1 And the spirit of God came on Azariah, the son of Oded;

1 Y Fué el espíritu de Dios sobre Azarías hijo de Obed;
1 Und auf Asarja, den Sohn Odeds, kam der Geist Gottes.
2 And he came face to face with Asa and said to him, Give ear to me, Asa and all Judah and Benjamin: the Lord is with you while you are with him; if your heart's desire is for him, he will be near you, but if you give him up, he will give you up.
2 et Azaria alla au-devant d'Asa et lui dit: Écoutez-moi, Asa, et tout Juda et Benjamin! L'Éternel est avec vous quand vous êtes avec lui; si vous le cherchez, vous le trouverez; mais si vous l'abandonnez, il vous abandonnera.
2 agus ghabh sé amach i gcoinne Ásá agus dúirt leis: “Éist linn, a Ásá, a Iúdá agus a Bhiniáimin go léir. Tá an Tiarna in éineacht libh fad tá sibhse in éineacht leis. Má lorgann sibh é, gheobhaidh sibh é, ach má thréigeann sibh é, tréigfidh sé sibh.
2 Y salió al encuentro á Asa, y díjole: Oidme, Asa, y todo Judá y Benjamín: Jehová es con vosotros, si vosotros fueres con él: y si le buscareis, será hallado de vosotros; mas si le dejareis, él también os dejará.
2 Der ging hinaus Asa entgegen und sprach zu ihm: Höret mir zu, Asa und ganz Juda und Benjamin. Der HERR ist mit euch, weil ihr mit ihm seid; und wenn ihr ihn sucht, wird er sich von euch finden lassen. Werdet ihr aber ihn verlassen, so wird er euch auch verlassen.
3 Now for a long time Israel has been without the true God, and without a teaching priest and without the law;
3 Pendant longtemps il n'y a eu pour Israël ni vrai Dieu, ni sacrificateur qui enseignât, ni loi.
3 Is iomaí lá a chaith Iosrael gan Dia fírinneach, gan sagart le teagasc a thabhairt, gan dlí.
3 Muchos días ha estado Israel sin verdadero Dios y sin sacerdote, y sin enseñador y sin ley:
3 Es werden aber viel Tage sein in Israel, daß kein rechter Gott, kein Priester, der da lehrt, und kein Gesetz sein wird.
4 But when in their trouble they were turned to the Lord, the God of Israel, searching after him, he let their search be rewarded.
4 Mais au sein de leur détresse ils sont retournés à l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, ils l'ont cherché, et ils l'ont trouvé.
4 Ach d'iompaigh siad chun an Tiarna Dia Iosrael as a n‑anachain; lorg siad é agus fuair siad é.
4 Mas cuando en su tribulación se convirtieron á Jehová Dios de Israel, y le buscaron, él fué hallado de ellos.
4 Und wenn sie sich bekehren in ihrer Not zum Herrn, dem Gott Israels, und werden ihn suchen, so wird er sich finden lassen.
5 In those times there was no peace for him who went out or for him who came in, but great trouble was on all the people of the lands.
5 Dans ces temps-là, point de sécurité pour ceux qui allaient et venaient, car il y avait de grands troubles parmi tous les habitants du pays;
5 San am sin, ní raibh síocháin ag aosánach ar bith, mar bhí trioblóidí ina mílte sa mhullach ar áitritheoirí na gcríoch.
5 En aquellos tiempos no hubo paz, ni para el que entraba, ni para el que salía, sino muchas aflicciones sobre todos los habitadores de las tierras.
5 Zu der Zeit wird's nicht wohl gehen dem, der aus und ein geht; denn es werden große Getümmel sein über alle, die auf Erden wohnen.
6 And they were broken by divisions, nation against nation and town against town, because God sent all sorts of trouble on them.
6 on se heurtait peuple contre peuple, ville contre ville, parce que Dieu les agitait par toutes sortes d'angoisses.
6 Smiotadh iad; rinne náisiún náisiún a threascairt, agus cathair cathair eile, mar rinne Dia iad a chiapadh le gach sort anó.
6 Y la una gente destruía á la otra, y una ciudad á otra ciudad: porque Dios los conturbó con todas calamidades.
6 Denn ein Volk wird das andere zerschlagen und eine Stadt die andere; denn Gott wird sie erschrecken mit allerlei Angst.
7 But be you strong and let not your hands be feeble, for your work will be rewarded.
7 Vous donc, fortifiez-vous, et ne laissez pas vos mains s'affaiblir, car il y aura un salaire pour vos oeuvres.
7 Ach maidir libhse, bíodh misneach agaibh, ná ligigí do bhur lámha dul i laige, mar gheobhaidh sibh luach bhur saothair.”
7 Esforzaos empero vosotros, y no desfallezcan vuestras manos; que salario hay para vuestra obra.
7 Ihr aber seid getrost und tut eure Hände nicht ab; denn euer Werk hat seinen Lohn.
8 And Asa, hearing these words of Azariah, the son of Oded the prophet, took heart and put away all the disgusting things out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the towns which he had taken from the hill-country of Ephraim; and he made new again the altar of the Lord in front of the covered way of the Lord's house.
8 Après avoir entendu ces paroles et la prophétie d'Obed le prophète, Asa se fortifia et fit disparaître les abominations de tout le pays de Juda et de Benjamin et des villes qu'il avait prises dans la montagne d'Éphraïm, et il restaura l'autel de l'Éternel qui était devant le portique de l'Éternel.
8 Nuair a chuala Ásá na focail sin agus an fháistine sin [le hÓdaed an fáidh], tháinig misneach chuige agus dhíbir sé na híola gráiniúla ó thír Iúdá agus Bhiniáimin, agus ó na cathracha a ghabh sé in ardáin Eafráim, agus dheisigh sé altóir an Tiarna a sheas os comhair phóirse an Tiarna.
8 Y como oyó Asa las palabras y profecía de Obed profeta, fué confortado, y quitó las abominaciones de toda la tierra de Judá y de Benjamín, y de las ciudades que él había tomado en el monte de Ephraim; y reparó el altar de Jehová que estaba delante del pórtico de Jehová.
8 Da aber Asa hörte diese Worte und die Weissagung Odeds, des Propheten, ward er getrost und tat weg die Greuel aus dem ganzen Lande Juda und Benjamin uns aus den Städten, die er gewonnen hatte auf dem Gebirge Ephraim, und erneuerte den Altar des HERRN, der vor der Halle des HERRN stand,
9 And he got together all Judah and Benjamin and those of Ephraim and Manasseh and Simeon who were living with them; for numbers of them came to him out of Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.
9 Il rassembla tout Juda et Benjamin, et ceux d'Éphraïm, de Manassé et de Siméon qui habitaient parmi eux, car un grand nombre de gens d'Israël se joignirent à lui lorsqu'ils virent que l'Éternel, son Dieu, était avec lui.
9 Thionóil sé Iúdá agus Biniáimin go léir, agus muintir Eafráim, Mhanaise agus Shimeon a bhí ag cur fúthu ina dteannta, mar ghabh líon mór daoine anonn chuige ó Iosrael nuair a chonaic siad go raibh an Tiarna, a Dhia, ina theannta.
9 Después hizo juntar á todo Judá y Benjamín, y con ellos los extranjeros de Ephraim, y de Manasés, y de Simeón: porque muchos de Israel se habían pasado á él, viendo que Jehová su Dios era con él.
9 und versammelte das ganze Juda und Benjamin und die Fremdlinge bei ihnen aus Ephraim, Manasse und Simeon. Denn es fielen zu ihm aus Israel die Menge, als sie sahen, daß der HERR, sein Gott, mit ihm war.
10 So they came together at Jerusalem in the third month, in the fifteenth year of the rule of Asa.
10 Ils s'assemblèrent à Jérusalem le troisième mois de la quinzième année du règne d'Asa.
10 Thángadar le chéile in Iarúsailéim sa tríú mí den chúigiú bliain déag de réimeas Ásá.
10 Juntáronse pues en Jerusalem en el mes tercero del año décimoquinto del reinado de Asa.
10 Und sie versammelten sich gen Jerusalem im dritten Monat des fünfzehnten Jahres des Königreichs Asas
11 And that day they made offerings to the Lord of the things they had taken in war, seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep.
11 Ce jour-là, ils sacrifièrent à l'Éternel, sur le butin qu'ils avaient amené, sept cents boeufs et sept mille brebis.

11 Y en aquel mismo día sacrificaron á Jehová, de los despojos que habían traído, setecientos bueyes y siete mil ovejas.

12 And they made an agreement to be true to the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and all their soul;
12 Ils prirent l'engagement de chercher l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères, de tout leur coeur et de toute leur âme;
12 Agus rinne siad conradh go lorgfaidís an Tiarna, Dia a sinsear, lena gcroí go hiomlán agus lena n‑anam go hiomlán,
12 Y entraron en concierto de que buscarían á Jehová el Dios de sus padres, de todo su corazón y de toda su alma;
12 Und sie traten in den Bund, daß sie suchten den HERRN, ihrer Väter Gott, von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer Seele;
13 And that anyone, small or great, man or woman, who was not true to the Lord, the God of Israel, would be put to death.
13 et quiconque ne chercherait pas l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, devait être mis à mort, petit ou grand, homme ou femme.
13 agus cibé duine nach lorgfadh an Tiarna Dia Iosrael, go gcuirfí chun báis é, cibé acu óg nó aosta é, fear nó bean.
13 Y que cualquiera que no buscase á Jehová el Dios de Israel, muriese, grande ó pequeño, hombre ó mujer.
13 und wer nicht würde den HERRN, den Gott Israels, suchen, sollte sterben, klein oder groß, Mann oder Weib.
14 And they made an oath to the Lord, with a loud voice, sounding wind-instruments and horns.
14 Ils jurèrent fidélité à l'Éternel à voix haute, avec des cris de joie, et au son des trompettes et des cors;
14 Thug siad mionn os ard don Tiarna le gártha agus le séideadh stoc agus adharc.
14 Y juraron á Jehová con gran voz y júbilo, á son de trompetas y de bocinas:
14 Und sie schwuren dem HERRN mit lauter Stimme, mit Freudengeschrei, mit Drommeten und Posaunen.
15 And all Judah was glad because of the oath, for they had taken it with all their heart, turning to the Lord with all their desire; and he was with them and gave them rest on every side.
15 tout Juda se réjouit de ce serment, car ils avaient juré de tout leur coeur, ils avaient cherché l'Éternel de plein gré, et ils l'avaient trouvé, et l'Éternel leur donna du repos de tous côtés.
15 Chuir an mionn a thugadar le lánchroí lúcháir ar Iúdá go léir. Rinne siad an Tiarna a thóraíocht le dúthracht chroí agus fuair siad é agus thug sé síocháin dóibh ar gach taobh.
15 Del cual juramento todos los de Judá se alegraron; porque de todo su corazón lo juraban, y de toda su voluntad lo buscaban: y fué hallado de ellos; y dióles Jehová reposo de todas partes.
15 Und das ganze Juda war fröhlich über dem Eide; denn sie hatten geschworen von ganzen Herzen, und suchten ihn mit ganzem Willen. Und er ließ sich finden, und der HERR gab ihnen Ruhe umher.
16 And Asa would not let Maacah, his mother, be queen, because she had made a disgusting image for Asherah; and Asa had her image cut down and broken up and burned by the stream Kidron.
16 Le roi Asa enleva même à Maaca, sa mère, la dignité de reine, parce qu'elle avait fait une idole pour Astarté. Asa abattit son idole, qu'il réduisit en poussière, et la brûla au torrent de Cédron.
16 Bhain Ásá rí dínit na ríonmháthar dá mháthair Mácá mar go dearna sí dealbh ghráiniúil do Aiséará. Ghearr Ásá an dealbh anuas agus dhóigh í i nGleann Chidreon.
16 Y aun á Maachâ madre del rey Asa, él mismo la depuso de su dignidad, porque había hecho un ídolo en el bosque: y Asa deshizo su ídolo, y lo desmenuzó, y quemó en el torrente de Cedrón.
16 Auch setzte Asa, der König, ab Maacha, seine Mutter, daß sie nicht mehr Herrin war, weil sie der Ascherah ein Greuelbild gestiftet hatte. Und Asa rottete ihr Greuelbild aus und zerstieß es und verbrannte es am Bach Kidron.
17 But the high places were not taken away out of Israel; but still the heart of Asa was true to the Lord all his life.
17 Mais les hauts lieux ne disparurent point d'Israël, quoique le coeur d'Asa fût en entier à l'Éternel pendant toute sa vie.
17 Cé nár scuabadh chun siúil na hardionaid, bhí croí Ásá gan locht i gcaitheamh a shaoil go léir.
17 Mas con todo eso los altos no eran quitados de Israel, aunque el corazón de Asa fué perfecto mientras vivió.
17 Aber die Höhen in Israel wurden nicht abgetan; doch war das Herz Asas rechtschaffen sein Leben lang.
18 He took into the house of God all the things which his father had made holy and those which he himself had made holy, silver and gold and vessels.
18 Il mit dans la maison de Dieu les choses consacrées par son père et par lui-même, de l'argent, de l'or et des vases.
18 Chuir sé isteach i dTeampall Dé na tabhartais a thíolaic a athair agus é féin, idir ór agus airgead agus ghréithe.
18 Y metió en la casa de Dios lo que su padre había dedicado, y lo que él había consagrado, plata y oro y vasos.
18 Und er brachte ein, was sein Vater geheiligt und was er geheiligt hatte, ins Haus Gottes: Silber, Gold und Gefäße.
19 And there was no more war till the thirty-fifth year of the rule of Asa.
19 Il n'y eut point de guerre jusqu'à la trente-cinquième année du règne d'Asa.
