1 Truly, God is good to Israel, even to such as are clean in heart.

2 But as for me, my feet had almost gone from under me; I was near to slipping;

4 For they have no pain; their bodies are fat and strong.
4 Rien ne les tourmente jusqu'à leur mort, Et leur corps est chargé d'embonpoint;

6 For this reason pride is round them like a chain; they are clothed with violent behaviour as with a robe.

8 Ils raillent, et parlent méchamment d'opprimer; Ils profèrent des discours hautains,

10 Por eso su pueblo vuelve aquí, Y aguas de lleno le son exprimidas.
10 Darum fällt ihnen ihr Pöbel zu und laufen ihnen zu mit Haufen wie Wasser
11 And they say, How will the Lord see this? is there knowledge in the Most High?
11 Et il dit: Comment Dieu saurait-il, Comment le Très haut connaîtrait-il?

11 Y dicen: ¿Cómo sabe Dios? ¿Y hay conocimiento en lo alto?

12 Truly, such are the sinners; they do well at all times, and their wealth is increased.
12 Ainsi sont les méchants: Toujours heureux, ils accroissent leurs richesses.

12 He aquí estos impíos, Sin ser turbados del mundo, alcanzaron riquezas.
12 Siehe, das sind die Gottlosen; die sind glücklich in der Welt und werden reich.
13 As for me, I have made my heart clean to no purpose, washing my hands in righteousness;
13 C'est donc en vain que j'ai purifié mon coeur, Et que j'ai lavé mes mains dans l'innocence:

14 For I have been troubled all the day; every morning have I undergone punishment.

27 For those who are far away from you will come to destruction: you will put an end to all those who have not kept faith with you.
27 Car voici, ceux qui s'éloignent de toi périssent; Tu anéantis tous ceux qui te sont infidèles.

28 But it is good for me to come near to God: I have put my faith in the Lord God, so that I may make clear all his works.
28 Pour moi, m'approcher de Dieu, c'est mon bien: Je place mon refuge dans le Seigneur, l'Éternel, Afin de raconter toutes tes oeuvres.
