1 Now when David was living in his house, he said to Nathan the prophet, See, I am living in a house of cedar-wood, but the ark of the Lord's agreement is under the curtains of a tent.
1 Lorsque David fut établi dans sa maison, il dit à Nathan le prophète: Voici, j'habite dans une maison de cèdre, et l'arche de l'alliance de l'Éternel est sous une tente.
1 A luaithe a bhí Dáiví socair ina theach, dúirt sé leis an bhfáidh Nátán: “Féach! táimse ag cur fúm i dteach céadair, ach tá áirc chonradh an Tiarna faoi dhíon botha.”
1 Y Acontecio que morando David en su casa, dijo David al profeta Nathán: He aquí yo habito en casa de cedro, y el arca del pacto de Jehová debajo de cortinas.
1 Es begab sich, da David in seinem Hause wohnte, sprach er zu dem Propheten Nathan: Siehe, ich wohne in einem Zedernhaus, und die Lade des Bundes des HERRN ist unter Teppichen.
2 And Nathan said to David, Do whatever is in your heart, for God is with you.
2 Nathan répondit à David: Fais tout ce que tu as dans le coeur, car Dieu est avec toi.
2 Dúirt Nátán le Dáiví: “Déan gach uile ní is áil le do chroí, óir tá Dia leat.”
2 Y Nathán dijo á David: Haz todo lo que está en tu corazón, porque Dios es contigo.
2 Nathan sprach zu David: Alles was in deinem Herzen ist, das tue; denn Gott ist mit dir.
3 But that same night, the word of God came to Nathan, saying,
3 La nuit suivante, la parole de Dieu fut adressée à Nathan:
3 Ach an oíche cheannann chéanna tháinig briathar an Tiarna go Nátán:
3 En aquella misma noche fué palabra de Dios á Nathán, diciendo:
3 Aber in derselben Nacht kam das Wort Gottes zu Nathan und sprach:
4 Go and say to David my servant, The Lord says, You are not to make me a house for my living-place:
4 Va dire à mon serviteur David: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Ce ne sera pas toi qui me bâtiras une maison pour que j'en fasse ma demeure.
4 “Imigh leat agus abair le mo shearbhónta Dáiví: ‘Seo mar a labhraíonn an Tiarna: Ní tusa an té atá le teach a thógáil dom ina ndéanfaidh mé cónaí.
4 Ve y di á David mi siervo: Así ha dicho Jehová: Tú no me edificarás casa en que habite:
4 Gehe hin und sage David, meinem Knecht: So spricht der HERR: Du sollst mir nicht ein Haus bauen zur Wohnung.
5 For from the day when I took Israel up, till this day, I have had no house, but have gone from tent to tent, and from living-place to living-place.
5 Car je n'ai point habité dans une maison depuis le jour où j'ai fait monter Israël jusqu'à ce jour; mais j'ai été de tente en tente et de demeure en demeure.
5 Níor fhan mé i dteach riamh ón lá a thug mé Iosrael amach go dtí an lá inniu, ach ag gabháil ó bhoth go both, ó dhíon go díon.
5 Porque no he habitado en casa alguna desde el día que saqué á los hijos de Israel hasta hoy; antes estuve de tienda en tienda, y de tabernáculo en tabernáculo.
5 Denn ich habe in keinem Hause gewohnt von dem Tage an, da ich die Kinder Israel ausführte, bis auf diesen Tag; sondern bin gewesen, wo die Hütte gewesen ist und die Wohnung.
6 In all the places where I have gone with all Israel, did I ever say to any of the judges of Israel, whom I made the keepers of my people, Why have you not made for me a house of cedar?
6 Partout où j'ai marché avec tout Israël, ai-je dit un mot à quelqu'un des juges d'Israël à qui j'avais ordonné de paître mon peuple, ai-je dit: Pourquoi ne me bâtissez-vous pas une maison de cèdre?
6 Le linn mo chuid taistil go léir le hIosrael go léir, ar dhúirt mé le haon duine de bhreithiúna Iosrael a bhí ceaptha agam mar thréadaithe ar Iosrael mo phobal: Cén fáth nár thóg tú teach céadair dom?’
6 En todo cuanto anduve con todo Israel ¿hablé una palabra á alguno de los jueces de Israel, á los cuales mandé que apacentasen mi pueblo, para decirles: Por qué no me edificáis una casa de cedro?
6 Wo ich wandelte im ganzen Israel, habe ich auch zu der Richter einem in Israel je gesagt, denen ich gebot zu weiden mein Volk, und gesprochen: Warum baut ihr mir nicht ein Zedernhaus?
7 So now, say to my servant David, The Lord of armies says, I took you from the fields, from keeping sheep, so that you might be a ruler over my people Israel;
7 Maintenant tu diras à mon serviteur David: Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Je t'ai pris au pâturage, derrière les brebis, pour que tu fusses chef de mon peuple d'Israël;
7 Seo an rud is gá duit á rá le mo shearbhónta Dáiví: ‘Deir Tiarna na Slua an méid seo: Thug mé ón talamh féaraigh thú agus ó ghiollacht na gcaorach chun go mbeifeá i do thaoiseach ar Iosrael, mo phobal.
7 Por tanto, ahora dirás á mi siervo David: Así dijo Jehová de los ejércitos: Yo te tomé de la majada, de detrás del ganado, para que fueses príncipe sobre mi pueblo Israel;
7 So sprich nun also zu meinem Knecht David: So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Ich habe dich genommen von der Weide hinter den Schafen, daß du solltest sein ein Fürst über mein Volk Israel,
8 And I have been with you wherever you went, cutting off before you all those who were against you; and I will make your name like the name of the greatest ones of the earth.
8 j'ai été avec toi partout où tu as marché, j'ai exterminé tous tes ennemis devant toi, et j'ai rendu ton nom semblable au nom des grands qui sont sur la terre;
8 Gach slógadh dá ndearna tú, bhí mé in éineacht leat; rinne mé do naimhde go léir a threascairt romhat. An dream is mó ar talamh, ní mó a gclú ná an clú a thabharfaidh mé duitse.
8 Y he sido contigo en todo cuanto has andado, y he talado á todos tus enemigos de delante de ti, y hete hecho grande nombre, como el nombre de los grandes que son en la tiera.
8 und bin mit dir gewesen, wo du hin gegangen bist, und habe deine Feinde ausgerottet vor dir und habe dir einen Namen gemacht, wie die Großen auf Erden Namen haben.
9 And I will make a resting-place for my people Israel, planting them there, so that they may be in the place which is theirs and never again be moved; and never again will they be made waste by evil men, as they were at first,
9 j'ai donné une demeure à mon peuple d'Israël, et je l'ai planté pour qu'il y soit fixé et ne soit plus agité, pour que les méchants ne le détruisent plus comme auparavant
9 Cuirfidh mé áit ar fáil do mo phobal Iosrael. Suífidh mé ansin iad agus déanfaidh siad cónaí ina n‑áit féin agus ní chuirfear isteach orthu arís, ní bheidh cos ar bolg á imirt ag na drochdhaoine orthu mar a bhíodh
9 Asimismo he dispuesto lugar á mi pueblo Israel, y lo he plantado para que habite por sí, y que no sea más conmovido: ni los hijos de iniquidad lo consumirán más, como antes,
9 Und ich will meinem Volk Israel eine Stätte setzen und will es pflanzen, daß es daselbst wohnen soll und nicht mehr bewegt werde; und die bösen Leute sollen es nicht mehr schwächen wie vormals und zu den Zeiten, da ich den Richtern gebot über mein Volk Israel.
10 From the time when I put judges over my people Israel; and I will overcome all those who are against you; and I will make you great and the head of a line of kings.
10 et comme à l'époque où j'avais établi des juges sur mon peuple d'Israël. J'ai humilié tous tes ennemis. Et je t'annonce que l'Éternel te bâtira une maison.
10 an uair úd a cheap mé breithiúna ar mo phobal Iosrael. Déanfaidh mé do naimhde go léir a chloí; [déanfaidh mé mór thú]; déanfaidh an Tiarna teaghlach díot.
10 Y desde el tiempo que puse los jueces sobre mi pueblo Israel; mas humilllaré á todos tus enemigos. Hágote además saber que Jehová te ha de edificar casa.
10 Und ich will alle deine Feinde demütigen und verkündige dir, daß der HERR dir ein Haus bauen will.
11 And when the time comes for you to go to your fathers, I will put in your place your seed after you, one of your sons, and I will make his kingdom strong.
11 Quand tes jours seront accomplis et que tu iras auprès de tes pères, j'élèverai ta postérité après toi, l'un de tes fils, et j'affermirai son règne.
11 Agus nuair a bheidh deireadh le do ré agus go gcaithfidh tú dul ar shlí do shinsear, ardóidh mé do shíol i do dhiaidh, mac leat féin, agus daingneoidh mé a fhlaitheas.
11 Y será que, cuando tus días fueren cumplidos para irte con tus padres, levantaré tu simiente después de ti, la cual será de tus hijos, y afirmaré su reino.
11 Wenn aber deine Tage aus sind, daß du hingehst zu deinen Vätern, so will ich dir Samen erwecken, der deiner Söhne einer sein soll; dem will ich sein Königreich bestätigen.
12 He will be the builder of my house, and I will make the seat of his authority certain for ever.
12 Ce sera lui qui me bâtira une maison, et j'affermirai pour toujours son trône.
12 Eisean a thógfaidh teach dom, agus daingneoidh mé a chathaoir ríoga go deo.
12 El me edificará casa, y yo confirmaré su trono eternalmente.
12 Der soll mir ein Haus bauen, und ich will seinen Stuhl bestätigen ewiglich.
13 I will be to him a father and he will be to me a son; and I will not take my mercy away from him as I took it from him who was before you;
13 Je serai pour lui un père, et il sera pour moi un fils; et je ne lui retirerai point ma grâce, comme je l'ai retirée à celui qui t'a précédé.
13 Beidh mé i m'athair aige, agus eisean ina mhac agam; ní tharraingeoidh mé mo bhuanghrá uaidh, mar a rinne mé leis an bhfear a chuaigh romhat.
13 Yo le seré por padre, y él me será por hijo: y no quitaré de él mi misericordia, como la quité de aquel que fué antes de ti;
13 Ich will sein Vater sein, und er soll mein Sohn sein. Und ich will meine Barmherzigkeit nicht von ihm wenden, wie ich sie von dem gewandt habe, der vor dir war;
14 But I will make his place in my house and in my kingdom certain for ever; and the seat of his authority will never be overturned.
14 Je l'établirai pour toujours dans ma maison et dans mon royaume, et son trône sera pour toujours affermi.
14 Déanfaidh mé é a chaomhnú go deo i mo theach agus i mo ríocht, agus beidh a ríchathaoir go daingean go deo.’ ”
14 Mas yo lo confirmaré en mi casa y en mi reino eternalmente; y su trono será firme para siempre.
14 sondern ich will ihn setzen in mein Haus und in mein Königreich ewiglich, daß sein Stuhl beständig sei ewiglich.
15 So Nathan gave David an account of all these words and this vision.
15 Nathan rapporta à David toutes ces paroles et toute cette vision.
15 D'inis Nátán na briathra sin go léir agus an foilsiú sin ar fad do Dháiví. Guí Dháiví
15 Conforme á todas estas palabras, y conforme á toda esta visión, así habló Nathán á David.
15 Und da Nathan nach allen diesen Worten und all diesem Gesicht mit David redete,
16 Then David the king went in and took his seat before the Lord, and said, Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my family, that you have been my guide till now?
16 Et le roi David alla se présenter devant l'Éternel, et dit: Qui suis-je, Éternel Dieu, et quelle est ma maison, pour que tu m'aies fait parvenir où je suis?
16 Chuaigh Dáiví rí isteach, shuigh os comhair an Tiarna agus dúirt: “Cé hé mise, a Thiarna Dia, agus cad é mo theaghlach, chun gur threoraigh tú an fad seo mé?
16 Y entró el rey David, y estuvo delante de Jehová, y dijo: Jehová Dios, ¿quién soy yo, y cuál es mi casa, que me has traído hasta este lugar?
16 kam der König David und blieb vor dem HERRN und sprach: Wer bin ich, HERR, GOTT, und was ist mein Haus, daß du mich bis hierher gebracht hast?
17 And this was only a small thing to you, O God; but your words have even been about the far-off future of your servant's family, looking on me as on one of high position, O Lord God.
17 C'est peu de chose à tes yeux, ô Dieu! Tu parles de la maison de ton serviteur pour les temps à venir. Et tu daignes porter les regards sur moi à la manière des hommes, toi qui es élevé, Éternel Dieu!
17 Ach ní leor leat an fad seo, a Dhia, agus déanann tú do gheallúintí a shíneadh amach chuig teaghlach do shearbhónta san am atá i bhfad romhainn. Taispeánann tú mar a bheadh líne shleachta agus is é an Tiarna, Dia, atá á gheallúint.
17 Y aun esto, oh Dios, te ha parecido poco, pues que has hablado de la casa de tu siervo para más lejos, y me has mirado como á un hombre excelente, oh Jehová Dios.
17 Und das hat dich noch zu wenig gedeucht, Gott, sondern du hast über das Haus deines Knechtes noch von fernem Zukünftigen geredet; und hast mich angesehen nach Menschenweise, der du in der Höhe Gott der HERR bist.
18 What more may David say to you? for you have knowledge of your servant.
18 Que pourrait te dire encore David sur la gloire accordée à ton serviteur? Tu connais ton serviteur.
18 Cad eile is féidir le do shearbhónta Dáiví a rá leat de bharr mar a thug tú onóir do do shearbhónta? Tú féin a rinne do shearbhónta a roghnú.
18 ¿Qué más puede añadir David pidiendo de ti para glorificar á tu siervo? mas tú conoces á tu siervo.
18 Was soll David mehr sagen zu dir, daß du deinem Knecht herrlich machst? Du erkennst deinen Knecht.
19 O Lord, because of your servant, and from your heart, you have done all these great things and let them be seen.
19 O Éternel! c'est à cause de ton serviteur, et selon ton coeur, que tu as fait toutes ces grandes choses, pour les lui révéler.
19 Ar son do shearbhónta, [an madra seo leat,] rinne tú rud chomh mór sin nuair a d'fhoilsigh tú na nithe móra seo atá le teacht.
19 Oh Jehová, por amor de tu siervo y según tu corazón, has hecho toda esta grandeza, para hacer notorias todas tus grandezas.
19 HERR, um deines Knechtes willen, nach deinem Herzen hast du alle solche großen Dinge getan, daß du kundtätest alle Herrlichkeit.
20 O Lord, there is no one like you, and no other God but you, as is clear from everything which has come to our ears.
20 O Éternel! nul n'est semblable à toi et il n'y a point d'autre Dieu que toi, d'après tout ce que nous avons entendu de nos oreilles.
20 Níl aon neach mar thú a Thiarna, agus níl aon Dia ann ach tú amháin, mar a chuala ár gcluasa féin.
20 Jehová, no hay semejante á ti, ni hay Dios sino tú, según todas las cosas que hemos oído con nuestros oídos.
20 HERR, es ist deinesgleichen nicht und ist kein Gott denn du, nach allem, was wir mit unseren Ohren gehört haben.
21 And what other nation in the earth, like your people Israel, did a god go out to take for himself, to be his people, making his name great and to be feared, driving out the nations from before your people whom you made free and took out of Egypt?
21 Est-il sur la terre une seule nation qui soit comme ton peuple d'Israël, que Dieu est venu racheter pour en former son peuple, pour te faire un nom et pour accomplir des miracles et des prodiges, en chassant des nations devant ton peuple que tu as racheté d'Égypte?
21 An bhfúil pobal eile ar talamh mar do phobal féin, Iosrael, le Dia a chuaigh á bhfuascailt agus ag déanamh pobail leis féin díobh, á mhóradh féin agus ag déanamh nithe éachtacha scanrúla ar a son, ag díbirt ciníocha roimh do phobal a d'fhuascail tú ón Éigipt?
21 ¿Y qué gente hay en la tierra como tu pueblo Israel, cuyo Dios fuese y se redimiera un pueblo, para hacerte nombre con grandezas y maravillas, echando las gentes de delante de tu pueblo, que tú rescataste de Egipto?
21 Und wo ist ein Volk auf Erden wie dein Volk Israel, um welches willen Gott hingegangen ist, sich ein Volk zu erlösen und sich selbst einen Namen zu machen von großen und schrecklichen Dingen, Heiden auszustoßen vor deinem Volk her, das du aus Ägypten erlöst hast.
22 For your people Israel you made yours for ever; and you, Lord, became their God.
22 Tu as établi ton peuple d'Israël, pour qu'il fût ton peuple à toujours; et toi, Éternel, tu es devenu son Dieu.
22 De do phobal Iosrael rinne tú do phobal féin go deo, agus is tusa, a Thiarna, atá i do Dhia acu feasta.
22 Tú has constituído á tu pueblo Israel por pueblo tuyo para siempre; y tú, Jehová, has venido á ser su Dios.
22 Und du hast dir dein Volk Israel zum Volk gemacht ewiglich; und du, HERR, bist ihr Gott geworden.
23 And now, Lord, let your words about your servant and about his family be made certain for ever, and do as you have said.
23 Maintenant, ô Éternel! que la parole que tu as prononcée sur ton serviteur et sur sa maison subsiste éternellement, et agis selon ta parole!
23 Anois, a Thiarna, an gealltanas a rinne tú, le do shearbhónta agus lena theaghlach, bíodh sé daingean go deo, agus déan mar a dúirt tú.
23 Ahora pues, Jehová, la palabra que has hablado acerca de tu siervo y de su casa, sea firme para siempre, y haz como has dicho.
23 Nun, HERR, das Wort, das du geredet hast über deinen Knecht und über sein Haus, werde wahr ewiglich, und tue, wie du geredet hast.
24 So let your words be made certain and your name be made great, when men say, The Lord of armies is the God of Israel; and when the family of David your servant is made strong before you.
24 Qu'elle subsiste, afin que ton nom soit à jamais glorifié et que l'on dise: L'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël, est un Dieu pour Israël! Et que la maison de David, ton serviteur, soit affermie devant toi!
24 Bíodh sé daingean socair go mbeidh d'ainm in ardchéim go deo, agus déarfaidh daoine: ‘Tá Tiarna na Slua ina Dhia ar Iosrael; sé is Dia ag Iosrael.’ Déanfar teaghlach do shearbhónta Dáiví daingean i do láthair,
24 Permanezca pues, y sea engrandecido tu nombre para siempre, á fin de que se diga: Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, es Dios para Israel. Y sea la casa de tu siervo David firme delante de ti.
24 Und dein Name werde wahr und groß ewiglich, daß man sage: Der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels, ist Gott in Israel, und das Haus deines Knechtes David ist beständig vor dir.
25 For you, O my God, have let your servant see that you will make him head of a line of kings; and so it has come into your servant's heart to make his prayer to you.
25 Car toi-même, ô mon Dieu, tu as révélé à ton serviteur que tu lui bâtirais une maison. C'est pourquoi ton serviteur a osé prier devant toi.
25 óir is tusa, tusa féin, a d'fhoilsigh do do sheirbhíseach go dtógfá teaghlach dó; dá bhrí sin bhí sé de mhisneach ag do shearbhónta an phaidir seo a chur suas chugat.
25 Porque tú, Dios mío, revelaste al oído á tu siervo que le has de edificar casa; por eso ha hallado tu siervo motivo de orar delante de ti.
25 Denn du, mein Gott, hast das Ohr deines Knechtes geöffnet, daß du ihm ein Haus bauen willst; darum hat dein Knecht Mut gefunden, daß er vor dir betet.
26 And now, O Lord, you are God, and you have said you will give this good thing to your servant:
26 Maintenant, ô Éternel! tu es Dieu, et tu as annoncé cette grâce à ton serviteur.
26 Sea, a Thiarna, is Dia thú go deimhin, agus rinne tú an gealltanas fónta seo do do sheirbhíseach.
26 Ahora pues, Jehová, tú eres el Dios que has hablado de tu siervo este bien;
26 Nun, HERR, du bist Gott und hast solch Gutes deinem Knecht geredet.
27 And now you have been pleased to give your blessing to the family of your servant, so that it may go on for ever before you; you, O Lord, have given your blessing, and a blessing will be on it for ever.
27 Veuille donc bénir la maison de ton serviteur, afin qu'elle subsiste à toujours devant toi! Car ce que tu bénis, ô Éternel! est béni pour l'éternité.
