1 Now it came about in the days of Ahaz, the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin, the king of Aram, and Pekah, the son of Remaliah, the king of Israel, came up to Jerusalem to make war against it, but were not able to overcome it.
1 Il arriva, du temps d'Achaz, fils de Jotham, fils d'Ozias, roi de Juda, que Retsin, roi de Syrie, monta avec Pékach, fils de Remalia, roi d'Israël, contre Jérusalem, pour l'assiéger; mais il ne put l'assiéger.
1 Agus tharla in aimsir Áchaz, mac Iótám, mac Uiziá, rí Iúdá, go ndeachaigh Reizín, rí Arám, mar aon le Peacach, mac Ramailiá rí Iosrael, suas go Iarúsailéim lena hionsaí, ach níor éirigh leis a gabháil.
1 ACONTECIO en los días de Achâz hijo de Jotham, hijo de Uzzías, rey de Judá, que Rezín rey de Siria, y Peca hijo de Remalías, rey de Israel, subieron á Jerusalem para combatirla; mas no la pudieron tomar.
1 Es begab sich zur Zeit Ahas, des Sohnes Jothams, des Sohnes Usias, des Königs in Juda, zog herauf Rezin der König von Syrien, und Pekah, der Sohn Remaljas, der König Israels, gen Jerusalem, gegen dasselbe zu streiten, konnten es aber nicht gewinnen.
2 And word came to the family of David that Aram had put up its tents in Ephraim. And the king's heart, and the hearts of his people, were moved, like the trees of the wood shaking in the wind.
2 On vint dire à la maison de David: Les Syriens sont campés en Éphraïm. Et le coeur d'Achaz et le coeur de son peuple furent agités, comme les arbres de la forêt sont agités par le vent.
2 Tugadh an scéala seo chuig teaghlach Dháiví: “Tá Arám tar éis dul isteach in Eafráim.” Agus tháinig crith ar chroí an rí agus ar chroí an phobail mar a thagann ar chrainn na coille roimh an ghaoth.
2 Y vino la nueva á la casa de David, diciendo: Siria se ha confederado con Ephraim. Y estremeciósele el corazón, y el corazón de su pueblo, como se estremecen los árboles del monte á causa del viento.
2 Da ward dem Hause David angesagt: Die Syrer haben sich gelagert in Ephraim. Da bebte ihm das Herz und das Herz seines Volkes, wie die Bäume im Walde beben vom Winde.
3 Then the Lord said to Isaiah, Go out now, you and Shear-jashub, your son, and you will come across Ahaz at the end of the stream flowing from the higher pool, in the highway of the washerman's field;
3 Alors l'Éternel dit à Ésaïe: Va à la rencontre d'Achaz, toi et Schear Jaschub, ton fils, vers l'extrémité de l'aqueduc de l'étang supérieur, sur la route du champ du foulon.
3 Agus dúirt an Tiarna le hÍseáia: “Seo, gabhaigí in airicis Áchaz, tú féin agus do mhac Seár Iáisiúb, go bun chlais na Linne Uachtair, go bealach Pháirc an Úcaire,
3 Entonces dijo Jehová á Isaías: Sal ahora al encuentro de Achâz, tú, y Sear-jasub tu hijo, al cabo del conducto de la Pesquera de arriba, en el camino de la heredad del Lavador,
3 Aber der HERR sprach zu Jesaja: Gehe hinaus, Ahas entgegen, du und dein Sohn Sear-Jasub, an das Ende der Wasserleitung des oberen Teiches, am Wege beim Acker des Walkmüllers,
4 And say to him, Take care and be quiet; have no fear, and do not let your heart be feeble, because of these two ends of smoking fire-wood, because of the bitter wrath of Rezin and Aram, and of the son of Remaliah.
4 Et dis-lui: Sois tranquille, ne crains rien, Et que ton coeur ne s'alarme pas, Devant ces deux bouts de tisons fumants, Devant la colère de Retsin et de la Syrie, et du fils de Remalia,
4 agus déarfaidh tú leis: Aire dhuit, ná bíodh imní ort, ná eagla; ná bíodh do chroí anbhann, de bharr an dá ghal soip úd,
4 Y dile: Guarda, y repósate; no temas, ni se enternezca tu corazón á causa de estos dos cabos de tizón que humean, por el furor de la ira de Rezín y del Siro, y del hijo de Remalías.
4 und sprich zu ihm: Hüte dich und sei still; fürchte dich nicht, und dein Herz sei unverzagt vor diesen zwei rauchenden Löschbränden, vor dem Zorn Rezins und der Syrer und des Sohnes Remaljas,
5 Because Aram has made evil designs against you, saying,
5 De ce que la Syrie médite du mal contre toi, De ce qu'Éphraïm et le fils de Remalia disent:
5 as siocair Arám, Eafráim agus mac Ramailiá, a bheith ag beartú thú a mhilleadh, á rá:
5 Por haber acordado maligno consejo contra ti el Siro, con Ephraim y con el hijo de Remalías, diciendo:
5 daß die Syrer wider dich einen bösen Ratschlag gemacht haben samt Ephraim und dem Sohn Remaljas und sagen:
6 Let us go up against Judah, troubling her, and forcing our way into her, and let us put up a king in her, even the son of Tabeel:
6 Montons contre Juda, assiégeons la ville, Et battons-la en brèche, Et proclamons-y pour roi le fils de Tabeel.
6 Téimis suas in éadan Iúdá chun scéin a chur ann agus chun a ghabháil dúinn féin, agus déanfaimid rí ann de mhac Thaibéal.’
6 Vamos contra Judá, y la despertaremos, y la partiremos entre nosotros, y pondremos en medio de ella por rey al hijo de Tabeel:
6 Wir wollen hinauf nach Juda und es erschrecken und hineinbrechen und zum König darin machen den Sohn Tabeels.
7 This is the word of the Lord God: This design will not come about or be effected.
7 Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Cela n'arrivera pas, cela n'aura pas lieu.
7 Mar seo a deir an Tiarna Dia: ‘Ní tharlóidh, ní mar sin a bheidh.
7 El Señor Jehová dice así: No subsistirá, ni será.
7 Denn also spricht der HERR HERR: Es soll nicht bestehen noch also gehen;
8 For the head of Aram is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin (and in sixty-five years from now Ephraim will be broken, and will no longer be a people):
8 Car Damas est la tête de la Syrie, Et Retsin est la tête de Damas. (Encore soixante-cinq ans, Éphraïm ne sera plus un peuple.)
8 Is í an Damaisc ceann Arám, agus Reizín, ceann na Damaisce; Ach i gcionn a sé, ní hea, i gcionn a cúig de bhlianta, beidh Arám scriosta, agus Eafráim caite síos,
8 Porque la cabeza de Siria es Damasco, y la cabeza de Damasco, Rezín: y dentro de sesenta y cinco años Ephraim será quebrantado hasta dejar de ser pueblo.
8 sondern wie Damaskus das Haupt ist in Syrien, so soll Rezin das Haupt zu Damaskus sein. Und über fünfundsechzig Jahre soll es mit Ephraim aus sein, daß sie nicht mehr ein Volk seien.
9 And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If you will not have faith, your kingdom will be broken.
9 La Samarie est la tête d'Éphraïm, Et le fils de Remalia est la tête de la Samarie. Si vous ne croyez pas, Vous ne subsisterez pas.
9 is í an tSamáir ceann Eafráim, agus mac Ramailiá ceann na Samáire. Ach mura seasann sibhse liomsa, níl seasamh i ndán daoibh.’ ” An Dara Rabhadh: Comhartha Ímeánuéil
9 Entretanto la cabeza de Ephraim es Samaria, y la cabeza de Samaria el hijo de Remalías. Si vosotros no creyereis, de cierto no permaneceréis.
9 Und wie Samaria das Haupt ist in Ephraim, so soll der Sohn Remaljas das Haupt zu Samaria sein. Gläubt ihr nicht so bleibt ihr nicht.
10 And Isaiah said again to Ahaz,
10 L'Éternel parla de nouveau à Achaz, et lui dit:
10 Agus labhair an Tiarna le hÁchaz arís agus dúirt:
10 Y habló más Jehová á Achâz, diciendo:
10 Und der HERR redete abermals zu Ahas und sprach:
11 Make a request to the Lord your God for a sign, a sign in the deep places of the underworld, or in the high heavens.
11 Demande en ta faveur un signe à l'Éternel, ton Dieu; demande-le, soit dans les lieux bas, soit dans les lieux élevés.
11 “Iarr comhartha duit féin ar an Tiarna do Dhia, as duibheagáin Sheól aníos nó thuas in arda na spéartha.”
11 Pide para ti señal de Jehová tu Dios, demandándola en lo profundo, ó arriba en lo alto.
11 Fordere dir ein Zeichen vom HERRN, deinem Gott, es sei unten in der Hölle oder droben in der Höhe!
12 But Ahaz said, I will not put the Lord to the test by making such a request.
12 Achaz répondit: Je ne demanderai rien, je ne tenterai pas l'Éternel.
12 D'fhreagair Áchaz: “Ní iarrfaidh, níl mé chun dúshlán an Tiarna a thabhairt.”
12 Y respondió Achâz: No pediré, y no tentaré á Jehová.
12 Aber Ahas sprach: Ich will's nicht fordern, daß ich den HERRN nicht versuche.
13 And he said, Give ear now, O family of David: is it not enough that you are driving men to disgust? will you do the same to my God?
13 Ésaïe dit alors: Écoutez donc, maison de David! Est-ce trop peu pour vous de lasser la patience des hommes, Que vous lassiez encore celle de mon Dieu?
13 Ansin dúirt sé: “Éistigí mar sin, a theaghlach Dháiví, an é nach beag daoibh sárú ar dhaoine go gcaithfidh sibh mo Dhia a shárú ina theannta sin?
13 Dijo entonces Isaías: Oid ahora casa de David. ¿Os es poco el ser molestos á los hombres, sino que también lo seáis á mi Dios?
13 Da sprach er: Wohlan, so höret, ihr vom Hause David: Ist's euch zu wenig, daß ihr die Leute beleidigt, ihr müßt auch meinen Gott beleidigen?
14 For this cause the Lord himself will give you a sign; a young woman is now with child, and she will give birth to a son, and she will give him the name Immanuel.
14 C'est pourquoi le Seigneur lui-même vous donnera un signe, Voici, la jeune fille deviendra enceinte, elle enfantera un fils, Et elle lui donnera le nom d'Emmanuel.
14 Is é an Tiarna féin mar sin a thabharfaidh comhartha daoibh. Seo, tá an ógbhean ag iompar agus ar tí mac a shaolú, agus tabharfaidh sí Ímeánuéil mar ainm air.
14 Por tanto el mismo Señor os dará señal: He aquí que la virgen concebirá, y parirá hijo, y llamará su nombre Emmanuel.
14 Darum so wird euch der HERR selbst ein Zeichen geben: Siehe, eine Jungfrau ist schwanger und wird einen Sohn gebären, den wird sie heißen Immanuel.
15 Butter and honey will be his food, when he is old enough to make a decision between evil and good.
15 Il mangera de la crème et du miel, Jusqu'à ce qu'il sache rejeter le mal et choisir le bien.
15 Bleacht agus mil a chothóidh é go dtí go mbeidh a fhios aige diúltú don olc agus an mhaith a roghnú.
15 Comerá manteca y miel, para que sepa desechar lo malo y escoger lo bueno.
15 Butter und Honig wird er essen, wann er weiß, Böses zu verwerfen und Gutes zu erwählen.
16 For before the child is old enough to make a decision between evil and good, the land whose two kings you are now fearing will have become waste.
16 Mais avant que l'enfant sache rejeter le mal et choisir le bien, Le pays dont tu crains les deux rois sera abandonné.
16 Óir sula mbeidh fhios ag an bpáiste seo diúltú don olc agus an mhaith a roghnú, beidh an tír úd ina díthreabh, agus eagla ortsa anois roimh a beirt rí.
16 Porque antes que el niño sepa desechar lo malo y escoger lo bueno, la tierra que tú aborreces será dejada de sus dos reyes.
16 Denn ehe der Knabe lernt Böses verwerfen und Gutes erwählen, wird das Land verödet sein, vor dessen zwei Königen dir graut.
17 The Lord is about to send on you, and on your people, and on your father's house, such a time of trouble as there has not been from the days of the separating of Ephraim from Judah; even the coming of the king of Assyria.
17 L'Éternel fera venir sur toi, Sur ton peuple et sur la maison de ton père, Des jours tels qu'il n'y en a point eu Depuis le jour où Éphraïm s'est séparé de Juda (Le roi d'Assyrie.)
17 Tabharfaidh an Tiarna ort féin agus ar do phobal agus ar theaghlach d'athar laethe nár tháinig a leithéid ón am a scar Eafráim le Iúdá [rí na hAsaíre].
17 Jehová hará venir sobre ti, y sobre tu pueblo, y sobre la casa de tu padre, días cuales nunca vinieron desde el día que Ephraim se apartó de Judá, es á saber, al rey de Asiria.
17 Aber der HERR wird über dich, über dein Volk und über deines Vaters Haus Tage kommen lassen, die nicht gekommen sind, seit der Zeit, da Ephraim von Juda geschieden ist, durch den König von Assyrien.
18 And it will be in that day that the Lord will make a piping sound for the fly which is in the end of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee which is in the land of Assyria.
18 En ce jour-là, l'Éternel sifflera les mouches Qui sont à l'extrémité des canaux de l'Égypte, Et les abeilles qui sont au pays d'Assyrie;
18 Sa lá sin, ligfidh an Tiarna fead ar na mioltóga as bun abhann na hÉigipte, agus ar na beacha ó thír na hAsaíre,
18 Y acontecerá que aquel día silbará Jehová á la mosca que está en el fin de los ríos de Egipto, y á la abeja que está en la tierra de Asiria.
18 Denn zu der Zeit wird der HERR zischen der Fliege am Ende der Wasser in Ägypten und der Biene im Lande Assur,
19 And they will come, covering all the waste valleys, and the holes of the rocks, and the thorns, and all the watering-places.
19 Elles viendront, et se poseront toutes dans les vallons désolés, Et dans les fentes des rochers, Sur tous les buissons, Et sur tous les pâturages.
19 chun go dtiocfaidís go léir a thuirling ar na haltáin chrochta agus ar scailpeacha na gcarraigeacha, ar sceacha agus ar thalamh féaraigh.
19 Y vendrán, y se asentarán todos en los valles desiertos, y en las cavernas de las piedras, y en todos los zarzales, y en todas las matas.
19 daß sie kommen und alle sich legen an die trockenen Bäche und in die Steinklüfte und in alle Hecken und in alle Büsche.
20 In that day will the Lord take away the hair of the head and of the feet, as well as the hair of the face, with a blade got for a price from the other side of the River; even with the king of Assyria.
20 En ce jour-là, le Seigneur rasera, avec un rasoir pris à louage Au delà du fleuve, Avec le roi d'Assyrie, La tête et le poil des pieds; Il enlèvera aussi la barbe.
20 Sa lá sin, beidh an Tiarna ag bearradh le rásúr a fruilíodh taobh thall den Abhainn [rí na hAsaíre]; an ceann agus fionnadh an choirp, go fiú an fhéasóg is ea lomfaidh sé.
20 En aquel día raerá el Señor con navaja alquilada, con los que habitan de la otra parte del río, á saber, con el rey de Asiria, cabeza y pelos de los pies; y aun la barba también quitará.
20 Zu derselben Zeit wird der HERR das Haupt und die Haare an den Füßen abscheren und den Bart abnehmen durch ein gemietetes Schermesser, nämlich durch die, so jenseit des Stromes sind, durch den König von Assyrien.
21 And it will be in that day that a man will give food to a young cow and two sheep;
21 En ce jour-là, Chacun entretiendra une jeune vache et deux brebis;
21 Sa lá sin, tógfaidh gach duine aon bhó amháin agus dhá chaora,
21 Y acontecerá en aquel tiempo, que críe un hombre una vaca y dos ovejas;
21 Zu derselben Zeit wird ein Mann eine junge Kuh und zwei Schafe ziehen
22 And they will give so much milk that he will be able to have butter for his food: for butter and honey will be the food of all who are still living in the land.
22 Et il y aura une telle abondance de lait Qu'on mangera de la crème, Car c'est de crème et de miel que se nourriront Tous ceux qui seront restés dans le pays.
22 agus de bharr flúirseacht an táil, bia bleachta agus mil a chothóidh a bhfuil fágtha sa tír.
22 Y será que á causa de la abundancia de leche que darán, comerá manteca: cierto manteca y miel comerá el que quedare en medio de la tierra.
22 und wird so viel zu melken haben, daß er Butter essen wird; denn Butter und Honig wird essen, wer übrig im Lande bleiben wird.
23 And it will be in that day that in every place where before there were a thousand vines valued at a thousand shekels of silver, there will be nothing but blackberries and thorns.
23 En ce jour-là, Tout lieu qui contiendra mille ceps de vigne, Valant mille sicles d'argent, Sera livré aux ronces et aux épines:
23 Sa lá sin, gach áit a bhfuil míle fíniúin, arbh fhiú míle píosa airgid iad, ní bheidh ann ach driseacha agus sceacha.
23 Acontecerá también en aquel tiempo, que el lugar donde había mil vides que valían mil siclos de plata, será para los espinos y cardos.
23 Denn es wird jetzt zu der Zeit geschehen, daß wo jetzt tausend Weinstöcke stehen, tausend Silberlinge wert, da werden Dornen und Hecken sein,
24 Men will come there with bows and arrows, because all the land will be full of blackberries and thorns.
24 On y entrera avec les flèches et avec l'arc, Car tout le pays ne sera que ronces et épines.
24 Beidh gá le bogha agus le saigheada ag dul isteach ann, óir driseacha agus sceacha a bheidh sa talamh ar fad.
24 Con saetas y arco irán allá; porque toda la tierra será espinos y cardos.
24 daß man mit Pfeilen und Bogen dahingehen muß. Denn im ganzen Lande werden Dornen und Hecken sein,
25 And they will send out the oxen and the sheep on all the hills which before were worked with the spade, ... fear of blackberries and thorns.
25 Et toutes les montagnes que l'on cultivait avec la bêche Ne seront plus fréquentées, par crainte des ronces et des épines: On y lâchera le boeuf, et la brebis en foulera le sol.
