1 Then David had discussions with the captains of thousands and the captains of hundreds and with every chief.
1 David tint conseil avec les chefs de milliers et de centaines, avec tous les princes.
1 Chuaigh Dáiví i gcomhairle leis na ceannairí míle agus na ceannairí céad, agus le gach ceannasaí.
1 Entonces David tomó consejo con los capitanes de millares y de cientos, y con todos los jefes.
1 Und David hielt einen Rat mit den Hauptleuten über tausend und über hundert und mit allen Fürsten
2 And David said to all the men of Israel who had come together there, If it seems good to you and if it is the purpose of the Lord our God, let us send to all the rest of our brothers, everywhere in the land of Israel, and to the priests and the Levites in their towns and the country round them, and get them to come together here to us;
2 Et David dit à toute l'assemblée d'Israël: Si vous le trouvez bon, et si cela vient de l'Éternel, notre Dieu, envoyons de tous côtés vers nos frères qui restent dans toutes les contrées d'Israël, et aussi vers les sacrificateurs et les Lévites dans les villes où sont leurs banlieues, afin qu'ils se réunissent à nous,
2 Dúirt Dáiví le comhthionól uile Iosrael: “Más mian libh é, agus más é toil an Tiarna ár nDia é, seolfaimid teachtairí go dtí ar ngaolta eile ar fud críocha Iosrael go léir, agus go dtí na sagairt agus na Léivítigh sna cathracha agus sna tailte féaraigh ina gcóngar chomh maith, á iarraidh orthu gabháil linn.
2 Y dijo David á todo el congreso de Israel: Si os parece bien y de Jehová nuestro Dios, enviaremos á todas partes á llamar nuestros hermanos que han quedado en todas las tierras de Israel, y á los sacerdotes y Levitas que están con ellos en sus ciudades y ejidos que se junten con nosotros;
2 und sprach zu der ganzen Gemeinde Israel: Gefällt es euch und ist's vom HERRN, unserm Gott, so laßt uns allenthalben ausschicken zu unsern andern Brüdern in allen Landen Israels und mit ihnen zu den Priestern und Leviten in den Städten, da sie Vorstädte haben, daß sie zu uns versammelt werden,
3 And let us get back for ourselves the ark of our God: for in the days of Saul we did not go to it for directions.
3 et ramenons auprès de nous l'arche de notre Dieu, car nous ne nous en sommes pas occupés du temps de Saül.
3 Ansin tabharfaimid áirc ár nDé linn mar rinneamar faillí inti le linn Shóil.”
3 Y traigamos el arca de nuestro Dios á nosotros, porque desde el tiempo de Saúl no hemos hecho caso de ella.
3 und laßt uns die Lade unsers Gottes zu uns wieder holen; denn zu den Zeiten Sauls fragten wir nicht nach ihr.
4 And all the people said they would do so, for it seemed right to them.
4 Toute l'assemblée décida de faire ainsi, car la chose parut convenable à tout le peuple.
4 D'aontaigh an comhthionól go léir leis sin mar gur tuigeadh dóibh gurb é an ceart é a dhéanamh.
4 Y dijo todo el congreso que se hiciese así, porque la cosa parecía bien á todo el pueblo.
4 Da sprach die ganze Gemeinde, man sollte also tun; denn solches gefiel allem Volk wohl.
5 So David sent for all Israel to come together, from Shihor, the river of Egypt, as far as the way into Hamath, to get the ark of God from Kiriath-jearim.
5 David assembla tout Israël, depuis le Schichor d'Égypte jusqu'à l'entrée de Hamath, pour faire venir de Kirjath Jearim l'arche de Dieu.
5 Chruinnigh Dáiví Iosrael go léir le chéile ó Shíochór na hÉigipte go Bealach Hamát d'fhonn áirc Dé a thabhairt ar ais ó Chiriat Iáraím.
5 Entonces juntó David á todo Israel, desde Sihor de Egipto hasta entrar en Hamath, para que trajesen el arca de Dios de Chîriath-jearim.
5 Also versammelte David das ganze Israel, vom Sihor Ägyptens an, bis man kommt gen Hamath, die Lade Gottes zu holen von Kirjath-Jearim.
6 And David went up, with all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim in Judah, to get up from there the ark of God, over which the holy Name is named, the name of the Lord whose place is between the winged ones.
6 Et David, avec tout Israël, monta à Baala, à Kirjath Jearim, qui est à Juda, pour faire monter de là l'arche de Dieu, devant laquelle est invoqué le nom de l'Éternel qui réside entre les chérubins.
6 Chuaigh Dáiví agus Iosrael go léir suas go Bálá, go Ciriat Iáraím in Iúdá chun áirc Dé, ar a dtugtar ainm an Tiarna atá ina shuí ar na ceiribíní, a thabhairt aníos ón áit sin.
6 Y subió David con todo Israel á Baala de Chîriath-jearim, que es en Judá, para pasar de allí el arca de Jehová Dios que habita entre los querubines, sobre la cual su nombre es invocado.
6 Und David zog hinauf mit ganz Israel gen Baala, nach Kirjath-Jearim, welches liegt in Juda, daß er von da heraufbrächte die Lade Gottes, des HERRN, der auf dem Cherubim sitzt, da der Name angerufen wird.
7 And they put the ark of God on a new cart, and took it out of the house of Abinadab; and Uzza and Ahio were the drivers of the cart.
7 Ils mirent sur un char neuf l'arche de Dieu, qu'ils emportèrent de la maison d'Abinadab: Uzza et Achjo conduisaient le char.
7 Leag siad áirc Dé ar charr nua i dteach Aibíonádáb. Bhí Uzá agus Aichió ag tiomáint an chairr,
7 Y lleváronse el arca de Dios de la casa de Abinadab en un carro nuevo; y Uzza y su hermano guiaban el carro.
7 Und sie ließen die Lade Gottes auf einem neuen Wagen führen aus dem Hause Abinadabs. Usa aber und sein Bruder trieben den Wagen.
8 Then David and all Israel made melody before God with all their strength, with songs and corded instruments of music, and with brass instruments and horns.
8 David et tout Israël dansaient devant Dieu de toute leur force, en chantant, et en jouant des harpes, des luths, des tambourins, des cymbales et des trompettes.
8 agus bhí Dáiví agus Iosrael go léir ag rince os comhair Dé ar a ndícheall, ag gabháil amhrán le ceol na lirí, na gcruiteanna, na mbodhrán, na gciombal, agus na dteampán.
8 Y David y todo Israel hacían alegrías delante de Dios con todas sus fuerzas, con canciones, arpas, salterios, tamboriles, címbalos y trompetas.
8 David aber und das ganze Israel spielten vor Gott her aus ganzer Macht mit Liedern, mit Harfen, mit Psaltern, mit Pauken, mit Zimbeln, und mit Posaunen.
9 And when they came to the grain-floor of Chidon, Uzza put out his hand to keep the ark in its place, for the oxen were slipping.
9 Lorsqu'ils furent arrivés à l'aire de Kidon, Uzza étendit la main pour saisir l'arche, parce que les boeufs la faisaient pencher.
9 Nuair a thángadar chomh fada le hurlár buailte na Bunsaí, shín Uzá a lámh uaidh amach le greim a bhreith ar an áirc mar go raibh na daimh ag tuisliú.
9 Y como llegaron á la era de Chidón, Uzza extendió su mano al arca para tenerla, porque los bueyes se desmandaban.
9 Da sie aber kamen zur Tenne Chidon, reckte Usa seine Hand aus, die Lade zu halten; denn die Rinder schritten beiseit aus.
10 And the wrath of the Lord, burning against Uzza, sent destruction on him because he had put his hand on the ark, and death came to him there before God.
10 La colère de l'Éternel s'enflamma contre Uzza, et l'Éternel le frappa parce qu'il avait étendu la main sur l'arche. Uzza mourut là, devant Dieu.
10 Ansin las fearg an Tiarna in aghaidh Uzá agus leag sé ar lár é mar gur chuir sé lámh ar an áirc, agus fuair sé bás ansiúd i láthair Dé.
10 Y el furor de Jehová se encendió contra Uzza, é hiriólo, porque había extendido su mano al arca: y murió allí delante de Dios.
10 Da erzürnte der Grimm des HERRN über Usa, und er schlug ihn, darum daß er seine Hand hatte ausgereckt an die Lade, daß er daselbst starb vor Gott.
11 And David was angry because of the Lord's outburst of wrath against Uzza, and he gave that place the name Perez-uzza, to this day.
11 David fut irrité de ce que l'Éternel avait frappé Uzza d'un tel châtiment. Et ce lieu a été appelé jusqu'à ce jour Pérets Uzza.
11 Bhí Dáiví míshásta mar gur bhladhm an Tiarna i bhfearg in aghaidh Uzá; agus tugtar an Bhladhm-in-aghaidh-Uzá ar an áit ó shin.
11 Y David tuvo pesar, porque Jehová había hecho rotura en Uzza; por lo que llamó aquel lugar Pérez-uzza, hasta hoy.
11 Da ward David traurig, daß der HERR den Usa wegriß, und hieß die Stätte Perez-Usa bis auf diesen Tag.
12 And so great was David's fear of God that day, that he said, How may I let the ark of God come to me?
12 David eut peur de Dieu en ce jour-là, et il dit: Comment ferais-je entrer chez moi l'arche de Dieu?
12 Bhí eagla ar Dháiví an lá sin roimh Dhia. “Conas a thabharfainn áirc Dé liom abhaile?” ar sé.
12 Y David temió á Dios aquel día, y dijo: ¿Cómo he de traer á mi casa el arca de Dios?
12 Und David fürchtete sich vor Gott des Tages und sprach: Wie soll ich die Lade Gottes zu mir bringen?
13 So David did not let the ark come back to him to the town of David, but had it turned away and put into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.
13 David ne retira pas l'arche chez lui dans la cité de David, et il la fit conduire dans la maison d'Obed Édom de Gath.
13 Níor thug Dáiví an áirc leis abhaile go cathair Dháiví dá bhrí sin, ach thug sé í go teach Obaed Eadóm an Gatach.
13 Y no trajo David el arca á su casa en la ciudad de David, sino llevóla á casa de Obed-edom Getheo.
13 Darum ließ er die Lade Gottes nicht zu sich bringen in die Stadt Davids, sondern lenkte sie hin ins Haus Obed-Edoms, des Gahtiters.
14 And the ark of God was in the house of Obed-edom for three months; and the Lord sent a blessing on the house of Obed-edom and on all he had.
14 L'arche de Dieu resta trois mois dans la maison d'Obed Édom, dans sa maison. Et l'Éternel bénit la maison d'Obed Édom et tout ce qui lui appartenait.
