1 Then Solomon said, O Lord, to the sun you have given the heaven for a living-place, but your living-place was not seen by men,
1 Alors Salomon dit: L'Éternel veut habiter dans l'obscurité!

1 Entonces dijo Salomón: Jehová ha dicho que él habitaría en la oscuridad.
1 Da sprach Salomo: Der HERR hat geredet, er wolle wohnen im Dunkel.
2 So I have made for you a living-place, a house in which you may be for ever present.
2 Et moi, j'ai bâti une maison qui sera ta demeure, un lieu où tu résideras éternellement!
2 Sea go deimhin, tá teach cónaithe tógtha agam duit, áit ina ndéanfá cónaí ann go brách.”
2 Yo pues he edificado una casa de morada para ti, y una habitación en que mores para siempre.
2 So habe ich nun ein Haus gebaut dir zur Wohnung, und einen Sitz, da du ewiglich wohnst.
3 Then, turning his face about, the king gave a blessing to all the men of Israel; and they were all on their feet together.
3 Le roi tourna son visage, et bénit toute l'assemblée d'Israël; et toute l'assemblée d'Israël était debout.
3 Ansin chas an rí timpeall agus chuir a bheannacht ar chomhthionól Iosrael go léir, agus comhthionól Iosrael go léir ina seasamh.
3 Y volviendo el rey su rostro, bendijo á toda la congregación de Israel: y toda la congregación de Israel estaba en pie.
3 Und der König wandte sein Antlitz und segnete die ganze Gemeinde Israel; denn die ganze Gemeinde Israel stand.
4 And he said, Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who himself gave his word to my father David, and with his strong hand has made his word come true, saying,
4 Et il dit: Béni soit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, qui a parlé de sa bouche à David, mon père, et qui accomplit par sa puissance ce qu'il avait déclaré en disant:
4 Dúirt sé: “Moladh leis an Tiarna, Dia Iosrael, a chuir i ngníomh ó láimh gach ar gheall sé ó bhéal do Dháiví m'athair, nuair a dúirt sé:
4 Y él dijo: Bendito sea Jehová Dios de Israel, el cual con su mano ha cumplido lo que habló por su boca á David mi padre, diciendo:
4 Und er sprach: Gelobt sei der HERR, der Gott Israels, der durch seinen Mund meinem Vater David geredet und es mit seiner Hand erfüllt hat, der da sagte:
5 From the day when I took my people out of the land of Egypt, no town in all the tribes of Israel has been marked out by me for the building of a house for the resting-place of my name; and I took no man to be a ruler over my people Israel;
5 Depuis le jour où j'ai fait sortir mon peuple du pays d'Égypte, je n'ai point choisi de ville parmi toutes les tribus d'Israël pour qu'il y fût bâti une maison où résidât mon nom, et je n'ai point choisi d'homme pour qu'il fût chef de mon peuple d'Israël;
5 ‘Ón lá a thug mé mo phobal Iosrael amach as tír na hÉigipte, níor roghnaigh mé aon chathair, in aon treibh de chuid Iosrael go léir, le teach a thógáil inti le go lonnódh m'ainm ann, ná níor roghnaigh mé aon fhear le bheith ina thaoiseach ar mo phobal Iosrael;
5 Desde el día que saqué mi pueblo de la tierra de Egipto, ninguna ciudad he elegido de todas las tribus de Israel para edificar casa donde estuviese mi nombre, ni he escogido varón que fuese príncipe sobre mi pueblo Israel.
5 Seit der Zeit, da ich mein Volk aus Ägyptenland geführt habe, habe ich keine Stadt erwählt in allen Stämmen Israels, ein Haus zu bauen, daß mein Name daselbst wäre, und habe auch keinen Mann erwählt, daß er Fürst wäre über mein Volk Israel;
6 But now I have made selection of Jerusalem, that my name might be there, and of David, to be over my people Israel.
6 mais j'ai choisi Jérusalem pour que mon nom y résidât, et j'ai choisi David pour qu'il régnât sur mon peuple d'Israël!
6 ach gur roghnaigh mé Iarúsailéim le go lonnódh m'ainm ann agus gur roghnaigh mé Dáiví le mo phobal Iosrael a rialú.’
6 Mas á Jerusalem he elegido para que en ella esté mi nombre, y á David he elegido para que fuese sobre mi pueblo Israel.
6 aber Jerusalem habe ich erwählt, daß mein Name daselbst sei, und David habe ich erwählt, daß er über mein Volk Israel sei.
7 Now it was in the heart of my father David to put up a house for the name of the Lord, the God of Israel.
7 David, mon père, avait l'intention de bâtir une maison au nom de l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël.
7 Ba é mian croí m'athar Dáiví teach a thógáil d'ainm an Tiarna, Dia Iosrael.
7 Y David mi padre tuvo en el corazón edificar casa al nombre de Jehová Dios de Israel.
7 Und da es mein Vater im Sinn hatte, ein Haus zu bauen dem Namen des HERRN, des Gottes Israels,
8 But the Lord said to David my father, You did well to have in your heart the desire to make a house for my name:
8 Et l'Éternel dit à David, mon père: Puisque tu as eu l'intention de bâtir une maison à mon nom, tu as bien fait d'avoir eu cette intention.
8 Ach dúirt an Tiarna le Dáiví m'athair: ‘Is é mian do chroí teach a thógáil do m'ainm, agus is maith uait sin;
8 Mas Jehová dijo á David mi padre: Respecto á haber tenido en tu corazón edificar casa á mi nombre, bien has hecho en haber tenido esto en tu corazón.
8 sprach der HERR zu meinem Vater David: Du hast wohl getan, daß du im Sinn hast, meinem Namen ein Haus zu bauen.
9 But you yourself will not be the builder of the house; but your son, the offspring of your body, he it is who will put up a house for my name.
9 Seulement, ce ne sera pas toi qui bâtiras la maison; mais ce sera ton fils, sorti de tes entrailles, qui bâtira la maison à mon nom.
9 ach mar sin féin ní tú an té a thógfaidh an teach; sé do mhac, an té a ghinfear ó d'fheoil féin, a thógfaidh an teach do m'ainm.’
9 Empero tú no edificarás la casa, sino tu hijo que saldrá de tus lomos, él edificará casa á mi nombre.
9 Doch du sollst das Haus nicht bauen, sondern dein Sohn, der aus deinen Lenden kommen wird, soll meinem Namen das Haus bauen.
10 And the Lord has kept his word; for I have taken my father David's place on the seat of the kingdom of Israel, as the Lord gave his word; and I have made the house for the name of the Lord the God of Israel.
10 L'Éternel a accompli la parole qu'il avait prononcée. Je me suis élevé à la place de David, mon père, et je me suis assis sur le trône d'Israël, comme l'avait annoncé l'Éternel, et j'ai bâti la maison au nom de l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël.
10 Chomhlíon an Tiarna an gealltanas a thug sé; tháinig mise i gcomharbacht ar m'athair Dáiví agus táim i mo shuí i ríchathaoir Iosrael faoi mar a gheall an Tiarna; tá an teach tógtha agam don Tiarna, Dia Iosrael,
10 Y Jehová ha cumplido su palabra que había dicho, pues levantéme yo en lugar de David mi padre, y heme sentado en el trono de Israel, como Jehová había dicho, y he edificado casa al nombre de Jehová Dios de Israel.
10 So hat nun der HERR sein Wort bestätigt, das er geredet hat; denn ich bin aufgekommen an meines Vaters David Statt und sitze auf dem Stuhl Israels, wie der HERR geredet hat, und habe ein Haus gebaut dem Namen des HERRN, des Gottes Israels,
11 And there I have put the ark, in which is the agreement of the Lord, which he made with the people of Israel.
11 J'y ai placé l'arche où est l'alliance de l'Éternel, l'alliance qu'il a faite avec les enfants d'Israël.
11 agus tá ionad déanta agam ann don áirc ina bhfuil an conradh a rinne an Tiarna le clann Iosrael.” Guí Sholaimh
11 Y en ella he puesto el arca, en la cual está el pacto de Jehová que concertó con los hijos de Israel.
11 und habe hineingetan die Lade, darin der Bund des HERRN ist, den er mit den Kindern Israel gemacht hat.
12 Then he took his place in front of the altar of the Lord, all the men of Israel being present,
12 Salomon se plaça devant l'autel de l'Éternel, en face de toute l'assemblée d'Israël, et il étendit ses mains.
12 Ansin, i láthair chomhthionól Iosrael go léir, sheas Solamh os comhair altóir an Tiarna, agus shín sé a lámha uaidh amach.
12 Púsose luego Salomón delante del altar de Jehová, en presencia de toda la congregación de Israel, y extendió sus manos.
12 Und er trat vor den Altar des HERRN vor der ganzen Gemeinde Israel und breitete seine Hände aus
13 (For Solomon had made a brass stage, five cubits long, five cubits wide and three cubits high, and had put it in the middle of the open space; on this he took his place and went down on his knees before all the meeting of Israel, stretching out his hands to heaven.)
13 Car Salomon avait fait une tribune d'airain, et l'avait mise au milieu du parvis; elle était longue de cinq coudées, large de cinq coudées, et haute de trois coudées; il s'y plaça, se mit à genoux en face de toute l'assemblée d'Israël, et étendit ses mains vers le ciel. Et il dit:
13 Bhí léibheann cré-umha déanta ag Solamh agus é leagtha i lár na cúirte aige; bhí sé cúig bhanlámh ar fhad, cúig bhanlárnh ar leithead, trí bhanlámh ar airde, agus leag sé sa chúirt é; agus ghabh sé in airde air; ansin chuaigh sé ar a ghlúine i láthair chomhthionól Iosrael go léir agus shín sé a lámha i dtreo na bhflaitheas
13 Porque Salomón había hecho un púlpito de metal, de cinco codos de largo, y de cinco codos de ancho, y de altura de tres codos, y lo había puesto en medio del atrio: y púsose sobre él, é hincóse de rodillas delante de toda la congregación de Israel, y extendiendo sus manos al cielo, dijo:
13 (denn Salomo hatte eine eherne Kanzel gemacht und gesetzt mitten in den Vorhof, fünf Ellen lang und breit und drei Ellen hoch; auf dieselbe trat er und fiel nieder auf seine Kniee vor der ganzen Gemeinde Israel und breitete seine Hände aus gen Himmel)
14 And he said, O Lord, the God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven or on earth; keeping faith and mercy unchanging for your servants, while they go in your ways with all their hearts;
14 O Éternel, Dieu d'Israël! Il n'y a point de Dieu semblable à toi, dans les cieux et sur la terre: tu gardes l'alliance et la miséricorde envers tes serviteurs qui marchent en ta présence de tout leur coeur!
14 agus dúirt: “A Thiarna, a Dhia Iosrael, níl aon Dia cosúil leatsa ar neamh thuas ná ar talamh thíos; tá tú dílis do do chonradh agus cineálta le do shearbhóntaí nuair a chloíonn siad le do chosán le hiomlán a gcroí.
14 Jehová Dios de Israel, no hay Dios semejante á ti en el cielo ni en la tierra, que guardas el pacto y la misericordia á tus siervos que caminan delante de ti de todo su corazón;
14 und sprach: HERR, Gott Israels, es ist kein Gott dir gleich, weder im Himmel noch auf Erden, der du hältst den Bund und die Barmherzigkeit deinen Knechten die vor dir wandeln aus ganzem Herzen.
15 For you have kept the word which you gave to your servant David, my father; with your mouth you said it and with your hand you have made it come true this day.
15 Ainsi tu as tenu parole à ton serviteur David, mon père; et ce que tu as déclaré de ta bouche, tu l'accomplis en ce jour par ta puissance.
15 Chomhlíon tú an gealltanas a thug tú do do shearbhónta Dáiví, m'athair; gach ar gheall tú ó bhéal, chuir tú i ngníomh ó láimh inniu.
15 Que has guardado á tu siervo David mi padre lo que le dijiste: tú lo dijiste de tu boca, mas con tu mano lo has cumplido, como parece este día.
15 Du hast gehalten deinem Knechte David, meinem Vater, was du ihm geredet hast; mit deinem Munde hast du es geredet, und mit deiner Hand hast du es erfüllt, wie es heutigestages steht.
16 So now, O Lord, the God of Israel, let your word to your servant David, my father, come true, when you said, You will never be without a man to take his place before me on the seat of the kingdom of Israel; if only your children give attention to their ways, walking in my law, as you have done before me.
16 Maintenant, Éternel, Dieu d'Israël, observe la promesse que tu as faite à David, mon père, en disant: Tu ne manqueras jamais devant moi d'un successeur assis sur le trône d'Israël, pourvu que tes fils prennent garde à leur voie et qu'ils marchent dans ma loi comme tu as marché en ma présence.
16 Agus anois, a Thiarna, a Dhia Iosrael, coinnigh an gealltanas a thug tú do do shearbhónta Dáiví á rá: ‘Ní bheidh tú choíche gan fear le suí os mo chomhair i ríchathaoir Iosrael, ar choinníoll go dtabharfaidh do chlann mhac aire dá n‑iompar agus siúl ar chosán mo dhlí mar a rinne tusa féin os mo chomhair.’
16 Ahora pues, Jehová Dios de Israel, guarda á tu siervo David mi padre lo que le has prometido, diciendo: No faltará de ti varón delante de mí, que se siente en el trono de Israel, á condición que tus hijos guarden su camino, andando en mi ley, como tú delante de mí has andado.
16 Nun, HERR, Gott Israels, halte deinem Knechte David, meinem Vater, was du ihm verheißen hast und gesagt: Es soll dir nicht gebrechen an einem Manne vor mir, der auf dem Stuhl Israels sitze, doch sofern deine Kinder ihren Weg bewahren, daß sie wandeln in meinem Gesetz, wie du vor mir gewandelt hast.
17 So now, O Lord, the God of Israel, make your word come true which you said to your servant David.
17 Qu'elle s'accomplisse donc, Éternel, Dieu d'Israël, la promesse que tu as faite à ton serviteur David!
17 Comhlíon más ea anois, a Thiarna, Dia Iosrael, na focail a labhair tú le do shearbhónta Dáiví m'athair.
17 Ahora pues, oh Jehová Dios de Israel, verifíquese tu palabra que dijiste á tu siervo David.
17 Nun, HERR, Gott Israels, laß deine Worte wahr werden, das du deinem Knechte David geredet hast.
18 But is it truly possible that God may be housed with men on earth? see, heaven and the heaven of heavens are not wide enough to be your resting-place: how much less this house which I have made:
18 Mais quoi! Dieu habiterait-il véritablement avec l'homme sur la terre? Voici, les cieux et les cieux des cieux ne peuvent te contenir: combien moins cette maison que j'ai bâtie!
18 Ach an ndéanfaidh Dia cónaí dáiríre i measc an chine dhaonna ar talamh? Mhuise ní féidir leis na flaithis féin ná lena bhflaithis siúd arís thú a choinneáil. Nach lúide mar sin is féidir leis an teach seo atá tógtha agamsa?
18 Mas ¿es verdad que Dios ha de habitar con el hombre en la tierra? He aquí, los cielos y los cielos de los cielos no pueden contenerte: ¿cuánto menos esta casa que he edificado?

19 Mas tú mirarás á la oración de tu siervo, y á su ruego, oh Jehová Dios mío, para oir el clamor y la oración con que tu siervo ora delante de ti.
19 Wende dich aber, HERR, mein Gott, zu dem Gebet deines Knechtes und zu seinem Flehen, daß du erhörest das Bitten und Beten, das dein Knecht vor dir tut;
20 That your eyes may be open to this house day and night, to this place of which you have said that you would put your name there; to give ear to the prayer which your servant may make, turning to this place.
20 Que tes yeux soient jour et nuit ouverts sur cette maison, sur le lieu dont tu as dit que là serait ton nom! Écoute la prière que ton serviteur fait en ce lieu.
20 De lá agus d'oíche bíodh do shúile ag tabhairt aire don teach seo, an áit seo inar gheall tú a dhéanfá teach do d'ainm. Éist leis an nguí a dhéanfaidh do shearbhónta san áit seo.
20 Que tus ojos estén abiertos sobre esta casa de día y de noche, sobre el lugar del cual dijiste, Mi nombre estará allí; que oigas la oración con que tu siervo ora en este lugar.
20 daß deine Augen offen seien über dies Haus Tag und Nacht, über die Stätte, dahin du deinen Namen zu stellen verheißen hast; daß du hörest das Gebet, das dein Knecht an dieser Stelle tun wird.
21 And give ear to the prayers of your servant and of your people Israel, when they make their prayers, turning to this place; give ear from heaven your living-place; and hearing have mercy.
21 Daigne exaucer les supplications de ton serviteur et de ton peuple d'Israël, lorsqu'ils prieront en ce lieu! Exauce du lieu de ta demeure, des cieux, exauce et pardonne!
21 Éist le hachainíocha do shearbhónta agus do phobail Iosrael nuair a ghuíonn siad san áit seo. Sea, éist leo ó d'áras ar neamh, agus nuair a éistfidh tú tabhair maithiúnas!
21 Asimismo que oigas el ruego de tu siervo, y de tu pueblo Israel, cuando en este lugar hicieren oración, que tú oirás desde los cielos, desde el lugar de tu morada: que oigas y perdones.
21 So höre nun das Flehen deines Knechtes und deines Volkes Israel, das sie bitten werden an dieser Stätte; höre es aber von der Stätte deiner Wohnung, vom Himmel. Und wenn du es hörst, wollest du gnädig sein.
22 If a man does wrong to his neighbour and has to take an oath, and comes before your altar to take his oath in this house:
22 Si quelqu'un pèche contre son prochain et qu'on lui impose un serment pour le faire jurer, et s'il vient jurer devant ton autel, dans cette maison,
22 “Má pheacaíonn duine in aghaidh a chomharsan agus go [nglaonn] an chomharsa mallacht sa mhullach air, agus go gcuireann sé iallach air mionn a thabhairt os comhair d'altóra sa Teampall seo,
22 Si alguno pecare contra su prójimo, y él le pidiere juramento haciéndole jurar, y el juramento viniere delante de tu altar en esta casa,
22 Wenn jemand wider seinen Nächsten sündigen wird und es wird ihm ein Eid aufgelegt, den er schwören soll, und der Eid kommt vor deinen Altar in diesem Hause:
23 Then let your ear be open in heaven, and be the judge of your servants, giving punishment to the wrongdoer, so that his sin may come on his head; and, by your decision, keeping from evil him who has done no wrong.
23 écoute-le des cieux, agis, et juge tes serviteurs; condamne le coupable, et fais retomber sa conduite sur sa tête, rends justice à l'innocent, et traite-le selon son innocence!
23 éistse ó na flaithis agus déan beart agus tabhair breith idir do shearbhóntaí; daor an ciontach agus tabhair a iompar sa mhullach air féin; cosain an fíréan agus tabhair luach saothair dó de réir a fhíréantachta.
23 Tú oirás desde los cielos, y obrarás, y juzgarás á tus siervos, dando la paga al impío, tornándole su proceder sobre su cabeza, y justificando al justo en darle conforme á su justicia.
23 so wollest du hören vom Himmel und deinem Knechte Recht verschaffen, daß du dem Gottlosen vergeltest und gibst seinen Wandel auf seinen Kopf und rechtfertigst den Gerechten und gebest ihm nach seiner Gerechtigkeit.
24 And if your people Israel are overcome in war, because of their sin against you; if they are turned to you again, honouring your name, making prayers and requesting your grace in this house:
24 Quand ton peuple d'Israël sera battu par l'ennemi, pour avoir péché contre toi; s'ils reviennent à toi et rendent gloire à ton nom, s'ils t'adressent des prières et des supplications dans cette maison,
24 Má bheireann an namhaid an bua ar do phobal Iosrael mar gur pheacaigh siad i d'aghaidh, má iompaíonn siad ar ais chugat, agus d'ainm a mholadh, agus idirghuí a dhéanamh chugat, sa teach seo,
24 Si tu pueblo Israel cayere delante de los enemigos, por haber prevaricado contra ti, y se convirtieren, y confesaren tu nombre, y rogaren delante de ti en esta casa,
24 Wenn dein Volk Israel vor seinen Feinden geschlagen wird, weil an dir gesündigt haben, und sie bekehren sich und bekennen deinen Namen, bitten und flehen vor dir in diesem Hause:
25 Then give ear from heaven, and let the sin of your people Israel have forgiveness, and take them back again to the land which you gave to them and to their fathers.
25 exauce-les des cieux, pardonne le péché de ton peuple d'Israël, et ramène-les dans le pays que tu as donné à eux et à leurs pères!
25 tabhair cluas dóibh ó na flaithis agus maith a bpeaca do do phobal Iosrael, agus tabhair ar ais iad chun na tíre a thug tú dóibh féin agus dá sinsir.
25 Tú oirás desde los cielos, y perdonarás el pecado de tu pueblo Israel, y los volverás á la tierra que diste á ellos y á sus padres.
25 so wollest du hören vom Himmel und gnädig sein der Sünde deines Volkes Israel und sie wieder in das Land bringen, das du ihnen und ihren Vätern gegeben hast.
26 When heaven is shut up and there is no rain, because of their sin against you: if they make prayers with their faces turned to this place, honouring your name and turning away from their sin when you send trouble on them:
26 Quand le ciel sera fermé et qu'il n'y aura point de pluie, à cause de leurs péchés contre toi; s'ils prient dans ce lieu et rendent gloire à ton nom, et s'ils se détournent de leurs péchés, parce que tu les auras châtiés;
26 “Nuair a dhúnfar na spéartha agus nach mbeidh aon bháisteach mar gur pheacaíodar i d'aghaidh, má dhéanann siad guí san áit seo, agus d'ainm a mholadh, agus go n‑umhlaíonn tú iad agus go ndéanann siad aithrí mar gheall ar a bpeacaí,
26 Si los cielos se cerraren, que no haya lluvias por haber pecado contra ti, si oraren á ti en este lugar, y confesaren tu nombre, y se convirtieren de sus pecados, cuando los afligieres,
26 Wenn der Himmel zugeschlossen wird, daß es nicht regnet, weil sie an dir gesündigt haben, und sie bitten an dieser Stätte und bekennen deinen Namen und bekehren sich von ihren Sünden, weil du sie gedemütigt hast:
27 Then give ear from heaven, so that the sin of your servants and the sin of your people Israel may have forgiveness, when you make clear to them the good way in which they are to go; and send rain on your land which you have given to your people for their heritage.
27 exauce-les des cieux, pardonne le péché de tes serviteurs et de ton peuple d'Israël, à qui tu enseigneras la bonne voie dans laquelle ils doivent marcher, et fais venir la pluie sur la terre que tu as donnée pour héritage à ton peuple!
27 tabhair cluas dóibh ó na flaithis, agus maith a bpeaca do do shearbhóntaí agus do do phobal Iosrael; múin dóibh cosán na fíréantachta atá le leanúint acu, agus fear fearthainn ar do thír, an tír a thug tú do do phobal mar oidhreacht.
27 Tú los oirás en los cielos, y perdonarás el pecado de tus siervos y de tu pueblo Israel, y les enseñarás el buen camino para que anden en él, y darás lluvia sobre tu tierra, la cual diste por heredad á tu pueblo.
27 so wollest du hören vom Himmel und gnädig sein der Sünde deiner Knechte und deines Volkes Israel, daß du sie den guten Weg lehrest, darin sie wandeln sollen, und regnen lassest auf dein Land, das du deinem Volk gegeben hast zu besitzen.
28 If there is no food in the land, if there is disease, if the fruits of the earth are damaged by heat or water, locust or worm; if their towns are shut in by their attackers: whatever trouble or whatever disease there may be:
28 Quand la famine, la peste, la rouille et la nielle, les sauterelles d'une espèce ou d'une autre, seront dans le pays, quand l'ennemi assiégera ton peuple dans son pays, dans ses portes, quand il y aura des fléaux ou des maladies quelconques;
28 “Má bhíonn gorta sa tír, nó plá, nó aicíd, nó coincleacha, nó lócaist, nó cruimh; má chuireann namhaid an phobail léigear ar gheata cathrach dá gcuid; má bhíonn fiabhras nó galar;
28 Y si hubiere hambre en la tierra, ó si hubiere pestilencia, si hubiere tizoncillo ó añublo, langosta ó pulgón; ó si los cercaren sus enemigos en la tierra de su domicilio; cualquiera plaga ó enfermedad que sea;
28 Wenn eine Teuerung im Lande wird oder Pestilenz oder Dürre, Brand, Heuschrecken, Raupen, oder wenn sein Feind im Lande seine Tore belagert oder irgend eine Plage oder Krankheit da ist;
29 Whatever prayer or request for your grace is made by any man, or by all your people Israel, whatever his trouble may be, whose hands are stretched out to this house:
29 si un homme, si tout ton peuple d'Israël fait entendre des prières et des supplications, et que chacun reconnaisse sa plaie et sa douleur et étende les mains vers cette maison,

29 Toda oración y todo ruego que hiciere cualquier hombre, ó todo tu pueblo Israel, cualquiera que conociere su llaga y su dolor en su corazón, si extendiere sus manos á esta casa,
29 wer dann bittet oder fleht, es seien allerlei Menschen oder dein ganzes Volk Israel, so jemand ein Plage und Schmerzen fühlt und seine Hände ausbreitet zu diesem Hause:
30 Then give ear from heaven your living-place, answering with forgiveness, and give to every man, whose secret heart is open to you, the reward of all his ways; (for you, and you only, have knowledge of the hearts of the children of men;)
30 exauce-le des cieux, du lieu de ta demeure, et pardonne; rends à chacun selon ses voies, toi qui connais le coeur de chacun, car seul tu connais le coeur des enfants des hommes,
30 tabhair cluas ó na flaithis mar a bhfuil d'áitreabh; tabhair maithiúnas agus cúitigh le cách de réir a iompair go léir, mar is eol duit gach croí - óir, is duit amháin is eol croí gach duine -
30 Tú oirás desde los cielos, desde el lugar de tu habitación, y perdonarás, y darás á cada uno conforme á sus caminos, habiendo conocido su corazón; (porque solo tú conoces el corazón de los hijos de los hombres;)
30 so wollest du hören vom Himmel, vom Sitz deiner Wohnung, und gnädig sein und jedermann geben nach all seinem Wandel, nach dem du sein Herz erkennst (denn du allein erkennst das Herz der Menschenkinder),
31 So that they may give you worship, walking in your ways, as long as they are living in the land which you gave to our fathers.
31 et ils te craindront pour marcher dans tes voies tout le temps qu'ils vivront dans le pays que tu as donné à nos pères!
31 ionas go mbeidh urraim acu duit agus go siúlfaidh siad ar do chosáin fad mhairfidh siad sa tír a thug tú dár sinsir.
31 Para que te teman y anden en tus caminos, todos los días que vivieren sobre la haz de la tierra que tú diste á nuestros padres.
31 auf daß sie dich fürchten und wandeln in deinen Wegen alle Tage, solange sie leben in dem Lande, das du unsern Vätern gegeben hast.
32 And as for the man from a strange land, who is not of your people Israel but comes from a far country because of the glory of your name and your strong hand and your outstretched arm; when he comes to make his prayer, turning to this house:
32 Quand l'étranger, qui n'est pas de ton peuple d'Israël, viendra d'un pays lointain, à cause de ton grand nom, de ta main forte et de ton bras étendu, quand il viendra prier dans cette maison,
32 “Agus an strainséir chomh maith nach mbaineann le do phobal Iosrael, má thagann sé ón imigéin ar son d'ainm, agus do láimhe tréine, agus do ghéige sínte amach - má thagann sé agus guí a dhéanamh sa Teampall seo,
32 Y también al extranjero que no fuere de tu pueblo Israel, que hubiere venido de lejanas tierras á causa de tu grande nombre, y de tu mano fuerte, y de tu brazo extendido, si vinieren, y oraren en esta casa,
32 Wenn auch ein Fremder, der nicht von deinem Volk Israel ist, kommt aus fernen Landen um deines großen Namens und deiner mächtigen Hand und deines ausgereckten Armes willen und betet vor diesem Hause:
33 Then give ear from heaven your living-place, and give him his desire, whatever it may be; so that all the peoples of the earth may have knowledge of your name, worshipping you as do your people Israel, and may see that this house which I have made is truly named by your name.
33 exauce-le des cieux, du lieu de ta demeure, et accorde à cet étranger tout ce qu'il te demandera, afin que tous les peuples de la terre connaissent ton nom pour te craindre, comme ton peuple d'Israël, et sachent que ton nom est invoqué sur cette maison que j'ai bâtie!
33 tabhair cluas dó ó na flaithis mar a bhfuil d'áitreabh, agus deonaigh gach a n‑iarrfaidh an strainséir, ionas go bhfaighidh ciníocha uile an domhain eolas ar d'ainm, agus, dála do phobail Iosrael, go mbeidh urraim acu duit, agus go mbeidh a fhios acu gur tugadh d'ainm ar an Teampall seo a thóg mé.
33 Tú oirás desde los cielos, desde el lugar de tu morada, y harás conforme á todas las cosas por las cuales hubiere clamado á ti el extranjero; para que todos los pueblos de la tierra conozcan tu nombre, y te teman como tu pueblo Israel, y sepan que tu nombre es invocado sobre esta casa que he edificado yo.
33 so wollest du hören vom Himmel, vom Sitz deiner Wohnung, und tun alles, warum er dich anruft, auf daß alle Völker auf Erden deinen Namen erkennen und dich fürchten wie dein Volk Israel und innewerden, daß dies Haus, das ich gebaut habe, nach deinem Namen genannt sei.
34 If your people go out to war against their attackers, by whatever way you may send them, if they make their prayers to you turning their faces to this town of yours and to this house which I have put up for your name:
34 Quand ton peuple sortira pour combattre ses ennemis, en suivant la voie que tu lui auras prescrite; s'ils t'adressent des prières, les regards tournés vers cette ville que tu as choisie et vers la maison que j'ai bâtie en ton nom,
34 “Má théann do phobal chun cogaidh in aghaidh a naimhde, cibé bealach ar a seolfaidh tú iad, agus má chasann siad i dtreo na cathrach a thogh tú agus i dtreo an Teampaill a thóg mé do d'ainm agus guí chugat,
34 Si tu pueblo saliere á la guerra contra sus enemigos por el camino que tú los enviares, y oraren á ti hacia esta ciudad que tú elegiste, hacia la casa que he edificado á tu nombre,
34 Wenn dein Volk auszieht in den Streit wider seine Feinde des Weges, den du sie senden wirst, und sie zu dir beten nach dieser Stadt hin, die du erwählt hast und nach dem Hause, das ich deinem Namen gebaut habe:
35 Then give ear from heaven to their prayer and their cry for grace, and see right done to them.
35 exauce des cieux leurs prières et leurs supplications, et fais-leur droit!
35 tabhair cluas ó na flaithis dá n‑impí agus dá n‑achainí agus seas leo.
35 Tú oirás desde los cielos su oración y su ruego, y ampararás su derecho.
35 so wollest du ihr Gebet und Flehen hören vom Himmel und ihnen zu ihrem Recht helfen.
36 If they do wrong against you, (for no man is without sin,) and you are angry with them, and give them up into the power of those who are fighting against them, so that they take them away prisoners to a land far off or near;
36 Quand ils pécheront contre toi, car il n'y a point d'homme qui ne pèche, quand tu seras irrité contre eux et que tu les livreras à l'ennemi, qui les emmènera captifs dans un pays lointain ou rapproché;
36 “Má pheacaíonn siad i d'aghaidh - mar níl duine beo nach ndéanann peaca - agus go dtiocfaidh fearg ort leo agus iad a thabhairt suas dá namhaid i dtreo go dtabharfaí chun siúil iad mar dhaoir go tír i gcéin nó i gcóngar;
36 Si pecaren contra ti, (pues no hay hombre que no peque,) y te airares contra ellos, y los entregares delante de sus enemigos, para que los que los tomaren los lleven cautivos á tierra de enemigos, lejos ó cerca,
36 Wenn sie an dir sündigen werden (denn es ist kein Mensch, der nicht sündige), und du über sie erzürnst und gibst sie dahin ihren Feinden, daß sie sie gefangen wegführen in ein fernes oder nahes Land,
37 And if they take thought, in the land where they are prisoners, turning again to you, crying out in prayer to you in that land, and saying, We are sinners, we have done wrong, we have done evil;
37 s'ils rentrent en eux-mêmes dans le pays où ils seront captifs, s'ils reviennent à toi et t'adressent des supplications dans le pays de leur captivité, et qu'ils disent: Nous avons péché, nous avons commis des iniquités, nous avons fait le mal!
37 má thagann ciall dóibh i dtír a ndeoraíochta agus go ndéanfaidh siad aithrí, agus guí a chur chugat i bhfearann lucht a gcloíte á rá: ‘Pheacaíomar, rinneamar an t‑olc agus an peaca,’
37 Y ellos volvieren en sí en la tierra donde fueren llevados cautivos; si se convirtieren, y oraren á ti en la tierra de su cautividad, y dijeren: Pecamos, hemos hecho inicuamente, impíamente hemos obrado;
37 und sie in ihr Herz schlagen in dem Lande, darin sie gefangen sind, und bekehren sich und flehen zu dir im Lande ihres Gefängnisses und sprechen: Wir haben gesündigt, übel getan und sind gottlos gewesen,
38 If with all their heart and soul they are turned again to you, in the land where they are prisoners, the land where they have been taken, and make their prayers, turning their eyes to their land which you gave to their fathers, and to the town which you took for yourself, and the house which I have made for your name:
38 s'ils reviennent à toi de tout leur coeur et de toute leur âme, dans le pays de leur captivité où ils ont été emmenés captifs, s'ils t'adressent des prières, les regards tournés vers leur pays que tu as donné à leurs pères, vers la ville que tu as choisie et vers la maison que j'ai bâtie à ton nom,
38 agus má iompaíonn siad ar ais chugat ó chroí go hiomlán agus ó anam go hiomlán, i dtír a ndeoraíochta, mar ar tugadh ar díbirt iad, agus má chuireann siad achainí chugat agus a n‑aghaidh i dtreo na tíre a thug tú dá sinsir, i dtreo na cathrach a thogh tú, agus i dtreo an Teampaill a thóg mé do d'ainm,
38 Si se convirtieren á ti de todo su corazón y de toda su alma en la tierra de su cautividad, donde los hubieren llevado cautivos, y oraren hacia su tierra que tú diste á sus padres, hacia la ciudad que tu elegiste, y hacia la casa que he edificado á tu nombre;
38 und sich also von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer Seele zu dir bekehren im Lande ihres Gefängnisses, da man sie gefangen hält, und sie beten nach ihrem Lande hin, das du ihren Vätern gegeben hast, nach der Stadt hin, die du erwählt hast, und nach dem Hause, das ich deinem Namen gebaut habe:
39 Then give ear from heaven your living-place to their prayer and their cry, and see right done to them, answering with forgiveness your people who have done wrong against you.
39 exauce des cieux, du lieu de ta demeure, leurs prières et leurs supplications, et fais-leur droit; pardonne à ton peuple ses péchés contre toi!
39 tabhair cluas dóibh ó na flaithis mar a bhfuil d'áitreabh, éist lena n‑achainí agus lena n‑impí agus seas leo: maith do do phobal na peacaí a rinneadar i do choinne.
39 Tú oirás desde los cielos, desde el lugar de tu morada, su oración y su ruego, y ampararás su causa, y perdonarás á tu pueblo que pecó contra ti.
39 so wollest du ihr Gebet und Flehen hören vom Himmel, vom Sitz deiner Wohnung, und ihnen zu ihrem Recht helfen und deinem Volk gnädig sein, das an dir gesündigt hat.
40 Now, O my God, may your eyes be open and your ears awake to the prayers made in this place.
40 Maintenant, ô mon Dieu, que tes yeux soient ouverts, et que tes oreilles soient attentives à la prière faite en ce lieu!
40 “Bíodh do shúile ar leathadh, a Dhia liom, agus tabhair cluas i gcónaí don urnaí a ofrálfar suas ón áit seo.
40 Ahora pues, oh Dios mío, ruégote estén abiertos tus ojos, y atentos tus oídos á la oración en este lugar.
40 So laß nun, mein Gott, deine Augen offen sein und deine Ohren aufmerken auf das Gebet an dieser Stätte.
41 Up! now, O Lord God, come back to your resting-place, you and the ark of your strength: let your priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation, and let your saints be glad in what is good.
41 Maintenant, Éternel Dieu, lève-toi, viens à ton lieu de repos, toi et l'arche de ta majesté! Que tes sacrificateurs, Éternel Dieu, soient revêtus de salut, et que tes bien-aimés jouissent du bonheur!

41 So mache dich nun auf, HERR, Gott zu deiner Ruhe, du und die Lade deiner Macht. Laß deine Priester, HERR, Gott, mit Heil angetan werden und deine Heiligen sich freuen über dem Guten.
42 O Lord God, let him whom you have taken for yourself never be given up by you: keep in mind your mercies to David your servant.
42 Éternel Dieu, ne repousse pas ton oint, souviens-toi des grâces accordées à David, ton serviteur!
