1 Further, David and the chiefs of the servants of the holy place made selection of certain of the sons of Asaph and of Heman and of Jeduthun for the work of prophets, to make melody with corded instruments and brass; and the number of the men for the work they had to do was:
1 David et les chefs de l'armée mirent à part pour le service ceux des fils d'Asaph, d'Héman et de Jeduthun qui prophétisaient en s'accompagnant de la harpe, du luth et des cymbales. Et voici le nombre de ceux qui avaient des fonctions à remplir.
1 Dáiví, agus na feidhmeannaigh shinsearacha, chuir siad ar leithligh: clann mhac Ásáf agus Haemán agus Iadútún, fáithe a chanadh le tionlacan ó chruit ó chláirseach agus ó chiombal, agus rinneadh liosta díobh siúd a raibh na dualgais sin le comhlíonadh acu.
1 Asimismo David y los príncipes del ejército apartaron para el ministerio á los hijos de Asaph, y de Hemán, y de Jeduthún, los cuales profetizasen con arpas, salterios, y címbalos: y el número de ellos fué, de hombres idóneos para la obra de su ministerio respectivo:
1 Und David samt den Feldhauptleuten sonderten ab zu Ämtern die Kinder Asaphs, Hemans und Jedithuns, die Propheten mit Harfen, Psaltern und Zimbeln; und sie wurden gezählt zum Werk nach ihrem Amt.
2 Of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur and Joseph and Nethaniah and Asharelah, sons of Asaph; under the direction of Asaph, acting as a prophet under the orders of the king;
2 Des fils d'Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethania et Aschareéla, fils d'Asaph, sous la direction d'Asaph qui prophétisait suivant les ordres du roi.
2 De chlann Ásáf: Zacúr, Iósaef, Natainiá, Aisearaelá. Bhí clann Ásáf faoi threoir Ásáf, a rinne fáidheoireacht faoi threoir an rí.
2 De los hijos de Asaph: Zachûr, José, Methanías, y Asareela, hijos de Asaph, bajo la dirección de Asaph, el cual profetizaba á la orden del rey.
2 Unter den Kindern Asaphs waren: Sakkur, Joseph, Nethanja, Asarela, Kinder Asaph, unter Asaph der da weissagte bei dem König.
3 Of Jeduthun: the six sons of Jeduthun, Gedaliah and Zeri and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah and Mattithiah; under the direction of their father Jeduthun who, acting as a prophet, with corded instruments gave praise and glory to the Lord.
3 De Jeduthun, les fils de Jeduthun: Guedalia, Tseri, Ésaïe, Haschabia, Matthithia et Schimeï, six, sous la direction de leur père Jeduthun qui prophétisait avec la harpe pour louer et célébrer l'Éternel.
3 De Iadútún: clann mhac Iadútún: Gadailiá, Zeirí, Íseáia, [Simeí], Haisaibiá, Maititiá; bhí seisear díobh faoi threoir Iadútún, a n‑athair, a rinne fáidheoireacht le tionlacan na cruite ag moladh agus ag móradh an Tiarna.
3 De Jeduthún: los hijos de Jeduthún, Gedalías, Sesi, Jesaías, Hasabías, y Mathithías, y Simi: seis, bajo la mano de su padre Jeduthún, el cual profetizaba con arpa, para celebrar y alabar á Jehová.
3 Von Jedithun: die Kinder Jedithuns waren: Gedalja, Sori, Jesaja, Hasabja, Matthithja, Simei, die sechs, unter ihrem Vater Jedithun, mit Harfen, der da weissagte, zu danken und zu loben den HERRN.
4 Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth;
4 D'Héman, les fils d'Héman: Bukkija, Matthania, Uziel, Schebuel, Jerimoth, Hanania, Hanani, Éliatha, Guiddalthi, Romamthi Ézer, Joschbekascha, Mallothi, Hothir, Machazioth,
4 De Haemán: clann mhac Haemán: Buicíá, Matainiá, Uizíéil, Seabúéil, Iaraemót, Hanainiá, Hanáiní, Eilíátá, Giodailtí, Romaimtí Eizir, Iosbacáiseá, Malóití, Hóitír, Machaizíót.
4 De Hemán: los hijos de Hemán, Buccia, Mathanía, Uzziel, Sebuel, Jerimoth, Hananías, Hanani, Eliatha, Gidalthi, Romamti-ezer, Josbecasa, Mallothi, Othir, y Mahazioth.
4 Von Heman: die Kinder Hemans waren: Bukkia, Matthanja, Usiel, Sebuel, Jerimoth, Hananja, Hanani, Eliatha, Giddalthi, Romamthi-Eser, Josbekasa, Mallothi, Hothir und Mahesioth.
5 All these were sons of Heman, the king's seer in the words of God. And to make great his power God gave Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
5 tous fils d'Héman, qui était voyant du roi pour révéler les paroles de Dieu et pour exalter sa puissance; Dieu avait donné à Héman quatorze fils et trois filles.
5 Clann mhac Haemán an fáidh iadsan go léir. Ba iad a shéideadh an stoc mar thionlacan le briathra Dé. Bhronn Dia ceathrar mac déag agus triúr iníon ar Haemán.
5 Todos estos fueron hijos de Hemán, vidente del rey en palabras de Dios, para ensalzar el poder suyo: y dió Dios á Hemán catorce hijos y tres hijas.
5 Diese waren alle Kinder Hemans, des Sehers des Königs in den Worten Gottes, das Horn zu erheben; denn Gott hatte Heman vierzehn Söhne und drei Töchter gegeben.
6 All these, under the direction of their father, made music in the house of the Lord, with brass and corded instruments, for the worship of the house of God; Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the orders of the king.
6 Tous ceux-là étaient sous la direction de leurs pères, pour le chant de la maison de l'Éternel, et avaient des cymbales, des luths et des harpes pour le service de la maison de Dieu. Asaph, Jeduthun et Héman recevaient les ordres du roi.
6 Chanaidís go léir i dTeampall an Tiarna faoi threoir a n‑athar, le tionlacan an chiombail, na cruite, na clairsí, i gcomhair an liotúirge i dteach an Tiarna faoi threoir an rí. Maidir le hÁsáf, Iadútún agus Haemán,
6 Y todos estos estaban bajo la dirección de su padre en la música, en la casa de Jehová, con címbalos, salterios y arpas, para el ministerio del templo de Dios, por disposición del rey acerca de Asaph, de Jeduthún, y de Hemán.
6 Diese waren alle unter ihren Vätern Asaph, Jedithun und Heman, zu singen im Hause des HERRN mit Zimbeln, Psaltern und Harfen, nach dem Amt im Hause Gottes bei dem König.
7 And the number of them, with their brothers who were trained and expert in making melody to the Lord, was two hundred and eighty-eight.
7 Ils étaient au nombre de deux cent quatre-vingt-huit, y compris leurs frères exercés au chant de l'Éternel, tous ceux qui étaient habiles.
7 an méid díobh a bhí oilte le canadh don Tiarna, cláraíodh iad lena ngaolta; ba é líon na ndaoine a cláraíodh ná dhá chéad agus ochtó a hocht.
7 Y el número de ellos con sus hermanos instruídos en música de Jehová, todos los aptos, fué doscientos ochenta y ocho.
7 Und es war ihre Zahl samt ihren Brüdern, die im Gesang des HERRN gelehrt waren, allesamt Meister, zweihundertachtundachtzig.
8 And selection was made of them for their special work, all having equal chances, small as well as great, the teacher as the learner.
8 Ils tirèrent au sort pour leurs fonctions, petits et grands, maîtres et disciples.
8 Cuireadh a dtéarmaí dualgais ar cranna dóibh go léir, idir shóisear agus shinsear, idir mháistir agus dhalta.
8 Y echaron suertes para los turnos del servicio, entrando el pequeño con el grande, lo mismo el maestro que el discípulo.
8 Und sie warfen das Los über ihre Ämter zugleich, dem Jüngeren wie dem Älteren, dem Lehrer wie dem Schüler.
9 Now of the group of Asaph, the first name to come out was Joseph; the second Gedaliah; he and his brothers and sons were twelve?
9 Le premier sort échut, pour Asaph, à Joseph; le second, à Guedalia, lui, ses frères et ses fils, douze;
9 Ba é an chéad duine ar ar thit an crann an tÁsáfach, Iósaef; an dara duine, Gadailiá, a chlann mhac agus a bhráithre, dháréag ar fad.
9 Y la primera suerte salió por Asaph, á José: la segunda á Gedalías, quien con sus hermanos é hijos fueron doce;

10 The third Zaccur, with his sons and his brothers, twelve;

11 The fourth Izri, with his sons and his brothers, twelve;
