1 To the chief music-maker. After Jeduthun. A Psalm. Of David.My soul, put all your faith in God; for from him comes my salvation.
1 (62:1) Au chef des chantres. D'après Jeduthun. Psaume de David. (62:2) Oui, c'est en Dieu que mon âme se confie; De lui vient mon salut.
1 Don stiúrthóir. Dé réir Iduthun. Salm [le] Dáiví. I nDia amháin atá m'anam ar a shuaimhneas; is uaidh a thagann mo chúnamh.
1 EN Dios solamente está callada mi alma: De él viene mi salud.

2 He only is my Rock and my salvation; he is my high tower; I will not be greatly moved.
2 (62:3) Oui, c'est lui qui est mon rocher et mon salut; Ma haute retraite: je ne chancellerai guère.
2 Is é mo charraig é, mo shlánú agus mo dhaingean; ní dhéanfar mo bhogadh.
2 El solamente es mi fuerte, y mi salud; Es mi refugio, no resbalaré mucho.
2 Denn er ist mein Hort, meine Hilfe, meine Schutz, daß mich kein Fall stürzen wird, wie groß er ist.
3 How long will you go on designing evil against a man? running against him as against a broken wall, which is on the point of falling?
3 (62:4) Jusqu'à quand vous jetterez-vous sur un homme, Chercherez-vous tous à l'abattre, Comme une muraille qui penche, Comme une clôture qu'on renverse?
3 Cá fhad a thabharfaidh sibh faoi dhuine, sibh go léir d'fhonn a bhriste, mar dhúmas gur bhalla fíorsceabhach é, nó fál ar tí titim?
3 ¿Hasta cuándo maquinaréis contra un hombre? Pereceréis todos vosotros, Caeréis como pared acostada, como cerca ruinosa.
3 Wie lange stellt ihr alle einem nach, daß ihr ihn erwürget-als eine hängende Wand und zerrissene Mauer?
4 Their only thought is to put him down from his place of honour; their delight is in deceit: blessing is in their mouths but cursing in their hearts. (Selah.)
4 (62:5) Ils conspirent pour le précipiter de son poste élevé; Ils prennent plaisir au mensonge; Ils bénissent de leur bouche, Et ils maudissent dans leur coeur. -Pause.
4 Beartaíonn siad ar mo leagan ar lár; is áil leo an t‑éitheach. Bíonn an bheannacht ina mbéal de shíor agus an mhallacht ina gcroí. Selah
4 Solamente consultan de arrojarle de su grandeza; Aman la mentira, Con su boca bendicen, pero maldicen en sus entrañas. (Selah.)
4 Sie denken nur, wie sie ihn dämpfen, fleißigen sich der Lüge; geben gute Worte, aber im Herzen fluchen sie. (Sela.)
5 My soul, put all your faith in God; for from him comes my hope.
5 (62:6) Oui, mon âme, confie-toi en Dieu! Car de lui vient mon espérance.
5 Bí ar do shuaimhneas i nDia amháin, a anam liom, óir is ann atá mo dhóchas.
5 Alma mía, en Dios solamente reposa; Porque de él es mi esperanza.
5 Aber sei nur stille zu Gott, meine Seele; denn er ist meine Hoffnung.
6 He only is my Rock and my salvation; he is my high tower; I will not be greatly moved.
6 (62:7) Oui, c'est lui qui est mon rocher et mon salut; Ma haute retraite: je ne chancellerai pas.

7 In God is my salvation, and my glory; the Rock of my strength, and my safe place.
7 (62:8) Sur Dieu reposent mon salut et ma gloire; Le rocher de ma force, mon refuge, est en Dieu.
7 Is i nDia atá mo shlánú is mo ghlóir; is carraig chumhachtach agus díon dom é.
7 En Dios está mi salvación y mi gloria: En Dios está la roca de mi fortaleza, y mi refugio.
7 Bei Gott ist mein Heil, meine Ehre, der Fels meiner Stärke; meine Zuversicht ist auf Gott.
8 Have faith in him at all times, you people; let your hearts go flowing out before him: God is our safe place. (Selah.)
8 (62:9) En tout temps, peuples, confiez-vous en lui, Répandez vos coeurs en sa présence! Dieu est notre refuge, -Pause.
8 Cuirigí bhur ndóchas ann i gcónaí, a phobal; ligigí rún bhur gcroí leis. Is é Dia ár ndídean. Selah
8 Esperad en él en todo tiempo, oh pueblos; Derramad delante de él vuestro corazón: Dios es nuestro amparo. (Selah.)
8 Hoffet auf ihn allezeit, liebe Leute, schüttet euer Herz vor ihm aus; Gott ist unsre Zuversicht. (Sela.)
9 Truly men of low birth are nothing, and men of high position are not what they seem; if they are put in the scales together they are less than a breath.
9 (62:10) Oui, vanité, les fils de l'homme! Mensonge, les fils de l'homme! Dans une balance ils monteraient Tous ensemble, plus légers qu'un souffle.
9 Níl san Ádhamhchlann ach puth anála, níl sna huaisle ach bréag; nuair a dhéantar a meá is éadroime iad uile ná an phuth anála féin.
9 Por cierto, vanidad son los hijos de los hombres, mentira los hijos de varón: Pesándolos á todos igualmente en la balanza, Serán menos que la vanidad.
9 Aber Menschen sind ja nichts, große Leute fehlen auch; sie wiegen weniger denn nichts, so viel ihrer ist.
10 Have no faith in the rewards of evil-doing, or in profits wrongly made: if your wealth is increased, do not put your hopes on it.
10 (62:11) Ne vous confiez pas dans la violence, Et ne mettez pas un vain espoir dans la rapine; Quand les richesses s'accroissent, N'y attachez pas votre coeur.
10 Ná bíodh bhur ndóchas san ansmacht ná bhur maíomh san fhoghail. Má dhéantar bhur maoin a mhéadú ná santaigí in bhur gcroí í.
10 No confiéis en la violencia, Ni en la rapiña; no os envanezcáis: Si se aumentare la hacienda, no pongáis el corazón en ella.
10 Verlasset euch nicht auf Unrecht und Frevel, haltet euch nicht zu solchem, das eitel ist; fällt euch Reichtum zu, so hänget das Herz nicht daran.
11 Once has God said, twice has it come to my ears, that power is God's:
11 (62:12) Dieu a parlé une fois; Deux fois j'ai entendu ceci: C'est que la force est à Dieu.
11 Aon uair amháin a labhair Dia, dhá ní a chuala mé; gur le Dia an chumhacht, a Thiarna,
11 Una vez habló Dios; Dos veces he oído esto: Que de Dios es la fortaleza.
11 Gott hat ein Wort geredet, das habe ich etlichemal gehört: daß Gott allein mächtig ist.
12 And mercy, O Lord, is yours, for you give to every man the reward of his work.
12 (62:13) A toi aussi, Seigneur! la bonté; Car tu rends à chacun selon ses oeuvres.
