veau, le lionceau, et le bétail qu'on engraisse, seront ensemble, Et un petit enfant les conduira.

6 Morará el lobo con el cordero, y el tigre con el cabrito se acostará: el becerro y el león y la bestia doméstica andarán juntos, y un niño los pastoreará.
6 Die Wölfe werden bei den Lämmern wohnen und die Parder bei den Böcken liegen. Ein kleiner Knabe wird Kälber und junge Löwen und Mastvieh miteinander treiben.
7 And the cow and the bear will be friends while their young ones are sleeping together.
7 La vache et l'ourse auront un même pâturage, Leurs petits un même gîte; Et le lion, comme le boeuf, mangera de la paille.

9 There will be no cause of pain or destruction in all my holy mountain: for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the sea is covered by the waters.

9 Man wird niemand Schaden tun noch verderben auf meinem ganzen heiligen Berge; denn das Land ist voll Erkenntnis des HERRN, wie Wasser das Meer bedeckt.
10 And in that day, the eyes of the nations will be turned to the root of Jesse which will be lifted up as the flag of the peoples; and his resting-place will be glory.
10 En ce jour, le rejeton d'Isaï Sera là comme une bannière pour les peuples; Les nations se tourneront vers lui, Et la gloire sera sa demeure.

10 Y acontecerá en aquel tiempo que la raíz de Isaí, la cual estará puesta por pendón á los pueblos, será buscada de las gentes; y su holganza será gloria.
10 Und es wird geschehen zu der Zeit, daß die Wurzel Isai, die da steht zum Panier den Völkern, nach der werden die Heiden fragen; und seine Ruhe wird Ehre sein.
11 And in that day the hand of the Lord will be stretched out the second time to get back the rest of his people, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the sea-lands.
11 Dans ce même temps, le Seigneur étendra une seconde fois sa main, Pour racheter le reste de son peuple, Dispersé en Assyrie et en Égypte, A Pathros et en Éthiopie, A Élam, à Schinear et à Hamath, Et dans les îles de la mer.
11 Sa lá sin, ardóidh an Tiarna a lámh as an nua chun fuílleach a phobail a athghabháil, a mbeidh fágtha tar éis deoraíocht na hAsaíre agus na hÉigipte, ó Phatros agus ó Chúis agus ó Éalám, ó Shionár agus Hamát agus ó chríocha na farraige.
11 Asimismo acontecerá en aquel tiempo, que Jehová tornará á poner otra vez su mano para poseer las reliquias de su pueblo que fueron dejadas de Assur, y de Egipto, y de Parthia, y de Etiopía, y de Persia, y de Caldea, y de Amath, y de las Islas de la mar.
11 Und der HERR wird zu der Zeit zum andernmal seine Hand ausstrecken, daß er das übrige Volk erwerbe, so übriggeblieben von Assur, Ägypten, Pathros, Mohrenland, Elam, Sinear, Hamath und von den Inseln des Meeres,
12 And he will put up a flag as a sign to the nations, and he will get together those of Israel who had been sent away, and the wandering ones of Judah, from the four ends of the earth.
12 Il élèvera une bannière pour les nations, Il rassemblera les exilés d'Israël, Et il recueillera les dispersés de Juda, Des quatre extrémités de la terre.
12 Cuirfidh sé comhartha in airde le haghaidh na náisiún, agus baileoidh sé ar díbríodh as Iosrael le chéile; cruinneoidh sé muintir scaipthe Iúdá ó cheithre arda an domhain.
12 Y levantará pendón á las gentes, y juntará los desterrados de Israel, y reunirá los esparcidos de Judá de los cuatro cantones de la tierra.
12 und wird ein Panier unter die Heiden aufwerfen und zusammenbringen die Verjagten Israels und die Zerstreuten aus Juda zuhauf führen von den vier Enden des Erdreichs;
13 And the envy of Ephraim will be gone, and those who make trouble for Judah will come to an end: Ephraim will have no more envy of Judah, and there will be an end of Judah's hate for Ephraim.
13 La jalousie d'Éphraïm disparaîtra, Et ses ennemis en Juda seront anéantis; Éphraïm ne sera plus jaloux de Juda, Et Juda ne sera plus hostile à Éphraïm.
13 Beidh deireadh ansin le héad Eafráim, agus brúfar naimhde Iúdá síos; ní bheidh Eafráim in éad le Iúdá feasta, ná Iúdá ina namhaid ag Eafráim níos mó.
13 Y se disipará la envidia de Ephraim, y los enemigos de Judá serán talados. Ephraim no tendrá envidia contra Judá, ni Judá afligirá á Ephraim;
13 und der Neid gegen Ephraim wird aufhören, und die Feinde Juda's werden ausgerottet werden, daß Ephraim nicht neide den Juda und Juda nicht sei gegen Ephraim.
14 And they will be united in attacking the Philistines on the west, and together they will take the goods of the children of the east: their hand will be on Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon will be under their rule.
14 Ils voleront sur l'épaule des Philistins à l'occident, Ils pilleront ensemble les fils de l'Orient; Édom et Moab seront la proie de leurs mains, Et les fils d'Ammon leur seront assujettis.
14 Tabharfaidh siad ruathar siar ar shleasa na bhFilistíneach, i gcuideachta a chéile déanfaidh siad slad ar chlann an Oirthir; beidh Eadóm agus Móáb faoina gceannas agus clann Amón ag géilleadh dóibh.
14 Mas volarán sobre los hombros de los Filisteos al occidente, meterán también á saco á los de oriente: Edom y Moab les servirán, y los hijos de Ammón les darán obediencia.
14 Sie werden aber den Philistern auf dem Halse sein gegen Abend und berauben alle die, so gegen Morgen wohnen; Edom und Moab werden ihre Hände gegen sie falten; die Kinder Ammon werden gehorsam sein.
15 And the Lord will make the tongue of the Egyptian sea completely dry; and with his burning wind his hand will be stretched out over the River, and it will be parted into seven streams, so that men may go over it with dry feet.
15 L'Éternel desséchera la langue de la mer d'Égypte, Et il lèvera sa main sur le fleuve, en soufflant avec violence: Il le partagera en sept canaux, Et on le traversera avec des souliers.
15 Agus triomóidh an Tiarna camas mhuir na hÉigipte, agus sínfidh amach a lámh os cionn na hAbhann; le neart a anála roinnfidh sé ina seacht srutháin í, agus beifear ag siúl trasna tirimchosach,
15 Y secará Jehová la lengua de la mar de Egipto; y levantará su mano con fortaleza de su espíritu sobre el río, y herirálo en sus siete brazos, y hará que pasen por él con zapatos.
15 Und der HERR wird verbannen die Zunge des Meeres in Ägypten und wird seine Hand lassen gehen über den Strom mit einem starken Winde und ihn in sieben Bäche zerschlagen, daß man mit Schuhen dadurchgehen kann.
16 And there will be a highway for the rest of his people from Assyria; as there was for Israel in the day when he came up out of the land of Egypt.
16 Et il y aura une route pour le reste de son peuple, Qui sera échappé de l'Assyrie, Comme il y en eut une pour Israël, Le jour où il sortit du pays d'Égypte.
