1 Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz, the son of Josiah, and made him king in Jerusalem in place of his father.

4 Et le roi d'Égypte établit roi sur Juda et sur Jérusalem Éliakim, frère de Joachaz; et il changea son nom en celui de Jojakim. Néco prit son frère Joachaz, et l'emmena en Égypte.

4 Y constituyó el rey de Egipto á su hermano Eliacim por rey sobre Judá y Jerusalem, y mudóle el nombre en Joacim; y á Joachâz su hermano tomó Nechâo, y llevólo á Egipto.
4 Und der König in Ägypten machte Eljakim, seinen Bruder, zum König über Juda und Jerusalem und wandelte seinen Namen in Jojakim. Aber seinen Bruder Joahas nahm Necho und brachte ihn nach Ägypten.
5 Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he became king; he was ruling in Jerusalem for eleven years, and he did evil in the eyes of the Lord his God.
5 Jojakim avait vingt-cinq ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna onze ans à Jérusalem.

8 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim and the disgusting things he did, and all there is to be said against him, are recorded in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah; and Jehoiachin his son became king in his place.
8 Le reste des actions de Jojakim, les abominations qu'il commit, et ce qui se trouvait en lui, cela est écrit dans le livre des rois d'Israël et de Juda. Et Jojakin, son fils, régna à sa place.

10 In the spring of the year King Nebuchadnezzar sent and took him away to Babylon, with the beautiful vessels of the house of the Lord, and made Zedekiah, his father's brother, king over Judah and Jerusalem.
10 L'année suivante, le roi Nebucadnetsar le fit emmener à Babylone avec les ustensiles précieux de la maison de l'Éternel. Et il établit roi sur Juda et sur Jérusalem Sédécias, frère de Jojakin.

12 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, and did not make himself low before Jeremiah the prophet who gave him the word of the Lord.

13 And he took up arms against King Nebuchadnezzar, though he had made him take an oath by God; but he made his neck stiff and his heart hard, turning away from the Lord, the God of Israel.
13 Il se révolta même contre le roi Nebucadnetsar, qui l'avait fait jurer par le nom de Dieu; et il raidit son cou et endurcit son coeur, au point de ne pas retourner à l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël.

13 Rebelóse asimismo contra Nabucodonosor, al cual había jurado por Dios; y endureció su cerviz, y obstinó su corazón, para no volverse á Jehová el Dios de Israel.
13 Dazu ward er abtrünnig von Nebukadnezar, dem König zu Babel, der einen Eid bei Gott ihm genommen hatte, und ward halsstarrig und verstockte sein Herz, daß er sich nicht bekehrte zu dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels.
14 And more than this, all the great men of Judah and the priests and the people made their sin great, turning to all the disgusting ways of the nations; and they made unclean the house of the Lord which he had made holy in Jerusalem.
14 Tous les chefs des sacrificateurs et le peuple multiplièrent aussi les transgressions, selon toutes les abominations des nations; et ils profanèrent la maison de l'Éternel, qu'il avait sanctifiée à Jérusalem.
14 Na príomhshagairt go léir, agus an pobal go léir chomh maith, bhí siad thar a bheith mídhílis, agus rinne siad aithris ar nósanna gránna na gciníocha, agus thruailligh siad Teampall an Tiarna a choisric sé in Iarúsailéim.
14 Y también todos los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y el pueblo, aumentaron la prevaricación, siguiendo todas las abominaciones de las gentes, y contaminando la casa de Jehová, la cual él había santificado en Jerusalem.
14 Auch alle Obersten unter den Priestern samt dem Volk machten des Sündigens viel nach allerlei Greueln der Heiden und verunreinigten das Haus des HERRN, das er geheiligt hatte zu Jerusalem.
15 And the Lord, the God of their fathers, sent word to them by his servants, sending early and frequently, because he had pity on his people and on his living-place;
15 L'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères, donna de bonne heure à ses envoyés la mission de les avertir, car il voulait épargner son peuple et sa propre demeure.

15 Y Jehová el Dios de sus padres envió á ellos por mano de sus mensajeros, levantándose de mañana y enviando: porque él tenía misericordia de su pueblo, y de su habitación.
15 Und der HERR, ihrer Väter Gott, sandte zu ihnen durch seine Boten früh und immerfort; denn er schonte seines Volkes und seiner Wohnung.
16 But they put shame on the servants of God, making sport of his words and laughing at his prophets, till the wrath of God was moved against his people, till there was no help.
16 Mais ils se moquèrent des envoyés de Dieu, ils méprisèrent ses paroles, et ils se raillèrent de ses prophètes, jusqu'à ce que la colère de l'Éternel contre son peuple devînt sans remède.

16 Mas ellos hacían escarnio de los mensajeros de Dios, y menospreciaban sus palabras, burlándose de sus profetas, hasta que subió el furor de Jehová contra su pueblo, y que no hubo remedio.
16 Aber sie spotteten der Boten Gottes und verachteten seine Worte und äfften seine Propheten, bis der Grimm des HERRN über sein Volk wuchs, daß kein Heilen mehr da war.
17 So he sent against them the king of the Chaldaeans, who put their young men to death with the sword in the house of their holy place, and had no pity for any, young man or virgin, old man or white-haired: God gave them all into his hands.
17 Alors l'Éternel fit monter contre eux le roi des Chaldéens, et tua par l'épée leurs jeunes gens dans la maison de leur sanctuaire; il n'épargna ni le jeune homme, ni la jeune fille, ni le vieillard, ni l'homme aux cheveux blancs, il livra tout entre ses mains.

17 Por lo cual trajo contra ellos al rey de los Caldeos, que mató á cuchillo sus mancebos en la casa de su santuario, sin perdonar joven, ni doncella, ni viejo, ni decrépito; todos los entregó en sus manos.
17 Denn er führte über sie den König der Chaldäer und ließ erwürgen ihre junge Mannschaft mit dem Schwert im Hause ihres Heiligtums und verschonte weder die Jünglinge noch die Jungfrauen, weder die Alten noch die Großväter; alle gab er sie in seine Hand.
18 And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the stored wealth of the Lord's house and the wealth of the king and his chiefs, he took away to Babylon.
18 Nebucadnetsar emporta à Babylone tous les ustensiles de la maison de Dieu, grands et petits, les trésors de la maison de l'Éternel, et les trésors du roi et de ses chefs.

18 Asimismo todos los vasos de la casa de Dios, grandes y chicos, los tesoros de la casa de Jehová, y los tesoros del rey y de sus príncipes, todo lo llevó á Babilonia.
18 Und alle Gefäße im Hause Gottes, groß und klein, die Schätze im Hause des HERRN und die Schätze des Königs und seiner Fürsten, alles ließ er gen Babel führen.
19 And the house of God was burned and the wall of Jerusalem broken down; all its great houses were burned with fire and all its beautiful vessels given up to destruction.
19 Ils brûlèrent la maison de Dieu, ils démolirent les murailles de Jérusalem, ils livrèrent au feu tous ses palais et détruisirent tous les objets précieux.
19 Loisceadar Teampall Dé, agus réab siad ballaí Iarúsailéim, agus chuir siad a páláis go léir trí thine, agus mhill siad a soithí luachmhara go léir.
19 Y quemaron la casa de Dios, y rompieron el muro de Jerusalem, y consumieron al fuego todos sus palacios, y destruyeron todos sus vasos deseables.
19 Und sie verbrannten das Haus Gottes und brachen ab die Mauer zu Jerusalem, und alle ihre Paläste brannten sie mit Feuer aus, daß alle ihre köstlichen Geräte verderbt wurden.
20 And all who had not come to death by the sword he took away prisoners to Babylon; and they became servants to him and to his sons till the kingdom of Persia came to power:
20 Nebucadnetsar emmena captifs à Babylone ceux qui échappèrent à l'épée; et ils lui furent assujettis, à lui et à ses fils, jusqu'à la domination du royaume de Perse,
20 Iad siúd a tháinig slán ón gclaíomh, dhíbir Nabúcadnazar go dtí an Bhablóin iad mar a raibh siad ina ndaoir aige féin agus ag a chlann mhac nó gur tháinig ríocht na Peirse i gcumhacht.
20 Los que quedaron del cuchillo, pasáronlos á Babilonia; y fueron siervos de él y de sus hijos, hasta que vino el reino de los Persas;
20 Und er führte weg gen Babel, wer vom Schwert übriggeblieben war, und sie wurden seine und seiner Söhne Knechte, bis das Königreich der Perser aufkam,
21 So that the words of the Lord, which he said by the mouth of Jeremiah, might come true, till the land had had pleasure in her Sabbaths; for as long as she was waste the land kept the Sabbath, till seventy years were complete.
21 afin que s'accomplît la parole de l'Éternel prononcée par la bouche de Jérémie; jusqu'à ce que le pays eût joui de ses sabbats, il se reposa tout le temps qu'il fut dévasté, jusqu'à l'accomplissement de soixante-dix ans.
21 Is mar sin a comhlíonadh focal an Tiarna a labhair sé trí bhéal Irimia: “Coimeádfaidh an tír seo a sabóid i rith laethanta a hainnise go ceann deich mbliana agus trí scór, nó go mbeidh a sabóidí caite aici.”
21 Para que se cumpliese la palabra de Jehová por la boca de Jeremías, hasta que la tierra hubo gozado sus sábados: porque todo el tiempo de su asolamiento reposó, hasta que los setenta años fueron cumplidos.
21 daß erfüllt würde das Wort des HERRN durch den Mund Jeremia's, bis das Land an seinen Sabbaten genug hätte. Denn die ganze Zeit über, da es wüst lag, hatte es Sabbat, bis daß siebzig Jahre voll wurden.
22 Now in the first year of Cyrus, king of Persia, in order that the words which the Lord had said by the mouth of Jeremiah might come true, the spirit of Cyrus, king of Persia, was moved by the Lord, and he made a public statement and had it given out through all his kingdom and put in writing, saying,
22 La première année de Cyrus, roi de Perse, afin que s'accomplît la parole de l'Éternel prononcée par la bouche de Jérémie, l'Éternel réveilla l'esprit de Cyrus, roi de Perse, qui fit faire de vive voix et par écrit cette publication dans tout son royaume:
22 Chun go gcomhlíonfaí an focal úd a dúirt an Tiarna trí bhéal Irimia, an chéad bhliain dá raibh Cíoras i gcoróin na Peirse, spreag an Tiarna spiorad Chíorais rí na Peirse i dtreo gur chuir sé fógra amach ar fud a ríochta go léir agus gur chuir sé é i scríbhinn freisin, mar leanas:
22 Mas al primer año de Ciro rey de los Persas, para que se cumpliese la palabra de Jehová por boca de Jeremías, Jehová excitó el espíritu de Ciro rey de los Persas, el cual hizo pasar pregón por todo su reino, y también por escrito, diciendo:
22 Aber im ersten Jahr des Kores, des Königs in Persien (daß erfüllt würde das Wort des HERRN, durch den Mund Jeremia's geredet), erweckte der HERR den Geist des Kores, des Königs in Persien, daß er ließ ausrufen durch sein ganzes Königreich, auch durch Schrift, und sagen:
23 Cyrus, king of Persia, has said, All the kingdoms of the earth have been given to me by the Lord, the God of heaven; and he has made me responsible for building a house for him in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever there is among you of all his people, may the Lord his God be with him and let him go up.
23 Ainsi parle Cyrus, roi de Perse: L'Éternel, le Dieu des cieux, m'a donné tous les royaumes de la terre, et il m'a commandé de lui bâtir une maison à Jérusalem en Juda. Qui d'entre vous est de son peuple? Que l'Éternel, son Dieu, soit avec lui, et qu'il monte!
