1 Now when Solomon's prayers were ended, fire came down from heaven, burning up all the offerings; and the house was full of the glory of the Lord.
1 Lorsque Salomon eut achevé de prier, le feu descendit du ciel et consuma l'holocauste et les sacrifices, et la gloire de l'Éternel remplit la maison.
1 Nuair a bhí a urnaí ráite ag Solamh, tháinig tine anuas ó na flaithis agus dhóigh an íobairt uileloiscthe agus na hofrálacha, agus líon glóir an Tiarna an Teampall.
1 Y Como Salomón acabó de orar, el fuego descendió de los cielos, y consumió el holocausto y las víctimas; y la gloria de Jehová hinchió la casa.
1 Und da Salomo ausgebetet hatte, fiel ein Feuer vom Himmel und verzehrte das Brandopfer und die anderen Opfer; und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erfüllte das Haus,
2 And the priests were not able to go into the house of the Lord, for the Lord's house was full of the glory of the Lord.
2 Les sacrificateurs ne pouvaient entrer dans la maison de l'Éternel, car la gloire de l'Éternel remplissait la maison de l'Éternel.
2 Níor fhéad na sagairt dul isteach i dteach an Tiarna óir líon glóir an Tiarna teach an Tiarna.
2 Y no podían entrar los sacerdotes en la casa de Jehová, porque la gloria de Jehová había henchido la casa de Jehová.
2 daß die Priester nicht konnten hineingehen ins Haus des HERRN, weil die Herrlichkeit des HERRN füllte des HERRN Haus.
3 And all the children of Israel were looking on when the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord was on the house; and they went down on their knees, with their faces to the earth, worshipping and praising the Lord, and saying, He is good; for his mercy is unchanging for ever.
3 Tous les enfants d'Israël virent descendre le feu et la gloire de l'Éternel sur la maison; ils s'inclinèrent le visage contre terre sur le pavé, se prosternèrent et louèrent l'Éternel, en disant: Car il est bon, car sa miséricorde dure à toujours!
3 Nuair a chonaic clann Iosrael go léir an tine ag teacht anuas agus glóir an Tiarna ina luí ar an Teampall, chrom siad síos chun an urláir ar a mbéala agus ar a bhfiacla ar an bpábháil; thug siad adhradh agus moladh don Tiarna: “Óir is maith é, agus maireann a bhuanghrá de shíor.”
3 Y como vieron todos los hijos de Israel descender el fuego y la gloria de Jehová sobre la casa, cayeron en tierra sobre sus rostros en el pavimento, y adoraron, confesando á Jehová y diciendo: Que es bueno, que su misericordia es para siempre.
3 Auch sahen alle Kinder Israel das Feuer herabfallen und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN über dem Hause, und fielen auf ihre Kniee mit dem Antlitz zur Erde aufs Pflaster und beteten an und dankten dem HERRN, daß er gütig ist und seine Barmherzigkeit ewiglich währet.
4 Then the king and all the people made offerings before the Lord.
4 Le roi et tout le peuple offrirent des sacrifices devant l'Éternel.
4 Ansin d'ofráil an rí agus an pobal go léir íobairt i láthair an Tiarna.
4 Entonces el rey y todo el pueblo sacrificaron víctimas delante de Jehová.
4 Der König aber und alles Volk opferten vor dem HERRN;
5 King Solomon made an offering of twenty-two thousand oxen, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people kept the feast of the opening of the house of God.
5 Le roi Salomon immola vingt-deux mille boeufs et cent vingt mille brebis. Ainsi le roi et tout le peuple firent la dédicace de la maison de Dieu.
5 D'ofráil Solamh rí dhá mhíle fichead damh, céad agus a fiche míle caora, agus rinne an rí agus an pobal Teampall an Tiarna a thíolacadh ar an gcuma sin.
5 Y ofreció el rey Salomón en sacrificio veinte y dos mil bueyes, y ciento y veinte mil ovejas; y así dedicaron la casa de Dios el rey y todo el pueblo.
5 denn der König Salomo opferte zweiundzwanzigtausend Ochsen und hundertzwanzigtausend Schafe. Und also weihten sie das Haus Gottes ein, der König und alles Volk.
6 And the priests were in their places, and the Levites with their instruments of music for the Lord's song, which David the king had made for the praise of the Lord whose mercy is unchanging for ever, when David gave praise by their hand; and the priests were sounding horns before them; and all Israel were on their feet.
6 Les sacrificateurs se tenaient à leur poste, et les Lévites aussi avec les instruments faits en l'honneur de l'Éternel par le roi David pour le chant des louanges de l'Éternel, lorsque David les chargea de célébrer l'Éternel en disant: Car sa miséricorde dure à toujours! Les sacrificateurs sonnaient des trompettes vis-à-vis d'eux. Et tout Israël était là.
6 Sheas na sagairt ina n‑ionaid féin, agus mhol na Léivítigh an Tiarna ar na huirlisí a rinne Dáiví le comhsheinm le cainticí an Tiarna: “Óir maireann a bhuanghrá de shíor.” Ghabh siad na hiomainn mholta a chum Dáiví. Taobh leo bhí na sagairt ag séideadh an stoic, agus Iosrael go léir ina seasamh.
6 Y los sacerdotes asistían en su ministerio; y los Levitas con los instrumentos de música de Jehová, los cuales había hecho el rey David para confesar á Jehová, que su misericordia es para siempre; cuando David alababa por mano de ellos. Asimismo los sacerdotes tañían trompetas delante de ellos, y todo Israel estaba en pie.
6 Aber die Priester standen in ihrem Dienst und die Leviten mit den Saitenspielen des HERRN, die der König David hatte machen lassen, dem HERRN zu danken, daß seine Barmherzigkeit ewiglich währet, mit den Psalmen Davids durch ihre Hand; und die Priester bliesen die Drommeten ihnen gegenüber, und das ganze Israel stand.
7 Then Solomon made holy the middle of the open square in front of the house of the Lord, offering the burned offerings there, and the fat of the peace-offerings; for there was not room on the brass altar which Solomon had made for all the burned offerings and the meal offerings and the fat.
7 Salomon consacra le milieu du parvis, qui est devant la maison de l'Éternel; car il offrit là les holocaustes et les graisses des sacrifices d'actions de grâces, parce que l'autel d'airain qu'avait fait Salomon ne pouvait contenir les holocaustes, les offrandes et les graisses.
7 Rinne Solamh rí lár na cúirte os comhair Theampall an Tiarna a choisreacan; d'ofráil sé ansiúd an íobairt uileloiscthe, an abhlann agus codanna méithe na n‑íobairtí comaoineach, mar go raibh an altóir chré-umha a rinne Solamh róbheag chun an íobairt uileloiscthe, an abhlann agus na spólaí méithe a iompar.
7 También santificó Salomón el medio del atrio que estaba delante de la casa de Jehová, por cuanto había ofrecido allí los holocaustos, y los sebos de los pacíficos; porque en el altar de bronce que Salomón había hecho, no podían caber los holocaustos, y el presente, y los sebos.
7 Und Salomo heiligte die Mitte des Hofes, der vor dem Hause des HERRN war; denn er hatte daselbst Brandopfer und das Fett der Dankopfer ausgerichtet. Denn der eherne Altar, den Salomo hatte machen lassen, konnte nicht alle Brandopfer, Speisopfer und das Fett fassen.
8 So Solomon kept the feast at that time for seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great meeting, for the people had come together from the way into Hamath and from as far as the river of Egypt.
8 Salomon célébra la fête en ce temps-là pendant sept jours, et tout Israël avec lui; une grande multitude était venue depuis les environs de Hamath jusqu'au torrent d'Égypte.
8 Rinne Solamh ansin an fhéile a cheiliúradh ar feadh seacht lá, in éineacht le hIosrael go léir, ó bhealach Hamát go gleann na hÉigipte, ina chomhthionól mór.
8 Entonces hizo Salomón fiesta siete días, y con él todo Israel, una grande congregación, desde la entrada de Hamath hasta el arroyo de Egipto.
8 Und Salomo hielt zu derselben Zeit ein Fest sieben Tage lang und das ganze Israel mit ihm, eine sehr große Gemeinde, von Hamath an bis an den Bach Ägyptens,
9 And on the eighth day they had a holy meeting; the offerings for making the altar holy went on for seven days, and the feast for seven days.
9 Le huitième jour, ils eurent une assemblée solennelle; car ils firent la dédicace de l'autel pendant sept jours, et la fête pendant sept jours.
9 Ar an ochtú lá bhí comhthionól sollúnta acu, óir cheiliúir siad coisreacan na haltóra seacht lá agus an fhéile seacht lá.
9 Al octavo día hicieron convocación, porque habían hecho la dedicación del altar en siete días, y habían celebrado la solemnidad por siete días.
9 und hielt am achten Tag eine Versammlung; denn die Einweihung des Altars hielten sie sieben Tage und das Fest auch sieben Tage.
10 And on the twenty-third day of the seventh month, he sent the people away to their tents, full of joy and glad in their hearts, because of all the good which the Lord had done to David and to Solomon and to Israel his people.
10 Le vingt-troisième jour du septième mois, Salomon renvoya dans ses tentes le peuple joyeux et content pour le bien que l'Éternel avait fait à David, à Salomon, et à Israël, son peuple.
10 Ar an tríú lá fichead den seachtú mí chuir sé an pobal uaidh abhaile, agus iad faoi lúcháir agus áthas croí de bharr an chineáltais go léir a thaispeáin an Tiarna do Dháiví, do Sholamh agus d'Iosrael a phobal. Rabhadh
10 Y á los veintitrés del mes séptimo envió al pueblo á sus estancias, alegres y gozosos de corazón por los beneficios que Jehová había hecho á David, y á Salomón, y á su pueblo Israel.
10 Aber am dreiundzwanzigsten Tag des siebenten Monats ließ er das Volk heimgehen in ihre Hütten fröhlich und guten Muts über allem Guten, das der HERR an David, Salomo und seinem Volk Israel getan hatte.
11 So Solomon came to the end of building the house of the Lord and the king's house; and everything which it was in his mind to make in the house of the Lord and for himself had been well done.
11 Lorsque Salomon eut achevé la maison de l'Éternel et la maison du roi, et qu'il eut réussi dans tout ce qu'il s'était proposé de faire dans la maison de l'Éternel et dans la maison du roi,
11 Bhí deireadh déanta ag Solamh ansin ag tógáil Theampall an Tiarna agus an pháláis, agus bhí críoch curtha aige ar gach ar mhian leis ina chroí a dhéanamh i dteach an Tiarna agus ina theach féin.
11 Acabó pues Salomón la casa de Jehová, y la casa del rey: y todo lo que Salomón tuvo en voluntad de hacer en la casa de Jehová y en su casa, fué prosperado.
11 Also vollendete Salomo das Haus des HERRN und das Haus des Königs; und alles, was in sein Herz gekommen war, zu machen im Hause des HERRN und in seinem Hause, gelang ihm.
12 Now the Lord came to Solomon in a vision by night, and said to him, I have given ear to your prayer, and have taken this place for myself as a house where offerings are to be made.
12 l'Éternel apparut à Salomon pendant la nuit, et lui dit: J'exauce ta prière, et je choisis ce lieu comme la maison où l'on devra m'offrir des sacrifices.
12 Ansin thaispeáin an Tiarna é féin do Sholamh san oíche agus dúirt sé leis: “D'éist mé le d'urnaí. Thogh mé an áit seo dom féin mar theach íobartha.
12 Y apareció Jehová á Salomón de noche, y díjole: Yo he oído tu oración, y he elegido para mí este lugar por casa de sacrificio.
12 Und der HERR erschien Salomo des Nachts und sprach zu ihm: Ich habe dein Gebet erhört und diese Stätte mir erwählt zum Opferhause.
13 If, at my word, heaven is shut up, so that there is no rain, or if I send locusts on the land for its destruction, or if I send disease on my people;
13 Quand je fermerai le ciel et qu'il n'y aura point de pluie, quand j'ordonnerai aux sauterelles de consumer le pays, quand j'enverrai la peste parmi mon peuple;
13 Nuair a dhúnfaidh mé na spéartha i dtreo nach dtiocfaidh báisteach, nó nuair a ordóidh mé don lócaist an tír a scriosadh, nó nuair a scaoilfidh mé plá faoin bpobal,
13 Si yo cerrare los cielos, que no haya lluvia, y si mandare á la langosta que consuma la tierra, ó si enviare pestilencia á mi pueblo;
13 Siehe, wenn ich den Himmel zuschließe, daß es nicht regnet, oder heiße die Heuschrecken das Land fressen oder lasse Pestilenz unter mein Volk kommen,
14 If my people, on whom my name is named, make themselves low and come to me in prayer, searching for me and turning from their evil ways; then I will give ear from heaven, overlooking their sin, and will give life again to their land.
14 si mon peuple sur qui est invoqué mon nom s'humilie, prie, et cherche ma face, et s'il se détourne de ses mauvaises voies, -je l'exaucerai des cieux, je lui pardonnerai son péché, et je guérirai son pays.
14 má dhéanann an pobal ar a nglaoitear m'ainm iad féin a umhlú agus guí chugam agus mo ghnúis a lorg, agus casadh óna gcosáin choiriúla, tabharfaidh mé cluas dóibh ó neamh, agus maithfidh mé a bpeaca agus cneasóidh mé a dtír.
14 Si se humillare mi pueblo, sobre los cuales ni nombre es invocado, y oraren, y buscaren mi rostro, y se convirtieren de sus malos caminos; entonces yo oiré desde los cielos, y perdonaré sus pecados, y sanaré su tierra.
14 und mein Volk sich demütigt, das nach meinem Namen genannt ist, daß sie beten und mein Angesicht suchen und sich von ihren bösen Wegen bekehren werden: so will ich vom Himmel hören und ihre Sünde vergeben und ihr Land heilen.
15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears awake to the prayers made in this place.
15 Mes yeux seront ouverts désormais, et mes oreilles seront attentives à la prière faite en ce lieu.
15 Beidh mo shúile ar oscailt agus mo chluasa ar tinneall don urnaí a dhéantar san áit seo anois agus feasta.
15 Ahora estarán abiertos mis ojos, y atentos mis oídos, á la oración en este lugar:
15 So sollen nun meine Augen offen sein und meine Ohren aufmerken auf das Gebet an dieser Stätte.
16 For I have taken this house for myself and made it holy, so that my name may be there for ever; and my eyes and my heart will be there at all times.
16 Maintenant, je choisis et je sanctifie cette maison pour que mon nom y réside à jamais, et j'aurai toujours là mes yeux et mon coeur.
16 Anois agus feasta tá an teach seo tofa agus coisricthe agam le go mbeadh m'ainm ann go brách; beidh mo shúile agus mo chroí ann go brách na breithe.
16 Pues que ahora he elegido y santificado esta casa, para que esté en ella mi nombre para siempre; y mis ojos y mi corazón estarán ahí para siempre.
16 So habe ich nun dies Haus erwählt und geheiligt, daß mein Name daselbst sein soll ewiglich und meine Augen und mein Herz soll da sein allewege.
17 And as for you, if you will go on your way before me as David your father did, doing whatever I have given you orders to do and keeping my laws and my decisions:
17 Et toi, si tu marches en ma présence comme a marché David, ton père, faisant tout ce que je t'ai commandé, et si tu observes mes lois et mes ordonnances,
17 Agus maidir leat féin, má shiúlann tú i mo láthair mar a rinne Dáiví d'athair, má dhéanann tú gach ar ordaigh mé duit, agus má chomhlíonann tú mo dhlíthe agus mo reachtanna,
17 Y tú, si anduvieres delante de mí, como anduvo David tu padre, é hicieres todas las cosas que yo te he mandado, y guardares mis estatutos y mis derechos,
17 Und so du wirst vor mir wandeln, wie dein Vater David gewandelt hat, daß du tust alles, was ich dich heiße, und hältst meine Gebote und Rechte:
18 Then I will make strong the seat of your kingdom, as I gave my word to David your father, saying, You will never be without a man to be ruler in Israel.
18 j'affermirai le trône de ton royaume, comme je l'ai promis à David, ton père, en disant: Tu ne manqueras jamais d'un successeur qui règne en Israël.
18 daingneoidh mé do ríchathaoir, de réir an chonartha a rinne mé le Dáiví d'athair á rá: ‘Ní bheidh tú choíche gan fear le suí i ríchathaoir Iosrael.’
18 Yo confirmaré el trono de tu reino, como concerté con David tu padre, diciendo: No faltará varón de ti que domine en Israel.
18 so will ich den Stuhl deines Königreichs bestätigen, wie ich mich deinem Vater David verbunden habe und gesagt: Es soll dir nicht gebrechen an einem Manne, der über Israel Herr sei.
19 But if you are turned away from me, and do not keep my orders and my laws which I have put before you, but go and make yourselves servants to other gods, giving them worship:
19 Mais si vous vous détournez, si vous abandonnez mes lois et mes commandements que je vous ai prescrits, et si vous allez servir d'autres dieux et vous prosterner devant eux,
19 Ach má iompaíonn sibh uaim, agus nach gcoimeádfaidh sibh m'aitheanta agus mo reachtanna a chuir mé romhaibh, ach imeacht agus seirbhís a dhéanamh do dhéithe eile agus iad a adhradh,
19 Mas si vosotros os volviereis, y dejareis mis estatutos y mis preceptos que os he propuesto, y fuereis y sirviereis á dioses ajenos, y los adorareis,
19 Werdet ihr euch aber umkehren und meine Rechte und Gebote, die ich euch vorgelegt habe, verlassen und hingehen und andern Göttern dienen und sie anbeten:
20 Then I will have this people uprooted out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have made holy for my name, I will put away from before my eyes, and make it an example and a word of shame among all peoples.
20 je vous arracherai de mon pays que je vous ai donné, je rejetterai loin de moi cette maison que j'ai consacrée à mon nom, et j'en ferai un sujet de sarcasme et de raillerie parmi tous les peuples.
20 ansin déanfaidh mé [Iosrael] a stoitheadh as an talamh a thug mé dóibh, agus caithfidh mé uaim as mo radharc an Teampall seo a choisric mé do m'ainm, agus déanfaidh mé seanfhocal agus nath de i measc na gciníocha go léir.
20 Yo los arrancaré de mi tierra que les he dado; y esta casa que he santificado á mi nombre, yo la echaré de delante de mí, y pondréla por proverbio y fábula en todos los pueblos.
20 so werde ich sie auswurzeln aus meinem Lande, das ich ihnen gegeben habe; und dies Haus, das ich meinem Namen geheiligt habe, werde ich von meinem Angesicht werfen und werde es zum Sprichwort machen und zur Fabel unter allen Völkern.
21 And this house will become a mass of broken walls, and everyone who goes by will be overcome with wonder, and will say, Why has the Lord done so to this land and to this house?
21 Et si haut placée qu'ait été cette maison, quiconque passera près d'elle sera dans l'étonnement, et dira: Pourquoi l'Éternel a-t-il ainsi traité ce pays et cette maison?
21 Agus maidir leis an Teampall seo atá chomh maorga sin anois, cuirfidh sé alltacht ar gach duine a ghabhfaidh thar bráid agus déarfaidh siad: ‘Cén fáth ar thug an Tiarna an cor seo don tír agus don Teampall seo?’
21 Y esta casa que habrá sido ilustre, será espanto á todo el que pasare, y dirá: ¿Por qué ha hecho así Jehová á esta tierra y á esta casa?
21 Und vor diesem Haus, das das höchste gewesen ist, werden sich entsetzen alle, die vorübergehen, und sagen: Warum ist der HERR mit diesem Lande und diesem Hause also verfahren?
22 And their answer will be, Because they were turned away from the Lord, the God of their fathers, who took them out of the land of Egypt, and took for themselves other gods and gave them worship and became their servants: that is why he has sent all this evil on them.
22 Et l'on répondra: Parce qu'ils ont abandonné l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères, qui les a fait sortir du pays d'Égypte, parce qu'ils se sont attachés à d'autres dieux, se sont prosternés devant eux et les ont servis; voilà pourquoi il a fait venir sur eux tous ces maux.
