34 They did not put an end to the peoples, as the Lord had said;

36 And they gave worship to images; which were a danger to them:

37 They even made offerings of their sons and their daughters to evil spirits,
37 Ils sacrifièrent leurs fils Et leurs filles aux idoles,

37 Y sacrificaron sus hijos y sus hijas á los demonios;
37 Und sie opferten ihre Söhne und ihre Töchter den Teufeln
38 And gave the blood of their sons and their daughters who had done no wrong, offering them to the images of Canaan; and the land was made unclean with blood.
38 Ils répandirent le sang innocent, Le sang de leurs fils et de leurs filles, Qu'ils sacrifièrent aux idoles de Canaan, Et le pays fut profané par des meurtres.

38 Y derramaron la sangre inocente, la sangre de sus hijos y de sus hijas, Que sacrificaron á los ídolos de Canaán: Y la tierra fué contaminada con sangre.
38 und vergossen unschuldig Blut, das Blut ihrer Söhne und ihrer Töchter, die sie opferten den Götzen Kanaans, daß das Land mit Blutschulden befleckt ward;
39 So they became unclean through their works, going after their evil desires.
39 Ils se souillèrent par leurs oeuvres, Ils se prostituèrent par leurs actions.

39 Contamináronse así con sus obras, Y fornicaron con sus hechos.
39 und verunreinigten sich mit ihren Werken und wurden abgöttisch mit ihrem Tun.
40 Then the wrath of the Lord was burning against his people, and he was angry with his heritage.
40 La colère de l'Éternel s'enflamma contre son peuple, Et il prit en horreur son héritage.
40 Bhladhm fraoch Dé in aghaidh a phobail; ghlac sé déistin lena oidhreacht féin.
40 Encendióse por tanto el furor de Jehová sobre su pueblo, Y abominó su heredad:
40 Da ergrimmte der Zorn des HERRN über sein Volk, und er gewann einen Greuel an seinem Erbe
41 And he gave them into the hands of the nations; and they were ruled by their haters.
41 Il les livra entre les mains des nations; Ceux qui les haïssaient dominèrent sur eux;
41 Thug sé faoi smacht na náisiún iad, agus chuir lucht a bhfuatha faoi chois iad.
41 Y entrególos en poder de las gentes, Y enseñoreáronse de ellos los que los aborrecían.
41 und gab sie in die Hände der Heiden, daß über sie herrschten, die ihnen gram waren.
42 By them they were crushed, and made low under their hands.

43 Again and again he made them free; but their hearts were turned against his purpose, and they were overcome by their sins.

43 Muchas veces los libró; Mas ellos se rebelaron á su consejo, Y fueron humillados por su maldad.

44 But when their cry came to his ears, he had pity on their trouble:

45 And kept in mind his agreement with them, and in his great mercy gave them forgiveness.

45 Y acordábase de su pacto con ellos, Y arrepentíase conforme á la muchedumbre de sus miseraciones.
45 und gedachte an seinen Bund, den er mit ihnen gemacht hatte; und es reute ihn nach seiner großen Güte,
46 He put pity into the hearts of those who made them prisoners.
46 Il eut pitié selon sa grande bonté, Et il excita pour eux la compassion De tous ceux qui les retenaient captifs.

46 Hizo asimismo tuviesen de ellos misericordia todos los que los tenían cautivos.
46 und er ließ sie zur Barmherzigkeit kommen vor allen, die sie gefangen hatten.
47 Be our saviour, O Lord our God, and let us come back together from among the nations, so that we may give honour to your holy name, and have glory in your praise.
47 Sauve-nous, Éternel, notre Dieu! Et rassemble-nous du milieu des nations, Afin que nous célébrions ton saint nom, Et que nous mettions notre gloire à te louer!
47 Tarrthaigh sinn, a Thiarna, ár nDia; bailigh le chéile sinn as measc na náisiún go dtugaimis buíochas do d'ainm naofa, is go ndéanaimis do mholadh a chanadh.
47 Sálvanos, Jehová Dios nuestro, Y júntanos de entre las gentes, Para que loemos tu santo nombre, Para que nos gloriemos en tus alabanzas.
47 Hilf uns, HERR, unser Gott, und bringe uns zusammen aus den Heiden, daß wir danken deinem heiligen Namen und rühmen dein Lob.
48 Praise be to the Lord God of Israel for ever and for ever; and let all the people say, So be it. Give praise to the Lord.
48 Béni soit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, d'éternité en éternité! Et que tout le peuple dise: Amen! Louez l'Éternel!
