1 In earlier times he made the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali of small value, but after that he gave it glory, by the way of the sea, on the other side of Jordan, Galilee of the nations.

1 AUNQUE no será esta oscuridad tal como la aflicción que le vino en el tiempo que livianamente tocaron la primera vez á la tierra de Zabulón, y á la tierra de Nephtalí; y después cuando agravaron por la vía de la mar, de esa parte del Jordán, en Galilea de las gentes.
1 Doch es wird nicht dunkel bleiben über denen, die in Angst sind. Hat er zur vorigen Zeit gering gemacht das Land Sebulon und das Land Naphthali, so wird er es hernach zu Ehren bringen, den Weg am Meere, das Land jenseit des Jordans, der Heiden Galiläa.
2 The people who went in the dark have seen a great light, and for those who were living in the land of the deepest night, the light is shining.
2 (9:1) Le peuple qui marchait dans les ténèbres Voit une grande lumière; Sur ceux qui habitaient le pays de l'ombre de la mort Une lumière resplendit.
2 An pobal a bhí ag siúl sa dorchadas, chonaic siad solas mór; agus ar mhuintir na tíre gruama tá solas ag lonrú.
2 El pueblo que andaba en tinieblas vió gran luz: los que moraban en tierra de sombra de muerte, luz resplandeció sobre ellos.
2 Das Volk das im Finstern wandelt, sieht ein großes Licht; und über die da wohnen im finstern Lande, scheint es hell.
3 You have made them very glad, increasing their joy. They are glad before you as men are glad in the time of getting in the grain, or when they make division of the goods taken in war.
3 (9:2) Tu rends le peuple nombreux, Tu lui accordes de grandes joies; Il se réjouit devant toi, comme on se réjouit à la moisson, Comme on pousse des cris d'allégresse au partage du butin.
3 Chuir tú go mór lena n‑áthas, mheadaigh tú ar a lúcháir; tá siad ag déanamh gairdis os do chomhair, mar a dhéanann in aimsir an fhómhair, amhail an gairdeas lena roinntear an chreach.
3 Aumentando la gente, no aumentaste la alegría. Alegraránse delante de ti como se alegran en la siega, como se gozan cuando reparten despojos.
3 Du machst des Volkes viel; du machst groß seine Freude. Vor dir wird man sich freuen, wie man sich freut in der Ernte, wie man fröhlich ist, wenn man Beute austeilt.
4 For by your hand the yoke on his neck and the rod on his back, even the rod of his cruel master, have been broken, as in the day of Midian.
4 (9:3) Car le joug qui pesait sur lui, Le bâton qui frappait son dos, La verge de celui qui l'opprimait, Tu les brises, comme à la journée de Madian.
4 Óir an chuing a bhí anuas orthu, an choirb ar a nguaillí, agus slat an aintiarna, déanann tú smionagar díobh mar a rinne tú lá briste Mhidián.
4 Porque tú quebraste su pesado yugo, y la vara de su hombro, y el cetro de su exactor, como en el día de Madián.
4 Denn du hast das Joch ihrer Last und die Rute ihrer Schulter und den Stecken ihres Treibers zerbrochen wie zur Zeit Midians.
5 For every boot of the man of war with his sounding step, and the clothing rolled in blood, will be for burning, food for the fire.
5 (9:4) Car toute chaussure qu'on porte dans la mêlée, Et tout vêtement guerrier roulé dans le sang, Seront livrés aux flammes, Pour être dévorés par le feu.
5 Óir gach coisbheart catha, agus gach fallaing a tumadh san fhuil, tá siad loiscthe, tá siad dóite le tine.
5 Porque toda batalla de quien pelea es con estruendo, y con revolcamiento de vestidura en sangre: mas esto será para quema, y pábulo del fuego.
5 Denn alle Rüstung derer, die sich mit Ungestüm rüsten, und die blutigen Kleider werden verbrannt und mit Feuer verzehrt werden.
6 For to us a child has come, to us a son is given; and the government has been placed in his hands; and he has been named Wise Guide, Strong God, Father for ever, Prince of Peace.
6 (9:5) Car un enfant nous est né, un fils nous est donné, Et la domination reposera sur son épaule; On l'appellera Admirable, Conseiller, Dieu puissant, Père éternel, Prince de la paix.
6 Óir rugadh leanbh dúinn, tugadh mac dúinn; tá an tiarnas ar a ghualainn, agus is é ainm atá air: “Comhairleoir iontach”, “Dia láidir”, “Athair síoraí”, “Prionsa na síochána”.
6 Porque un niño nos es nacido, hijo nos es dado; y el principado sobre su hombro: y llamaráse su nombre Admirable, Consejero, Dios fuerte, Padre eterno, Príncipe de paz.
6 Denn uns ist ein Kind geboren, ein Sohn ist uns gegeben, und die Herrschaft ist auf seiner Schulter; er heißt Wunderbar, Rat, Held, Ewig-Vater Friedefürst;
7 Of the increase of his rule and of peace there will be no end, on the seat of David, and in his kingdom; to make it strong, supporting it with wise decision and righteousness, now and for ever. By the fixed purpose of the Lord of armies this will be done.
7 (9:6) Donner à l'empire de l'accroissement, Et une paix sans fin au trône de David et à son royaume, L'affermir et le soutenir par le droit et par la justice, Dès maintenant et à toujours: Voilà ce que fera le zèle de l'Éternel des armées.
7 Níl teorainn lena thiarnas ná críoch lena shíocháin ar chathaoir ríoga Dháiví agus ar a ríogacht, ag cur bun agus taca leo, sa cheart agus san fhíréantacht feasta go brách. - Díograis dhílis an Tiarna a chuirfidh sin i gcrích. Díoltas an Tiarna
7 Lo dilatado de su imperio y la paz no tendrán término, sobre el trono de David, y sobre su reino, disponiéndolo y confirmándolo en juicio y en justicia desde ahora para siempre. El celo de Jehová de los ejércitos hará esto.
7 auf daß seine Herrschaft groß werde und des Friedens kein Ende auf dem Stuhl Davids und in seinem Königreich, daß er's zurichte und stärke mit Gericht und Gerechtigkeit von nun an bis in Ewigkeit. Solches wird tun der Eifer des HERRN Zebaoth.
8 The Lord has sent a word to Jacob, and it has come on Israel;
8 (9:7) Le Seigneur envoie une parole à Jacob: Elle tombe sur Israël.
8 Caitheann an Tiarna focal le Iacób agus titeann sé ar Iosrael.
8 El Señor envió palabra á Jacob, y cayó en Israel.
8 Der HERR hat sein Wort gesandt in Jakob, und es ist in Israel gefallen,
9 And all the people will have experience of it, even Ephraim and the men of Samaria, who say in the pride of their uplifted hearts,
9 (9:8) Tout le peuple en aura connaissance, Éphraïm et les habitants de Samarie, Qui disent avec orgueil et fierté:
9 Pobal iomlán Eafráim agus muintir na Samáire, aithníonn siad é. Dúirt siad ina ndíomas agus i sotal a gcroí:
9 Y la sabrá el pueblo, todo él, Ephraim y los moradores de Samaria, que con soberbia y con altivez de corazón dicen:
9 daß alles Volk es innewerde, Ephraim und die Bürger zu Samaria, die da sagen in Hochmut und stolzem Sinn:
10 The bricks have come down, but we will put up buildings of cut stone in their place: the sycamores are cut down, but they will be changed to cedars.
10 (9:9) Des briques sont tombées, Nous bâtirons en pierres de taille; Des sycomores ont été coupés, Nous les remplacerons par des cèdres.
10 “Tá na brící tar éis titim, tógfaimid le clocha gearrtha; tá na seiceamair leagtha, cuirfimid céadrais ina n‑áit.”
10 Los ladrillos cayeron, mas edificaremos de cantería; cortaron los cabrahigos, mas cedros pondremos en su lugar.
10 Ziegelsteine sind gefallen, aber wir wollen's mit Werkstücken wieder bauen; man hat Maulbeerbäume abgehauen, so wollen wir Zedern an die Stelle setzen.
11 For this cause the Lord has made strong the haters of Israel, driving them on to make war against him;
11 (9:10) L'Éternel élèvera contre eux les ennemis de Retsin, Et il armera leurs ennemis,
11 Ach tá an Tiarna ag dreasú a naimhde i gcoinne an phobail seo, tá sé ag gríosú a gcéilí comhraic:
11 Empero Jehová ensalzará los enemigos de Rezín contra él, y juntará sus enemigos;
11 Denn der HERR wird Rezins Kriegsvolk wider sie erhöhen und ihre Feinde zuhauf ausrotten:
12 Aram on the east, and the Philistines on the west, who have come against Israel with open mouths. For all this his wrath is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
12 (9:11) Les Syriens à l'orient, les Philistins à l'occident; Et ils dévoreront Israël à pleine bouche. Malgré tout cela, sa colère ne s'apaise point, Et sa main est encore étendue.
12 Arám thoir agus na Filistínigh thiar, alpann siad Iosrael go cíocrach. Ach níl a fhearg síothlaithe; tá a lámh sínte amach i gcónaí.
12 De oriente los Siros, y los Filisteos de poniente; y con toda la boca se tragarán á Israel. Ni con todo eso ha cesado su furor, antes todavía su mano extendida.
12 die Syrer vorneher und die Philister hintenzu, daß sie Israel fressen mit vollem Maul. In dem allem läßt sein Zorn noch nicht ab; seine Hand ist noch ausgereckt.
13 But the heart of the people was not turned to him who sent punishment on them, and they made no prayer to the Lord of armies.
13 (9:12) Le peuple ne revient pas à celui qui le frappe, Et il ne cherche pas l'Éternel des armées.
13 Ach níor fhill an pobal ar an té a bhí á bhualadh, níor lorg sé Tiarna na Slua;
13 Mas el pueblo no se convirtió al que lo hería, ni buscaron á Jehová de los ejércitos.
13 So kehrt sich das Volk auch nicht zu dem, der es schlägt, und fragen nicht nach dem HERRN Zebaoth.
14 For this cause the Lord took away from Israel head and tail, high and low, in one day.
14 (9:13) Aussi l'Éternel arrachera d'Israël la tête et la queue, La branche de palmier et le roseau, En un seul jour.
14 mar sin tá an Tiarna i ndiaidh ceann agus eireaball a theascadh d'Iosrael, pailm agus giolcach in aon lá amháin.,
14 Y Jehová cortará de Israel cabeza y cola, ramo y caña en un mismo día.
14 Darum wird der HERR abhauen von Israel beide, Kopf und Schwanz, beide, Ast und Stumpf, auf einen Tag.
15 The man who is honoured and responsible is the head, and the prophet who gives false teaching is the tail.
15 (9:14) (L'ancien et le magistrat, c'est la tête, Et le prophète qui enseigne le mensonge, c'est la queue.)

15 El viejo y venerable de rostro es la cabeza: el profeta que enseña mentira, este es cola.
15 Die alten und vornehmen Leute sind der Kopf; die Propheten aber, so falsch lehren, sind der Schwanz.
16 For the guides of this people are the cause of their wandering from the right way, and those who are guided by them come to destruction.
16 (9:15) Ceux qui conduisent ce peuple l'égarent, Et ceux qui se laissent conduire se perdent.
16 Lucht treoraithe an phobail seo, tá siad ar strae, agus an dream atá siad a threorú, tá siad ar seachrán.
16 Porque los gobernadores de este pueblo son engañadores; y sus gobernados, perdidos.
16 Denn die Leiter dieses Volks sind Verführer; und die sich leiten lassen, sind verloren.
17 For this cause the Lord will have no pleasure in their young men, and no pity on their widows and the children without fathers: for they are all haters of God and evil-doers, and foolish words come from every mouth. For all this his wrath is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
17 (9:16) C'est pourquoi le Seigneur ne saurait se réjouir de leurs jeunes hommes, Ni avoir pitié de leurs orphelins et de leurs veuves; Car tous sont des impies et des méchants, Et toutes les bouches profèrent des infamies. Malgré tout cela, sa colère ne s'apaise point, Et sa main est encore étendue.
17 Sin é an fáth nach dtabharfaidh an Tiarna anacal dá n‑ógánaigh, ní bheidh trua aige dá ndílleachtaí ná dá mbaintreacha. Tá an pobal seo aindiaga ainbheartach ar fad, tá a gcaint seafóideach. Ach níl a fhearg síothlaithe, tá a lámh sínte amach i gcónaí.
17 Por tanto, el Señor no tomará contentamiento en sus mancebos, ni de sus huérfanos y viudas tendrá misericordia: porque todos son falsos y malignos, y toda boca habla despropósitos. Con todo esto no ha cesado su furor, antes todavía su mano extendida.
17 Darum kann sich der HERR über die junge Mannschaft nicht freuen noch ihrer Waisen und Witwen erbarmen; denn sie sind allzumal Heuchler und böse, und aller Mund redet Torheit. In dem allem läßt sein Zorn noch nicht ab; seine Hand ist noch ausgereckt.
18 For evil was burning like a fire; the blackberries and thorns were burned up; the thick woods took fire, rolling up in dark clouds of smoke.
18 (9:17) Car la méchanceté consume comme un feu, Qui dévore ronces et épines; Il embrase l'épaisseur de la forêt, D'où s'élèvent des colonnes de fumée.
18 Is ea, loisceann an urchóid mar bheadh tine ann; alpann sé driseacha agus sceacha, ansin cuireann sé tine le mothair na foraoise agus téann an deatach in airde ina ghuairneáin.
18 Porque la maldad se encendió como fuego, cardos y espinas devorará; y encenderáse en lo espeso de la breña, y serán alzados como humo.
18 Denn das gottlose Wesen ist angezündet wie Feuer und verzehrt Dornen und Hecken und brennt wie im dicken Wald und gibt hohen Rauch.
19 The land was dark with the wrath of the Lord of armies: the people were like those who take men's flesh for food.
19 (9:18) Par la colère de l'Éternel des armées le pays est embrasé, Et le peuple est comme la proie du feu; Nul n'épargne son frère.
19 Fearg Thiarna na Slua is í chuir an tír trí thine, agus is cuma nó breosla an pobal. Níl duine acu a thugann anacal dá bhráthair,
19 Por la ira de Jehová de los ejércitos se oscureció la tierra, y será el pueblo como pábulo del fuego: el hombre no tendrá piedad de su hermano.
19 Im Zorn des HERRN Zebaoth ist das Land verfinstert, daß das Volk ist wie Speise des Feuers; keiner schont des andern.
20 On the right a man was cutting off bits and was still in need; on the left a man took a meal but had not enough; no man had pity on his brother; every man was making a meal of the flesh of his neighbour.
20 (9:19) On pille à droite, et l'on a faim; On dévore à gauche, et l'on n'est pas rassasié; Chacun dévore la chair de son bras.
20 Gearrann siad ar dheis, agus tá ocras orthu fós; slogann siad ar chlé, agus níl siad sásaithe, gach aon ag alpadh feoil a chomharsan.
20 Cada uno hurtará á la mano derecha, y tendrá hambre; y comerá á la izquierda, y no se hartará: cada cual comerá la carne de su brazo:
20 Rauben sie zur Rechten, so leiden sie Hunger; essen sie zur Linken, so werden sie nicht satt. Ein jeglicher frißt das Fleisch seines Arms:
21 Manasseh was making a meal of Ephraim, and Ephraim of Manasseh; and together they were attacking Judah. For all this his wrath is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
21 (9:20) Manassé dévore Éphraïm, Éphraïm Manassé, Et ensemble ils fondent sur Juda. Malgré tout cela, sa colère ne s'apaise point, Et sa main est encore étendue.
