1 Then David said, This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar for Israel's burned offerings.
1 Et David dit: Ici sera la maison de l'Éternel Dieu, et ici sera l'autel des holocaustes pour Israël.
1 Ansin dúirt Dáiví: “Anseo a bheidh teach an Tiarna, Dia; anseo a bheidh altóir an uileloiscthe d'Iosrael.”
1 Y Dijo David: Esta es la casa de Jehová Dios, y este es el altar del holocausto para Israel.
1 Und David sprach: Hier soll das Haus Gottes des HERRN sein und dies ist der Altar zum Brandopfer Israels.
2 And David gave orders to get together all the men from strange lands who were in the land of Israel; and he put stone-cutters to work, cutting stones for building the house of God.
2 David fit rassembler les étrangers qui étaient dans le pays d'Israël, et il chargea des tailleurs de pierres de préparer des pierres de taille pour la construction de la maison de Dieu.
2 Thug Dáiví ordú na daoine deoranta go léir a bhí ag cur fúthu i dtír Iosrael a chruinniú le chéile; agus chuir sé lucht gearrtha cloch ag soláthar cloch gearrtha le haghaidh tógáil theach Dé.
2 Después mandó David que se juntasen los extranjeros que estaban en la tierra de Israel, y señaló de ellos canteros que labrasen piedras para edificar la casa de Dios.
2 Und David ließ versammeln die Fremdlinge, die im Lande Israel waren, und bestellte Steinmetzen, Steine zu hauen, das Haus Gottes zu bauen.
3 And he got together a great store of iron, for the nails for the doors and for the joins; and brass, more in weight than might be measured;
3 Il prépara aussi du fer en abondance pour les clous des battants des portes et pour les crampons, de l'airain en quantité telle qu'il n'était pas possible de le peser,
3 Rinne Dáiví freisin soláthairtí móra iarainn a bhailiú le chéile le tairní a dhéanamh do chomhlaí na ndoirse agus tuislí; agus bhailigh sé níos mó cré-umha ná mar d'fhéadfaí a mheá,
3 Asimismo aparejó David mucho hierro para la clavazón de las puertas, y para las junturas; y mucho metal sin peso, y madera de cedro sin cuenta.
3 Und David bereitet viel Eisen zu Nägeln an die Türen in den Toren und zu Klammern und so viel Erz, daß es nicht zu wägen war,
4 And cedar-trees without number, for the Zidonians and the men of Tyre came with a great amount of cedar-trees for David.
4 et des bois de cèdre sans nombre, car les Sidoniens et les Tyriens avaient amené à David des bois de cèdre en abondance.
4 agus bíomaí céadair gan áireamh, mar thug na Síodónaigh agus na Tuírigh freisin raidhse céadair chuig Dáiví.
4 Porque los Sidonios y Tirios habían traído á David madera de cedro innumerable.
4 Auch Zedernholz ohne Zahl; denn die von Sidon und Tyrus brachten viel Zedernholz zu David.
5 And David said, Solomon my son is young and untested, and the house which is to be put up for the Lord is to be very great, a thing of wonder and glory through all countries; so I will make ready what is needed for it. So David got ready a great store of material before his death.
5 David disait: Mon fils Salomon est jeune et d'un âge faible, et la maison qui sera bâtie à l'Éternel s'élèvera à un haut degré de renommée et de gloire dans tous les pays; c'est pourquoi je veux faire pour lui des préparatifs. Et David fit beaucoup de préparatifs avant sa mort.
5 Ansin dúirt Dáiví: “Fear óg gan taithí na mblianta is ea mo mhac Solamh, agus an teach atá le tógáil don Tiarna, ní foláir é a bheith an-taibhseach agus clú agus ainm in airde a bheith air i ngach tír. Déanfaidh mé ullmhú ina chomhair dá bhrí sin.” Rinne Dáiví más ea, go leor ullmhúcháin roimh éag dó.
5 Y dijo David: Salomón mi hijo es muchacho y tierno, y la casa que se ha de edificar á Jehová ha de ser magnífica por excelencia, para nombre y honra en todas las tierras; ahora pues yo le aparejaré lo necesario. Y preparó David antes de su muerte en grande abundancia.
5 Denn David gedachte: Mein Sohn Salomo ist jung und zart; das Haus aber, das dem HERRN soll gebaut werden, soll groß sein, daß sein Name und Ruhm erhoben werde in allen Landen; darum will ich Vorrat schaffen. Also schaffte David viel Vorrat vor seinem Tode.
6 Then he sent for his son Solomon, and gave him orders for the building of a house for the Lord, the God of Israel.
6 David appela Salomon, son fils, et lui ordonna de bâtir une maison à l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël.
6 Chuir sé fios ar a mhac Solamh ansin agus leag de chúram air teach a thógáil don Tiarna Dia Iosrael.
6 Llamó entonces David á Salomón su hijo, y mandóle que edificase casa á Jehová Dios de Israel.
6 Und er rief seinem Sohn Salomo und gebot ihm, zu bauen das Haus des HERRN, des Gottes Israels,
7 And David said to Solomon, My son, it was my desire to put up a house for the name of the Lord my God.
7 David dit à Salomon: Mon fils, j'avais l'intention de bâtir une maison au nom de l'Éternel, mon Dieu.
7 “A mhic,” arsa Dáiví le Solamh, “bhí mé meáite i mo chroí ar theach a thógáil d'ainm an Tiarna mo Dhia.
7 Y dijo David á Salomón: Hijo mío, en mi corazón tuve el edificar templo al nombre de Jehová mi Dios.
7 und sprach zu ihm: Mein Sohn, ich hatte es im Sinn, dem Namen des HERRN, meines Gottes, ein Haus zu bauen.
8 But the word of the Lord came to me saying, You have taken lives without number and made great wars; I will not let you be the builder of a house for my name, because of the lives you have taken on the earth before my eyes.
8 Mais la parole de l'Éternel m'a été ainsi adressée: Tu as versé beaucoup de sang, et tu as fait de grandes guerres; tu ne bâtiras pas une maison à mon nom, car tu as versé devant moi beaucoup de sang sur la terre.
8 Ach tháinig briathar an Tiarna chugam á rá: ‘Dhoirt tú a lán fola agus d'fhear tú cogaí móra; ní thógfaidh tú teach do m'ainm mar gur dhoirt tú an oiread sin fola ar an talamh i mo láthair.
8 Mas vino á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo: Tú has derramado mucha sangre, y has traído grandes guerras: no edificarás casa á mi nombre, porque has derramado mucha sangre en la tierra delante de mí:
8 Aber das Wort des HERRN kam zu mir und sprach: Du hast viel Blut vergossen und große Kriege geführt; darum sollst du meinem Namen nicht ein Haus bauen, weil du so viel Blutes auf die Erde vergossen hast vor mir.
9 But you will have a son who will be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from wars on every side. His name will be Solomon, and in his time I will give Israel peace and quiet;
9 Voici, il te naîtra un fils, qui sera un homme de repos, et à qui je donnerai du repos en le délivrant de tous ses ennemis d'alentour; car Salomon sera son nom, et je ferai venir sur Israël la paix et la tranquillité pendant sa vie.
9 Ach, féach, rugadh mac duit. Beidh seisean ina fhear síochána, agus tabharfaidh mé síocháin dó ó na naimhde go léir atá ina thimpeall; mar Solamh [mac na síochána] is ainm dó agus tabharfaidh mé síocháin agus suaimhneas d'Iosrael lena linn.
9 He aquí, un hijo te nacerá, el cual será varón de reposo, porque yo le daré quietud de todos sus enemigos en derredor; por tanto su nombre será Salomón; y yo daré paz y reposo sobre Israel en sus días:
9 Siehe, der Sohn, der dir geboren soll werden, der wird ein Mann der Ruhe sein; denn ich will ihn ruhen lassen von all seinen Feinden umher; denn er soll Salomo heißen; denn ich will Frieden und Ruhe geben über Israel sein Leben lang.
10 He will be the builder of a house for my name; he will be to me a son, and I will be to him a father; and I will make the seat of his rule over Israel certain for ever.
10 Ce sera lui qui bâtira une maison à mon nom. Il sera pour moi un fils, et je serai pour lui un père; et j'affermirai pour toujours le trône de son royaume en Israël.
10 Tógfaidh sé teach do m'ainm; beidh sé mar mhac agam agus beidh mise mar athair aige, agus daingneoidh mé a chathaoir rí in Iosrael go brách.’
10 El edificará casa á mi nombre, y él me será á mí por hijo, y yo le seré por padre; y afirmaré el trono de su reino sobre Israel para siempre.
10 Der soll meinem Namen ein Haus bauen. Er soll mein Sohn sein, und ich will sein Vater sein. Und ich will seinen königlichen Stuhl über Israel bestätigen ewiglich.
11 Now, my son, may the Lord be with you; and may you do well, and put up the house of the Lord your God, as he has said of you.
11 Maintenant, mon fils, que l'Éternel soit avec toi, afin que tu prospères et que tu bâtisses la maison de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, comme il l'a déclaré à ton égard!
11 Go raibh an Tiarna leat anois, a mhic, agus go gcuire sé an rath ort, ag tógáil tí don Tiarna do Dhia, mar a dúirt sé i do thaobh.
11 Ahora pues, hijo mío, sea contigo Jehová, y seas prosperado, y edifiques casa á Jehová tu Dios, como él ha dicho de ti.
11 So wird nun, mein Sohn, der HERR mit dir sein und es wird dir gelingen, daß du dem HERRN, deinem Gott, ein Haus bauest, wie er von dir geredet hat.
12 Only may the Lord give you wisdom, and knowledge of his orders for Israel, so that you may keep the law of the Lord your God.
12 Veuille seulement l'Éternel t'accorder de la sagesse et de l'intelligence, et te faire régner sur Israël dans l'observation de la loi de l'Éternel, ton Dieu!
12 Agus fairis sin go dtuga sé eagna agus tuiscint duit, i dtreo, nuair a chuirfidh sé i bhfeighil Iosrael thú, go gcoimeádfaidh tú dlí an Tiarna do Dhia.
12 Y Jehová te dé entendimiento y prudencia, y él te dé mandamientos para Israel; y que tú guardes la ley de Jehová tu Dios.
12 Auch wird der HERR dir geben Klugheit und Verstand und wird dir Israel befehlen, daß du haltest das Gesetz des HERRN, deines Gottes.
13 And all will go well for you, if you take care to keep the laws and the rules which the Lord gave to Moses for Israel: be strong and take heart; have no fear and do not be troubled.
13 Alors tu prospéreras, si tu as soin de mettre en pratique les lois et les ordonnances que l'Éternel a prescrites à Moïse pour Israël. Fortifie-toi et prends courage, ne crains point et ne t'effraie point.
13 Rithfidh leat ansin má chomhlíonann tú le barr cúraim na reachtanna agus na dlíthe a leag an Tiarna ar Mhaois d'Iosrael. Bíodh fuinneamh agus misneach agat! Ná bíodh eagla ná meatacht ort!
13 Entonces serás prosperado, si cuidares de poner por obra los estatutos y derechos que Jehová mandó á Moisés para Israel. Esfuérzate pues, y cobra ánimo; no temas, ni desmayes.
13 Dann aber wirst du Glück haben, wenn du dich hältst, daß du tust nach den Geboten und Rechten, die der HERR dem Mose geboten hat an Israel. Sei getrost und unverzagt, fürchte dich nicht und zage nicht!
14 Now see, poor though I am, I have got ready for the house of the Lord a hundred thousand talents of gold and a million talents of silver; and a weight of brass and iron greater than may be measured; and wood and stone have I made ready, and you may put more to it.
14 Voici, par mes efforts, j'ai préparé pour la maison de l'Éternel cent mille talents d'or, un million de talents d'argent, et une quantité d'airain et de fer qu'il n'est pas possible de peser, car il y en a en abondance; j'ai aussi préparé du bois et des pierres, et tu en ajouteras encore.
14 Dá [bhoichte] mé, tá céad míle tallann óir curtha i leataobh agam, milliún tallann airgid, agus oiread umha agus iarainn nach féidir a thomhas, le toirt. Tá adhmad agus clocha curtha i dtaisce agam agus ní mór duit cur leo.
14 He aquí, yo en mi estrechez he prevenido para la casa de Jehová cien mil talentos de oro, y un millar de millares de talentos de plata: no tiene peso el metal ni el hierro, porque es mucho. Asimismo he aprestado madera y piedra, á lo cual tú añadirás.
14 Siehe ich habe in meiner Mühsal geschafft zum Hause des HERRN hunderttausend Zentner Gold und tausendmal tausend Zentner Silber, dazu Erz und Eisen ohne Zahl; denn es ist zu viel. Auch Holz und Steine habe ich zugerichtet; des magst du noch mehr machen.
15 And you have a great number of workmen, cutters and workers of stone and wood, and experts in every sort of work,
15 Tu as auprès de toi un grand nombre d'ouvriers, des tailleurs de pierres, et des charpentiers, et des hommes habiles dans toute espèce d'ouvrages.
15 Tá a lán oibrithe agat: lucht gearrtha cloch, saoir, siúinéirí, ceardaithe de gach sórt atá oilte
15 Tú tienes contigo muchos oficiales, canteros, albañiles, y carpinteros, y todo hombre experto en toda obra.
15 So hast du viel Arbeiter, Steinmetzen und Zimmerleute an Stein und Holz, und allerlei Meister in allerlei Arbeit,
16 In gold and silver and brass and iron more than may be numbered. Up! then, and to work; and may the Lord be with you.
16 L'or, l'argent, l'airain et le fer, sont sans nombre. Lève-toi et agis, et que l'Éternel soit avec toi!
16 ar shaothar óir agus airgid agus cré-umha agus iarainn. Corraigh ort dá bhrí sin agus bí ag obair agus go raibh an Tiarna leat!”
16 Del oro, de la plata, del metal, y del hierro, no hay número. Levántate pues, y á la obra; que Jehová será contigo.
16 an Gold, Silber, Erz und Eisen ohne Zahl. So mache dich auf und richte es aus; der HERR wird mit dir sein!
17 Then David gave orders to all the chiefs of Israel to give their help to Solomon his son, saying,
17 David ordonna à tous les chefs d'Israël de venir en aide à Salomon, son fils.
17 D'ordaigh Dáiví do cheannairí uile Iosrael cabhrú le Solamh a mhac á rá:
17 Asimismo mandó David á todos los principales de Israel que diesen ayuda á Salomón su hijo, diciendo:
17 Und David gebot allen Obersten Israels, daß sie seinem Sohn Salomo hülfen.
18 Is not the Lord your God with you? and has he not given you rest on every side? for the Lord has given the people of the land into my hands, and the land is overcome before the Lord and before his people.
18 L'Éternel, votre Dieu, n'est-il pas avec vous, et ne vous a-t-il pas donné du repos de tous côtés? Car il a livré entre mes mains les habitants du pays, et le pays est assujetti devant l'Éternel et devant son peuple.
18 “Nach bhfúil an Tiarna bhur nDia in éineacht libh? Nach bhfúil síocháin tugtha aige daoibh máguaird ar gach taobh? Mar thug sé lucht áitribh na tíre faoi mo bhois dom, agus tá an tír ar fad tugtha faoi smacht an Tiarna agus a phobail.
18 ¿No es con vosotros Jehová vuestro Dios, el cual os ha dado quietud de todas partes? porque él ha entregado en mi mano los moradores de la tierra, y la tierra ha sido sujetada delante de Jehová, y delante de su pueblo.
18 "Ist nicht der HERR, euer Gott, mit euch und hat euch Ruhe gegeben umher? Denn er hat die Einwohner des Landes in meine Hand gegeben, und das Land ist unterworfen dem HERRN und seinem Volk.
19 Now give your heart and soul to the worship of the Lord your God; and get to work on the building of the holy place of the Lord God, so that you may put the ark of the Lord's agreement and the holy vessels of God in the house which is to be made for the name of the Lord.
19 Appliquez maintenant votre coeur et votre âme à chercher l'Éternel, votre Dieu; levez-vous, et bâtissez le sanctuaire de l'Éternel Dieu, afin d'amener l'arche de l'alliance de l'Éternel et les ustensiles consacrés à Dieu dans la maison qui sera bâtie au nom de l'Éternel.
