Psalms 124

1 A Song of the going up. Those whose hope is in the Lord are like the mountain of Zion, which may not be moved, but keeps its place for ever.

1 Cantique des degrés. Ceux qui se confient en l'Éternel Sont comme la montagne de Sion: elle ne chancelle point, Elle est affermie pour toujours.

1 LOS que confían en Jehová Son como el monte de Sión que no deslizará: estará para siempre.

1 (Ein Lied im Höhern Chor.) Die auf den HERRN hoffen, die werden nicht fallen, sondern ewig bleiben wie der Berg Zion.

2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people, from this time and for ever.

2 Des montagnes entourent Jérusalem; Ainsi l'Éternel entoure son peuple, Dès maintenant et à jamais.

3 For the rod of sinners will not be resting on the heritage of the upright; so that the upright may not put out their hands to evil.

3 Car le sceptre de la méchanceté ne restera pas sur le lot des justes, Afin que les justes ne tendent pas les mains vers l'iniquité.

3 Óir ní fhanfaidh ríshlat na n‑éagráifeach ar fhearann na bhfíréan, sula ndéanfadh na fíréin a lámha a iompú chun oilc.

3 Porque no reposará la vara de la impiedad sobre la suerte de los justos; Porque no extiendan los justos sus manos á la iniquidad.

3 Denn der Gottlosen Zepter wird nicht bleiben über dem Häuflein der Gerechten, auf daß die Gerechten ihre Hand nicht ausstrecken zur Ungerechtigkeit.

4 Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in heart.

4 Éternel, répands tes bienfaits sur les bons Et sur ceux dont le coeur est droit!

4 Déan maith, a Thiarna, do dhaoine fónta, agus do lucht an chroí dhírigh.

4 Haz bien, oh Jehová, á los buenos, Y á los que son rectos en sus corazones.

4 HERR, tue wohl den guten und frommen Herzen!

5 But as for such as are turned out of the straight way, the Lord will take them away with the workers of evil. Let peace be on Israel.

5 Mais ceux qui s'engagent dans des voies détournées, Que l'Éternel les détruise avec ceux qui font le mal! Que la paix soit sur Israël!

5 Ach cuir an ruaig ar lucht na camastaíola is ar lucht déanta an oilc. Síocháin go raibh ar Iosrael.

5 Mas á los que se apartan tras sus perversidades, Jehová los llevará con los que obran iniquidad: Y paz sea sobre Israel.

5 Die aber abweichen auf ihre krummen Wege, wird der HERR wegtreiben mit den Übeltätern. Friede sei über Israel!
