1 And David the king said to all the people, Solomon my son, the only one who has been marked out by God, is still young and untested, and the work is great, for this great house is not for man, but for the Lord God.
1 Le roi David dit à toute l'assemblée: Mon fils Salomon, le seul que Dieu ait choisi, est jeune et d'un âge faible, et l'ouvrage est considérable, car ce palais n'est pas pour un homme, mais il est pour l'Éternel Dieu.

1 Después dijo el rey David á toda la asamblea: A solo Salomón mi hijo ha elegido Dios; él es joven y tierno, y la obra grande; porque la casa no es para hombre, sino para Jehová Dios.
1 Und der König David sprach zu der ganzen Gemeinde: Gott hat Salomo, meiner Söhne einen, erwählt, der noch jung und zart ist; das Werk aber ist groß; denn es ist nicht eines Menschen Wohnung, sondern Gottes des HERRN.
2 Now as far as I am able, I have made ready what is needed for the house of my God; the gold for the things of gold, and the silver for the silver things, and the brass for the brass things, iron for the things of iron, and wood for the things of wood; beryls and jewels to be framed, and stones of different colours for ornament; all sorts of stones of great price, and polished building-stone, as much as is needed and more.
2 J'ai mis toutes mes forces à préparer pour la maison de mon Dieu de l'or pour ce qui doit être d'or, de l'argent pour ce qui doit être d'argent, de l'airain pour ce qui doit être d'airain, du fer pour ce qui doit être de fer, et du bois pour ce qui doit être de bois, des pierres d'onyx et des pierres à enchâsser, des pierres brillantes et de diverses couleurs, toutes sortes de pierres précieuses, et du marbre blanc en quantité.

3 And because this house of God is dear to me, I give my private store of gold and silver to the house of my God, in addition to all I have got ready for the holy house;
3 De plus, dans mon attachement pour la maison de mon Dieu, je donne à la maison de mon Dieu l'or et l'argent que je possède en propre, outre tout ce que j'ai préparé pour la maison du sanctuaire:
3 Agus ina theanntasan, de bhreis ar gach ar sholáthraigh mé don teach naofa, tá ciste de mo chuid féin agam d'ór agus d'airgead, agus, de bharr mo dhúthrachta do theach mo Dhé, tabharfaidh mé é do theach mo Dhé -
3 A más de esto, por cuanto tengo mi gusto en la casa de mi Dios, yo guardo en mi tesoro particular oro y plata que, además de todas las cosas que he aprestado para la casa del santuario, he dado para la casa de mi Dios;
3 Überdas, aus Wohlgefallen am Hause meines Gottes, habe ich eigenes Gutes, Gold und Silber,
4 Even three thousand talents of gold of Ophir and seven thousand talents of the best silver, for plating the walls of the house:

5 Oro pues para las cosas de oro, y plata para las cosas de plata, y para toda la obra de manos de los oficiales. ¿Y quién quiere hacer hoy ofrenda á Jehová?
5 daß golden werde, was golden, silbern, was silbern sein soll, und zu allerlei Werk durch die Hand der Werkmeister. Und wer ist nun willig, seine Hand heute dem HERRN zu füllen?
6 Then the heads of families and the chiefs of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the controllers of the king's business, freely gave themselves;

7 And they gave for the use of the house of the Lord, five thousand talents and ten thousand darics of gold, and ten thousand talents of silver, and eighteen thousand talents of brass, and a hundred thousand talents of iron.
7 Ils donnèrent pour le service de la maison de Dieu cinq mille talents d'or, dix mille dariques, dix mille talents d'argent, dix-huit mille talents d'airain, et cent mille talents de fer.

7 und gaben zum Amt im Hause Gottes fünftausend Zentner Gold und zehntausend Goldgulden und zehntausend Zentner Silber, achtzehntausend Zentner Erz und hundertausend Zentner Eisen.
8 And those who had stones of great price gave them to the store of the house of the Lord, under the care of Jehiel the Gershonite.
8 Ceux qui possédaient des pierres les livrèrent pour le trésor de la maison de l'Éternel entre les mains de Jehiel, le Guerschonite.

9 Then the people were glad because their offerings were freely given, for with a true heart they freely gave what they had to the Lord; and David the king was full of joy.
9 Le peuple se réjouit de leurs offrandes volontaires, car c'était avec un coeur bien disposé qu'ils les faisaient à l'Éternel; et le roi David en eut aussi une grande joie.

9 Y holgóse el pueblo de haber contribuído de su voluntad; porque con entero corazón ofrecieron á Jehová voluntariamente.
9 Und das Volk ward fröhlich, daß sie willig waren; denn sie gaben's von ganzem Herzen dem HERRN freiwillig. Und David, der König, freute sich auch hoch
10 So David gave praise to the Lord before all the people; and David said, Praise be to you, O Lord the God of Israel, our father for ever and ever.
10 David bénit l'Éternel en présence de toute l'assemblée. Il dit: Béni sois-tu, d'éternité en éternité, Éternel, Dieu de notre père Israël.
10 Mhol Dáiví an Tiarna i láthair an chomhthionóil ar fad agus dúirt: “Gura beannaithe thú, a Thiarna, Dia Iosrael ár sinsear, go brách na breithe.
10 Asimismo holgóse mucho el rey David, y bendijo á Jehová delante de toda la congregación; y dijo David: Bendito seas tú, oh Jehová, Dios de Israel nuestro padre, de uno á otro siglo.
10 und lobte den HERRN und sprach vor der ganzen Gemeinde: Gelobt seist du, HERR, Gott Israels, unsers Vaters, ewiglich.
11 Yours, O Lord, is the strength and the power and the glory, and the authority and the honour: for everything in heaven and on earth is yours; yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are lifted up as head over all.
11 A toi, Éternel, la grandeur, la force et la magnificence, l'éternité et la gloire, car tout ce qui est au ciel et sur la terre t'appartient; à toi, Éternel, le règne, car tu t'élèves souverainement au-dessus de tout!

12 Wealth and honour come from you, and you are ruler over all, and in your hand is power and strength; it is in your power to make great, and to give strength to all.

13 So now, our God, we give you praise, honouring the glory of your name.

14 But who am I and what is my people, that we have power to give so freely in this way? for all things come from you, and what we have given you is yours.
14 Car qui suis-je et qui est mon peuple, pour que nous puissions te faire volontairement ces offrandes? Tout vient de toi, et nous recevons de ta main ce que nous t'offrons.

14 Porque ¿quién soy yo, y quién es mi pueblo, para que pudiésemos ofrecer de nuestra voluntad cosas semejantes? porque todo es tuyo, y lo recibido de tu mano te damos.
14 Denn was bin ich? Was ist mein Volk, daß wir sollten vermögen, freiwillig so viel zu geben? Denn von dir ist alles gekommen, und von deiner Hand haben wir dir's gegeben.
15 For we, as all our fathers were, are like men from a strange country before you, who have got a place for a time in the land; our days on the earth are like a shade, and there is no hope of going on.
15 Nous sommes devant toi des étrangers et des habitants, comme tous nos pères; nos jours sur la terre sont comme l'ombre, et il n'y a point d'espérance.
15 Óir is coimhthígh sinn agus lucht cuairte i do láthair, dála ár sinsear go léir; is cuma ár seal ar talamh nó scáth gan aon tathag.
15 Porque nosotros, extranjeros y advenedizos somos delante de ti, como todos nuestros padres; y nuestros días cual sombra sobre la tierra, y no dan espera.
15 Denn wir sind Fremdlinge und Gäste vor dir wie unsre Väter alle. unser Leben auf Erden ist wie ein Schatten, und ist kein Aufhalten.
16 O Lord our God, all this store, which we have made ready for the building of a house for your holy name, comes from your hand and is yours.
16 Éternel, notre Dieu, c'est de ta main que viennent toutes ces richesses que nous avons préparées pour te bâtir une maison, à toi, à ton saint nom, et c'est à toi que tout appartient.
16 A Thiarna, a Dhia linn, tá an soláthar seo go léir curtha ar fáil againn le teach a thógáil duit i gcomhair d'ainm, ach is ó do láimhse a tháinig sé agus is leatsa é go léir.
16 Oh Jehová Dios nuestro, toda esta abundancia que hemos aprestado para edificar casa á tu santo nombre, de tu mano es, y todo es tuyo.
16 HERR, unser Gott, aller dieser Haufe, den wir zugerichtet haben, dir ein Haus zu bauen, deinem heiligen Namen, ist von deiner Hand gekommen, und ist alles dein.
17 And I am conscious, my God, that you are the searcher of hearts, taking pleasure in righteousness. As for me, with an upright heart I have freely given all these things; and I have seen with joy your people who are here to make their offerings freely to you.
17 Je sais, ô mon Dieu, que tu sondes le coeur, et que tu aimes la droiture; aussi je t'ai fait toutes ces offrandes volontaires dans la droiture de mon coeur, et j'ai vu maintenant avec joie ton peuple qui se trouve ici t'offrir volontairement ses dons.
17 Tá a fhios agam, a Dhia, go scrúdaíonn tú an croí, agus gur gean leat an t‑ionracas; d'ofráil mé na nithe seo go léir le hionracas croí agus le fonn; tá sé d'áthas agam anois do phobal anseo a fheiceáil ag ofráil a dtabhartas duit le fonn.
17 Yo sé, Dios mío, que tú escudriñas los corazones, y que la rectitud te agrada: por eso yo con rectitud de mi corazón voluntariamente te he ofrecido todo esto, y ahora he visto con alegría que tu pueblo, que aquí se ha hallado ahora, ha dado para ti espontáneamente.
17 Ich weiß, mein Gott, daß du das Herz prüfst, und Aufrichtigkeit ist dir angenehm. Darum habe ich dies alles aus aufrichtigem Herzen freiwillig gegeben und habe jetzt mit Freuden gesehen dein Volk, das hier vorhanden ist, daß es dir freiwillig gegeben hat.
18 O Lord, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the deepest thoughts of your people, and let their hearts be fixed and true to you;
18 Éternel, Dieu d'Abraham, d'Isaac et d'Israël, nos pères, maintiens à toujours dans le coeur de ton peuple ces dispositions et ces pensées, et affermis son coeur en toi.
18 A Thiarna, Dia ár sinsear, Abrahám, Íosác agus Iosrael, cumhdaigh an tnúth agus na smaointe seo i gcroí do phobail go brách agus treoraigh a gcroí chugat féin.
18 Jehová, Dios de Abraham, de Isaac, y de Israel, nuestros padres, conserva perpetuamente esta voluntad del corazón de tu pueblo, y encamina su corazón á ti.
18 HERR, Gott unsrer Väter, Abrahams, Isaaks und Israels, bewahre ewiglich solchen Sinn und Gedanken im Herzen deines Volkes und richte ihre Herzen zu dir.
19 And give to Solomon my son a true heart, to keep your orders, your rules, and your laws, and to do all these things, and to put up this great house for which I have made ready.
19 Donne à mon fils Salomon un coeur dévoué à l'observation de tes commandements, de tes préceptes et de tes lois, afin qu'il mette en pratique toutes ces choses, et qu'il bâtisse le palais pour lequel j'ai fait des préparatifs.
19 Tabhair do Sholamh mo mhac croí meáite ar d'aitheanta, do reachtanna, agus d'fhorálacha, a chomhlíonadh; go gcuire sé iad go léir i bhfeidhm agus an pálás seo a d'ullmhaigh mé duit a thógáil.”
19 Asimismo da á mi hijo Salomón corazón perfecto, para que guarde tus mandamientos, y tus testimonios y tus estatutos, y para que haga todas las cosas, y te edifique la casa para la cual yo he hecho el apresto.
19 Und meinem Sohn Salomo gib ein rechtschaffenes Herz, daß er halte deine Gebote, Zeugnisse und Rechte, daß er alles tue und baue diese Wohnung, die ich zugerichtet habe.
20 And David said to all the people, Now give praise to the Lord your God. And all the people gave praise to the Lord, the God of their fathers, with bent heads worshipping the Lord and the king.
20 David dit à toute l'assemblée: Bénissez l'Éternel, votre Dieu! Et toute l'assemblée bénit l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères. Ils s'inclinèrent et se prosternèrent devant l'Éternel et devant le roi.

20 Después dijo David á toda al congregación: Bendecid ahora á Jehová vuestro Dios. Entonces toda la congregación bendijo á Jehová Dios de sus padres, é inclinándose adoraron delante de Jehová, y del rey.
20 Und David sprach zu der ganzen Gemeinde: Lobet den HERRN, euren Gott! Und die ganze Gemeinde lobte den HERRN, den Gott ihrer Väter; und sie neigten sich und fielen nieder vor dem HERRN und vor dem König
21 And they made offerings to the Lord, and gave burned offerings to the Lord, on the day after, a thousand oxen, a thousand sheep, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and a great wealth of offerings for all Israel.
21 Le lendemain de ce jour, ils offrirent en sacrifice et en holocauste à l'Éternel mille taureaux, mille béliers et mille agneaux, avec les libations ordinaires, et d'autres sacrifices en grand nombre pour tout Israël.

21 Y sacrificaron víctimas á Jehová, y ofrecieron á Jehová holocaustos el día siguiente, mil becerros, mil carneros, mil corderos con sus libaciones, y muchos sacrificios por todo Israel.
21 und opferten dem HERRN Opfer. Und des Morgens opferten sie Brandopfer: tausend Farren, tausend Widder, tausend Lämmer mit ihren Trankopfern, und opferten die Menge unter dem ganzen Israel
22 And with great joy they made a feast before the Lord that day. And they made Solomon, the son of David, king a second time, putting the holy oil on him to make him holy to the Lord as ruler, and on Zadok as priest.
22 Ils mangèrent et burent ce jour-là devant l'Éternel avec une grande joie, ils proclamèrent roi pour la seconde fois Salomon, fils de David, ils l'oignirent devant l'Éternel comme chef, et ils oignirent Tsadok comme sacrificateur.

22 Y comieron y bebieron delante de Jehová aquel día con gran gozo; y dieron la segunda vez la investidura del reino á Salomón hijo de David, y ungiéronlo á Jehová por príncipe, y á Sadoc por sacerdote.
22 und aßen und tranken desselben Tages vor dem HERRN mit großen Freuden und machten zum zweitenmal Salomo, den Sohn Davids, zum König und salbten ihn dem HERRN zum Fürsten und Zadok zum Priester.
23 So Solomon was put on the seat of the Lord as king in place of his father David, and everything went well for him; and all Israel was under his authority.
23 Salomon s'assit sur le trône de l'Éternel, comme roi à la place de David, son père. Il prospéra, et tout Israël lui obéit.

23 Also saß Salomo auf dem Stuhl des Herrn als ein König an seines Vaters Davids Statt und ward glücklich; und ganz Israel ward ihm gehorsam.
24 And all the chiefs and the men of war and all the sons of King David put themselves under the authority of Solomon the king.

25 And the Lord made Solomon great in the eyes of all Israel, clothing him with glory and honour such as no other king in Israel had had before him.

25 Und der HERR machte Salomo immer größer vor dem Volk Israel und gab ihm ein prächtiges Königreich, wie keiner vor ihm über Israel gehabt hatte.
26 Now David, the son of Jesse, was king over all Israel.
26 David, fils d'Isaï, régna sur tout Israël.

26 Así reinó David hijo de Isaí sobre todo Israel.
26 So ist nun David, der Sohn Isais. König gewesen über ganz Israel.
27 For forty years he was ruling as king over Israel, seven years in Hebron and thirty-three years in Jerusalem.
27 Le temps qu'il régna sur Israël fut de quarante ans: à Hébron il régna sept ans, et à Jérusalem il régna trente-trois ans.
27 Bhí sé daichead bliain i réim ar Iosrael; bhí sé seacht mbliana i réim i Heabrón, agus tríocha trí bliana in Iarúsailéim.
27 Y el tiempo que reinó sobre Israel fué cuarenta años. Siete años reinó en Hebrón, y treinta y tres reinó en Jerusalem.
27 Die Zeit aber, die er König über Israel gewesen ist, ist vierzig Jahre: zu Hebron regierte er sieben Jahre und zu Jerusalem dreiunddreißig Jahre.
28 And he came to his end after a long life, full of days and great wealth and honour; and Solomon his son became king in his place.
