15 And I made them come together by the river flowing to Ahava; and we were there in tents for three days: and after viewing the people and the priests I saw that no sons of Levi were there.
15 Je les rassemblai près du fleuve qui coule vers Ahava, et nous campâmes là trois jours. Je dirigeai mon attention sur le peuple et sur les sacrificateurs, et je ne trouvai là aucun des fils de Lévi.

15 Und ich versammelte sie ans Wasser, das gen Ahava kommt; und wir bleiben drei Tage daselbst. Und da ich achthatte aufs Volk und die Priester, fand ich keine Leviten daselbst.
16 Then I sent for Eliezer and Ariel and Shemaiah and Elnathan Jarib and Elnathan and Nathan and Zechariah and Meshullam, all responsible men; and for Joiarib and Elnathan, who were wise men.
16 Alors je fis appeler les chefs Éliézer, Ariel, Schemaeja, Elnathan, Jarib, Elnathan, Nathan, Zacharie et Meschullam, et les docteurs Jojarib et Elnathan.

17 And I sent them to Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and gave them orders what to say to Iddo and his brothers the Nethinim at the place Casiphia, so that they might come back to us with men to do the work of the house of our God.
17 Je les envoyai vers le chef Iddo, demeurant à Casiphia, et je mis dans leur bouche ce qu'ils devaient dire à Iddo et à ses frères les Néthiniens qui étaient à Casiphia, afin qu'ils nous amenassent des serviteurs pour la maison de notre Dieu.

17 Y enviélos á Iddo, jefe en el lugar de Casipia, y puse en boca de ellos las palabras que habían de hablar á Iddo, y á sus hermanos los Nethineos en el lugar de Casipia, para que nos trajesen ministros para la casa de nuestro Dios.
17 und sandte sie aus zu Iddo, dem Obersten, gen Kasphia, daß sie uns holten Diener für das Haus unsers Gottes. Und ich gab ihnen ein, was sie reden sollten mit Iddo und seinen Brüdern, den Tempelknechten, zu Kasphia.
18 And by the help of our God they got for us Ish-sechel, one of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah with his sons and brothers, eighteen;
18 Et, comme la bonne main de notre Dieu était sur nous, ils nous amenèrent Schérébia, homme de sens, d'entre les fils de Machli, fils de Lévi, fils d'Israël, et avec lui ses fils et ses frères, au nombre de dix-huit;
18 Ansin, a bhuí le gnaoi ár nDé a bhí orainn, chuir siad chugainn fear éirimiúil, de chlann Mhailí mhic Léiví mhic Iosrael, Séiribiá lena chlann mhac agus lena ghaolta, ochtar déag ar fad;

18 Und sie brachten uns, nach der guten Hand unsres Gottes über uns, einen klugen Mann aus den Kindern Maheli, des Sohnes Levis, des Sohnes Israels, und Serebja mit seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, achtzehn,
19 And Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brothers and their sons, twenty;
19 Haschabia, et avec lui Ésaïe, d'entre les fils de Merari, ses frères et leurs fils, au nombre de vingt;
19 agus Haisibiá chomh maith agus Isiá ina theannta de chlann mhac Mharáraí, agus a gclann mhac - fiche fear;

21 Then I gave orders for a time of going without food, there by the river Ahava, so that we might make ourselves low before our God in prayer, requesting from him a straight way for us and for our little ones and for all our substance.
21 Là, près du fleuve d'Ahava, je publiai un jeûne d'humiliation devant notre Dieu, afin d'implorer de lui un heureux voyage pour nous, pour nos enfants, et pour tout ce qui nous appartenait.

21 Y publiqué ayuno allí junto al río de Ahava, para afligirnos delante de nuestro Dios, para solicitar de él camino derecho para nosotros, y para nuestros niños, y para toda nuestra hacienda.
21 Und ich ließ daselbst am Wasser bei Ahava ein Fasten ausrufen, daß wir uns demütigten vor unserm Gott, zu suchen von ihm einen richtigen Weg für uns und unsre Kinder und alle unsre Habe.
22 For I would not, for shame, make request to the king for a band of armed men and horsemen to give us help against those who might make attacks on us on the way: for we had said to the king, The hand of our God is on his servants for good, but his power and his wrath are against all those who are turned away from him.
22 J'aurais eu honte de demander au roi une escorte et des cavaliers pour nous protéger contre l'ennemi pendant la route, car nous avions dit au roi: La main de notre Dieu est pour leur bien sur tous ceux qui le cherchent, mais sa force et sa colère sont sur tous ceux qui l'abandonnent.
22 Óir ba leasc liom cuideachta saighdiúirí agus marcshlua a lorg ar an rí le sinn a chosaint ón namhaid ar an tslí mar bhí sé ráite cheana féin againn leis an rí: “Tá láimh ar nDé leata mar sciath chosanta ar cách a lorgann é, agus a neart agus a fhearg ar chách a thugann cúl leis.”
22 Porque tuve vergüenza de pedir al rey tropa y gente de á caballo que nos defendiesen del enemigo en el camino: porque habíamos hablado al rey, diciendo: La mano de nuestro Dios es para bien sobre todos los que le buscan; mas su fortaleza y su furor sobre todos los que le dejan.
22 Denn ich schämte mich vom König Geleit und Reiter zu fordern, uns wider die Feinde zu helfen auf dem Wege. Denn wir hatten dem König gesagt: Die Hand unsres Gottes ist zum Besten über alle, die ihn suchen, und seine Stärke und Zorn über alle, die ihn verlassen.
23 So we went without food, requesting our God for this: and his ear was open to our prayer.
23 C'est à cause de cela que nous jeûnâmes et que nous invoquâmes notre Dieu. Et il nous exauça.

24 So I put on one side twelve of the chiefs of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brothers with them,

25 And gave to them by weight the silver and the gold and the vessels, all the offering for the house of our God which the king and his wise men and his captains and all Israel there present had given:
25 Je pesai devant eux l'argent, l'or, et les ustensiles, donnés en offrande pour la maison de notre Dieu par le roi, ses conseillers et ses chefs, et par tous ceux d'Israël qu'on avait trouvés.

25 und wog ihnen dar das Silber und Gold und die Gefäße zur Hebe für das Haus unsres Gottes, welche der König und seine Ratsherren und Fürsten und ganz Israel, das vorhanden war, zur Hebe gegeben hatten.
26 Measuring into their hands six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels, a hundred talents' weight, and a hundred talents of gold,
26 Je remis entre leurs mains six cent cinquante talents d'argent, des ustensiles d'argent pour cent talents, cent talents d'or,

27 And twenty gold basins, of a thousand darics, and two vessels of the best bright brass, equal in value to gold.

28 And I said to them, You are holy to the Lord and the vessels are holy: and the silver and the gold are an offering freely given to the Lord, the God of your fathers.
28 Puis je leur dis: Vous êtes consacrés à l'Éternel; ces ustensiles sont des choses saintes, et cet argent et cet or sont une offrande volontaire à l'Éternel, le Dieu de vos pères.

29 Take care of them and keep them, till you put them on the scales before the chiefs of the priests and the Levites and the chiefs of the families of Israel, in Jerusalem, in the rooms of the house of the Lord.
29 Soyez vigilants, et prenez cela sous votre garde, jusqu'à ce que vous le pesiez devant les chefs des sacrificateurs et les Lévites, et devant les chefs de familles d'Israël, à Jérusalem, dans les chambres de la maison de l'Éternel.

29 Velad, y guardadlos, hasta que los peséis delante de los príncipes de los sacerdotes y Levitas, y de los jefes de los padres de Israel en Jerusalem, en las cámaras de la casa de Jehová.
29 So wacht und bewahrt es, bis daß ihr's darwägt vor den Obersten Priestern und Leviten und den Obersten der Vaterhäuser in Israel zu Jerusalem in die Kammer des Hauses des HERRN.
30 So the priests and the Levites took the weight of silver and gold and the vessels, to take them to Jerusalem into the house of our God.
30 Et les sacrificateurs et les Lévites reçurent au poids l'argent, l'or et les ustensiles, pour les porter à Jérusalem, dans la maison de notre Dieu.
30 Ghlac na sagairt agus na Léivítigh cúram an airgid, an óir agus na soithí, a tomhaiseadh, orthu féin, lena dtabhairt go Iarúsailéim go Teampall ar nDé.
30 Los sacerdotes pues y Levitas recibieron el peso de la plata y del oro y de los vasos, para traerlo á Jerusalem á la casa de nuestro Dios.
30 Da nahmen die Priester und Leviten das gewogene Silber und Gold und die Gefäße, daß sie es brächten gen Jerusalem zum Hause unsres Gottes.
31 Then we went away from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go to Jerusalem; and the hand of our God was on us, and he gave us salvation from our haters and those who were waiting to make an attack on us by the way.
31 Nous partîmes du fleuve d'Ahava pour nous rendre à Jérusalem, le douzième jour du premier mois. La main de notre Dieu fut sur nous et nous préserva des attaques de l'ennemi et de toute embûche pendant la route.
31 Ar an dara lá déag den chéad mhí d'fhágamar abhainn Ahavá ar ár mbealach go Iarúsailéim; bhí gnaoi ár nDé orainn agus chosain sé ar an tslí sinn ó naimhde agus ó róbálaithe.
31 Y partimos del río de Ahava el doce del mes primero, para ir á Jerusalem: y la mano de nuestro Dios fué sobre nosotros, el cual nos libró de mano de enemigo y de asechador en el camino.
31 Also brachen wir auf von dem Wasser Ahava am zwölften Tage des ersten Monats, daß wir gen Jerusalem zögen. Und die Hand unsres Gottes war über uns und errettete uns von der Hand der Feinde und derer, die uns nachstellten auf dem Wege.
32 And we came to Jerusalem and were there for three days.
32 Nous arrivâmes à Jérusalem, et nous nous y reposâmes trois jours.

33 And on the fourth day, the silver and the gold and the vessels were measured out by weight in the house of our God into the hands of Meremoth, the son of Uriah, the priest; and with him was Eleazar, the son of Phinehas; and with them were Jozabad, the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah, the son of Binnui, the Levites;
