1 Now on the third day, Esther put on her queen's robes, and took her place in the inner room of the king's house, facing the king's house: and the king was seated on his high seat in the king's house, facing the doorway of the house.
1 Le troisième jour, Esther mit ses vêtements royaux et se présenta dans la cour intérieure de la maison du roi, devant la maison du roi. Le roi était assis sur son trône royal dans la maison royale, en face de l'entrée de la maison.
1 Ar an tríú lá, nuair a scoir sí dá hurnaí, bhain sí di a feisteas troscaidh, agus chóirigh í féin in éidí a glóire. 1 Y ACONTECIO que al tercer día se vistió Esther su vestido real, y púsose en el patio de adentro de la casa del rey, enfrente del aposento del rey: y estaba el rey sentado en su solio regio en el aposento real, enfrente de la puerta del aposento.
1 Und am dritten Tage zog sich Esther königlich an und trat in den inneren Hof am Hause des Königs gegenüber dem Hause des Königs. Und der König saß auf seinem königlichen Stuhl im königlichen Hause, gegenüber der Tür des Hauses.
2 And when the king saw Esther the queen waiting in the inner room, looking kindly on her he put out the rod of gold in his hand to her. So Esther came near and put her fingers on the top of the rod.
2 Lorsque le roi vit la reine Esther debout dans la cour, elle trouva grâce à ses yeux; et le roi tendit à Esther le sceptre d'or qu'il tenait à la main. Esther s'approcha, et toucha le bout du sceptre.
2 Agus d'ardaigh sé an tslat órga agus leag ar a muineál í, agus rug barróg uirthi agus dúirt: “Labhair liom.” “A thiarna,” ar sí, “chonaic mé thú mar a bheadh aingeal Dé ann, agus tháinig scanradh croí orm le heagla roimh do ghlóir. 2 Y fué que, como vió á la reina Esther que estaba en el patio, ella obtuvo gracia en sus ojos; y el rey extendió á Esther el cetro de oro que tenía en la mano. Entonces se llegó Esther, y tocó la punta del cetro.
2 Und da der König sah Esther, die Königin, stehen im Hofe, fand sie Gnade vor seinen Augen. Und der König reckte das goldene Zepter in seiner Hand gegen Esther. Da trat Esther herzu und rührte die Spitze des Zepters an.
3 Then the king said, What is your desire, Queen Esther, and what is your request? I will give it to you, even to the half of my kingdom.
3 Le roi lui dit: Qu'as-tu, reine Esther, et que demandes-tu? Quand ce serait la moitié du royaume, elle te serait donnée.
3 “Cad tá uait, a Eistir,” arsan rí, “agus cén achainí atá agat [orm]? Fiú más é leath mo ríochta féin é, gheobhaidh tú uaim é.”
3 Y dijo el rey: ¿Qué tienes, reina Esther? ¿y cuál es tu petición? Hasta la mitad del reino, se te dará.
3 Da sprach der König zu ihr: Was ist dir, Esther, Königin? und was forderst du? Auch die Hälfte des Königreichs soll dir gegeben werden.
4 And Esther in answer said, If it seems good to the king, let the king and Haman come today to the feast which I have made ready for him.
4 Esther répondit: Si le roi le trouve bon, que le roi vienne aujourd'hui avec Haman au festin que je lui ai préparé.
4 D'fhreagair Eistir: “Lá de mo shaol an lá seo; más toil leis an rí é, dá bhrí sin, tagadh sé féin agus Hámán go dtí an fhleá a ullmhóidh mé inniu.”
4 Y Esther dijo: Si al rey place, venga hoy el rey con Amán al banquete que le he hecho.
4 Esther sprach: Gefällt es dem König, so komme der König und Haman heute zu dem Mahl, das ich zugerichtet habe.
5 Then the king said, Let Haman come quickly, so that what Esther has said may be done. So the king and Haman came to the feast which Esther had made ready.
5 Et le roi dit: Allez tout de suite chercher Haman, comme le désire Esther. Le roi se rendit avec Haman au festin qu'avait préparé Esther.
5 Dúirt an rí: “Tugaigí Hámán anseo go tapa le go ndéanfaimis rud ar Eistir.” Tháinig an rí agus Hámán chun na fleá a d'ullmhaigh Eistir.
5 Y respondió el rey: Daos priesa, llamad á Amán, para hacer lo que Esther ha dicho. Vino pues el rey con Amán al banquete que Esther dispuso.
5 Der König sprach: Eilet, daß Haman tue, was Esther gesagt hat! Da nun der König und Haman zu dem Mahl kamen, das Esther zugerichtet hatte,
6 And while they were drinking wine the king said to Esther, What is your prayer? for it will be given to you and what is your request? for it will be done, even to the half of my kingdom.
6 Et pendant qu'on buvait le vin, le roi dit à Esther: Quelle est ta demande? Elle te sera accordée. Que désires-tu? Quand ce serait la moitié du royaume, tu l'obtiendras.
6 Ag ól an fhíona dóibh, dúirt an rí arís le hEistir: “Inis dom céard atá uait; tabharfaidh mé duit é. Inis dom cén achainí atá agat orm; fiú más é leath mo ríochta é, tabharfar duit é.”
6 Y dijo el rey á Esther en el banquete del vino: ¿Cuál es tu petición, y te será otorgada? ¿Cuál es tu demanda? Aunque sea la mitad del reino, te será concedida.
6 sprach der König zu Esther, da er Wein getrunken hatte: Was bittest du, Esther? Es soll dir gegeben werden. Und was forderst du? Auch die Hälfte des Königreichs, es soll geschehen.
7 Then Esther said in answer, My prayer and my request is this:
7 Esther répondit: Voici ce que je demande et ce que je désire.
7 “Seo é m'iarratas agus m'achainí,” arsa Eistir,
7 Entonces respondió Esther, y dijo: Mi petición y mi demanda es:
7 Da antwortete Esther und sprach: Meine Bitte und Begehr ist:
8 If I have the king's approval, and if it is the king's pleasure to give me my prayer and do my request, let the king and Haman come to the feast which I will make ready for them, and tomorrow I will do as the king has said.
8 Si j'ai trouvé grâce aux yeux du roi, et s'il plaît au roi d'accorder ma demande et de satisfaire mon désir, que le roi vienne avec Haman au festin que je leur préparerai, et demain je donnerai réponse au roi selon son ordre.
8 “má tá gean an rí orm, agus más toil leis an rí m'iarratas a dheonú dom, agus géilleadh do m'achainí, tagadh an rí agus Hámán chugam amárach chun na fleá a leagfaidh mé rompu, agus déanfaidh mé rud air amárach.”
8 Si he hallado gracia en los ojos del rey, y si place al rey otorgar mi petición y hacer mi demanda, que venga el rey con Amán al banquete que les dispondré; y mañana haré conforme á lo que el rey ha mandado.
8 Habe ich Gnade gefunden vor dem König, und so es dem König gefällt mir zu geben eine Bitte und zu tun mein Begehren, so komme der König und Haman zu dem Mahl, das ich für sie zurichten will; so will ich morgen Tun, was der König gesagt hat.
9 Then on that day Haman went out full of joy and glad in heart; but when he saw Mordecai in the king's doorway, and he did not get to his feet or give any sign of fear before him, Haman was full of wrath against Mordecai.
9 Haman sortit ce jour-là, joyeux et le coeur content. Mais lorsqu'il vit, à la porte du roi, Mardochée qui ne se levait ni ne se remuait devant lui, il fut rempli de colère contre Mardochée.
9 D'imigh Hámán amach ón rí an lá sin é go subhach somheanmnach. Ach nuair a chonaic sé Mordacaí ag geata an rí, agus gan é ag éirí ná fiú ag corraí ina láthair, tháinig taom feirge air le Mordacaí.
9 Y salió Amán aquel día contento y alegre de corazón; pero como vió á Mardochêo á la puerta del rey, que no se levantaba ni se movía de su lugar, llenóse contra Mardochêo de ira.
9 Da ging Haman des Tages hinaus fröhlich und gutes Muts. Und da er sah Mardochai im Tor des Königs, daß er nicht aufstand noch sich vor ihm bewegte, ward er voll Zorns über Mardochai.
10 But controlling himself, he went to his house; and he sent for his friends and Zeresh, his wife.
10 Il sut néanmoins se contenir, et il alla chez lui. Puis il envoya chercher ses amis et Zéresch, sa femme.
10 Chuir sé smacht air féin ámh; d'fhill abhaile, agus chuir fios ar a chairde agus ar Zeiris, a bhean chéile;
10 Mas refrenóse Amán, y vino á su casa, y envió, é hizo venir sus amigos, y á Zeres su mujer.
10 Aber er hielt an sich. Und da er heimkam, sandte er hin und ließ holen seine Freunde und sein Weib Seres
11 And he gave them an account of the glories of his wealth, and the number of children he had, and the ways in which he had been honoured by the king, and how he had put him over the captains and servants of the king.
11 Haman leur parla de la magnificence de ses richesses, du nombre de ses fils, de tout ce qu'avait fait le roi pour l'élever en dignité, et du rang qu'il lui avait donné au-dessus des chefs et des serviteurs du roi.
11 chuir Hámán síos dóibh ar a shaibhreas taibhseach agus ar a chlann líonmhar, agus ar gach céim ní ba airde ná a chéile a bhronn an rí air ionas gur thug sé tosaíocht dó ar fhlatha agus ar fheidhmeannaigh eile an rí.
11 Y refirióles Amán la gloria de sus riquezas, y la multitud de sus hijos, y todas las cosas con que el rey le había engrandecido y con que le había ensalzado sobre los príncipes y siervos del rey.
11 und zählte ihnen auf die Herrlichkeit seines Reichtums und die Menge seiner Kinder und alles, wie ihn der König so groß gemacht hätte und daß er über die Fürsten und Knechte des Königs erhoben wäre.
12 And Haman said further, Truly, Esther the queen let no man but myself come in to the feast which she had made ready for the king; and tomorrow again I am to be her guest with the king.
12 Et il ajouta: Je suis même le seul que la reine Esther ait admis avec le roi au festin qu'elle a fait, et je suis encore invité pour demain chez elle avec le roi.
12 “Agus rud eile de,” ar seisean, “níor lig Eistir an bhanríon d'aon fhear eile ach domsa amháin teacht chun na fleá - agus tá cuireadh agam féin agus ag an rí uaithi arís don lá amárach.
12 Y añadió Amán: También la reina Esther á ninguno hizo venir con el rey al banquete que ella dispuso, sino á mí: y aun para mañana soy convidado de ella con el rey.
12 Auch sprach Haman: Und die Königin Esther hat niemand kommen lassen mit dem König zum Mahl, das sie zugerichtet hat, als mich; und ich bin morgen auch zu ihr geladen mit dem König.
13 But all this is nothing to me while I see Mordecai the Jew seated by the king's doorway.
13 Mais tout cela n'est d'aucun prix pour moi aussi longtemps que je verrai Mardochée, le Juif, assis à la porte du roi.
13 Ach cad é sin go léir domsa fad a fheicim Mordacaí an Giúdach ina shuí ag geata an rí.”
13 Mas todo esto nada me sirve cada vez que veo al judío Mardochêo sentado á la puerta del rey.
13 Aber an dem allem habe ich keine Genüge, solange ich sehe den Juden Mardochai am Königstor sitzen.
14 Then his wife Zeresh and all his friends said to him, Let a pillar, fifty cubits high, be made ready for hanging him, and in the morning get the king to give orders for the hanging of Mordecai: then you will be able to go to the feast with the king with a glad heart. And Haman was pleased with the suggestion, and he had the pillar made.
14 Zéresch, sa femme, et tous ses amis lui dirent: Qu'on prépare un bois haut de cinquante coudées, et demain matin demande au roi qu'on y pende Mardochée; puis tu iras joyeux au festin avec le roi. Cet avis plut à Haman, et il fit préparer le bois.
