1 In those days Hezekiah was ill and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, came to him, and said to him, The Lord says, Put your house in order, for your death is near.
1 En ce temps-là, Ézéchias fut malade à la mort. Le prophète Ésaïe, fils d'Amots, vint auprès de lui, et lui dit: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Donne tes ordres à ta maison, car tu vas mourir, et tu ne vivras plus.
1 Sna laethanta úd buaileadh Hiziciá tinn agus bhí sé i mbéal báis. Tháinig an fáidh Íseáia mac Ámóz chuige agus dúirt leis: “Mar seo a deir an Tiarna: ‘Cuir eagar ar do chúraimí, mar gheobhaidh tú bás gan téarnamh.’ ”
1 En aquellos días cayó Ezechîas enfermo de muerte, y vino á él Isaías profeta hijo de Amós, y díjole: Jehová dice así: Dispón de tu casa, porque has de morir, y no vivirás.
1 Zu der Zeit ward Hiskia todkrank. Und der Prophet Jesaja, der Sohn des Amoz, kam zu ihm und sprach zu ihm: So spricht der HERR: Beschicke dein Haus; denn du wirst sterben und nicht leben bleiben!
2 Then, turning his face to the wall, he made his prayer to the Lord, saying,
2 Ézéchias tourna son visage contre le mur, et fit cette prière à l'Éternel:
2 D'iompaigh Hiziciá a aghaidh ar an mballa agus chuir sé an ghuí seo chun an Tiarna:
2 Entonces volvió él su rostro á la pared, y oró á Jehová, y dijo:
2 Er aber wandte sein Antlitz zur Wand und betete zum HERRN und sprach:
3 O Lord, keep in mind how I have been true to you with all my heart, and have done what is good in your eyes. And Hezekiah gave way to bitter weeping.
3 O Éternel! souviens-toi que j'ai marché devant ta face avec fidélité et intégrité de coeur, et que j'ai fait ce qui est bien à tes yeux! Et Ézéchias répandit d'abondantes larmes.
3 “Cuimhnigh, impím ort, mar a d'iompair mé mé féin go dílis agus le dúthracht chroí i do láthair agus a rinne mé an ceart i do láthair.” Agus ghoil Hiziciá go fuíoch.
3 Ruégote, oh Jehová, ruégote hagas memoria de que he andado delante de ti en verdad é íntegro corazón, y que he hecho las cosas que te agradan. Y lloró Ezechîas con gran lloro.
3 Ach, HERR, gedenke doch, daß ich vor dir treulich gewandelt habe und mit rechtschaffenem Herzen und habe getan, was dir wohl gefällt. Und Hiskia weinte sehr.
4 Now before Isaiah had gone out of the middle of the town, the word of the Lord came to him, saying,
4 Ésaïe, qui était sorti, n'était pas encore dans la cour du milieu, lorsque la parole de l'Éternel lui fut adressée en ces termes:
4 Sula raibh an chúirt mheánach fágtha ag Íseáia tháinig focal an Tiarna chuige:
4 Y antes que Isaías saliese hasta la mitad del patio, fué palabra de Jehová á Isaías, diciendo:
4 Da aber Jesaja noch nicht zur Stadt halb hinausgegangen war, kam des HERRN Wort zu ihm und sprach:
5 Go back and say to Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, The Lord, the God of David your father, says, Your prayer has come to my ears, and I have seen your weeping; see, I will make you well: on the third day you will go up to the house of the Lord.
5 Retourne, et dis à Ézéchias, chef de mon peuple: Ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu de David, ton père: J'ai entendu ta prière, j'ai vu tes larmes. Voici, je te guérirai; le troisième jour, tu monteras à la maison de l'Éternel.
5 “Cas ar do sháil agus abair le Hiziciá, prionsa mo phobail: ‘Seo mar a deir an Tiarna, Dia Dháiví do shinsear: Chuala mé do ghuí agus chonaic mé do dheora. Déanfaidh mé thú a leigheas; faoi cheann trí lá rachaidh tú suas go Teampall an Tiarna.
5 Vuelve, y di á Ezechîas, príncipe de mi pueblo: Así dice Jehová, el Dios de David tu padre: Yo he oído tu oración, y he visto tus lágrimas: he aquí yo te sano; al tercer día subirás á la casa de Jehová.
5 Kehre um und sage Hiskia, dem Fürsten meines Volkes: So spricht der HERR, der Gott deines Vaters David: Ich habe dein Gebet gehört und deine Tränen gesehen. Siehe, ich will dich gesund machen, am dritten Tage wirst du hinauf in das Haus des HERRN gehen,
6 I will give you fifteen more years of life; and I will keep you and this town safe from the hands of the king of Assyria; I will keep this town safe, for my honour, and for the honour of my servant David.
6 J'ajouterai à tes jours quinze années. Je te délivrerai, toi et cette ville, de la main du roi d'Assyrie; je protégerai cette ville, à cause de moi, et à cause de David, mon serviteur.
6 Tabharfaidh mé cúig bliana déag d'fhad saoil duit. Déanfaidh mé thusa agus an chathair seo a fhuascailt ó láimh rí na hAsaíre, agus déanfaidh mé an chathair seo a chosaint ar mo shon féin agus ar son mo shearbhónta Dáiví.’ ”
6 Y añadiré á tus días quince años, y te libraré á ti y á esta ciudad de mano del rey de Asiria; y ampararé esta ciudad por amor de mí, y por amor de David mi siervo.
6 und ich will fünfzehn Jahre zu deinem Leben tun und dich und diese Stadt erretten von dem König von Assyrien und diese Stadt beschirmen um meinetwillen und um meines Knechtes David willen.
7 Then Isaiah said, Take a cake of figs. So they took it and put it on his wound, and he got better.
7 Ésaïe dit: Prenez une masse de figues. On la prit, et on l'appliqua sur l'ulcère. Et Ézéchias guérit.
7 Dúirt Íseáia: “Tugtar ceirín figí anseo, agus [tógtar agus cuirtear leis an neascóid é le go leigheasfaí] an rí.”
7 Y dijo Isaías: Tomad masa de higos. Y tomándola, pusieron sobre la llaga, y sanó.
7 Und Jesaja sprach: Bringet her ein Pflaster von Feigen! Und da sie es brachten, legten sie es auf die Drüse; und er ward gesund.
8 And Hezekiah said to Isaiah, What is to be the sign that the Lord will make me well, and that I will go up to the house of the Lord on the third day?
8 Ézéchias avait dit à Ésaïe: A quel signe connaîtrai-je que l'Éternel me guérira, et que je monterai le troisième jour à la maison de l'Éternel?
8 Dúirt Hiziciá le hÍseáia: “Cén comhartha a inseoidh dom go leigheasfaidh an Tiarna mé agus go mbeidh mé ag dul suas go Teampall an Tiarna faoi cheann trí lá?”
8 Y Ezechîas había dicho á Isaías: ¿Qué señal tendré de que Jehová me sanará, y que subiré á la casa de Jehová al tercer día?
8 Hiskia aber sprach zu Jesaja: Welches ist das Zeichen, daß mich der HERR wird gesund machen und ich in des HERRN Haus hinaufgehen werde am dritten Tage?
9 And Isaiah said, This is the sign the Lord will give you, that he will do what he has said; will the shade go forward ten degrees or back?
9 Et Ésaïe dit: Voici, de la part de l'Éternel, le signe auquel tu connaîtras que l'Éternel accomplira la parole qu'il a prononcée: L'ombre avancera-t-elle de dix degrés, ou reculera-t-elle de dix degrés?
9 “Seo é an comhartha ón Tiarna,” arsa Íseáia, “go ndéanfaidh sé mar atá ráite aige; arbh fhearr leat an scáth a dhul deich gcéim i bhfad, nó a dhul deich gcéim ar gcúl?”
9 Y respondió Isaías: Esta señal tendrás de Jehová, de que hará Jehová esto que ha dicho: ¿Avanzará la sombra diez grados, ó retrocederá diez grados?
9 Jesaja sprach: Das Zeichen wirst du haben vom HERRN, daß der HERR tun wird, was er geredet hat: Soll der Schatten zehn Stufen fürdergehen oder zehn Stufen zurückgehen?
10 And Hezekiah said in answer, It is a simple thing for the shade to go forward; but let it go back ten degrees.
10 Ézéchias répondit: C'est peu de chose que l'ombre avance de dix degrés; mais plutôt qu'elle recule de dix degrés.
10 “Is furasta don scáth dul deich gcéim i bhfad,” arsa Hiziciá; “téadh sé ar gcúl, más ea, deich gcéim.”
10 Y Ezechîas respondió: Fácil cosa es que la sombra decline diez grados: pero, que la sombra vuelva atrás diez grados.
10 Hiskia sprach: Es ist leicht, daß der Schatten zehn Stufen niederwärts gehe; das will ich nicht, sondern daß er zehn Stufen hinter sich zurückgehe.
11 Then Isaiah the prophet made prayer to the Lord, and he made the shade go back ten degrees from its position on the steps of Ahaz.
11 Alors Ésaïe, le prophète, invoqua l'Éternel, qui fit reculer l'ombre de dix degrés sur les degrés d'Achaz, où elle était descendue.
11 Ghlaoigh an fáidh Íseáia ansin chun an Tiarna agus thug seisean an scáth deich gcéim ar gcúl [ar chéimeanna] Áchaz. Toscaireacht ón mBablóin
11 Entonces el profeta Isaías clamó á Jehová; é hizo volver la sombra por los grados que había descendido en el reloj de Achâz, diez grados atrás.
11 Da rief der Prophet den HERRN an; und der Schatten ging hinter sich zurück zehn Stufen am Zeiger Ahas, die er niederwärts gegangen war.
12 At that time, Merodach-baladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters with an offering to Hezekiah, because he had news that Hezekiah had been ill.
12 En ce même temps, Berodac Baladan, fils de Baladan, roi de Babylone, envoya une lettre et un présent à Ézéchias, car il avait appris la maladie d'Ézéchias.
12 San am sin chuir Marodac Baladán mac Bhaladán rí na Bablóine teachtairí le litreacha agus bronntanas go Hiziciá mar gur chuala sé faoina thinneas [agus faoina leigheas].
12 En aquel tiempo Berodach-baladán hijo de Baladán, rey de Babilonia, envió letras y presentes á Ezechîas, porque había oído que Ezechîas había caído enfermo.
12 Zu der Zeit sandte Berodoch-Baladan, der Sohn Baladans, König zu Babel, Briefe und Geschenke zu Hiskia; denn er hatte gehört, daß Hiskia krank gewesen war.
13 And Hezekiah was glad at their coming and let them see all his store of wealth, the silver and the gold and the spices and the oil of great price, and the house of his arms, and everything there was in his stores; there was nothing in all his house or his kingdom which Hezekiah did not let them see.
13 Ézéchias donna audience aux envoyés, et il leur montra le lieu où étaient ses choses de prix, l'argent et l'or, les aromates et l'huile précieuse, son arsenal, et tout ce qui se trouvait dans ses trésors: il n'y eut rien qu'Ézéchias ne leur fît voir dans sa maison et dans tous ses domaines.
13 Chuir sin gliondar ar Hiziciá agus thaispeáin sé a theach taisce go léir do na teachtairí, an t‑airgead, an t‑ór, na spíosraí, an ola luachmhar, a stóras airm chomh maith, agus gach rud a bhí ina thithe stóir. Ní raibh aon ní ina phálás ná ina chríocha go léir nár thaispeáin Hiziciá dóibh.
13 Y Ezechîas los oyó, y mostróles toda la casa de las cosas preciosas, plata, oro, y especiería, y preciosos ungüentos; y la casa de sus armas, y todo lo que había en sus tesoros: ninguna cosa quedó que Ezechîas no les mostrase, así en su casa como en todo su señorío.
13 Hiskia aber war fröhlich mit ihnen und zeigte ihnen das ganze Schatzhaus, Silber, Gold, Spezerei und das beste Öl, und das Zeughaus und alles, was in seinen Schätzen vorhanden war. Es war nichts in seinem Hause und in seiner ganzen Herrschaft, das ihnen Hiskia nicht zeigte.
14 Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah and said to him, What did these men say and where did they come from? And Hezekiah said, They came from a far country, even from Babylon.
14 Ésaïe, le prophète, vint ensuite auprès du roi Ézéchias, et lui dit: Qu'ont dit ces gens-là, et d'où sont-ils venus vers toi? Ézéchias répondit: Ils sont venus d'un pays éloigné, de Babylone.
14 Ansin tháinig an fáidh Íseáia go dtí Hiziciá rí agus d'fhiafraigh de: “Cad dúirt na fir seo, agus cad as ar thángadar?” D'fhreagair Hiziciá: “Thángadar ón imigéin, ón mBablóin.”
14 Entonces el profeta Isaías vino al rey Ezechîas, y díjole: ¿Qué dijeron aquellos varones, y de dónde vinieron á ti? Y Ezechîas le respondió: De lejanas tierras han venido, de Babilonia.
14 Da kam Jesaja, der Prophet, zum König Hiskia und sprach zu ihm: Was haben diese Leute gesagt? und woher sind sie zu dir gekommen? Hiskia sprach: Sie sind aus fernen Landen zu mir gekommen, von Babel.
15 And he said, What have they seen in your house? And Hezekiah said in answer, They saw everything in my house: there is nothing among my stores which I did not let them see.
15 Ésaïe dit encore: Qu'ont-ils vu dans ta maison? Ézéchias répondit: Ils ont vu tout ce qui est dans ma maison: il n'y a rien dans mes trésors que je ne leur aie fait voir.
15 Dúirt sé: “Cad a chonaic siad i do phálas?” “Chonaic siad gach rud atá i mo theach,” arsa Hiziciá. “Níl aon ní i mo stórais nár thaispeáin mé dóibh.”
15 Y él le volvió á decir: ¿Qué vieron en tu casa? Y Ezechîas respondió: Vieron todo lo que había en mi casa; nada quedó en mis tesoros que no les mostrase.
15 Er sprach: Was haben sie gesehen in deinem Hause? Hiskia sprach: Sie haben alles gesehen, was in meinem Hause ist, und ist nichts in meinen Schätzen, was ich ihnen nicht gezeigt hätte.
16 And Isaiah said to Hezekiah, Give ear to the word of the Lord.
16 Alors Ésaïe dit à Ézéchias: Écoute la parole de l'Éternel!
16 Ansin dúirt Íseáia le Hiziciá:
16 Entonces Isaías dijo á Ezechîas: Oye palabra de Jehová:
16 Da sprach Jesaja zu Hiskia: Höre des HERRN Wort:
17 Truly, days are coming when everything in your house, and whatever your fathers have put in store till this day, will be taken away to Babylon: all will be gone, says the Lord.
17 Voici, les temps viendront où l'on emportera à Babylone tout ce qui est dans ta maison et ce que tes pères ont amassé jusqu'à ce jour; il n'en restera rien, dit l'Éternel.
17 “Éist le briathar an Tiarna: ‘Féach, tiocfaidh na laethanta nuair a sciobfar chun siúil go dtí an Bhablóin gach rud atá i do phálás, gach rud a chruinnigh do shinsir go dtí an lá inniu. Ní fhágfar aon ní,’ arsa an Tiarna.
17 He aquí vienen días, en que todo lo que está en tu casa, y todo lo que tus padres han atesorado hasta hoy, será llevado á Babilonia, sin quedar nada, dijo Jehová.
17 Siehe, es kommt die Zeit, daß alles wird gen Babel weggeführt werden aus deinem Hause und was deine Väter gesammelt haben bis auf diesen Tag; und wird nichts übriggelassen werden, spricht der HERR.
18 And your sons, the offspring of your body, they will take away to be unsexed servants in the house of the king of Babylon.
18 Et l'on prendra de tes fils, qui seront sortis de toi, que tu auras engendrés, pour en faire des eunuques dans le palais du roi de Babylone.
18 ‘Déanfar cuid de do chlann mhac a rugadh duit a bhreith chun siúil agus a roghnú le bheith ina gcoillteáin i bpálás rí na Bablóine.’ ”
18 Y de tus hijos que saldrán de ti, que habrás engendrado, tomarán; y serán eunucos en el palacio del rey de Babilonia.
18 Dazu von den Kindern, die von dir kommen, die du zeugen wirst, werden sie nehmen, daß sie Kämmerer seien im Palast des Königs zu Babel.
19 Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, Good is the word of the Lord which you have said. Then he said, ... if in my time there is peace and righteousness?
19 Ézéchias répondit à Ésaïe: La parole de l'Éternel, que tu as prononcée, est bonne. Et il ajouta: N'y aura-t-il pas paix et sécurité pendant ma vie?
19 Dúirt Hiziciá le hÍseáia: “An focal seo leis an Tiarna a d'fhógair tú, is maith é,” mar bhí sé á rá leis féin: “Nach cuma é? fad atá síocháin le mo ré agus sinn saor ó bhaol.”
19 Entonces Ezechîas dijo á Isaías: La palabra de Jehová que has hablado, es buena. Después dijo: ¿Mas no habrá paz y verdad en mis días?
19 Hiskia aber sprach zu Jesaja: Das ist gut, was der HERR geredet hat, und sprach weiter: Es wird doch Friede und Treue sein zu meinen Zeiten.
20 Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his power, and how he made the pool and the stream, to take water into the town, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Judah?
20 Le reste des actions d'Ézéchias, tous ses exploits, et comment il fit l'étang et l'aqueduc, et amena les eaux dans la ville, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois de Juda?
20 An chuid eile de stair Hiziciá, a chrógacht go léir, conas mar a thóg sé an linn agus an tollán leis an uisce a thabhairt isteach sa chathair, nach bhfuil sé sin go léir scríofa i Leabhar Annála Ríthe Iúdá?
20 Lo demás de los hechos de Ezechîas, y todo su vigor, y cómo hizo el estanque, y el conducto, y metió las aguas en la ciudad, ¿no está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá?
20 Was mehr von Hiskia zu sagen ist und alle seine Macht und was er getan hat und der Teich und die Wasserleitung, durch die er Wasser in die Stadt geleitet hat, siehe, das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Juda's.
21 And Hezekiah went to rest with his fathers; and Manasseh his son became king in his place.
21 Ézéchias se coucha avec ses pères. Et Manassé, son fils, régna à sa place.
